ch.8
"You both probably have no idea why I've called you in here this evening."
Well...
You do have a strong suspicion, especially knowing who's sitting next to you in that moment, this situation only likely sparking up as a result of your secret dealings outside the campus grounds this past week. But you just sit there quietly not voicing any opinions, letting professor Jung navigate the conversation instead, which is taking place in his small office at the back of the dance studio. Jimin, however, who's sitting upright in the chair adjacent to you, seems completely clueless and even slightly worried based on his tense demeanor, his widened eyes cautiously inspecting the dance teacher with bated breath.
"I received a call from Mr. Park this afternoon..." professor Jung continues explaining, a conspicuous smile now gleaming on his face. "... And he's given his permission to let Jimin participate in the annual intercollegiate dance competition!"
"Wait... WHAT?! NO WAY!" Jimin promptly yelps as he jerks up in his chair, his palm slapping up to his mouth in utter shock before a happy chuckle trots out of him. "How did you even convince my dad, professor Jung?!"
"I didn't have to do any convincing. The decision came straight from him" the dance teacher beams brilliantly with his dimples, his attention now gradually shifting from Jimin to you.
It's right then when Jimin seems to realize you're also present in the room, the expressions on his overjoyed face swiftly deviating from happiness back to puzzlement. "So why is she here?" he points at you with a fluster, indeed a valid question on his part, but you still endure the burning silence, not wanting to reveal too much about anything.
"Mr. Park's agreed to let Jimin participate only if his grades remain unaffected. And he specifically requested for you, (y/n), to help Jimin with his studies. I apologize... I do understand this is a lot to ask from you" professor Jung speaks directly to you this time, a remorseful undertone laced with a plea in his inquiring voice.
He has nothing to be sorry for though as you're the one who'd brought this upon yourself, your fortuitous conversation with Mr. Park still freshly etched in your mind. The prominent man had already grown a liking towards you during your first week at the part-time job, surprisingly developing a respect for you and your ideas while you worked closely together with his secretary. It was just yesterday when you'd kindly asked him if you could leave the office an hour early to study for an upcoming exam, explaining in detail how your late night dance team practices were cutting into your time for school work, pressuring you into making some adjustments to your schedule.
"Of course you can take off early, (y/n). Exams come first! If only my son gave the same level of importance to his education" Mr. Park had hung his head with shaken disappointment, only to look up at you in a glimmer when you'd challenged him to view things a bit differently.
"If you don't mind, Sir... I don't think you give Jimin enough credit for his accomplishments."
"And what accomplishments would these be?" Mr. Park had posed, not offended by your brash statement at all, instead appearing attentive to hear your praise for his son, who he clearly thought was a failure for not following in his own business-minded footsteps.
"It's because of Jimin's impressive ability to dance that our university's won the intercollegiate competition 3 years in a row, a milestone no one's ever achieved in the past. Isn't that what every parent wants in their child? For them to actually be passionate about something and excel at it? You might not approve of Jimin's love for dance, but that doesn't make him any less amazing at it. He's the best at what he does... There's nobody better than him."
"But how far can he even get in life with dance? It all sounds exciting at your age, but the real world doesn't work that way. I thought a smart girl like you would surely have understood this."
"Sir, have you considered how much further Jimin will be able to go if you just once show him a hint of support for his passion? It will mean a lot to him coming from his father. At least give him a chance to try achieving his dreams."
Mr. Park had placed his hand on his chin, frivolously rubbing it as he took a while to think, finally meeting your eyes with shocking humility. "Can you ensure Jimin's doing well in his classes if I allow him to dance?" Mr. Park had suddenly sprung the unexpected assignment.
"It's not a lot to ask, professor Jung. I can help Jimin with his studies if that means he can be on the team" you respond similarly to the request in present time, the dance teacher's face muscles instantly relaxing at the sound of your willingness.
"Why the hell would dad put her up to this when he knows we're not even in the same classes, let alone in the same school year? I mean, she's two years younger than me! This doesn't make any sense at all."
"But I'm not complaining, am I? Why are you getting so worked up over it?"
"Because it's unfair to you. You're already busy with your own school work, the dance team practices at night, and you're also interning at my dad's company..." Jimin's voice trails off as if he's hitting an unanticipated realization, his shimmering eyes now sharply turning in your direction to search your face for the truth.
"I told you I can handle it. Would that be all then, professor Jung?" you sternly stand up to leave, not granting Jimin the time to even open his mouth in retaliation, or worse, precisely question you about your involvement in the matter, which he's seemingly recognizing by the minute.
"Yes. I just want to thank you again for committing your time to this, (y/n). We really need Jimin on our team to ensure that win, and now our chances of bringing home the trophy are looking solid. If you ever need assistance with anything, I'm always happy to help. And so will your other professors, I'm sure."
Flashing a faint smile at the elated teacher and totally ignoring Jimin, you hastily exit the office and pace across the dance studio two steps at a time, forcing the metal doors open with all your strength, then deciding to take the longer route back to your dormitory instead of the usual shortcut. However, Jimin eventually catches up to you by the end of the hallway in a breathless sprint. "(y/n)! Hey, stop! WAIT!"
"I really have to get to the library, Jimin. I need to study for—"
But the way Jimin swoops up in front of you compels you to stop short in your rambling sentences, your body banging into his chest from his sudden presence up ahead. It's quite apparent you're hiding something by how your eyes fail to meet his penetrative ones, all while he refuses to move out of your way, your faces just inches from one another in the lonely hallway.
"How did you convince my dad? I know you must've said something to him at work... Why would you do that for me?"
"I don't know what you're talking about..."
You certainly feel cornered as Jimin coarsely sighs with a hint of agitation while you fidget with your feet in an awkward silence, but you figure you've got no choice now but to delve into the discussion the way he's standing his ground with arms crossed across his chest, successfully trapping you with no way to back out of this instance.
"I just had a brief conversation with Mr. Park about your passion for dance and how he should try giving you a chance to pursue this career—"
"But how are you okay with the way he's basically forcing you to be my tutor in exchange for that? It's so not fair to you! You barely know him and what a manipulative bastard he can be. You shouldn't have accepted the deal and you still have time to change your mind. Why are you even doing this for me?"
"I'm doing this for you the same reason you're pissed at him for doing this to me" you blurt out, instantly wishing you'd thought a little before coming up with this response but it's too late, now covertly hoping Jimin catches on by putting some thought into your words.
"I don't understand..."
You're not even sure why you're feeling embarrassed at the thought of having to explicitly say it out loud, a tinge of pink blossoming your cheeks as you nervously lock eyes with Jimin's twinkling ones. Why do you have to spell it all out for him? How can boys be so emotionally incompetent sometimes?
"The Jimin I met when I started school wouldn't have felt angry for any inconveniences I'd have to experience for him. So let me ask you this — Why do you feel pissed that I have to pile on more work in exchange for you getting back on the dance team? The one thing you so desperately wanted over everything? It's a win-win for you. The trophy and a tutor. So why are you even bothered?"
Jimin's clearly lost in thought now, his wavering eyes searching the wall behind you as if the answers are somehow painted on there. The way his cheeks kick up in a red heat all of a sudden makes your heart skip a beat, an indication that he's coming close to working out his feelings for you by detangling the web of questions you'd so distinctly spun on him.
"Because it's unfair. And well... because I guess I care about you" his plump rosy lips press together, his entire body tensing up as he's unknowingly holding his breath.
"I guess I care about you too."
Despite the palpable embarrassment in the lone night's silence, your smiling eyes meet one another for a fleeting second of shared acknowledgement before you begin making your way back to your dormitory weaving the winding corridors. The truth was that through this tumultuous time being at the university, you'd both somewhere, deep down, grown to care about each other. Something had subconsciously changed between you both after you'd spent those vulnerable moments holding hands at the basketball court late that night, battling your personal failures together in quiet company.
The way you'd leaped up to defend Jimin in front of his father, and the way Jimin had felt angered by the unfair way you'd been treated spoke volumes about how you'd evolved in your relationship for the better, even before you both could come to your senses about these harboring feelings.

Tap.
The rustle of a crumpled up sheet of paper landing on your desk catches your attention as you're packing up your bag after your music theory class's dismissal. Upon scanning your eyes across the emptying lecture hall for the source of the mischief, you notice Jungkook leaning against the back wall intently observing you. He playfully points at the ball of paper as if urging you to take a look at it, so you roll your eyes and turn around to open it and sneak a peek.
"My birthday party's this weekend. Invite only."
"I see..." you briefly skim through the flyer which lists out the date, time and outfit expectations, amongst some other event related details.
"Am I allowed to come near you? Or is the invisible restraining order still in action?" Jungkook jokes in an attempt to gage your mood, carefully throwing no direct insults your way, which doesn't go unnoticed and makes you smile to yourself.
"The invite doesn't mention the location. Where are you hosting it?" you quickly hide your smile and turn around to face Jungkook again, giving him permission to come closer with a wave of your hand.
"Have you ever even gone to a college party, (y/n)? We're underaged so I'm not gonna go sharing the address on a flyer in case we get busted" Jungkook laughs, clearly happy you're allowing this conversation to happen in the first place, the pep in his step apparent as he makes his way over to your desk. "It's at Taehyung hyung and Jimin hyung's suite in the upperclassmen boys tower."
"Oh..."
Jungkook observes the sudden frown weighing down your lips, the boy astonishing you with his newfound attentiveness next. "Still fighting with Taehyung hyung?"
"I haven't spoken to him since I went off on him about his evil ways. How's he doing?" you steal the chance to check up on Taehyung.
Despite his cruel betrayal, Taehyung hadn't left your mind since you last saw him, the confrontation you'd planned in your dormitory replaying over and over again in your head at odd times, much to your dislike. Even if Taehyung seemingly hadn't given a fuck about you and had pretended to be your friend, you did care for him that entire time and still missed having that naive version of him around, as much as you hated to admit it. It was just going to be very difficult to trust him again if the opportunity to become real friends ever popped up in the future.
"Oh, he's not really been himself, that's for sure. He's begun acting the way he did after his dad died, withdrawn mostly. What did you even say to him? Jimin hyung and I've been getting a bit concerned. Maybe you could try talking to him? I don't know, he always seemed cheerful around you."
"He was pretending to be cheerful around me, Jeon. That was the whole point of his plan.. to fool me into believing we were friends. I don't even know what he's really like, now that I think about it."
"I know, but he's been scary lately. He clearly needs some type of intervention so I just thought maybe he'd be willing to speak with you. I don't think he feels like opening up to Jimin hyung or me about whatever this is."
"I guess I can try meeting him this week. Thanks for letting me know and for the suggestion... By the way, are you sure you're the same Jeon Jungkook I met on my first day here? Helping me and shit? It's like I don't even know who you are anymore" you fondly chuckle at Jungkook's intuitive side shining through. It was refreshing to have a normal conversation with him, almost therapeutic, as you felt some kind of weight lifted off of your mind about the confrontation with Taehyung.
"I'm full of surprises" Jungkook smirks as you smile in return and begin walking by his side out of the classroom, the sun beaming brightly in the courtyard reflecting both of your matching happy moods. "So you coming to my party?"
"I guess I'll stop by for a bit!"
"Awesome. Also, my real birthday's the day after tomorrow, we're only celebrating it on the weekend. So I'll be expecting two presents from you" Jungkook smartly giggles, your brows immediately raising up in question.
"What do you even gift a rich brat like you who pretty much has everything in the world? Any requests that a commoner like myself can afford?"
Jungkook suddenly stops in his steps after hearing your comment and turns to face you directly, his big bambi eyes gazing deeply in yours, a hint of sorrow lingering in his cast as he mentions "Your friendship. That's all."
He waves goodbye with a sweet smile that travels up to his pretty eyes, slowly turning around and walking away from you as you remain painfully rooted to your spot. You can't help but accept Jungkook has finally begun growing on you, his sincere comment unknowingly touching your heart and leaving you wanting more.
Tumblr media
You'd left Taehyung a couple of texts and even called him a few times, all to be ignored by him for over an entire day. It was close to 10pm the day after speaking with Jungkook about Taehyung's wellbeing, the usual time you'd start heading down to the dance studio for competition practice. But your mind's stuck on Taehyung with an uncomfortable buildup of worry, unable to stray away and focus on anything else.
With the brimming anxiousness you're feeling in your chest, you hurriedly decide to walk over to Taehyung's suite to check whether he's okay, if he's even there, before navigating your way down to the dance studio. Call it intuition or a gut feeling, but the moment you knock on his door and watch it swing open, a wave of gratitude hits you like a truck knowing you did the right thing by resolving to visit him.
"Oh... what are you- you doing he- here?"
The sight breaks your heart into a million pieces. Taehyung appears thoroughly disheveled, unlike you could've ever imagined — his unkempt hair sticking out in random places, his usual pouty lips cracked and colorless, the bags under his eyes alarming. His entire face scrunches up when the bright corridor lights swim into the pitch black apartment behind him. He's in a set of pajamas but it doesn't even look like he got ready or left his place at all today. He's clearly sloshed from the lingering stench of whiskey on his breath and from the way he'd slurred his words upon your arrival.
"I texted and called you many times since yesterday but you hadn't replied, so I came to see if you were okay."
"Oh, I'm splendid" Taehyung sloppily smiles with his eyes closed, his tongue clearly heavy and his speech impaired, his tall figure swaying to the side before he presses his forehead against the door.
Without even asking for permission, you walk straight inside with a surge of concern ripping up your chest, Taehyung not really noticing you anyways until you hold him by the shoulders and kick the door shut. Gently guiding him over to the couch and sitting him down while he incoherently grunts, you quietly get a glass of water from the kitchen behind him and turn on a dim stove light for more visibility, also to not directly irritate Taehyung's eyes. He huffs like a child when you hold the glass of water to his mouth but reluctantly gulps it down, eyes still closed and neck now resting back on the sofa as you place the empty glass on a table nearby.
Gonna miss practice. Taehyung's not doing well. I'm with him at your place. Don't worry but come straight back when you're finished at the studio.
You quickly shoot Jimin a text to inform him of your absence, and thank God for how you and Jimin are on good terms so you don't have to deal with his wrath for skipping practice. You now focus your attention back to Taehyung who's begun randomly humming, clearly way too drunk, and you suspect probably high as well based on the light waft of weed drifting through the apartment.
Scooting closer to Taehyung on the couch, you carefully lift up his heavy, lifeless arm and curl it around your shoulder, tightly wrapping both of your arms around his torso after and lightly resting your head on his chest. The overwhelming feeling of sadness seeing your once closest friend here in this condition, mixed with a pang of guilt for never checking up on him after your fight, edges you to the brink of tears, the only thing your heart wanting to do in that moment being holding him close, letting him know he's not alone.
A minute goes by, silent tears flowing down your cheeks and wetting his soft white shirt when Taehyung's motionless arm around your shoulder finally grips you and pulls you in even closer, his cheek resting on the top of your head, his lips pressed on your hair. You feel his entire body vibrating as he begins sobbing, and all you can do then is continue embracing him tightly, allowing him to get it all out, and be there for him to share his pain in those passing moments.
It feels like an hour's gone by but both you and Taehyung just sit there on the couch hugging each other, both quietly crying for different reasons with no words spoken, but certainly lessening each other's burdens. You end up pulling yourself together much before he does, but you don't move an inch until he's gradually calmed himself down, only choosing to tilt your head back a little and look up at his face once his breathing stabilizes as close to normal as you could've guessed.
"Have you eaten anything today? Want me to order jjajangmyeon for us from your favorite spot?"
"Yeah, that'd be great" Taehyung croaks, eyes still closed while pulling in a sniffle to clear his sinuses.
A burst of energy recharges you seeing Taehyung respond positively to your proposal, a relief now that his speech sounds more coherent, although you've never seen him appear so exhausted. With him accepting the idea to eat a filling meal, you're sure he'll feel a lot better after, and with that, you slowly let yourself out of the embrace and grab your phone, quickly placing 3 jjajangmyeon orders through the app, an extra one for Jimin when he returns back from dance practice.
After another couple of glasses of water, Taehyung seems much more awake, his eyes ultimately opening up and taking in your full sight for the first time since you'd arrived. You greet him with a small smile but he just blankly stares at you, his eyes empty and void of the charm they so usually radiantly carry, his gaze lowering down to the carpet as he questions "What made you come here tonight?"
"Oh, I mentioned earlier how I'd left you texts and calls but you hadn't replied for a day, so I just got worried. It's unlike you to not even respond."
"I think my phone ran out of battery so I probably didn't even get half the things you sent."
After asking Taehyung if he remembers where he left his phone and quickly locating it by the tub in the restroom, you put it on charge, crack a window open for some fresh cool night air, and settle down on the couch again. At once when you're back sitting next to him, Taehyung instantly tumbles out "Why did you even worry for me? I thought you hated me."
"I don't hate you. And we don't have to talk about this right now. Let's just get you better first—"
"No. I need to know."
You can't help but sigh, your lips shaking a bit by the way Taehyung's somber eyes meet yours and helplessly wait for a reply, urging you to share your concise yet truthful feelings.
"You were always my friend, Taehyung. I never stopped caring for you. Even if you didn't feel the same things for me."
Taehyung's downturned lips quiver uncontrollably at those words, his swollen nose pulling in another sniffle before he mumbles out "I'm sorry", struggling to hold himself back from another sob.
"I know you're sorry. I don't hold any grudges against you. We'll be fine with time" you reassure him with a comforting tone of voice, placing your hand on top of his and giving it a squeeze. He presses his lips together to stop them from quivering and nods in acknowledgment, resting his head back on the sofa without letting go of your hand.
A few more soundless minutes pass you by, the only noise breaking it being Taehyung's stomach rumbling with hunger here and there. You know for a fact you're not leaving him alone until Jimin comes back, but at the same time your mind's zooming with ideas on how you can help Taehyung pull himself out of this dangerous slope he's heading towards, until a seemingly considerate idea pops up in your head and you decide to voice it.
"How'd you feel if we went to a support group meeting for grief and dealing with the loss of a loved one? We'll go together. I want you to get better, Taehyung. I'm not going to allow you to fall even harder using alcohol and drugs. I know you're better than this."
Taehyung doesn't move or say anything in response, but you're sure he's heard you, so you give him some time to process what you'd just suggested. A knock on the door breaks the silence, temporarily divulging your attention to the visitor. A quick glance at the time and you know it couldn't have been Jimin, the practice usually running longer than this, but a soothing feeling relaxes your mind when you accept the food delivery at the door and begin unpacking the containers on the kitchen counter.
What you're unaware of is how Taehyung's dull eyes are only set on you ever since you'd gotten up from the couch, admiringly following you around and gratefully observing the way you're going out of your way to take care of him, even after everything he'd put you through, only a few hushed words despairingly escaping his mouth once you bring the jjajangmyeon over to him with a smile.
"I'll go with you. Thank you for saving me tonight, (y/n)."

I Did Everything I Was Supposed To Do (pt.1)
Haechan x male reader
Summary: Finals week turns out to be the final breaking point for y/n, but luckily Haechan is around right when you need him
Warnings: fluff, some angst: homophobia, allusions to panic disorder, stress
Tumblr media
“Fuck. I can’t believe I forgot about the final on Monday. Fuck fuck fuck” Y/n cursed under his breath as he walked as fast as he could toward the entrance to his boyfriend’s place. Y/n had a million things to do the next few days already, and now he had a final to cram for on top of it all. “One thing at a time” he told himself knowing it’s what Hyuck would tell him if they were together right now. He didn’t really listen to this advice of course… especially coming from his own mouth instead of his cute adorable boyfriend.Oh God. I wish he was here so bad. But Haechan was still at the dance studio and would be for the next several hours. That’s why y/n was even entering Haechan’s apartment right now in the first place; Daegal needed to be taken out while Haechan was gone.
He HAD to have his stupid extra long dance rehearsal today of course. On the day where he already had to finish a ton of assignments and now cram for a test. Y/n quickly threw his backpack on the ground and sprinted over to daegal scooping her up before she even knew what was happening. While he waited for Daegal to do her business and walk around a little, y/n got back to planning his study schedule in his head. If I start by studying for the exam… I can trade every 45 minutes from cramming to working on the lab report for my other class. Fuck! That depends on whether the others ever filled in their data. Ok so I’ll save that for the end and work on the PowerPoint instead even though it’s due the longest from now. As long as I cut myself off at around 1:00 am, that should be enough sleep to take the exam at 9:30 the next day. It was going to be a rough night, but y/n decided he’d just have to work away and hope for the best.
Y/N went back inside and scooped his backpack up again to go work in Hyuck’s bedroom. He found the smell of his boyfriend clinging to the room to be extremely comforting and he hoped it would help him stay calm and focused on his work. He opened up his laptop to the lecture notes for the exam and began skimming them for any confusing topics that jumped out at him. What the? I only know like 2 of these concepts?? I’m screwed. Y/N new from plenty of old tests that it would only make things worse if he worried about it now, and feeling himself start to panic, he decided to work on the PowerPoint instead. He figured he should just finish all his other assignments so that he could then spend the entire rest of the night studying.
An hour into working on the PowerPoint y/n’s phone buzzed. He opened it to find a message from one of his lab partners that read “hey y/n I’m really sorry but I’m actually boarding a plane right now so I’m not gonna be able to finish my part of the lab. Maybe you can ask [partner name 2] for her data? I think she got mine down too.”
Y/n: “I’ll ask her.”
Partner 1: “KK.”
“Gotta go, sorry again!”
Partner 2: “Shit. I don’t have her values either y/n. I’m pretty sure that part of the lab was online though, so one of us can just do the lab at home right now.”
“Oh wait actually, I have to take both of my finals on Monday. It’s due Tuesday right? So I won’t have time to do her part. Y/n any chance you can do it?”
Y/n: “ I only have one midterm tomorrow… I guess I can do it if no one else can.”
Partner 2: “Ur the best bro! Tysm <3”
Y/n: …
.
.
Fuck me. How am I supposed to do [p/n 1]’s work for them on top of everything else? Y/n barely had enough time to do all his work as it was. And he had done all of HIS work on the lab already too. He thought he’d just quickly analyze his partner’s data and then turn it in… but no. This is totally unfair. I have more work than either of them, and I’m doing their work for them too on top of it all. Y/n’s eyes grew misty for a second threatening to turn into tears, but y/n shook his head hard and the urge to cry went away for now. He had to get back to— wait no. He needed to cook dinner. With no Hyuck home to cook dinner like usual, he was going to starve if he didn’t make something for himself. Standing up quickly y/n smacked his arm on Hyuck’s dresser skinning it in the process. Great. Now he was bleeding. And it had gotten on his white shirt too. Except it wasn’t his shirt, it was his boyfriend’s shirt that he had borrowed. Y/n was this close to screaming in frustration, but stripped off the shirt quickly and made his way to the bathroom to clean the spot before it stained. And of course, he needed to throw it in the washer if he really didn’t want it to stain, and that meant he should really just do all of Haechan’s laundry now. So heart now racing in a slight panic, y/n gathered the laundry and started the cycle as quickly as possible so that he could start on dinner.
Opting for the most time efficient option, y/n grabbed some pasta and left it to boil while he got back to work for a few minutes. There sure was a lot on his mind now between the pasta he was cooking, Daegal (who he suddenly remembered needed to be fed as well), the lab report, the final exam in a day, Haechan’s laundry that still needed to be dried, folded, and put away, and the millions of other things he needed to get done before going home to his family at the end of the week. And the trip home would be another ordeal that required a lot of planning and prep work. Y/n had a lot of problems at home due to his conservative family and their recent discovery that he was dating Haechan. But that’s silly. I shouldn’t worry about that right now. And it’s not like it’s anything new knowing they all disapprove of my “lifestyle choice”. That’s old news, and I need to focus on this. Y/n went back to his multitasking and eventually got Daegal fed, the laundry in the dryer, and got a good portion of the lab done.
At 10:30 y/n finally felt satisfied with the PowerPoint and had finished collecting most of the data his partner was supposed to do. So he went to wash all the dishes he had left out at dinner and put away the leftovers as a quick study break. He smiled at the pasta he’d saved for Haechan knowing it would make his boyfriend’s day to find food ready for him after a long night of dance practice. When he walked back into Hyuck’s bedroom to finish the lab, he noticed several notifications on his phone again.
Mom: Hey you’re coming home on Wednesday right? You’ll be done with finals week by then?
Dad: Hey y/n you better have a gift ready for your mother when you come home on Tuesday. She’s still pretty upset about Haechan, so you should really try to make her feel better.
Bro: Dude mom and dad are pissed cuz dad thought you were coming home Tuesday after your final, and then mom told him you said Wednesday. So he flipped and said you were probably staying longer to fuck Haechan or something
Y/N: I told them both Wednesday. I AM spending Tuesday night at Hyuck’s place. But I just wanted a night to relax before immediately coming home
Don’t tell them that… just say I’m busy or something
Bro: sorry bro, that’s not gonna work. You better come home Tuesday or they’re gonna make the trip absolute hell for you
Y/N: fuck ok fine, I’ll make it work
Y/n was getting more and more stressed by the second. And now he wouldn’t even get any sort of buffer between finals week and seeing his family. And fuck he had that feeling in his head- that feeling of anxiety setting in- making him slightly dizzy and his chest tight. Fuck. Fuck. I’m gonna have a panic attack. I know it’s coming. Should I call Hyuck? He should be on his way home by now anyway right? Ok fuck. Yeah he should call his boyfriend. Maybe he could talk him through it. He prayed he was right and Hyuck would actually answer his phone, and to his relief, Hyuck answered right away.
“y/n! I’m on my way home and practice went pretty well! I think the show is going to be really good this quarter. Have you made dinner yet? And how’s the studying going?” He was so excited to hear his y/n ie’s voice on the phone. “Hyuck.” Y/n felt the lump in his throat form and wasn’t able to get out the rest of your words as he broke into tears. “Y/n? What’s wrong love? Are you ok?” No words came out of y/n as he began to hyperventilate. Haechan could hear y/n’s shallow breathing and put together that he must be having a panic attack. He assured y/n he’d be there in the next ten minutes and stayed on the phone with him until he rushed through the door exactly ten minutes later, Immediately making his way over to y/n huddled in the corner of his bed crying and hyperventilating. From past experience he knew y:n liked him to stay close until he was able to calm down and talk.
Haechan slowly climbed into the bed, sliding his body between your back and the bed frame, wrapping his arms around you in a comforting bear hug. “I’ve got you y/n. I’ve got you, and I’m not going anywhere.” Y/n began shaking in Haechan’s arms unable to fully process what was happening with his mind completely taken over by panic at this point. Haechan rested his chin on y/n’s soft hair and hummed a song. Y/n did his best to focus on the light vibrations on his head from Haechan’s tune. “I’ll just talk about my day a little too ok y/n? Squeeze my hand if you’d like that.” Y/n’s eyes remained squeezed tight, and his body was still trembling, but he gives Haechan’s hand a light squeeze back. “Ok love. Let’s see… I saw Jungwoo today! I know he’s your favorite dance major right? He was really cool to watch, you were right! He might even be more charismatic than me” he teased. Y/n didn’t laugh out loud or acknowledge him, but he appreciated Hyuck trying to lighten the mood. “I spent most of the night working on my duet with Mark though. They have us doing this really acrobatic hiphop song and it’s a lot of work. I’ve memorized all the footwork though. It was kind of funny watching Mark struggle with it more than me for once honestly. Next time you should tag along and watch. When it’s not finals week of course!” He adds, giving a small pec to your forehead.
“Is that why you’re stressed by the way? Finals?” He doesn’t really expect y/n to give any responses yet. But much to his surprise you shake your head in response. “No. More.” Y/n says quietly, starting to breath a little more evenly. “What else baby? What’s stressing you out.”
“Everything!” Y/n exclaims. “So much. TOO much” y/n squeaks out bursting into more tears. Haechan gently shushes you and squeezes his arms tighter around your body and begins planting little kisses all over your head to comfort you. “It’s ok y/n. It’s ok.” Hyuck can feel y/n’s body body relax a tiny bit despite his sobs. Y/n spins around melting into Haechan and burying his face in his chest
To be continued…

Summary: Sick day with Hyunjin while having schedules at the company and hanging out with your friends the fimmies
TW: sickness, throwing up
Genre: Sickfic
A/N: Hii I’m Liza! I write SKZ fics…mostly sickfics because they’re my favorite thing ever. If you have any requests lmk <3
Tumblr media
You lay beside Hyunjin on your cozy bed in the early hours of the morning, he was still fast asleep which was unusual for him because he was an early bird. You were certain that he had rehearsals with the boys this morning but you shrugged it off thinking that perhaps you’d made a mistake.
Just then your cellophone chimed and when you saw who it was you smiled, it was Yunjin frantically telling you about her new solo song she was working on.
JEN: Y/n!! I finally finished my new song
YOU: OMG IM SO EXCITED TO HEAR IT??
JEN: yupp you should come over to the studio today to get a sneak peak, I’ll be with the girls except for Sakura because she has a photo shoot :)
YOU: I would LOVE to come over
JEN: Kazuha says she’s excited to see you and misses you xx
YOU: AWW omg wife tell her I’m omw
YOU: also um… c-can I bring…
JEN: UGH fine you can bring the boyfriend
JEN: Tell him he wins this time 🙄
YOU: YAY xx see you later
You turned to talk to your boyfriend but noticed that he was still asleep, his hair was stuck to his forehead a little with perspiration and you figured that was odd because it was still cold outside. You pressed a gentle hand to his forehead and felt the heat radiating off of him as he began to stir in his peaceful slumber. Your eyebrows immediately furrowed in concern.
“Jinnie, are you okay baby?” You wondered as his eyes fluttered open and he winced from the sunlight bleeding through the open window.
“Hmm, I’m fine it’s just hot today.” He told you, “what time is it?”
“It’s almost nine.” You answered honestly and his eyes widened in shock. “What?”
“I have rehearsals for the new album today, shit.” He cursed tossing off the covers, grabbing a towel and heading into the bathroom to take a shower, not even bothering to close the door. “Good morning by the way!”
“You’re so…” you chuckled to yourself. “I knew it.”
Just then his phone started going off with messages from the boys group chat rushing him. “Chan says you better hurry up!”
He took a while in the shower but you didn’t think much of it, he usually prioritized his skin care routine and perhaps he was shaving too. You poured at the thought of that last one, he usually asked you to help.
___
Afterwards the two of you had breakfast which consisted of fried eggs, toast and jam, he didn’t eat much which was odd so you tried feeding him a spoonful of scrambled eggs and he cringed.
“Damn, are my eggs that bad hm?” You asked slightly hurt.
“No I just, I have this headache that won’t go away and judging by my light sensitivity I’m guessing it’s another migraine.” He told you and you got up and took his medicine out from the cabinet. “I don’t know if I should take that yet it makes me sleepy and I have to dance.”
“Yeah maybe you’re right and you haven’t eaten much either so it might do more harm than good.” You pondered, “okay I’ll carry it just in case.”
“I’ll be fine don’t worry, it’ll go away.” He reassured you, he was always so good at doing that.
“I hope so.” You sighed, “by the way after practice we’re going over to HYBE to see Yunjin and the fimmies, she wants to show me her new solo song!”
“Yunjin hates me.” He complained with a pouty lip.
“She does not!” You argued with a chuckle, “you’re so dramatic babe.”
“She’s good at writing songs though.” He commented. “Love you twice has been on repeat in your car since.”
“I≠DOLL is way better.” I argued and he shook his head is disappointment. “Hey just because I’m an author doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about music.”
“You’re lucky I love you.” He hushed and you shoved his shoulder playfully.
___
Immediately after you got in the car and begun your dive to JYP, Hyunjin made you drive because he said he didn’t feel up to it yet. He leaned his head against the window and closed his eyes, you had to admit that you were growing undeniably worried about him.
Once you arrived at the company you greeted the boys and sat in the corner with your laptop working while they had dance practice. Hyunjin kept lagging behind which was very unlike him and the choreographer was getting frustrated with him as well as his members.
“What’s gotten into you today?” Lee know asked placing a hand on his shoulder, Hyunjin wiped sweat from his forehead looking beyond exhausted.
“Yeah are You okay, you don’t look so good…” Jeongin asked and as Hyunjin’s gaze met yours across the room he shook his head ‘no’ in refusal. “Oh.”
“If you weren’t feeling well you never should’ve come Hyunjin-ah, your health is our top priority you shouldn’t push yourself so much.” Chan asked of him shaking his head. “Go home and rest okay?”
“Yeah, feel better hyung.” Seungmin agreed with a gentle smile.
“Okay, I’m sorry again.” Hyunjin apologized as Felix handed him a towel and a bottle of water. “I’ll go…home after Y/n and I go to HYBE.”
“Alright.” Chan nodded.
Hyunjin immediately approached you and sat down next to you, you shook your head in concern. “We don’t have to go…”
“But you’re so excited to see the girls, it’s fine we can go.” He assured you, “I’ll be fine promise.”
“Promise?” You clarified.
“Yeah, let me Just get changed.” He affirmed. “I’ll take the medicine now I think.”
“Okay,” you agreed handing him the a bottle of water and a two pills which he took gladly. “Let me know if you start feeling worse, we’ll go home.”
“Okay.” He agreed. “My stomach feels a little off though, God I hate having migraines because it always makes me feel like this.”
“I’m sorry baby.” You hushed. “It’s probably because you’ve taken the medication on an empty stomach.”
“Yeah probably, it just feels off like my breakfast is moving around.” He told you. “Let’s just go, it’ll be fine.”
“Okay.”
__
By the time you arrived at HYBE the fimmies we’re waiting for you in the studio, you hugged them all and Hyunjin said did so as well, having been well acquainted with them since they were such close friends of yours.
You put on the headphones Yunjin gave you as Hyunjin sat down in the corner talking to Chaewon about one thing or the other.
“Watch him for me Chae.” You asked her in secret, “he isn’t feeling well today but he’s being stubborn so just let me know if anything comes up.”
“Aww really? Shame. I’ll be sure to do so, I’ve got him don’t worry.” She assured you giving you a side hug.
As you listened to Yunjin’s new song you were still amazed at how incredibly talented your friend was, how she was able to write such amazing songs.
“This is amazing!” You complimented her and she smiled.
“You mean it?” She lit up, “I was so uncertain about it.”
“No I mean it you did well.” You comforted.
Just then Chaewon tapped your shoulder and she had a worried look on her face,
“What is it Chae?” You asked her taking off your headphones. “Is it Hyunjin?”
“Yeah he said he’s really not feeling well.” She told you, “you can go home you know? We love you for coming but it’s okay!”
“Yeah Y/n it means so much to me that you showed up despite everything.” Yunjin thanked you.
“Of course I had lots of fun, let me go check on him.” You told them and made your way over to the couch Where Hyunjin was seated, his skin was pale and his hair stuck to his forehead. “Hi baby, you okay?”
“No I feel nauseous my head is killing me, I don’t feel good.” He told you, tears collecting in his eyes. “I’m sorry I’m ruining your day.”
“No you’re not love don’t talk like that,” you attempted to comfort him, “lean your head on my shoulder it’ll make you feel better just close your eyes. “Chae is driving the car closer to the entrance so you don’t have to walk far.”
“Mmm.” He sighed leaning against you and placing a hand over his stomach.
“Migraines are the worst, I’m sorry.” Yunjin apologized. “Feel better Yeah?”
But Hyunjin was so out of it he could barely hear her, he burried his face into your neck and said, “I feel like I’m going to throw up.”
“Shhh, don’t worry you won’t.” You attempted to calm him down but you could hear his stomach doing flips and knew.
“The nearest bathroom is two floors down and the elevator isn’t working today.” Kazuha warned.
“Shit.” You cursed just as Hyunjin gagged and covered his mouth, he shut his eyes as vomit began to deep through his fingers. “Is there a trash can?”
“No I’m sorry!” Yunjin apologized but tossed a towel onto the floor to at least attempt to do the cleaners a favor for what was inevitably happening. “There.”
“He can just throw up there’s no time.” Kazuha told you.
“Just let It Go Hyunjin it’s fine baby, you’ll feel better afterwards.” You comforted him as he let go of his mouth and gagged once more as a thick stream of vomit splattered onto the floor despite the towel. “I’m sorry baby.”
“Y/n…” He groaned and held your hand as he started throwing up again, his watery breakfast making an appearance in front of you as Chaewon arrived with a trash can and stepped back as to not get any on her shoes. He coughed as you put the trash can under his chin and he continued throwing up bile.
“Shhh you’re okay.” You hushed.
“I’ll call the cleaners.” Kazuha volunteered leaving the room.
“I’ll call Chan and tell him you can’t make practice tomorrow too.” You told Hyunjin as he nodded silently, saliva dripping from his mouth and vomit through his nose. “You’ll be okay.”
After the whole ordeal at hybe you and Hyunjin went home and you helped him take a shower before settling into bed, he fell asleep fast and you held him close to you. “Sleep well angel.” You hushed. And he did just that.

Second Chance at Love
Here is the first of hopefully many parts to this story. I hope whoever finds this likes it. If you find any major grammar or spelling errors, please let me know. The starting time for this story is January 2024. Story is based on Matthew Lillard the person, not any of his characters.
Tumblr media
Part 1
In the back parking lot of Reach for the Barres Dance Studio in Glendale, on a gray January afternoon, sat a blue 2018 Audi Q3 with the windows cracked.  You, a 42-year-old woman with shoulder length purple hair, were reading a stack of papers that said Untitled Ari Aster Project on the front page.  You were so focused on what you were reading that you didn’t realize that parents and kids were leaving the studio until your back passengers door opened and your 8-year-old daughter climbed in.
“Hey mommy!  How’s the script?”  The brown-haired, blue-eyed girl asked as she tossed her dance bag into the seat next to her and buckled in.
“Hey baby!  It’s good but I don’t think it’s for me.  How was dance?”  You closed the script and put it under your purse in the passenger’s seat.
“It was good but Mrs. Laura said she needed to talk to you.”  There was a light knock on the driver’s window.  “See.”
“Hey Stacy!”  Laura said as she waved.
You rolled down the window and gave Laura your typical meet and greet smile.  “Hi Laura.  What can I help you with?”
I was hoping we could plan a playdate for our girls soon.  Anna hates that she and Violet don’t go to the same school and was hoping she could come over to your place to play with her.  Us moms can sit around and gossip.  Just some good girl time.”
The desire for approval in Laura’s eyes softened you a little.  You gave a genuine smile and said, “Let me talk to my assistant and look at our schedules and I’ll text you.”  Laura’s smile widened.  “We’ve got to hit the road, though.  I’ve got to get dinner in this kiddo then I’ve got studio time booked and I hate to be late to that.”
“Totally understand.”  Laura waved as you rolled up the window and put the car in reverse.
As the pair of you pulled out of the parking lot, Violet said, “You were in the studio while I was at school today.  Were you fibbing to Mrs. Laura?”  You looked in the rearview mirror to lock eyes with your child and held your finger up to your mouth in a shush motion.  Violet giggled.  “Oh mommy!  You’re silly.”  You shrugged your shoulders while you gave Violet a wink.  “Remember to go to the gas station.  You told me to remind you.”
“Yes ma’am.  Thank you sweetheart.”  You nod.  “There is one at the next light.  I’ll stop there.”  You pull into the tiny Shell station containing only one pump with a silver 2020 Buick Envision taking up one side of the pump.  You roll the back driver’s window down then turn off your car to get out to start pumping gas.  You were chitchatting with your daughter through the window while the tank filled when you began to feel eyes on you.  You try to ignore it as most fans will just take a picture and then move on, but then you can tell that someone has moved to the front of your car.  You closed your eyes and take a deep breath hoping the person will get the hint and go back to their car.
“Excuse me.”  You hear a man clear his throat.  Your heart begins to race as a million bad scenarios rush through your mind.  “I’m sorry to bother you.”  You give Violet a look that tells her to be quiet and still.  “Stacy?  Stacy Davis?”  You do a small nod and turn to the person speaking while you place your back against the rear driver’s door in a small attempt to block your daughter from view.
As your eyes go up from the man’s feet to his face your entire body softens.  You let out a small laugh as you step forward.  “Matthew Lillard.  What are the chances?”  You walk over to him to give the typical celebrity hug that you all seem to come into the business knowing.  Matthew’s hug was different.  It was real.  There was warmth to it that made your heart skip a beat.
“I’m so sorry to bother you when you are with your daughter, but I heard you talking and instantly recognized the voice.  I couldn’t let this opportunity pass.”  Matthew gave a genuine smile as he pushed his glasses up back into place on the bridge of his nose.
You waved him over to the open car window.  “Violet, I want you to meet Mr. Matthew Lillard.  He is Shaggy in the live Scooby Doo movies.”  Violet’s eyes lit up.  You looked over at Matthew.  “She loves everything Scooby.”  You smile at your daughter’s excitement.
Matthew poked his head through the window, smiling at Violet when you hear his Shaggy voice.  “Violet, like, that is my FAVORITE name!  Zoinks!”
Violet giggled as her cheeks turned a lovely shade of red.  “Thank you Mr. Matthew.”  She turns to look at you.  “Mommy, can I unbuckle and give Mr. Matthew a hug?”
“Of course sweetheart.  I’ll even take a picture.”
You pull your phone out of your back pocket to snap a quick picture.  Matthew picks Sara up and places her on his hip the same way you used to when she was younger and lighter.  Violet beamed while looking at you saying “Cheese.”
“You don’t have to call me Mr. Matthew.  Matt is just fine.”  He says as he helps your daughter back into the car.
Violet shakes her head.  “Mommy said since the divorce, every guy is Mr. No exceptions, until she marries them.”
Your cheeks turned a bright red.  “That was for any guy I date.  Not every guy we meet.  Lordy child!”  You bite your lip as you look up at Matthew.  “Sorry about that.”
Matthew gives you a big smile as he touches your arm.  “No worries.  I think it’s a great rule.”  You giggle nervously.  “So, you think you could send me that picture?”  You nod and open up a new text.  You type in his number as he gives you the digits then attach the picture and hit send.  You hear his phone ding.  “It was nice to meet you, Stacy.  I’m a huge fan.”
“I’m a big fan of yours as well.  Five Nights at Freddy’s was great.  And it was so nice to meet you too.”  You take the gas nozzle and place it back on the pump.  “We probably need to get out of here, though.”
Matthew reached out to give you another hug then opened your car door for you.  “You ladies have a good rest of your evening.”
You wave and nod, then close your car door and crank your engine.  You let out a little sigh, turn the radio on and say to Violet over your shoulder, “Let’s get home.”  You pulled out of the gas station and start making your way to Encino.

More Marvel prompts! Most are about Bucky, but a couple are about Zemo. Pls tag me if these inspire you to write something, I’d love to read it! 💜
1. You and your husband Bucky are in a crowded mall with your very young daughter. She sees a person selling balloon animals and asks, more like begs for one, but you and Bucky tell her no. At some point she lets go of your hand and sneaks off to look for the balloon seller, but gets lost. You both realize she’s gone and panic, searching everywhere for her. Meanwhile she wanders around and cries for her mom and dad, running away from any unfamiliar face that tries to help her because she knows Stranger Danger. Uncle Steve to the rescue maybe? (Note: Turns out it’s free balloon day)
2. Rockstar AU: You’re taking yours and Bucky’s kid to their first concert. Despite the protective headphones you put on them, the loud aggressive noises scares your kid and halfway through a song, they run out on stage and latch onto Bucky’s leg, crying for their dad. Bucky has to comfort and cheer them up with the help of the band in front of a huge crowd.
3. Rockstar AU: You get a new lip/tongue piercing and the guys see it for the first time when you go to the studio. They all think it looks great, except Bucky. He acts like he disapproves at first, but the other guys come to your defense and in private he eventually admits he loves it and never disapproved, it’s just too sexy for him to resist and he could hardly restrain himself in front of his band mates. He wants to know what it’d feel like against his mouth and other parts of his body 😏
4. Possible Mob/Mafia AU: You’re participating in a very important and much anticipated dance competition and your dad, Bucky, promised to be there to support you. Despite his very busy schedule, he’s never missed a recital. But then one of the other girls is very jealous of you and tries to sabotage you while in the middle of your performance, and you get badly hurt from falling objects or marbles, etc. Bucky sees red as he rushes from the audience and up to the stage to help you, despite protests from the judges and other dancers. Steve and his other men have to stop him from doing something hasty that he’d regret later.
6. Rockstar AU: Going on tour with Bucky and standing side stage/in the front row during a concert. The crowd gets too rowdy and someone throws a glass bottle that hits you in the head and you pass out. The band becomes enraged and are by your side when you wake up in the hospital.
7. Bucky takes you out to dinner at a quiet restaurant to celebrate your engagement/anniversary. you share a big plate of spaghetti and unknowingly share the same noodle until your lips meet, lady and the tramp style.
8. Possible CEO or Mob/Mafia AU: Bucky or Zemo accidentally run into you while on his way to a meeting he's late for, causing papers and other important things to fly everywhere and get mixed up. Both of you are in too much of a hurry to realize that in the hassle, he picked up your phone and you picked up his by mistake. By the time you have each other’s phone, you’re too far away from each other to switch back since he’s already boarded a plane for a business trip.
Tumblr media
9. Scream/Ghostface AU where it’s college and you’re in a poly relationship with Bucky and Zemo who are fairly popular guys on campus (Zemo’s the new exchange student from Sokovia so everyone is interested in him and his country, and Bucky is classic charming ‘womanizer’ Bucky). They’re the ones behind the ghostface murders, whether you know it or not. Bullies and local assholes keep giving you shit for dating two men at once, calling you a whore or slut, asking for sexual favors like threesomes, “since you must be a pro at it with your boyfriends”, “Do they do kinky shit in Sokovia too?” etc. Those same bullies who harass you keep winding up dead sooner or later. While you may be a suspect for a time, you get ruled out when it’s eventually determined “only a man could do something like this” based on the condition of the bodies.
10. Mob boss AU: Bucky is your new boyfriend and he helps you wreck your ex's car, among other things. (Maybe you and Bucky have sex both inside and on the hood of your boyfriend’s car as a show of dominance so that it’ll just reek of your sex smells. Sweet revenge. You and Bucky want to rub it in his face that you’ve found a new man who’s bigger and better.
11. You’re dating Bucky and he’s trying to coax you back into his car after a bad argument. Like that scene from legally blonde except he isn’t a total jerk and he doesn’t break up with you.
12. You and Bucky putting up the Christmas tree and decorating it. He’s on one side trying to reach a part of the tree when he accidentally underestimated the strength of his vibranium arm and pushes it a little too hard while trying to hang up an ornament/the star, causing it to fall on top of you while you're on the other side. Whoops.
13. You’re in a relationship with Bucky and going to the beach with the guys. You can't swim, so you choose to stay on shore. One of the guys throws you into the water as a joke, but you get pulled under and don't resurface right away, making all of them panic. Bucky has to dive in and save you by giving you CPR and then taking you to hospital to make sure there’s no other damage.
14. Rockstar AU: Imagine being newly engaged to Bucky and walking around after a show with the band. A woman who’s been stalking him for months looks at you in envy, blaming you for Bucky not answering her love letters or phone calls. she pulls out a gun and is about to shoot him, but you jump in front of him and take the bullet instead.
15. You think your husband, Bucky/Zemo, is dead after watching a news report state the plane he was supposed to be on crashed with no survivors. You break down, destroying and throwing things. Bucky/Zemo walks through the door but you think he’s a hallucination, so he comforts you and explains what happened. (Could be a false broadcast)
16. You’re Bucky’s teen daughter and he gets a new girlfriend. You hate each other, but Bucky doesn't know. She’s a good manipulator, making up lies about you and blaming you for things you didn't say or do. She causes a rift between you and your dad. Bucky just thinks you don’t want him to be happy, that you’re afraid of letting another woman in after your mom died and are just being a stubborn teen who doesn’t like change. It just gets worse and worse until you overhear her telling Bucky he should disown/emancipate you or ship you off to boarding school after they marry, and you run out of the house/take his car and leave. He finally breaks up with her and worriedly chases after you. (Either on foot or on his motorcycle, depending on if you can drive or not)
Tumblr media
17. Rockstar AU: Reader is Bucky’s best girl and is on tour with him and his band, who consist of your best friends. You make a stop and since the band is mostly drunk/hungover/passed out from the long road trip, you and the designated driver kick them out of the gas station before they make a scene. You offer to get some snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and other supplies. The trouble is, they’re so out of it and because of a simple mistake by the designated driver, there’s a mix up. So they think you got back on the bus when you didn’t and accidentally drive off with the things you bought, and without you. Like a Home Alone head count gone wrong situation. They don’t realize their mistake until the next morning when Bucky wakes up and you’re not in his bunk. Now they have to rush to get you back, even if it delays their tour. Screw the tour, screw what their manager may say, you’re more important to Bucky and your best friends.
18. Reader and Bucky in a sort of Mr. Freeze and Nora AU. Reader is Bucky’s wife, but she was dying from some rare disease so he agreed to this experimental procedure that would allow her to be cryogenically frozen until he could return from the war and start looking for a cure with the help of others like Howard Stark. Your husband stared deeply into your eyes before sealing the cryo-pod that would keep you alive into the future, hoping for a cure. Only he didn’t expect he’d never make it back from the war or back to you. Now it’s present day, Bucky has escaped Hydra and been unfrozen for some time, but it’s only recently your cryo pod has resurfaced and been found. For over 70 years you’ve slept, and he thought you were lost forever. Has a cure been found? Is it time to finally wake up? Many, many years later, will you finally wake up with your husband being the first thing you see, just as he promised he would be before you went under?
19. The Last Man and Woman on the Planet AU: The cryo chambers open up, you and Bucky are starting to wake up, and slowly figuring out what happened. Upon recognizing each other, you quickly embrace, relieved you’re both alive, before taking in your unfamiliar surroundings. Neither of you remember falling asleep here. How long have either of you slept? An ethereal voice starts talking to both of you. "If you are listening to this, welcome to Eden, where we start anew and are not making the same mistakes ever again.” Are you and Bucky truly the sole survivors of a new world? Where do you go from here?
21. Stardust AU where reader is a star who falls from the sky, causing her to be separated from her family and taking human form. She’s found by Bucky who could either be a peasant boy, a shopkeeper’s son looking to use reader to woo another woman in the village. Or Bucky is a witch tracking and hunting reader after she keeps escaping from him and thwarting his murder attempts. He wants to cut out her heart for eternal youth but then maybe decides to keep her alive and get what he wants some other way. Or he could be a cruel prince in search of a magic stone so he can be king. Could be dark or not, up to you.
22. Bucky is reader’s father. When you’re a kid, he’s being a cute dad by arm wrestling with you and letting you win, pretending you’re so strong. After wrestling with his flesh arm and “winning” multiple times, you grow confident and are like “Other arm, daddy!” Bucky messes with you by not moving his vibranium arm an inch and pretending to yawn while you huff and puff, using all your might to pin him. He then pretends to let you win again to make you, his precious baby, happy. Until one day you become an adult. You’ve grown so super-strong from years of training mixed with effects of the super soldier serum getting passed down from Bucky and running through your veins that when you ask for a rematch for old times sake and tell him not to hold back, you manage to win. He gives you a “Wait WHAT o_O” bewildered look similar to when Spider-Man grabbed his left arm or when the Dora Milaje disconnected his arm mid-combat.
23. Silence of the Lambs AU where reader takes the place of Clarice Starling and Zemo takes the place of Hannibal Lecter. You’ve come to visit him in prison for an interview.
24. Reader is Zemo’s wife and has a conjugal visit with him while he’s in custody. Aka imagine having sex with Zemo in that glass cell and not caring who sees.

Tumblr media
Vibing up the suitcase, Hyejin sighed deeply as she stared at the black luggage. Six months was finished and she would be returning to Seoul, returning back to the group.
"You don't have to go back,"
Her uncle was standing at her door, arms crossed over his chest. He was the person who had showed her music in the first place and set her on this road.
"What?" Hyejin turned and looked at him, brows furrowed together.
"You don't have to go back, Hyejin," He explained, "Not if it's too much, You have the makings to be a solo rapper if you really wanted,"
"I..,"
She pursed her lips, shaking her head softly. Going solo and leaving the group? Before SM she had offerings from hip hop labels but it wasn't what she wanted.
"I don't want to be solo," Hyejin stated, "My group is my family, we're really close and I love them all, I don't think I could do it without them,"
Her Uncle nodded, "You do connect with people in a way that I'll never understand,"
The walls of SM looked the same, white walls that were devoid of colour and the clean office smell that reminded her of school. Hyejin kept her head down, a bucket hat partly hiding her face.
Ari had picked her up from the airport, the managed walking beside her and looking at her phone with a serious face. If being an idol was hard, Hyejin never wanted to be a manager.
"You didn't tell them, right?" Hyejin asked softly.
"Nope," Ari stated, "I told them I had another schedule to help out with,"
Hyejin nodded slowly before Ari stopped, looking at her, "You're nervous,"
"Of course I'm nervous," Hyejin looked at her, "I haven't been here for six months and I didn't tell them I'm coming back today-"
"Calm down," Ari's voice was firm and grounded her, "They are going to love having you back, they missed you more than anything in this world, Hyejin,"
Smiling softly, Hyejin could only nod. They continued their walk to the dance studio, her heart skipping a beat as she saw the familiar boys are working on a dance routine.
Ari opened the door and Hyejin slipped inside, keeping to the wall. No one noticed at first, the seven boys moving in union. Hyejin smiled as she watched them, she liked watching dance practices and seeing their work as a unit.
Hyejin froze when Jisung turned her direction, looking at her for a moment before continuing. Her stopped again, looking in her direction with wide eyes. Hyejin gasped as Jeno crashed into the back of him, both boys falling to the floor.
The practice stopped, the other five looking down at Jisung and Jeno.
"Why did you stop?" Jeno snapped.
"Hyejin!" Jisung screamed and pointed, "Hyejin!"
All eyes turned towards her and Hyejin waved softly, playing with the sleeves on her sweater.
The person to hit her was Haechan, his arms wrapping around her tightly and squeezing. She almost couldn't breath, squirming slightly in his grip.
"Don't kill her the moment she gets back!" Jaemin was behind him, trying to pry him off, "Let us see her!"
"No!" Haechan whined, "You all steal her!"
"Hyejinnie!" Chenle's screech made a few people flinch and a pair of arms was now wrapped around her legs, finding her best friend there.
Jisung had joined Jaemin in trying to pry Haechan's arms from off Hyejin's small body, while Renjun laughed from beside them. She looked at him for help.
"Okay, let go of her before she turns blue," Renjun laughed softly.
Haechan didn't look happy as he reluctantly let go of her body, Hyejin gasping for air as Chenle linked hands with her own. Jaemin was grabbing her other hand, a large smile on his face.
"Are you back? For good?"
Looking towards the voice, Hyejin found Jeno and Mark standing a bit off to the side. Nerves twisted in her stomach as she slowly nodded.
"I'm back," Hyejin explained, "My hiatus is over, I'll be in the next comeback,"
"Jeno thought you'd never comeback," Jaemin stated boldly.
Jeno glared at him, "Don't tell her that!"
Her eyes connected with Mark's, who gave her a softly smile as he leaned against the wall. He decided it was best to let the others soak up the excitement.
"I'm glad your back, Hyejin," Mark whispered.
"Do the hyungs know your back?" Haechan asked.
Hyejin shook her head, "I came here first-"
An excited smile spread across Haechan and Jaemin's faces.
"Don't tell them!" Haechan grinned, "This is going to be so much fun..,"

Dad!Ateez:Holding Their Little One for the First Time
A/N:I didn’t think I'd be able to write this one as there are only so many ways to write this topic but somehow we made it work. Gonna be tagging the moots on this one because if I'm gonna give myself baby fever you're all coming down with me. other than that enjoy :) Warnings:mentions of preemie/nicu baby, mentions of pregnancy complications, suggestions of miscarriage, depictions of surrogate pregnancy, covid birth, mentions of delivery absence, mentions of first-time parent fears
Kim Hongjoong
Tumblr media
None of you had been able to properly hold your baby girl since she was born 2 months earlier than expected. The only embrace she had ever felt was that of the nurse’s arms and the incubator she resided in until now. During one of your visits to see her you were surprised with the news that she could finally come home. You were beyond ecstatic and you knew Hongjoong would be too. Knowing he was currently working on Ateez’s newest album in his studio you decided to pay him a surprise visit. You snuck through the hallways of KQ making sure none of the other guys could see you two before Hongjoong. Quietly you opened the door, sneaking into the studio as he was listening to a demo on his headphones. You gently set the carrier holding your sleeping daughter onto one of the extra chairs before covering his eyes. Hongjoong jumped slightly at the sudden intrusion before relaxing instantly as he heard your giggles as he took his headphones off. “Gee I wonder who it could be,” he teased before reaching back to poke your sides causing you to squirm.
“Ya,” you squealed, causing a certain someone to stir, catching Hongjoongs attention.
“Who’s that?’ Hongjoong asked, curiosity sparking his attention.
“A little someone you’ve been dying to meet,” Y/N replied, turning Hongjoong’s chair to face his daughter.
“Soojinnie” he gasped as he saw her stretch.
Y/N watched as he sniffled, wiping his tears with his sleeves. She smiled softly as he watched him gently rock her carrier, quelling her soft whines before opening her eyes and taking in her new surroundings. Hongjoong couldn’t help but watch in awe and neither could Y/N both their hearts feeling warm and full. “Wanna hold her?’ Y/N asked. Hongjoong straightened in his chair smiling as he nodded softly taking a deep breath. He attempted to take her out of the carrier struggling due to his nerves making his hands shaky. With the help of Y/N he was able to take her out and hold her close to his chest causing a tear to fall as the pain and yearning he had been feeling and pushing away finally came out. Almost as if in response to comfort him baby Soojin held onto his finger squeezing onto it causing him to chuckle softly. “I know princess, I know. I’m glad you're home too, Soo,” he smiled, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
Park Seonghwa
Tumblr media
Seonghwa had rushed from dance practice the moment he caught wind that your water had broken and despite having one of the busiest schedules he’s had throughout his whole career he still managed to have all the energy in the world as excitement and adrenaline fueled him. The moment he heard your son’s first wails though everything seemed to change. His excitement was traded for pure adoration as he watched your son cling to you as the nurses cut the umbilical cord. Without a second thought, Seonghwa placed a gentle hand on your son’s back right next to yours which held his head. Despite his gloves in the way, the boy seemed to silence his wails slowly but surely as he realized now both of his parents were near. Seonghwa watched with a pout on his face as he watched the nurses take him to get him cleaned up. Although he knew they were only doing their job Seonghwa couldn’t help but feel a pang in his chest as he heard his son whine at the feeling of his first bath. All he wanted to do was hold his son and shield him from any dangers the world might bring. Eventually, their son was brought back and they were offered their son.  Seonghwa watched in awe as Y/N fed and nursed little Minseok. Everything seemed to be perfect until he started to whine. He had already been fed, burped, and had a fresh diaper, this led the couple to be puzzled by what the newborn could want. “Hey what’s wrong Minnie?” Seonghwa cooed, causing the boy to lean towards him.  It wasn’t until Seonghwa spoke up that they realized what the small boy had been missing, his father. It was like a lightbulb lit up over his head. “You want appa to hold you?” he asked, causing the infant to reply with a small whine.
“I think he does,” Y/N giggled.
“Come to appa, little one,” he groaned softly as he took the little one from his wife’s arms.
He gently rocked the little one until all but his quiet snores could be heard. Y/N watched as tears threatened to spill from Seonghwa’s eyes and she couldn’t help but feel her heart grow three times in size. “Are you crying Hwa?” she teased as she heard his sniffles.
“No,” he said sternly before chuckling softly as he choked on the lump forming in his throat, “Okay maybe,” he sighed happily as he gave his signature smile.
Jeong Yunho
Tumblr media
The day was finally here, the day your and Yunho’s miracle baby would be born. Despite him being upset about missing most of your pregnancy due to touring Yunho was glad that you waited until he was back for you to tell him as he didn’t know how he would have survived the whole nine months waiting for your little princess to be born. In fact, he had even rushed from Incheon Airport to Seoul in order to be by your side as you gave birth. You were surprised to be giving birth a week earlier than expected but the two of you remained calm nevertheless praying for a positive outcome. Luckily everything went by with flying colors and no complications whatsoever. It wasn’t long until you had your daughter in your arms. Of course, tears were shed on both sides. For the most part, Yunho let her stick to you as you were instructed by the nurses on the billions of things that had to be accomplished in order to care for a newborn. It wasn’t until both you and your daughter were resting that he’d get a chance. Despite the severe jet lag noted by the bags forming under his eyes, Yunho was up on wide alert like a guard dog keeping an eye on both of you. Soon enough your daughter Hyoyeon began to stir, signaling something was wrong. Not wanting to wake you Yunho quietly got up to assess the problem concluding it was time for a diaper change. He swiftly changed her diaper, tossing the old one as he finished.
He sighed happily as she had kept a grip on his finger as he tried to go back to his seat. In a change of heart, he gently picked up the little one from her basket before making his way to his bed while they were staying here. As soon as his back hit the small mattress he settled his daughter on his chest feeling her tiny heartbeat against his own and suddenly he felt whole. He kept her close as he softly sang, “Looking for star. Looking for love, 어떤 슬픔도 올 수 없게 언제까지나 그댈 지켜줄 거예요 Forever you are my star.” Before he knew it both he and his daughter shared a yawn. Yunho couldn’t tell if it was the jet lag catching up to him or the sound of her small snores that was making him sleepy, maybe it was a combination of both. Either way, it wasn’t long till the two succumbed to their slumber. Yunho was awoken by her stirring and he quickly awoke to calm her. Much to his surprise, his wife was also awake filming the pair's interaction. “I can already tell she’s gonna love you Yuyu,” Y/N said as she set her phone down.
“I just hope it as much as I love the both of you,” he smiled before setting your now sleeping daughter gently back in her basket, “Our little star,” he cooed brushing some hair out of her face.
Kang Yeosang
Tumblr media
From the moment you told him you were pregnant, Yeosang wanted to film everything. For the most part, he was able to have his wish granted. The only thing he missed was your pregnancy as due to complications early on determined that your body wouldn't be able to fulfill a full and healthy pregnancy without compromising you or the baby. Luckily you were able to switch to surrogate pregnancy with no complications thanks to the help of your sister. The only problem was due to the current state of the world neither you nor Yeosang would be able to see or hold her until the day after her birth. Once you got the okay though you both wasted little to no time to arrive and see your baby girl. The two of you arrived breathless from rushing to only be instantly enamored the moment you saw her in your sister’s arms. You gasped softly holding a hand over your mask as your sister couldn’t help but giggle at your reaction as she had reacted the same when she had her own child. She urged you to come closer, gently handing her over as you did. Yeosang couldn’t help but watch you in awe as you were able to instantly calm the hyper newborn. A little coo could be heard slipping from your daughter’s lips as she took in the two new figures above her who were her parents. Y/N sat on the visitor’s couch smiling warmly before looking up at Yeosang who sat next to her. “She’s perfect Yeo,” you sniffled as Yeo smiled.
“Our little Eun-Byeol,” he replied.
“As much as I wanna hog her and keep her to myself, do you wanna hold her?” you asked.
“I’d like that,” he smiled.
Both you and your sister helped in instructing Yeosang on how to hold the little one. As soon as your daughter settled in his arms Yeosang could only feel his heart swell along with his eyes with tears of happiness. The crack in the dam was caused by her gummy grin caused by him introducing himself to her and that cued in the waterworks. He sniffled as his tears fell onto his mask as he smiled giving small chuckles. Catching him off guard he was surprised to see his brother-in-law filming the both of you causing him to look up as he attempted to hold back his tears. “How are you feeling Yeo?” your sister asked him.
“Beyond happy, I just wish I could take her home,” he said looking at his daughter’s eyes which resembled yours.
“We will soon don’t worry,” Y/N smiled warmly as she rubbed his arm in an attempt to comfort him.
Choi San
Tumblr media
Unfortunately due to poor weather and scheduling, San wouldn't be able to be there for the birth of your daughter but that didn’t deter his excitement to her any less. When he heard you were finally coming back home with your daughter Yuri in tow he couldn’t help but jump with joy and excitement despite their current jumping ban. All throughout rehearsals, you two were all he could think about keeping him distracted. Eventually after realizing there was no way of calming him until you got here they decided to call a break. San quickly ran to his phone to call you but when the call went straight to voicemail he began to panic. Just as he was about to grab his things to leave, a soft knock was heard on the door of the practice room catching all the boys' attention. Hongjoong stood to open the door revealing it to be you holding a baby car seat and diaper bag. San immediately jumped up and ran towards you Hongjoong taking your bag and the car seat before San could make any impact which threw you slightly back to the point where you think you would have fallen were it not for San holding onto you with the strength of Hercules. He kissed you passionately before resting his forehead against yours to catch his breath causing you to blush. You cleared your thoughts as you remembered the reason for coming in the first place. “As much as I’m enjoying this reunion love, there's someone you should meet,” Y/N said before reaching down to grab your daughter from her seat, “Meet Yuri.”
San gasped in awe as he gently took the infant into his arms watching her eyes open after rubbing them gently with her mitten-covered hands. The curious gazes of the boys surrounded the trio during their interaction as San introduced himself. He watched in awe as she cooed with curiosity watching her father who she had only heard through the phone up until now. The baby then turned to face her mother in confusion causing San to pout slightly at the lack of her attention. In an attempt to win her over he began to sing the nursery rhyme that he would sing to her ever since she was in her mother’s stomach. Almost instantly recognizing the little tune the little girl turned back towards her father giving him a small smile as she squealed in enjoyment. San had to stop himself from freezing with excitement at her reaction. Instead, he quickly turned towards his members with a cheeky grin on his face. “You guys heard that right?! That means I’m her favorite,” he stated excitedly causing the other members and you to chuckle relieved that he was able to adapt so quickly.
Song Mingi
Tumblr media
Mingi had almost forgotten what he was panicking for as he ran back and forth from your room to the car until he saw you holding onto a dining room chair as your next contraction hit. Just as expected but also unexpected the twins were arriving before the nine months were up. As soon as the waves of pain passed Mingi helped you into the car rushing you both to the hospital. Before you knew it both your little ones had arrived. Excited to meet your newborns he didn’t question the nurse’s instructions to remove his shirt in order to hold his twins. Not only were you both meeting them for the first time but you were also finding out the genders as well as you had decided to keep it a surprise. Much to both of your surprise you had given birth to a healthy baby boy named Daewon followed five minutes later by a healthy baby girl named Chaewon. You were handed your girl while he was handed your boy. All noise seemed to diminish as soon as both babies made contact with their designated parents. Mingi watched in awe as he watched his son nuzzle into his shoulder. Eventually, it was time to switch twins and Mingi watched as the nurse handed him his little girl. Before the nurse could take his boy over to his mother though he stopped her. “Wait just let me have this moment,” he pleaded, “I feel like a super dad right now,” he claimed, causing Y/N and the midwife to giggle at his antics.
“And that you are love, that you are,” you smiled warmly admiring your biggest blessing holding your two newest blessings.
“You should try it too babe,” he said, letting the nurse bring your son over as adjusted your daughter on his shoulder.
He carefully supported your daughter as she moved to position herself to her liking most likely mimicking her position in the womb as she had tucked her legs between his chest and hers. Mingi looked down to see his little girl smiling and his heart instantly melted as he sniffled tears threatening to spill. “Are you crying?” Y/N teased as they had made a bet on who would be the first to cry.
“No I’m fine,” he retorted as he turned to you, putting on the tough guy act.
“You know it’s okay right babe?” you asked.
“Yes,” he sniffled, “But I'm also not losing $50 to you either. Nice try though,” he chuckled as he felt a lump form in his throat.
He gently brushed some hair out of your daughter’s face as she cooed softly, reacting to his touch, “It’s official I’m never gonna get over this.”
Jung Wooyoung
Tumblr media
Wooyoung had been waiting patiently to hold your son but knew it would be a while before he could due to your c-section. Despite him being awake and by your side the entire time during your labor, he was still somehow wide awake as you slept with just the thought of holding your son fueling him. It wouldn't be until a couple of hours later when his head began to bob slightly as slumber began to take over that he saw them wheel Youngjae in. Despite his previous sleepy state he immediately jumped up at the sight of his son. As the nurse noticed your sleeping state she offered the first diaper change to Wooyoung which he gladly accepted. He followed the nurse’s instructions as gently and carefully as he could, not wanting to hurt him in the process. As soon as he finished he asked the nurse if it was okay to hold his son. When the nurse nodded he felt his heart begin to race. He let the nurse guide his hands and arms as she placed the little bundle of joy into his arms. Once fully in his arms, Wooyoung felt his tense shoulders drop softly. His usual high and antic energy was replaced by adoring tranquility that would make his hyungs poke fun at him as they speculated if it was really him or not. Just like any parent, the first moment he held his child was the one he fell in love with. No matter how many times he tried to wrap his mind around it he couldn’t put together the words to describe the amount of joy and fulfillment he currently felt.
He gently rocked your son as he paced around the hospital room, occasionally stopping by the window to let both him and Youngjae look at the stars and moon that seemed to shine just a little more tonight. At this moment there was nothing else except for the three of you together in your little bubble. He was so entranced that he hadn’t noticed that you woke up. As you sat up you were relieved to find your baby’s basket in the room but even more so when you saw him in Wooyoung's arms as he leaned against the wall singing little nursery rhymes. You kept quiet until you heard him say, “Da-da. I’m your dada, da-da.” The action causes you to giggle, catching his attention.
“What?” he asked, confused.
“You know he can’t speak yet right Woo?” you teased an eyebrow raised.
“I know that,” he playfully scoffed, “But it’s never too early to start training them to say it first,” he revealed proudly.
“We’ll see about that,” you giggled.
Choi Jongho
Tumblr media
Although Jongho was excited about meeting his son he was also extremely terrified as much as he hated to admit it. In fact, just the fear of caring for a whole nother human being was beginning to eat him up inside. He began to let others comment about him being “too young” and “too inexperienced” to be a father get to him. So much so that when Mingi told him you were going into an emergency delivery after going into labor at work he panicked and froze in place. Noting the maknae’s recent anxiety and nervousness Mingi helped Jongho to the hospital making it just in time to be by your side for the birth of your child and Mingi stayed for emotional support more so for Jongho than you as you seemed to be in a much calmer state probably thanks to the epidural you had. When it came to holding your son though Jongho seemed to freeze again in fear and before you knew it he had disappeared claiming he needed some air. Mingi reassured you everything would be fine before heading out to look for him. Eventually, he found him sitting in the hospital garden sitting on a bench with his head in his hands. Mingi’s brows furrowed with concern as he carefully approached Jongho not wanting to startle him. “You know your son is just as excited to meet you as you were to meet him,” Mingi says quietly as he sits next to Jongho,  “He’s waiting for you with your girlfriend in their room upstairs.”
“They don’t deserve me, I ran out,” Jongho sniffled.
“You were scared and that’s okay, all first-time parents are,” Mingi replied, rubbing circles on his back.
“But what if I mess up, what if I hurt him, what if I’m not there enough, what if I’m not enough for Y/N, what if- w-what if I fail,” he ranted, whispering his last words as he looked at Mingi with a tear-stained face.
“That’s exactly what an amazing dad would say,” Mingi said with a reassuring smile, chuckling as a confused expression spread across Jongho’s face, “Everything you just said is what anyone that wants to be a good parent worries about. If you mess up, so what? You’ll learn just like any first-time parent. I’m not gonna lie, some days will be harder than others and others will feel like pure bliss. Heck, some days will be in between the two because being a parent is never just one thing. You're a teacher, a doctor, a caregiver, a student, a superhero, and more all rolled into one. The spontaneity of it all is what makes it beautiful and worth it..”
Mingi watched as Jongho wiped his tears, beginning to calm himself nodding softly. “Now what are you waiting for? Let's go meet your son,” Mingi encouraged. Jongho nodded, laughing softly at his hyung’s excitement. As they stood up to make their way back Jongho hugged him tightly muttering a thank you. Once back Mingi gently took the infant from your arms before guiding Jongho on how to hold him. You felt your worries disappear the moment you heard Jongho hold back tears of joy as he introduced himself to your son. “You know he still needs a name,” you smiled hoping it'd help him feel better. Jongho turned to face you with eyes of wonder before looking back down at the bundle of joy in his arms. “How about Minho?” he suggested with a bright smile as he looked up at you.
“Bright, I like that,” you smiled.
“Little Minho,” he sighed happily, pulling his son a little closer.

late nights
Tumblr media
SUMMARY — you and bang chan are both equally as stressed out. your solution?  sleep with each other. boom, problem solved.
Tumblr media
PAIRING — bang chan  x  reader  WARNINGS — mentions of stress and mental health problems, unprotected sex, soft!dom chan, mentions of kinks, really soft, really cute smut basically, crying (not sexually), sad thoughts, angry and frustrated emotions, angsty GENRE — heavy angst, fwb, coming-of-age kind of, smut, romance, porn with a hint of plot WORD COUNT — 4.9k, i got carried away my bad
Tumblr media
“How do you deal with stress?”
Chan’s question wasn’t ill intentioned by any means, and as you both sat in his studio, you pondered on whether or not to actually answer truthfully. “I mean, you’re the leader of two more trainees than I was, and navigating as a girlgroup is much more difficult than boygroups,”
“Do you want the honest answer, or the more appropriate answer?” you crossed your legs, Chan’s couch feeling quite comfortable. He stared down at you for a moment, the height of his chair offering him that leverage.
The room was quiet, the lights were dim, and the entire environment was soothing. “Well, honest, of course. No point in me asking if it’s a fib, no?”
You nodded, blowing a puff of air out of your nose thoughtfully. “Truthfully, I use sex. It allows me to physically and mentally drain myself, and I sleep really well after getting fucked. It allows me to refresh the next morning, and my stress, at least physically, is diminished.”
You didn’t look at him until you finished talking, and his face was blank. Once you two locked eyes, he sputtered out, “Oh, I—”
“This is why I offered two options, Chan,” you laughed, and at the lighten of atmosphere he giggled a bit too. “I didn’t mean to, y’know,” he stopped, and you nodded lightly. “I get it, but as of now I don’t do it much anymore. I usually just let out my anger or stress during dance routines or working out but it doesn’t work the same, and sometimes I deliver moves too harshly while dancing.”
“Why not?”
You were unsure what he was referring to, and you crinkled your eyebrows. “How come you don’t do it anymore if nothing else helps the same way?” he asked softly, his eyes swimming with genuine concern.
“I’m a lot more conservative with my body, I just have to trust someone. It’s hard to get to know a guy without them immediately wanting to jump into a relationship. You can’t really do that in what we do, and the second I start to trust a guy things go haywire. I just really have to have a good friendship to have sex, I guess.”
The entirety of the conversation, Chan’s cheeks were turning peach. Even in the dark, dim light, you could see it. “I understand, it’s a very tangible thing. Just giving yourself to someone like that without a basic relationship, platonic or not, is important depending on how you view relationships,”
You nodded in response, and a silence fell over you two. There wasn’t much to be said, but for some reason you decided to blurt out. “If you don’t know how to deplete stress, I suggest it. Just the no strings attached part, because otherwise things get messy and stress becomes inevitable. Just try it sometime, Chan. If you don’t like it, then consider it a learning experience,” you shrugged, and Chan pursed his lips.
“I mean it doesn’t sound like a bad idea, per se. I just don’t know how I’ll casually ask someone to have sex. Most women just run off the moment I mention it, and who knows if they’re even into the same things I am? There’s just so many things to be unsure of.” His chin was now laying on his thumb, and his pointer finger was laying above his top lip. He was deep in thought.
You stood up, which cause Chan to unexpectedly flinch, and he watched you with careful eyes. “Chris, if you ever feel like you need a de-stresser, you know where to find me. Nothing will be weird unless you make it weird. Or we can always just talk, either way, I’m here. I have to go before Sumna comes and drags me out of here, but seriously. Whatever you need, no strings attached. Nothing leaves this room,” you mentioned softly, and his eyes widened at his English name. It’s rather rare you used it, so he pondered the specific use of it in this scenario.
“Thank you,” he muttered simply, and he watched you as you walked out. Was she being serious?
Tumblr media
Chan and you had not talked in a few days. Whether it was a crazy schedule, you embarassing yourself, or him not knowing how to approach the situation, you didn’t know. All you did know was that you missed your friend.
You and your bandmates had a hectic schedule today, and as the leader, you’d had to sit in on a meeting with your manager and JYP’s public relations manager. Apparently, Dispatch had caught one of your members, Lanzi, out doing something with another k-pop idol. Dispatch had only obtained two pictures of it, but it was clearly legible on who they were, and what they were doing.
The cost to get those pictures thrown out was much more than JYP would have liked, so she had to sit and get chewed out. Instead of being angry at Lanzi, she became more angry at herself. She had talked to them about things of this sort, but clearly not well enough. It was her job as leader, and she failed doing so.
After a three hour long meeting, you were absolutely exhausted, mentally at least. And now, just after that, was choreography practice. You’d just learned the choreo a few days before, so for the most part you had it down. As lead dancer, you also had to make sure everyone else in your group understood that too.
So, thirty minutes into practice, when none of your members seemed to be latching on, you sighed. Your entire job was to simply lead, and do well. Somehow, you couldn’t manage to do that. Once more, you started the choreography, and told your girls to simply stand back and watch.
You had a slight tone, but you needed them to understand that rhythm is just as important as the real dance moves. Your entire body was covered in sweat, and you were growing more frustrated by the minute.
The way your body moved was no longer elegant, just harsh, angry strokes of somewhat rhythmic actions. You did your best to do it just as you were shown, but the overwhelming anger and emotion in your body was just more than you could handle.
Little did you know, next to your bandmates, stood Hyunjin and Chan. They had come to ask something, but instead found you dancing your angered heart out. All stopped and stared, and Chan could only focus on the way your hips contorted, the patterns your hips followed.
As the music stopped, you turned around, and your eyes widened at the visitors.
“We can leave if you’re busy, Hyunjin-ah just wanted to ask if he could borrow the studio tomorrow, and I wanted a word with you, if that’s okay,” Chan asked, and all of your bandmates went silent, expecting you to take the lead of the conversation.
“Hyunjin-sunbaenim, the studio is yours whenever you need it. Let me know what time, and Chan-oppa, would you like to talk now?”
Hyunjin bowed, and gave a quick thank you before heading out of the room. “Yes, please. If you’re too busy, no worries,” and you looked at your girls and told them to head back to the dorm. You were done for today, no reason to beat a dead horse when clearly today was not a good one to get skills in.
“Can we talk in my studio?” Chan came closer to you, almost a whisper, and you knew this was going to go one of two ways: he was going to fuck your brains out, or he was going to let you know that he did not think of you in that way, and to please never discuss things like that with him again. You don’t think you could handle either, at least not today.
“Yeah, let me grab some other clothes,” you said softly, rubbing your forehead in anxiety. Chan quickly started to mention something, and you shut him up quick. “I don’t—”
“Chan, I’m getting new clothes because I am sweaty and tired, nothing else. I will meet you in your studio after I am changed,” you sighed, your hot knees feeling good against the cool floor of the choreography studio. Your duffle bag now wide open, you grabbed an oversized long sleeve shirt and a pair of loose jeans.
You also reapplied deodorant and some perfume so you didn’t smell like you lived in a sewer, the amount
As your girls were long gone, you felt free to change in the studio. Your clothes quickly fell to the floor, and you were now in more comfortable apparel that is not drenched in sweat. Dreading this conversation with Chan, you swiftly collected your things and moved them to the corner to come collect after you spoke to Chan and was ready to go home.
Guiding your way to Chan’s studio was a walk in the park. The amount of times you’d go in there to talk to him, or for him to let you hear what he’d been working on, was countless. You two had budded a beautiful friendship, and he had been somewhat of a rock. He had always been so sweet, so loving. And you’ve possibly ruined it because you couldn’t think of anything other than sex when trying to guide him through dealing with stress.
Your eyes almost welled at the thought. You couldn’t cry though, not now. So, as you stood outside of Chan’s recording studio, you held your breath for a moment and looked up, letting the tears vanish.
A soft knock sounded, your knuckles rasping at the door. The hallways were silent, and you couldn’t hear a single thing from inside Chan’s studio. Your own heartbeat pounded in your ears, and you tensed as you heard footsteps leading up to his door.
He opened the door, his face showing no clear emotions. He didn’t seem angry, but he wasn’t too happy to see you, either. His hair was clearly ran through by his hand, blonde tufts falling back towards his ears. His makeup was done to perfection, light brown tones covering his lids.
He wore a simple outfit, a loose black hoodie and dark blue sweatpants. He’d changed from earlier, his black ripped jeans now nowhere to be seen. “Come in, you can sit anywhere,” his voice was always soft, even though he could be fuming, his tone would never soar.
“Chan, I just want to say I’m sorry,” you muffled out, plopping down unconventionally on his couch. “I just, I don’t know why I said those things or did that,” at this point, you just didn’t want him to think differently of you. He was the closest thing you had to a mentor, and he was an amazing friend.
If you lost him, or ruined your relationship, you don’t think you could ever forgive yourself.
You pulled your knees up to your chest as he took a seat in his chair, staring expectedly at you. Silence followed, so you continued, unsure of what he was expecting to hear. “I just don’t like you being stressed, and the only way I know how to cope with things is kind of like that, so I figured maybe you could too, and then I offered, and I feel like I just fucked things up between us. I.. just I’m so sorry.”
At this point your eyes had clouded up, and your voice had cracked multiple times. The day you’d had just piled up, and your exhaustion was visible. Chan’s eyes immediately softened, and he felt bad. He wasn’t mad, he just didn’t know how to approach the situation.
“Hey, hey,” he soothed, and he stood up from his chair and joined you on the couch. At this point, you’d started full on crying. “I ruined our friendship, and now I’m sitting here crying so you’re gonna feel too bad to be honest with me about what I did wrong,” you were now sniffling hard, and your chest was dense you were surprised you could breathe.
“No, love, that’s not it, I promise,” your heart pumped blood a bit harder at his nickname for you, and he placed a warm hand on your back. “I came here to ask if you were okay,” his tone was now nothing but soft and supportive, and he continuously rubbed your back. Warmth spread throughout your entire body.
“I heard about the meeting, and everyone kept discussing how stressed out you were today,” in the dim light once more, his eyes glowed. They were so soft, so sweet. His entire aura was just warm, loving, and nothing was more assuring.
“No matter what happens between us, you’re my friend, and I care about you,” he smiled softly, “Nothing would change that, unless you like, stabbed me or something,” he laughed soulfully, and you laughed with him. He pulled you closer to him, your head now leaning on his shoulder.
“Thank you, Chan. I just didn’t know what to do, and today has been really shitty,” you smiled, and let your head fall even closer to his chest. His thumbs ran circles around your back, and he held you close. “It’s okay, I understand. Trust me,” a warm silence encased the entire room, and as Chan now cuddled you warmly, your face was now red at the reality of the situation.
“Do you feel a bit better?”
“Yeah, I just needed someone to remind me of how things are and to keep me grounded,” you sighed, and Chan’s thumb was now no longer rubbing your back. His hand had stilled, and all you could hear was the heartbeat from inside Chan’s chest. He was so broad, and the expanse of his torso provided a very comfortable pillow.
“I wasn’t offended, or taken back or anything when you offered, you know that, right?” Chan spoke out of nowhere, the rumbling of his chest vibrating intensely. “I wouldn’t have known, I tried my best to ignore you in case you never wanted to speak to me again,”
A small laugh came out of Chan, and his chest pushed your head a bit. “No, in fact, I think I’ve thought about it a little too much.”
You pushed your head off of him at this point, and resuming your position before he sat on the couch. You pulled your knees back up to your chest, and looked at him. “Really?”
“You said you wanted to have sex with someone you trust, and I feel the same way. It’s really hard to come by good people with good intentions, and you also happen to be beyond gorgeous. Why would I not want to?”
With cheeks now flushed red, you giggled. School-girl giggled, specifically. You had no idea how to take this compliment, but then the realization hit you. Christopher Bang just said he wants to fuck you.
His face also turned a deep scarlet, and he looked down, waiting for a reaction. “Mr. Bang, the things you say. So scandalous,” you both laughed lightly, and you hummed in response to the silence. “If we decide to ever do something, it’s important we talk about it first,” you mentioned, and now the conversation went from light-hearted to a bit more serious.
“Of course, but in what way?”
“I don’t know, what kinds of things do you like? I can’t promise I can pertain to everything, but there’s no harm in trying. Especially if it happens more than once,” you clutched your legs, and Chan leaned forward a bit, his elbows on his knees as he stared ahead.
“Uh, well,” he laughed, and covered his hands with his face. This was the Chan you liked, who could make any situation, no matter how dark, seem light and easy-going. “It’s not really,” he started, beginning to look at you, then stopping himself, “I don’t know. I never usually talk about it like this,”
“Well, how about this: I tell you what I like, and you tell me what you’re willing to do. Just because I like it does not mean you have to do it, but if you enjoy it too, its mutual pleasure, yeah?”
Chan simply nodded, now mesmerized by you. His face completely tracked yours, and you sighed. “I have always loved your hands. I really, really like if you’d put them around my neck, if you would ever feel so kind. I really love being praised, I love being called a good girl, things like that. My favorite foreplay is just making out, I’m just a big softie, but I can take rough if that’s what you like. I’m a big pleaser, and I want to make sure you’re taken care of and get some pleasure out of this,”
Chan nodded once more, and his fingers instinctively wrapped themselves around his rings, twisting and turning. “Your turn, Channie,” you smirked, and he leaned back, a smile crowning his face.
“Well, I really like being soft and intimate, I like any position, bonus points if I see your face,” he smiled, his cheeks burning scarlet. He clearly did not talk about these things often, moreso just played them out in the midst of a high and never spoke of it again. But he and you both knew how important communication was, so he continued.
“I have played around with being called Daddy, but I’m not sure, and if you’re not comfortable with it—”
“If I am that uncomfortable with something, I promise I’ll tell you. Besides, that’s really cute. Rolls right off the tongue, right Daddy?”
He visibily shivered, and you smiled. “I—uh, I like if you’d run your fingers through my hair, not too hard, but like soothingly, kind of? If that makes sense. I also like it if you’d verbalise when you’re, uh—”
You knew where he was going, so you leaned close to his ear and finished his sentence for him. “Gonna cum? Oh, it would be rude not to,” you laughed gently, and you saw the last of Chan’s patience snap like a rubber band.
His hands grabbed your face sternly, yet somehow gently. “Do you want this?” he asked, the lust obvious on his face. Despite any previous conversation, he needed verbal consent to continue, and it would make him feel most okay with doing this.
“Yes,”
The room was now silent, anticipation filling your entire body. You’d come in here crying, and you couldn’t help but hope you’d leave the same way; just a different type of crying.
He pushed you so your back was now flush against the couch, the headrest leaning your upper torso closer to him. “Tell me to stop, and I promise I will, alright? The second you tell me to,” he was now looking you dead in the eyes, above you. Your legs were spread open, and his entire body was in the valley of your abdomen. Both of his arms were on either side of you, perching himself up.
“Chris, just kiss me already,” you whined, and he laughed wholeheartedly, before dipping in. The first kiss was hesitant, exploring new territory. His lips tasted like vanilla chapstick, and the first few were light pecks. It took only a second before he took the initiative and added his tongue to the mixture.
You rarely ever used tongue, most of your hookups barely even kissed, which is why none of them compared. Kissing was your weak point, it was a vulnerability. And Chan did not abuse that power once.
“Is this okay?” he mumbled against your mouth, your exchanging saliva now making more than your mouth lubricated. “Fuck, yes,” you moaned out, the amount of times he would kiss you now making you weak.
His hands dragged softly, and held themselves at your jaw, a classic sweetheart. His thumb was against your cheek so softly, the pads gracefully rubbing across the expanse of your cheekbone.
Everything about this was so domestic, so warm. His kisses were so soft, and full of love. There was no rush, no push to go any farther had you or him decided not to. His warm hands on your face made you purr on the inside, and when he pulled away, he had looked more beautiful than ever.
You had no intention of mentioning the wetness that had gathered between your legs, until Chan was staring at you, and momentarily his eyes widened. “Shit,” he cursed, looking around rapidly. “We don’t have a condom. I’m clean and everything, but we don’t have to continue if you don’t feel comfortable,”
“I have an implant, and I’m clean too. I just want you, if you want me too.”
Chan had no other qualms about it, and he attacked your face in sloppy kisses. “Here, can we switch positions, my arm is hurting?” he asked awkwardly, and you laughed with your entire chest. It was a normal question, but the way he asked so ashamedly, as if it was something terrible.
“Sit up straight, let me get on your lap,” you said softly, and he did as he was told. It was only then that you saw the bulge in his sweatpants, and you forgot that he actually had a male appendage, and from the looks of it, he was either girthy or long. Or both.
As long as he knew how to use it, you’d be fine.
He grabbed you by your hand to help maneuver you, and now your entire weight was on top of Chan. As you finally sat your hips down, he groaned. “Oh god,”
You took his face in your hands, and started kissing him again. At this point, you didn’t want him to be respectful anymore. His hands did not waver from your face, and so you took it into your own hands. Grabbing them both, so soft and calloused, and placed them as discreetly as you could, onto your hips. Moreso your ass, but Chan didn’t know your intentions.
His hands pushed your hips forward, now rutting against his hard on. His lips and yours were now in a frenzy, drenching each other. It was still pretty slow, nothing fast paced, just more intense.
He broke the kiss, and his hands now edged at the bottom of your shirt. “Can I take this off?” he asked, breathless. His lips were now swollen and puffy, and his pupils were blown wide.
You nodded softly, no words needed to be said. He quickly hauled the oversize shirt above your head, and groaned harshly when he realized you had no bra on. His first instinct was to latch his mouth onto your nipples, sucking softly. A moan left your mouth, and with nothing to hold onto anymore, your hands found his hair.
Still rocking back and forth, your panties were probably soaked at that point. So much foreplay had you almost throbbing, and you couldn’t wait much longer to have him inside you.
“Chan, please,” you moaned out, and he bit down on your nipple gently. “Only since you asked so nicely,” he added, and he told you to stand up. You did so, easily willingly, yet you loved the way he spoke to you.
It was almost a request, a plea. There was no power imbalance here, simply one trying to find another. He was so gentle, in everything he did. You wanted to drown in that feeling.
He pulled your jeans off without a hitch, and eyed your lace panties hungrily, slightly thankful you’d changed earlier this evening. His fingers grasped the sides, pulling them down your legs. You were now completely bare, and he was fully dressed. This was a problem.
“Not fair, your turn,” you pouted, and his eyes were fixated on your naked body. It felt odd, having him see you like this, but you couldn’t complain. Your arousal was now tainting your inner thighs, and Chan could probably see it too.
He rid himself of his hoodie and his shirt at the same time, and you finally got a full view of him shirtless. This man was absolutely ripped, and you had to hold in a gasp. His arms were lined in protruding veins, and his abs were impeccable. You worked out, but not in your wildest dreams would you ever be able to maintain that nice of a physique.
It wasn’t until he pulled off his pants, and painstakingly after, he patiently pulled his boxers off. God, did he have a pretty cock. A bit longer than average, slightly girthy, and it made your mouth water just thinking about it.
Your first instinct was to pop down onto your knees, but as you were on your way down, Chan grabbed you by the arm. “Not this time, please, I need you,” he whined out, almost painfully.
As you were on top of his lap, you were careful not to let him inside you yet. You figured he could decide when to do it, and you squealed when he let one hand slide from your face, down to your throat. His fingers, covered in rings, squeezed gently. He coaxed another moan from you as he let his fingers glide down the valley of your body, and found itself on your clit.
His movements were slow, but intense. His fingers glided over your folds, picking up some of your arousal, and placed all of his attention onto your little nub. Small pinprick moans escaped your mouth, and you began to tilt your hips in an attempt to get more friction. “Fuck, you’re so wet,”
Some noise semblant to a mew tried to leave your mouth, but his fingers tangled themselves around your neck further, leaving the sound trapped in your throat. “Are you ready? Or do we need to get you a bit more warmed up?” he asked softly, his mouth now next to you ear. His voice was dark, and husky.
“God, I just need you inside me,” you whined, and his hand let up on your neck, and he grabbed his cock harshly. He pumped it a few times, and spread your lips, and lined you up.
“Beg,” he said simply, and even if you tried to sink down, he now placed a hand on top of your hips harshly. You couldn’t move even if you wanted to. “W—what?” you asked, breathless.
“Beg, I want to hear you beg for me to fuck you,” he repeated himself, and looked down at you mischeviously. You two were face to face, and his cock was still in his hands, and your lips spread wide open for him to see. “Fuck, please,” you whined, and to no avail, he didn’t budge, “please, daddy, I just wanna feel good,”
As soon as the name sounded from your mouth, he pushed inside of you. The stretch was amazing, it was slightly painful, but it felt like nothing on this earth could amount. His entire cock filled you out nicely, and the lewd sound of him smacking against you was filling the room.
His hands laid at your hips now, piling into you like his life depended on it. His balls were smacking against your ass, and the harsh thrusts stimulated your clit. Everything was so intense, the way he filled you so deeply, you could feel him in places you didn’t know he could reach, and you felt like you’d burst apart the seams.
Shameless moans spilled from your mouth, and Chan was in your ear, grunting like a man starved. “Such a good girl, fuck, for me,” his groans were so animalistic, and the way his hands would hold you steady.
His fingers traveled down to toy with your clit, and he never stopped fucking you. Your fingers started to tangle within his hair, and his lips attached themselves to your neck, sucking, finding anything to latch onto.
The second his fingers started rubbing your clit numbly, you knew that you were going to cum soon. Everything he did just felt so good, you were just a hole the second he started fucking you.
“I—I’m gonna, I’m gonna cum,” you breathed out heavily, and your legs started shaking. “Please, can I—please cum?”
“Yes, cum for me,” he breathed out in a husky tone, and it wasn’t long until you felt your thighs start to involuntarily shake, and the feeling inside your abdomen welling up. “I’m so—” you were cut off by your orgasm rushing over you, Chan’s fingers never stopped stimulating your clit.
You moaned out harshly, slumping towards him, unable to control yourself as one of the most harsh orgasms you’ve ever had washed over you. Your entire body started to seize, and you clenched around him harshly. He continued to fuck into you, sucking into your neck, and he starting fucking into you faster. He was definitely close, “Where-”
You cut him off, still under the shock of your orgasm, “inside me, please,” you begged, and he fucked into you once more, even harder. “Fuck, I’m gonna cum,”
He lived up to his promise, as less than a few seconds later, his warm cum spurted inside of you, and he still rutted his hips, begging for more friction. He stroked into you a few more times, now drained of energy. He placed a soft kiss onto your neck, and whispered, “Thank you.”
You got up, and put your shirt back on over yourself, and Chan pulled his boxers and sweatpants on once more. A thought rose over you on whether to leave or not, but you knew Chan would be a skinship type of guy. He would probably have a drop, and not be used to just casual hookups like this.
“Do you want me to stay?” you asked softly, and a large part of you hoped he would say yes.
“Please.”

Ateez after jealousy
Read them being jealous here
Seonghwa
You were shocked and embarrassed by Seonghwa's outburst but you left nonetheless, not wanting infuriate him further.
He pulled his dance parts off flawlessly after a few more tries and got praised by the choreographer and the dancers. He was elated to be able to do it but a part of him was ashamed for lashing out at you just because you were supporting his boys too.
He got finished with his schedule and went straight to your apartment. You opened the door, not expecting to see him there. He immediately hugged you and whispered apologies.
You let him in and talked about his day.
Hongjoong
Hongjoong enjoyed the privacy, knowing Mingi was understanding and would steer clear. The room was dimly lit, his head in your lap, your fingers massaging his scalp and deep talk, that's what Hongjoong and you loved doing the most.
Some time later Mingi entered the room and asked if he could use Hongjoong's laptop for the software. You invited him to sit and talk. Hongjoong became tense and snuggled closer to you. Mingi excused himself saying he had something very important to do.
"we'll hangout the day Hongjoong hyung is busy so he wouldn't get in the way of our bonding time." he snickered and left the room saying goodbye.
Of course Mingi missed you too but he understood that you were Hongjoong's girl and he didn't want to make his friend uncomfortable and upset.
Yunho
Lying on his bed after spending the rest of the day with his family, he was left alone with his thoughts. He processed the things that happened 12 hours ago and felt terrible about acting like that. Picking up his phone he dialed your number but your phone was switched off.
The next day he drove back to Seoul and went to meet you. You opened the door and he saw your bloodshot eyes. Yunho felt his heart break and came to hug you but you pushed him away. He tried again but you hit his chest multiple times. He took it all and succeeded in hugging you. You clutched his shirt and sobbed into his chest. He caressed your head and comforted you. When you calmed down you two went to your living room where he explained himself.
"I didn't expect you to act like that Yunho" you admitted.
"I know and I'm sorry for hurting you. I love you."
Yeosang
Yeosang and Wooyoung talked about his feelings and he felt a little better. Y/N came with 3 flavours of ice-cream for him; he was ecstatic. Wooyoung didn't subside his friend and his feelings. He knew Yeosang inside out and knew he was upset about y/n not giving him attention.
"hey y/n thank you so much for this, you should spend time with Yeosang now, I'll be okay." he spoke.
Y/N felt bad for ignoring Yeosang knowing he didn't like it. But she couldn't leave Wooyoung like that. She went to hug Yeosang and kissed him in front of Wooyoung.
"I'm still here with a broken heart please have a heart!" Wooyoung whined.
San
You and him had a good healthy relationship. He cared for you a lot and you did the same for him. He couldn't get Eric's weird behavior out of his head. Eric must have a motive and he felt uncomfortable.
San got out of the gym and went to his car to get you something from the café nearby. He was startled when Eric got in the passenger seat and told him to drive. It was clear that San was afraid of Eric.
"y/n is mine, you need to get out of the picture, where the hell did you even come from?" Eric yelled.
San's heart was beating out of his chest.
"no" he answered and stopped the car.
"what the fuck did you say?" Eric was furious and got out the car. He pulled San out by his collar and slammed his body against the car.
"I don't think I made myself clear. I loved her first. You're way out of her league and you're embarrassing yourself. Get out of my way little fucker." he seethed.
"I love y/n, I won't break her heart." San spoke in a low voice.
Eric punched San in the face a few times.
"I'll bring more pain to you if you don't listen to me." he barked and went away.
San was left in utter shock and fear, thinking about himself and your future.
Mingi
He was a regular customer and got discounts too. You always served him so you got praise from the manager. Mingi would come by, to give you little gifts and flowers.
One day when your shift was over and you were preparing to head home, your coworker asked you out for some drinks. He knew you were free for the evening and strategically asked you out. You didn't want to come off as rude but you also didn't want to waste time on a date with him because you didn't see him and you together. You walked to the door, telling him you had something to do but he proposed that he would come with you. You were cornered. Just then Mingi came inside and smiled seeing you there. You saw the opportunity and took it.
"I'm ready for our date, let's go" you said to Mingi.
He was dancing on the inside but was confused as to what you meant. You waved your coworker goodbye and held Mingi's hand taking him outside.
"what was that?" he inquired.
"I didn't want to go out with him so I said that, I'm sorry" you answered.
"I see. Well I wouldn't mind a date with you, if you're down." he smiled.
You felt warm and giddy inside and agreed.
Wooyoung
He worked his ass off, trying to learn the dance for the duo performance. It helped him in learning the style of dance and also in getting closer to you.
Senna was impressed by his work ethic and praised him openly. Wooyoung learned that her parents owned the dance studio and that's how she knew different styles of dancing.
They performed well and got praise from the dance instructors.
"thanks Wooyoung, you did great"
"why're you thanking me?"
"you performed with me, and you put everything in this, even though I know you had schedules and we're busy with your idol life."
Wooyoung smirked and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"in that case, a thanks Wooyoung won't do. Go on a date with me."
Senna's heart skipped a beat but she scoffed.
"wow you really went there" she said.
"any why not."
"okay I'll go out with you." she said, patting his arm.
Jongho
y/n came to Jongho and asked how she did. He smiled warmly and praised her. She felt that Jongho was a little distant so she confronted him.
"what's wrong?"
"nothing. You did really well."
"you said that already. What's up?"
"well I was a little surprised seeing you dancing with that guy."
"oh so you mean you're jealous."
"I'm not jealous, I'm just a bit... okay fine I was jealous."
Y/N booped his nose, earning a stunned reaction from him. She got on her toes and kissed him on his lips. Jongho tilted his head, deepening the kiss. He pulled away and looked into her eyes.
"you're mine." he said and kissed her again.

Word count: 14.8k
Summary: Taeyong and Seulgi participate in a nationwide dance competition. However, due to unfortunate scheduling, she has to drop out of it, suggesting you, out of all people, fill in. Taeyong isn't pleased with how things manage to fall out of place, but he is in no position to be whiny about it. For him, it's either learn to work with you or lose yet another time to his arch-enemy.

A/N it's my entry for song association event, I hope you like it, and also don't forget to check out other entries ^^ they must be all out by now lol
“Are you ready?” Johnny inquired as he set his fourth coffee of the day on his desk and plopped onto the swivel chair in a cubicle next to mine. It was a really long day at work, and we both had trouble sitting through the end of it. Heaving a deep sigh, I looked at the pile of documents that required my attention, groaning before I sprawled across my workspace.
“I thought it’s canceled tonight,” I spoke as I looked at my wristwatch, wincing when I realized there was still one more hour until Johnny and I could finally clock out.
A few months ago, our lovely firm, instead of giving us a well-deserved raise, had decided to provide us with a variety of extra activities. Though I’d rather get some monetary benefits, together with Johnny, we chose dance classes. Our company was paying for it, so we might’ve as well attended.
Ever since then, every Thursday, we would go to a dance class to sweat out all of the pent-up frustration. I didn’t have plenty of expectations, still bitter after the company’s decision, but the dance class turned out amazing. Seulgi was our teacher, and although she was a bit demanding, she was patient enough to teach us some sick moves. If that didn’t scream talent™, I had no idea what did.
“Well… last week, she said she might be absent today, but I got a text from school that someone will fill in,” Johnny spoke matter-of-factly. I sighed, checking my phone, reading the same text message from the studio. I really didn’t have energy for dance classes, but there was no way Johnny would let me skip.
“Do you want to grab a drink after? I think I need one, or a few,” I proposed as I sat back in my chair, trying to let my eyes rest from the computer’s screen.
“Does a bear shit in the woods?” Johnny asked rhetorically, smiling at me as if I just read his mind. It was almost Friday at this point, and we deserved a little treat.
Though it felt like an eternity, the clock finally struck 5 p.m., letting us leave our claustrophobic cubicles. Tomorrow we would come back for another dose of torture, but right now, we were free. Only for a few hours, though.
Quickly, I returned home to get my gym bag. Thankfully, I lived within walking distance from both – my office and the dance studio, so it wasn’t as troublesome to commute as it was for Johnny, who got stuck in traffic almost every day.
A few minutes before the dance class, I was already changed into my gym attire, waiting for Johnny. Though no one was texting me, I stared at my phone, furiously typing away. Moon Taeil, also known as my secret crush, was leaning against the wall on the other side of the corridor, and I tried every single trick my mind could come up with not to look desperate.
“At this point, he must think you hate him,” Johnny commented as he conjured in front of me out of nowhere. “You should hit on him instead of trying to bolt every time he approaches you,” he added, and I rolled my eyes at his yet another one shitty advice.
“Can you remind me why I don’t take dating advice from you?”
“Why are you attacking me? I just wanted to help. There’s no need to get so aggressive,” Johnny defended his case, not really answering my question. Johnny was a self-proclaimed love expert, but to me, he was more of a pathological playboy. Either way, he seemed to understand the secrets of flirtation to pick up girls whenever he set his mind to it.
“I am just trying not to be obvious,” I commented, stealing a glance at Taeil. It was a silly crush, and though Johnny encouraged me to go for it, I never decided to act on my feelings. Taeil probably didn’t feel this way about me, so remaining idle actually saved me embarrassment after an inevitable rejection.
“Speaking of which, I figured out why Seulgi is so resistant to my charms,” Johnny announced proudly, and I raised my eyebrow, waiting for the big reveal. Everybody in our group knew that Johnny was attracted to Seulgi, but every time he tried to approach her, she would brush him off.
“By figured out, you mean you stalked her, right?” I commented when Johnny handed me his phone, showing me Seulgi’s profile. According to what Johnny dug out in social media, Seulgi was getting married to Irene – her girlfriend of five years. “Huh,” I mused as I gave him back his phone, trying not to laugh at him. Seulgi was already madly in love with someone else, no wonder she could resist his charm.
“Call it whatever you want,” Johnny started, putting his phone away. “Just don’t hold me down when FBI finally recruits me for my impeccable detective skills,” he argued, and I laughed as I imagined him leaving our lovely company. That would be a shame; I couldn’t imagine anyone else sitting in the cubicle next to mine.
“The room should be open,” someone hollered, mentioning for us to open the doors and get inside. I had seen him a few times around the school, so I deduced he must’ve been our substitute teacher today.
Once everybody took their spot on the dance floor, the man cleared his throat. “Hello everybody, my name is Taeyong. Together with Seulgi, we run this school, and I hope we will have a lot of fun today with new choreography,” he announced politely with a practiced professionalism. Perhaps Taeyong didn’t seem as cool as Seulgi, but we had to give him a chance to prove us wrong.
Taeyong was intimidating. I wouldn’t want to be left alone with him. When he showed us a few moves, he was immensely focused on delivering one hundred percent. It was impressive and admirable, but at the same, Taeyong gave off a scary fierce aura. Though he was a great dancer and teacher, Seulgi was just better.
“I think I have a heart attack,” I panted, gasping for air. The new choreography required lots of jumping, and I didn’t expect so much cardio today. I wasn’t out of shape; however, after dancing to Taeyong’s choreography, I had some doubts.
“We should’ve skipped,” Johnny commented, bending over with his palms on his knees, supporting his huge body. Taeyong’s dance routine was too much for us, and we weren’t the only people struggling to breathe. Thankfully, next week Seulgi would be back.
***
“You’re not gonna believe this,” Johnny announced, craning his neck to look inside my cubicle. Heaving a sigh, I put my pen down, giving him my full attention.
This better be good.
“What is it? Who are you stalking this time?” I inquired, giving him the attitude. Johnny was spending too much time on his phone during working hours, but I couldn’t really frown upon it because I often caught myself doing the same thing.
“First of all, I thought we agreed to call it researching, not stalking,” Johnny clarified, and I rolled my eyes. “And second of all, it’s Seulgi. She and the other guy from the dance studio qualified for some dance competition. Check this out,” Johnny explained, handing me his phone.
Seulgi and Taeyong rocked the stage. Though I had nothing to compare their performance to, they just oozed charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. Without any shred of doubt, they would make it to the grand finale.
“Wow,” I mused, not sure how to appropriately respond. I was happy for their success; after all, their performance was broadcasted during prime time on national television. At this point, Seulgi and Taeyong were celebrities.
“I can’t wait for today’s class,” Johnny added in excitement, hiding his phone away inside the pocket of his jacket. “I have to congratulate her.”
“Them. You have to congratulate them,” I corrected Johnny as he seemed to forget about Seulgi’s dance partner. It wasn’t a solo competition, so both Seulgi and Taeyong deserved praise. “And as if you’ve forgotten, Seulgi is not and will never be interested in you. You gotta let this one go, man,” I added, hoping Johnny would stop his relentless flirting with Seulgi. Though it was funny at the beginning, it was evident Seulgi would appreciate it if he stopped.
“I am all over her. Trust me,” Johnny reassured me, and I let out a shallow sigh, wanting to believe him. “Do you know Wendy from the HR department? I think I’m gonna ask her out. I am all over Seulgi,” he added, and it actually convinced me. Although Johnny didn’t seek anything serious at this point in his life, and when something didn’t go according to his plan, he would shake it off and forget all about it.
“Ok, I believe you,” I said, giving him a genuine smile. “Oh, and I was thinking… how about some beer and chicken after dance classes today? I’ve been craving them the whole day,” I offered, and Johnny enthusiastically nodded. It did sound like a solid plan.
Thankfully, this week Seulgi was back, and everybody appreciated it. Taeyong was a great teacher, but we were a group of beginners, and it was difficult for us to follow his routine. We just weren’t ready for such complex choreography.
Everybody had so much fun today. At first, we practiced some old routines, working on synchronization. Later on, Seulgi taught us a few new moves, which I recognized from her television performance. Admittedly, they weren’t as difficult as they looked. Maybe it was a little bold of me, but I was thinking I was doing a pretty good job today.
At the very end of the class, Johnny delivered a dramatic congratulatory speech, making people laugh out of utter cringe. It was a nice gesture, and Seulgi’s embarrassment was adorable. She would cover her blushed cheeks and turn around, hoping the ground could swallow her up. In all honesty, it seemed to be the only way to shut up Johnny.
Just when we were about to be dismissed, I heard someone calling my name. Surprisingly, it was Seulgi. She must’ve wanted to discuss something with me. Damn it, was she going to scold me for not improving? Or was it because I sat half of the song out? I just needed a short break; I had no idea it would get me in trouble.
“I am sorry,” I apologized even though I wasn’t sure what for yet. Seulgi would enlighten me in a second, so I cleared my throat to apologize to her once again. However, when she giggled instead of yelling at me, I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
“I’ll wait for you outside,” Johnny hollered before he strolled out of the practice room.
“Am I in trouble?” I asked, and Seulgi smiled, shaking her head.
Great, it was a relief.
“Actually, I may sound crazy to you,” she started, fidgeting a little. It was strange, Seulgi was a strong and confident woman, but right now, she seemed rather bashful. “Would you like to participate in a dance competition?”
Her question took me aback.
“What?” I asked, trying to wrap my head around the topic.
“Let me explain,” she offered, and I reluctantly nodded.
By the look on her face, I could tell it wasn’t going to be a quick chit-chat. Seulgi had a lot of things to explain, so we decided to sit on the floor before she began her speech.
Patiently, I listened to everything she wanted to tell me.
Seulgi and Taeyong wanted to participate in a dance competition ever since they had decided to open up a dance school together. Last week they really thought they were going to achieve their dream. Unfortunately, as soon as they qualified and received the schedule, complications started to follow.
Maybe it was a little bit overconfident of them to think they’d make it to the finals, but it still made them anxious. Regardless of their talent, they wouldn’t be able to perform in the grand finale. Apparently, on the very same day, Seulgi was getting married.
At first, I wanted to interject that they could reschedule, but Seulgi beat me to it.
“It would be the third time we reschedule it, and I just can’t let that happen. I don’t want Irene to think I prioritize dancing over her. She means the world to me, and I’d quit a thousand times to get married to her,” Seulgi confessed, and I tried my best to contain my feels. There was something raw and pure about Seulgi’s love, and it moved me.
Seulgi’s proposition was genius in its simplicity. Together with Taeyong, she would perform, climbing up the rankings. And if by any chance, they would make it to the final round; she wanted me to fill in. Given I had been dancing at their studio for about four months I couldn’t comprehend why she chose me.
I was a rookie, for crying out loud!
Finding a substitute dancer made a lot of sense, actually. Instead of dropping out, they could find a replacement. This way, Taeyong could still make his dream come true. And next year, together with Seulgi, they could try to defend the title.
However, once again, Seulgi read my mind and answered my question before I voiced my doubts. She must’ve really thought this through before approaching me. It seemed she had rehearsed all possible inquires and came up with perfect answers.
“All of our dancer friends either compete against us or failed during qualifications,” she declared, and I hummed in response. “Unfortunately, people who already attempted joining can’t fill in for other dancers.”
“That sucks,” I commented, and Seulgi dryly chuckled.
“I think you would be a perfect fit,” she started, and I held my breath, wanting to hear what made her think I’d be able to rise to the challenge. “Everybody can memorize moves, but you have a natural passion for dancing. I can see it in class. Maybe you can’t see it yet because dancing is a hobby to you more than anything else, but I can tell you have the it™ factor.”
I was speechless. Seulgi, the dance prodigy, was praising my dancing skills. I couldn’t believe my ears. What kind of self-indulgent dream was it? Why couldn’t I dream like a normal person? I had tendency to toot my own horn sometimes, but it was just too much.
“I bet with proper training, you and Taeyong could win.”
“Let me think about it, okay?”
“Sure, of course! No pressure!” Seulgi replied enthusiastically, giving me enough space to clear my mind and think about it.
“See you next week.” I waved at her, exiting the dance room. Absentmindedly, I changed out of the gym clothes and walked out of the building, almost walking past Johnny.
“Hey, what did Seulgi want?” Johnny asked, grabbing my wrist, pulling me out of trance.
“She wants me to dance in her place if she and Taeyong ever make it to the finals.”
“What?!”
 ***
At first, I was hesitant about this whole thing. I wasn’t a professional dancer, and I really didn’t want to contribute to them losing the competition. However, Seulgi really made a point that they would have to drop out anyway, so in some twisted way, my participation gave them a slimmer of hope for victory.
Once I explained everything to Johnny, he really insisted I should help them out, spitting nonsense about fame and recognition and how I couldn’t doubt myself and just go with the flow. Opportunities like this rarely occurred, and I ought to welcome them with excitement.
So I did.
Every Saturday and Sunday, I dropped by the dance studio for practice. Taeyong still intimidated me, but I could deal with it. Seulgi was always around me to nag him whenever he demanded too much from me. They balanced each other very well, and it was fun working with them. Even though each practice left me with sore muscled, I was still excited. It was tangible proof I was improving.
Seulgi and Taeyong smoothly went through the contest, winning each battle with ease, slowly climbing in the ranking. There was still plenty of work until the grand finale, but everything looked they were to make it to the very top.
Unfortunately, the closer to the D-day, the less time Seulgi had to help us during practice. With her wedding coming up, she had a lot of preparations to deal with. As a result, Taeyong and I had to practice the dance routine on our own.
“No, you’re doing it all wrong,” Taeyong yelled in irritation when for the nth time, I turned to my right instead of my left. “Do it again; five, six, seven, eight,” he added, playing the song from the very beginning.
To say I was frustrated was an understatement of the century. I was aware that Taeyong really wanted to win the competition, but he didn’t have to be a dick about it. With no Seulgi to supervise him, he was unbearable.
“I think I need a break,” I declared once I turned to the wrong side again before Taeyong managed to scold me for it. Even though he shouted something again, I ignored it. With a deep sigh, I walked over to my gym bag to get my water bottle.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Taeyong asked, staring down at me with his arms folded across his chest, his demeanor dominant. His eyes were drilling holes in my head, his jaw was tightened – it was evident I was driving him up the wall. It was just a matter of seconds before Taeyong would snap, lashing out at me.
“I am taking a break,” I answered quickly, ignoring his angry stare. I was at my limit. If Taeyong didn’t back off, it would be the end of the practice for today. One more mean word and I’d storm out of the studio. I was here voluntarily. I was doing him a favor, and I didn’t deserve this type of treatment.
“Is it a joke to you?” Taeyong carried on, and I rolled my eyes. Of course, it wasn’t a joke to me. But at the same time, I was sick and tired of his shenanigans. I wanted him to win, but not when my mental health was on the line. He was pissing me off, and I wouldn’t let him walk all over me. “I thought you decided to help us out, but you’re not trying at all.”
He did not just say that.
“What?” I rhetorically asked, standing up, poking his chest with my forefinger. “I am trying my best here. You’re the one who makes it impossible to have fun dancing. You’re making it a chore, sucking all the fun out it.”
“Then tell me what I should do for you to finally make some progress? We’ve been stuck at this part for two weeks, and you still haven’t learned how to turn right!”
“Then go ahead and find someone else who can put up with your shit. I’m out,” I spoke, bending down to pick up my stuff, ready to leave the studio. Unfortunately, before I managed to exit the practice room, the doors opened, and Seulgi walked in with a confused expression on her face.
“Hey, what’s going on here?” She asked in worry, trying to put two and two together. It wouldn’t be the first time Taeyong and I argued, but it seemed to be the most intense one so far. It didn’t sit right with her. “Please don’t tell me you fought again.”
Briefly, I summarized what happened, and Seulgi looked down at Taeyong disapprovingly. I was glad Seulgi took my side; after all, she knew Taeyong could be too demanding.
“I am a dancer, but why does it feel I am a couple counselor? You two really have to learn how to work together when I’m not around,” she scolded us, making her point. If this whole arrangement was to work out, we both needed to establish some ground rules and learn how to put our differences aside. “I have an idea.”
Oh, no.
There was something mischievous in her tone, and I didn’t particularly like it.
“Let’s finish for today,” she proposed, and I smiled, thinking it was a great idea. Taeyong and I needed some time to chill, and calling it a day seemed like an appropriate way to do it. “Let’s go out clubbing instead!” Seulgi added cheerfully, clapping her hands in excitement.
“What?” Taeyong and I asked in unison, a bit surprised by Seulgi’s statement.
“That’s my prescription for the two of you,” she started, and I rolled my eyes. Taeyong and I didn’t get along as well as she wished for us to, but it wasn’t that bad. We didn’t need to bond over a few drinks in a crowded club. We would do just fine if Taeyong learned to go easy on me. “I believe we all can benefit from clubbing.”
“How come?”
“First of all, it will remind Taeyong that dancing is about fun, not overworking oneself,” Seulgi spoke, and I hummed, agreeing with her. “Second of all, it’ll give you a chance to loosen up. Your moves are still a bit stiff during intimate parts of the choreography,” she added, and Taeyong nodded in agreement. “And I really need something to drink because wedding planning is stressful as fuck.”
Not even thirty minutes later, we were inside the club.
“It’s a very sensual song. And you two really have to work hard to convey emotions through your dance,” Seulgi started as she sipped her tropical cocktail. “You must feel comfortable around each other and just ooze longing and sexual attraction,” she added, and I almost choked on my drink.
Performing with Taeyong was going to be more difficult than I had anticipated. When Seulgi and Taeyong showed me the choreography, I was amazed. Absolutely blown away. The way their bodies moved in synchronization left me speechless, but at the same time, I was a little bit nervous because I didn’t see myself living up to their level.
I wouldn’t consider myself particularly sexy. It made me feel awkward when I thought how seductive the dance routine actually was. I wasn’t sure I could pull this off, but Taeyong still had a lot of time to teach me.
“Take her to the dance floor,” Seulgi elbowed Taeyong, almost spilling his drink. Unenthusiastically, Taeyong looked at me before standing up and extending his arm.
Drunken people were jumping around us to the rhythm, and I awkwardly swayed from side to side, staring at Taeyong. With godlike precision, he moved, getting lost in the music. One could tell straight away Taeyong was a professional dancer.
Upon noticing how stiff I was, Taeyong shook his head, yanking me against his lean body. “How about you take a five-minute break to get that stick out of your ass? You look like you have no joints,” he yelled into my ear, his breath tickling my sensitive skin.
“I’ve had too little alcohol,” I replied, but Taeyong wasn’t having it.
“When we perform on the stage, will you need alcohol to let loose too?” Taeyong challenged with a playful smirk, and I rolled my eyes, too prideful to admit he was right. I couldn’t participate in that competition drunk. We wouldn’t win if I wasn’t able to come out of my shell and show everybody I had a sensual bone in my body.
“No,” I yelled into Taeyong’s ear. “How do I let loose?” I asked, hoping to hear some words of wisdom from him.
“Mirror what I’m doing,” Taeyong guided, and I nodded, focused on my new task. I could do that. I had been mirroring Seulgi’s movements during our classes, and I was pretty good at doing it. I could copy Taeyong’s moves.
At first, Taeyong danced a few classic moves we usually did during our warm-up routine. It was easy, and I think I nailed it. Later, he wiggled his upper body, feeling the rhythm. With envy, I observed how his body executed every single move, owning it. I wish I was half as good as Taeyong. Next to him, I probably looked like a crippled kid.
Upon noticing my struggle, Taeyong began jumping around, throwing his hands in the air. He looked ridiculous, but I remained focused on my task, dancing as if I was his shadow. Our bizarre moves earned some attention from other people, but our eyes were trained on each other, slowly getting lost in our own bubble.
I was sober, and I was on my way to owning the dance floor. I couldn’t believe it was happening. Maybe Taeyong’s charisma overshadowed my poor attempts of showcasing mine; however, I was sure I made a big step in the right direction. Slowly, I was improving.
“How about we spice it up a little bit?” Taeyong shouted into my ear, and I cocked up my eyebrow, thinking what he meant by that. “Don’t be shy,” he added, yanking me against his body. Taeyong was so close I could feel his legs rub against mine. “Come on, sweetheart. Touch me, tease me, feel me up,” Taeyong snickered, getting on my nerves. Not only Taeyong was smug for no reason, but he also quoted the song, which I was slowly growing to hate.
Taeyong must’ve assumed I’d back out. Surely, he didn’t expect me to follow his instructions and actually run my hands across his chest, shoulders, and back while simultaneously swaying my hips, earning approving stares from impressed men on the dance floor. At first, he was surprised he talked me into it, but a second later, he smirked, resting his palms on my sides, slowly exploring the valley of my butt.
I had no idea I had it in me, but Taeyong helped me discover it. We were basically grinding against each other, and it somehow didn’t feel awkward at all. We were just two people having fun.
“I’m sorry I was so harsh on you,” Taeyong apologized, shouting in my ear. “I’m just stressful all the time, and I think I may sometimes take it out on you,” he added, and I looked at his face, which was dangerously close to mine.
“It’s understandable,” I replied as I wrapped my arms around Taeyong’s neck, finding it much more comfortable. Now with our bodies pressed together, it was easier to have a conversation. “I know how much you want to win this competition. I’ll try harder,” I promised, and Taeyong released a relieved chuckle.
Who would’ve thought an adult conversation would work better than shouting at each other?
“Thank you,” Taeyong spoke genuinely, and I pulled away, staring at his face. His eyes were trained on mine. No matter how many hours we had spent at the dance studio, his gaze still intimidated me sometimes.
“Ekhm, I need a break,” I said in a desperate need to break eye contact with him. The dance floor was crowded, and it was making me dizzy. I was getting dangerously hot, and it seemed like heaven to get back to our booth and finish our drinks.
“Of course, you need a break,” Taeyong teased, sending me a lopsided smirk. “It’s okay, though. We still have plenty of time to work on your stamina,” he added as he grabbed my hand, leading me out of the crowd. Carefully, we zigzagged around drunken people, trying to make it safely to Seulgi.
Unfortunately, by the bar counter, someone walked into Taeyong, almost knocking him down.
“I’m very sorry,” a man shouted, but I could sense the words weren’t genuine.
“Doyoung,” Taeyong spoke, gritting his teeth, staring at the other man. Taeyong’s grip tightened around my hand. I figured he didn’t particularly like Doyoung.
“Taeyong,” Doyoung sighed, checking Taeyong out from head to toe before his gaze shifted to me. There was something spiteful about his lingering eyes, but I couldn’t pinpoint it. For sure, there was some bad blood between two men, and I suddenly felt an urge to know more. Inquisitiveness got the best of me.
Taeyong and Doyoung kept glaring at each other almost as if it was a competition. The tension was so intense one could cut it with a knife. I cleared my throat in a poor attempt to break their stare contest, but they didn’t even acknowledge my presence.
“I saw your last performance,” Doyoung finally spoke, scoffing. “You’re getting out of it, and here I expected to kick your ass in the finale. I wouldn’t be surprised if you and your partner got eliminated next week.”
I thought I had seen Taeyong furious, but right now, I was proven wrong. The way he looked at me whenever I was a handful during our practice was nothing compared to the way he glared at Doyoung. Taeyong was scary, and I decided to not get on his wrong side ever again.
“I’d gladly kick your ass here, but I’d rather wait for the finale. You know what people say about prolonged gratification,” Taeyong talked back, and I gasped, trying to comprehend what I just heard. Taeyong was getting cocky, and it made me nervous. I was already stressed about the possibility of performing, and he just added more pressure on my shoulders.
“We’ll see about that,” Doyoung replied, focusing his scrutinizing gaze on me. “But I have to say I kinda look forward to seeing you cry again. The way I beat you the last time was spectacular.”
“Let’s go, Taeyong. Don’t waste your breath on him. He’s not worth it,” I exclaimed, pulling Taeyong’s hand, reminding him I was there the whole time. I couldn’t listen to Doyoung talk trash about Taeyong. If Taeyong wasn’t going to walk away by himself, I had to intervene and pull him aside. Doyoung was provoking him.
“And who is that?” Doyoung asked in a mocking tone, displeased by the way I looked at him. Though I didn’t know the back story, I took Taeyong’s side. At least, Taeyong didn’t try to humiliate his rival, while Doyoung had already tried a few tricks to tick Taeyong off.
“You’re right,” Taeyong said, looking at me. It was evident he was holding himself back, trying his best not to take the bait. “Let’s go,” he added, pulling me away from Doyoung.
“Who was that?” I asked as we approached our booth. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my response. Upon arrival, we noticed that Seulgi was sprawled on the table, giggling to herself.
“Is she always like this?” I inquired, concerned about how drunk Seulgi got in such a short amount of time. We were gone for thirty minutes tops, and she was barely conscious after drinking her and our drinks.
“Aww… there you are… my dear friends,” she cooed cutely, trying to attack Taeyong with cuddles. She was adorable, but it was kind of irresponsible to drink by herself when we were on the dance floor. Thankfully, nothing happened. We returned just in time to collect her and escort her home.
“I can’t believe my plan worked,” Seulgi grinned, pointing her finger at Taeyong. “You no longer have a stick up your ass,” she exclaimed at Taeyong, too drunk to realize she should be talking to me. “And look at you! You were having fun!” Seulgi yelled, extending her arms to hug me. “I am so proud of you!”
“I should take her home,” Taeyong reasoned, considering it the safest option. He could call an Uber for Seulgi or just phone her fiancée to pick her up but bringing her home himself seemed to be the most rational solution. “Will you be alright by yourself?” He inquired, and I nodded right away. It was sweet of him to look after me too. Thankfully, I barely touched my cocktail; I could get home safely on my own.
“Don’t worry about me,” I replied casually, sending him a reassuring smile. “Just make sure Seulgi makes it home safe,” I added, warming up at the way Taeyong hauled up Seulgi, carefully leading her out of the club. It made me wonder if Johnny did the same to me. Probably. He wouldn’t be that gentle, though. If anything, he’d throw me over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes. Or just drag me out like a corpse.
“Give me a call once you get back home,” Taeyong demanded before we parted ways.
 ***
“You went clubbing without me?” Johnny dramatically asked after I told him everything that happened on the weekend. Despite my detailed narration, it seemed as if that was the only thing he caught on to. “How could you?”
“Relax, dude,” I rolled my eyes, shuffling around my desk, getting ready for work. It was Monday morning – it was about time we start our gossip routine.
“And I was wondering… would you mind helping me researching this shady dude? There’s some conflict between him and Taeyong. And I need to know what happened,” I started, wondering if Johnny would cooperate with me and put his stalking abilities to good use.
I was too embarrassed to ask Taeyong about Doyoung. Besides, I had a hunch he would either brush me off or scold me.
“Do you know anything about this dude besides his name?” Johnny pulled out his phone, no questions asked. “Please, don’t tell me that’s the only thing you know.”
“I mean… he’s probably a dancer,” I added with a sheepish smile, making Johnny heave a deep sigh. “He must be a big deal, though. Apparently, Taeyong lost a competition to him.”
“I’ll try to find some dirt, but it may be difficult given how little info you gave me,” Johnny declared as he began his thorough research.
It took Johnny five minutes to find the correct Doyoung. It was remarkable. If it wasn’t enough for the FBI to hire him, I’d gladly present them a recommendation letter. Quickly, I opened Doyoung’s profile on my phone, scrolling through his feed.
At first glance, Doyoung seemed to be a regular bratty internet star with an overgrown ego. His follower count was impressive. Studying his profile, I learned a lot about him. Unfortunately, it had no value. There was nothing specific about his conflict with Taeyong.
“How was your date with Wendy?” I asked Johnny as I gave up on my research. Whatever was the root of their bad blood would have to remain a mystery.
“It was fine,” Johnny started, but I could tell he wasn’t entirely honest. His disappointed tone betrayed him. “She left before the waiter brought the dessert. Apparently, she didn’t particularly like when I kept calling her Wanda.”
“Ouch.”
“No hard feelings, though,” Johnny shrugged it off, trying to focus on the positive aspect of their terrible date. “At least, I’ve had two slices of cheesecake. Besides, I’m kind of into Sooyoung from the creative team now. I think she is the one.”
“Every girl you’re into is the one,” I interjected, rolling my eyes, done with his antics.
“Oh, by the way, I’ve forgotten,” Johnny chimed in, staring at me in excitement. “Taeil asked me about you,” he revealed, and I almost spat out my morning coffee.
“What?”
“Are you still into him, though?” Johnny inquired, rubbing his temple in deep thought. “I haven’t heard you gush about him these days,” he pinpointed, and I wondered if my crush on Taeil was still as intense as it was a few months ago.
Taeil was insanely hot. I kept drooling whenever I saw him operate the printer. It was inappropriate to check him out whenever he bent down to change the ink, but I couldn’t help myself. Or whenever we met by the vending machine.
Good old times.
Right now, though, I rarely caught myself thinking about him. At first, I thought it was due to a hectic schedule. I was either at work or at the dance studio or getting shit-faced with Johnny on another wild adventure with him and his friends.
It was difficult to comprehend how easily my crush faded into thin air. Taeil was still sexy as fuck, but while I appreciate his looks, I wasn’t daydreaming how to get into his pants. At this point, I was just admiring his attributes in the most nonsexual way imaginable.
Apparently, the lack of response on my part was everything Johnny needed to confirm his suspicion.
“So what? Are you into Taeyong now?” Johnny asked boldly, and now, I actually choked on my coffee, thinking I heard him wrong. How did he jump to that conclusion?
“What?”
“Don’t get me wrong, but it kinda looks like you’re into him,” Johnny commented, playing with a pen. “You talk about him all the time with lots of passion. I think there’s something going on between you two. Is he single?”
“I talk about him all the time because I live to complain, and recently he’s the sole reason why I gotta vent,” I defended, but Johnny didn’t seem convinced. “And I don’t know if he’s single. I don’t really care,” quickly, I rejected all accusations, but in all honesty, his words got me wondering.
Was I attracted to Taeyong?
Surely, Taeyong was ridiculously attractive. He danced well, too. Unfortunately, we didn’t click much. There was passion between us, but it wasn’t romantically stemmed. We just kept annoying each other. I wouldn’t consider it sexual. We were just getting on each other’s nerves often, unable to properly solve our differences.
“Whatever helps you sleep at night, honey,” Johnny teased, and I fought the urge to throw the stapler at him. “I bet fifty bucks you’ve imagined him naked, fucking you dumb.”
What the fuck, John???
I did not imagine Taeyong naked!
Not until now, at least.
“I seriously hate you right now,” I complained, deciding it’s about time I focus on work.
 ***
After Johnny had planted naughty thoughts in my mind, each dance practice was unbearable. My mind was running wild, coming up with different scenarios involving Taeyong and me in intimate situations. It was wrong on so many levels, but I couldn’t bring myself to stop.
After months of practicing the dance routine, we decided it would be best to make some changes to the choreography. Though it was still sensual as hell, with our hands roaming each other’s bodies, we found it crucial to accentuate Taeyong’s talents.
It was a strategic plan. While typically male dancers helped the female dancers shine, we put a little twist to it. Though our performance was still pretty balanced, Taeyong had a few crucial parts of choreography, in which he would snatch everybody’s hearts.
Seulgi didn’t object to our strategy. Well… she was never there, to begin with. Seulgi was a ghost, never present during our practice, always busy doing some last-minute wedding prep.
“Let’s take a five,” Taeyong hollered as he turned off the music, sending us off to a short break. It sounded weird when it came out of his mouth, but I didn’t complain. We’ve been practicing nonstop for the past hour. At this point, I was panting.
Lying down onto the floor, I rested my head on my towel, reaching for my phone. Quickly, I unlocked it to see a series of notifications from Johnny. He had sent me a link to a video, telling me in all caps to watch it.
Having left the earphones in the locker room, I played the video quietly through my phone’s speaker. It was a short film with Doyoung. It must’ve been his performance from last year’s competition. Jamming to the music, I studied his moves.
Doyoung was really good. I mean… it wasn’t professional expertise, but I could tell he had talent. His body control was impeccable, his hip thrusts must’ve impregnated plenty of women in the audience, but his shoulder rolls were just otherworldly. Along with the female dancer, they showcased quite the performance. From the beginning to the very end, I couldn’t look away, failing to notice Taeyong approach me.
“What the hell are you doing?” Taeyong shouted, tearing my phone from my hand, double-checking what I was watching. “Why are you watching this?” He angrily asked, locking the device, wishing for it to stop playing music.
It was difficult to explain.
I couldn’t exactly tell Taeyong that I asked my best friend to do research on Doyoung in hopes of finding out what was the root of their conflict. Though we had never found anything substantial, Johnny would send me more footage to check out. However, regardless of how much stuff Johnny had provided me with, I was still clueless.
“Why are you shouting at me?” I spoke, biting on my bottom lip. I was in big trouble, so it was only logical to play dumb.
Taeyong stared down at me, demanding a genuine answer. His jaw was tensed, his knuckles around my phone turned white. It was just a meaningless clip, but it got him fuming at me. Regardless of what I’d tell him, he wouldn’t like the answer. I figured this much.
“Why were you watching that?” Taeyong yelled, raising his hand, almost smashing my phone against the floor. Thankfully, he held back and gently put it on my bag.
It was incredible how much the video affected Taeyong. The movie worked on Taeyong like a red rag to a bull. One moment he seemed fine, but once he figured out what I was watching, he snapped.
“You really want to know?” I challenged as I rose to my feet, staring at him. It was my turn to raise my voice. If he kept shouting at me, I was going to give him the same treatment. “Ever since that night at the club, I was curious. You were basically throwing daggers at each other, and I really wanted to know what happened between you two. You never bothered to explain it, and I didn’t want to push you.”
“Do you have your answers now?” Taeyong exclaimed, and I rolled my eyes, agitating him even more with my fed-up behavior. He was scary right now, but I refused to let him intimidate me. “Or do you want to read my diary too?!”
I resisted the temptation of saying yes to his offering. Taeyong wasn’t the type of person to write a dairy. He was exaggerating, but I didn’t want to provoke him further. At any mention of Doyoung’s name, wrath took control over Taeyong, turning him into his destructive self.
“If it makes you feel any better, I know shit about him,” I confessed, throwing my hands in the air. “I wanted to know what he did to you, but I came up with nothing. And believe it or not, the way he treated you that night made me worry. You’re my dance partner, and I care about you a lot, and it really hurt me seeing you in distress,” I spat, not thinking about consequences. I was talking without filter, probably spilling too much information.
My verbal diarrhea confused Taeyong. His huge eyes were staring at me in astonishment. He was studying my expression, wondering if everything I said was true. Oh, no! My reckless words made him uncomfortable. He must’ve grown to hate now.
In embarrassment, I looked down at my shoes. I felt terrible, and I needed to come up with something clever to say to save my dignity and ease the tension. However, before I managed to voice my sincere apology, I felt Taeyong’s hands cup my cheeks as he surged forward and kissed my breath away. It was sudden, but I reciprocated the kiss in an instant.
Stress, anxiety, anger, sexual frustration, and probably many other factors led us to this very moment. I had been daydreaming about Taeyong’s mouth on mine for a while now. And when it finally happened, I eagerly swept my tongue across his lips, deepening the kiss. Though I had tried my best to withstand the tension between us, I wasn’t oblivious to it.
Taeyong already knew almost every inch of my body, so his hands naturally began roaming across my skin. Moaning into the kiss, he held me closer, keeping me pressed against him.
“Taeyong,” I breathed out as I pulled away, only for Taeyong to smash his lips against mine again, successfully shushing me. This time around, the kiss was even more passionate, making my knees weak. In a rush, Taeyong pushed me against the wall, pushing his thigh between my legs. “We shouldn’t,” I spoke, but my tone wasn’t convincing at all. I wasn’t even sure who I was trying to convince that it was a bad idea.
“Shut up,” Taeyong demanded as he tilted his face, sucking on my bottom lip. His hands were on my butt, kneading my flesh, trying to make me moan into his mouth. In all honesty, it worked. Maybe, I whimpered incoherent sounds, but it’s was just a poor attempt to encourage him to keep kissing me.
Regardless of how much he was to gift me, I needed more. I wasn’t going to stop until I’d take everything Taeyong was willing to give.
I craned my neck to the side, and Taeyong quickly caught on, leaving a wet trail down my neck. His lips were delicate, careful not to leave a mark, while his hips were grinding against me, letting me feel how stiff he already was.
“Legs,” Taeyong ordered, gently slapping my thigh. Obediently, I spread my legs apart, letting his hand cup my sex. It was ridiculous how horny he was making me. Once his raspy voice echoed in my ears, I fulfilled his wish, waiting for another command in excitement.
“Please,” I begged, needing more of him. Whatever he planned on doing to me, I needed it now. Whether he was to tease me with his beautiful fingers or fuck me raw with his cock, he better do it now.
“Patience, sweetheart,” he whispered against my skin, pressing feather-like kisses along my collarbone. His touch was driving me insane. His hands were everywhere but where I wanted them the most. This type of teasing should be illegal.
It was more than I could take, so I took matters into my own hands. I could play this game, too. With a mischievous smirk upon my face, I hooked my forefinger under the band of his tracksuit bottoms. Unfortunately, Taeyong quickly swept my hand away.
“You’re such a bad girl,” Taeyong commented before he captured my lips again, sliding his tongue into my mouth, knowing I’d talk back to him. “You have to do everything your way. Would it kill you if you listened to me at least once?” Taeyong muttered, staring into my eyes.
Yes, I was a brat. Taeyong wanted me to submit to him, and I would do it eventually, but not before I’d tease him first. What was fun in that?
“Don’t answer that,” he added, and I rolled my eyes. Though we barely hung out outside the dance studio, Taeyong learned a lot about me. Having an answer to everything was one of those things he had the pleasure of discovering.
“Just fuck me, please,” I said nicely, staring into his eyes, hoping it would be enough to make him cave. “I can’t take it any longer,” I added, rubbing my loins against his restrained cock, making him let out a guttural moan.
My plan was working. Slowly, Taeyong was giving in, probably taking his time to think about the consequences of letting me experience instant gratification. Orgasm would’ve been sweeter if he made me wait a bit more, but it was difficult for him to control his urges.
Without any doubt, Taeyong wanted to bury his cock inside of me as much as I wanted him to fuck me dumb. We withstood so many practices without jumping at each other – I should consider it foreplay.
“Fine, but I’m gonna eat you out first,” Taeyong spoke, and I almost lost it by just imagining his jaw going between my thighs. Swiftly, he knelt in front of me, pulling my leggings down to my ankles in one fluid motion. Having kicked off my gym shoes, I wiggled the fabric off my feet, sending it flying across the dance studio.
Taeyong ran his fingers across my panties, inspecting how soaked they already were. With a smirk upon Taeyong’s face, he pressed a chaste kiss against my skin above the waistband before he yanked the undergarment down.
“Beautiful,” he said under his breath before he surged his face, taking my clit between his gorgeous lips, making me tilt my head in pleasure. Frustration got me sensitive. Even the slightest touch got me purring in delight.
Taeyong licked and nipped at my entrance, and I run my hands through his hair, encouraging him to keep going. He flicked his tongue, and I buckled my hips, wanting more.
“I need your fingers,” I pleaded, looking down at him. Taeyong looked breathtaking, with my juices were dripping down his sharp jaw, with his lips turned into a satisfied smirk. He was proud of how he was making me feel. His glistening skin was the very evidence of his skillful moves. “Taeyong, please, I am so close.”
Though I didn’t expect him to, Taeyong listened to my humble request. His middle finger slid right it, making me purr in satisfaction. I could finally feel him inside of me, and it was heavenly. His palm moved quickly, working me up.
The first orgasm was building up. Taeyong was fucking me now with two fingers while his mouth was fiddling with my clit. If it wasn’t for Taeyong’s palm, holding me still, I’d buckle right into his face for more friction.
“I’m about to come,” I declared, shutting my eyes close. As tempting as it was to peek at the mirror on the other wall and check out the view of Taeyong eating me out, it was more than I could take. My instinct to squeeze my eyes shut and welcome the orgasm was too much.
Unfortunately, it didn’t happen.
Before tiny tingles of electricity could unite and explode, shooting through me like a lightning strike, Taeyong pulled away, denying me of my orgasm. It physically hurt when instead of a blissful peak, I felt nothing.
“What the fuck?” I barked angrily, ready to pull him by his hair against my sex and press him against me, so he could finish the job.
“We’re coming together, or we’re not coming at all,” Taeyong sternly replied, standing up. His lips were swollen from all the work he was doing, and they looked even more kissable.
“I’ve never pegged you for such a teaser,” I stated matter-of-factly, still a little bit butt-hurt over the way how smug he was about not letting me come first. Maybe I was a handful most of the time, but I didn’t do anything wrong to deserve such treatment.
“I’m not,” Taeyong chimed in, biting down on his lip. “There’s just something about you that makes me want to punish for your misbehavior,” he explained, and I got it where it came from. I wasn’t the best student he could work with. “Isn’t it the sweetest torture?” Taeyong challenged before he surged forward, smashing his lips against mine again, raising my thigh and giving it a gentle rub.
“Please, Taeyong, I need you inside of me,” I begged as I ground my sex against his rock-hard cock. I couldn’t comprehend how self-disciplined and patient he was; his budge was throbbing underneath his pants. It must’ve been painful for him, and he did all of that to teach me a lesson. “Fuck me, already.”
“Relax, sweetheart. I got you,” he softly spoke as he hoisted me up, pressing me tightly against the wall. “To be honest, I expected you to lose it sooner,” Taeyong added, and I hoped he was talking about my sanity. I endured more than enough; his teasing was too much.
“How should I fuck you?” Taeyong asked, looking around the practice room, seeking a perfect spot to stuff his cock inside of me. We didn’t have a lot of options, but I didn’t care. He could fuck me in the middle of the room, and I’d eagerly spread my legs for him. “Screw it,” he cursed, gently lowering me down onto the floor. “Do you mind?” Taeyong inquired, and I shook my head as I wrapped my legs around his hips, pressing him against me.
“Strip,” I ordered, and Taeyong smirked before he pulled his T-shirt over his head, revealing his lean physique. My eyes marveled at his beautiful shoulders and toned muscles. I had touched him more than I could count, but I never saw him bare, and when I finally did, I gawked.
“What about you, sweetheart? Come on, I am waiting,” Taeyong teased, and I took off my T-shirt. I was only in my sports bra, and Taeyong bit his lip, staring down at me, admiring my simple beauty. With no further comment, Taeyong leaned in, attacking my collarbone. It was hot how attentive he was, but right now, all I needed was his cock buried deep down my cunt.
Desperately, I reached to his sweatpants, palming his erection through the fabric. As soon as I touched him, Taeyong released a needy growl, rolling his hips into my hand, finally giving in to the pleasure. He lost his self-restraint, and now, he seriously needed to fill me up with his throbbing length.
“Take them off,” I breathed out, pulling by the hem of his pants. With a lowered head, Taeyong tsked before he yanked them down to his knees, wriggling out of them. Just as I expected, his cock urgently entailed my attention.
Though the thought of blowing him crossed my mind, I eventually decided not to entertain this idea too much. It was apparent Taeyong wanted to him inside of my pussy. I’d suck him dry on a different occasion. Hopefully, it would happen soon.
“Fuck me, Taeyong,” I moaned as I trembled when the tip of his cock brushed against my folds. I was embarrassingly sensitive after his ministrations, and he dared to tease me again. “Please,” I begged as I gave his length a few gentle strokes, aligning it with my entrance.
“Aaahh…” Taeyong growled, slowly pushing his dick inside of me. Inch by inch, he filled me up, stretching my walls. A lot of different sinful noises came out of his mouth as he began steadily thrusting his hips.
Taeyong’s stamina was no joke. It was hard to believe how long he could snap his hips without messing up his rhythm. His low voice mixed with my desperate moans echoed inside the room, creating a wicked symphony along with the sound of our sweaty bodies smashing against each other.
He was fucking me hard, and I was in seventh heaven. Taeyong was filling me up so good; I could come undone on his cock anytime.
“Taeyong,” I moaned his name as I watched him fuck me. Though it was hot to look at his cock disappear in my pussy, it was even sweeter to stare in the mirror. With my head turned to the side, I studied the whole picture how Taeyong was fucking me.
“I am coming,” I screamed as I felt the bliss approach. Taeyong was panting, struggling to maintain his tempo with the way my walls tightened around his sensitive cock. Once he hit my sweet spot, I was a goner. After a few thrusts, I came, digging my nails in his back.
“Fuck,” Taeyong cursed, shouting my name as he shot his load inside of me, collapsing on top of me. We were a breathless mess, our bodies sticking together, but neither of us minded. At this point, we were too spent to care. “You were incredible,” Taeyong whispered as he pulled out, rolling to the side.
“You weren’t that bad yourself,” I panted, giggling, still recovering from the mind-blowing orgasm. Thankfully, Taeyong didn’t pay much attention to my playful jab. “I meant it what I said,” I added, turning around to look at him.
“I’m sorry for yelling at you,” Taeyong started, staring into my eyes, showing me his sincerity. “I just can’t help myself but get angry when I see him or hear about him,” he continued, and I nodded my head, letting him know I was willing to listen.
I didn’t expect that Taeyong would agree to vent to me, but when he did, I patiently heard him out. After all, I was pretty sure we were at least friends now.
“It all happened about a year ago. We were competing in the same contest, and he made my dance partner quit. Doyoung seduced her, toyed with her, and once the trophy was his, he dumped her. Because of him, I was disqualified, and she quit dance altogether.”
Listen to his story made me both sad and angry. Doyoung had been a dick to interfere like that – he must’ve known he hadn’t stood a chance against them in a fair fight. My blood was boiling in my veins as I put all the pieces together.
Sadness took over next. The way Doyoung had manipulated Taeyong’s dance partner was upsetting. The wound had been cut so deep, she couldn’t have forced herself to keep going. Doyoung had wrecked two lives, and it made my blood boil, too.
“We’re gonna beat him. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure we do,” I spoke, reassuring him. It was impossible to tend the wounds, but the least I could do is help Taeyong win. For what he had done, Doyoung deserved punishment. If I were Taeyong, I’d not hesitate to beat him up.
“I hope so,” Taeyong muttered, reaching for my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. “It’s still fine if we don’t. I’m pretty sure karma will get to him eventually,” he added with a sigh.
“I’ll work harder,” I declared, feeling an extra wave of determination wash through me. “I’ll try my best,” I said, and Taeyong smiled fondly, content to hear me say it.
“Thanks. It means a lot to me.”
For a while, we were staring at each other. It felt nice and somehow more intimate than all the fucking we had done. If we were in bed, I could do it all night. Unfortunately, we were still lying on the uncomfortable floor.
“Let’s get washed up before we get too sappy,” I added, trying to ease the tension. I really enjoyed it, but it was getting a little too much.
“I hope you don’t mind sharing the shower with me. You know… water bills are a bitch,” Taeyong spoke, and I giggled at his bullshit excuse, finding it incredibly cute, considering what we had been doing a few minutes ago.
“Of course they are,” I deadpanned, chuckling. Though his excuse was lame, I liked Taeyong enough to go with it. “Come on. Let’s go. I don’t want anyone to catch me naked.”
 ***
After that one time at the dance studio, Taeyong and I made it a regular thing. However, we kept it civilized. We wouldn’t jump each other’s bones in the open like animals like we had done the first time. Usually, we would go on small kind-of-dates, which consisted of picking up food, going to my or his place, and then rolling in the sheets.
We were having lots of fun. It was a perfect way to de-stress. After all, the finale was this Saturday, and we were nervous as hell. In all honesty, I was still scared, but these orgasms were numbing my anxiety.
“I think that’s it,” Taeyong spoke, and I smiled brightly, unable to contain my joy. It was the first time Taeyong ever approved of our performance. Most of the time, he was nitpicking, complaining about the slightest mistake, but finally, he was satisfied with it.
I was ecstatic; I never expected to live up to Taeyong’s approval. Through hard work and persistence, I managed to earn his eulogy.
“What should we do now? How about we order some food?” I asked, feeling in a celebratory mood. Maybe it was a little bit too early to drink to this small success, but it’s still worth a shot.
“We should do it again. We should dance it flawlessly at least a couple of hundred consecutive times before celebrating,” Taeyong seriously replied, and I rolled my eyes. Despite his painstaking nature, a couple of hundred times, it was a bit too much. Even for him. “Don’t give me that look. Let’s start again; five, six, seven, eight.”
Though usually, I’d complain and try to force him into a five-minute break, right now, I was oddly energized. We were dancing for the past two hours, and I was panting out of exhaustion. Nevertheless, the thoughts of finally mastering the choreography kept me going.
“I’m pretty good at this,” I confidently commented while roaming my hands across Taeyong’s shoulders before he twirled me around to the rhythm. I could tell that Taeyong was just waiting for an excuse to pause the music and scold me for making a mistake. However, much to his dismay, I executed every move impeccably. “I had a pretty good teacher,” I added, stroking his ego. The D-day was approaching, and Taeyong obviously needed an extra boost of confidence.
“I must admit you were a piece of work. I have no idea what kind of sorcery is this,” Taeyong teased, staring into my eyes. We had practiced the routine plenty of times; we could probably perform it in blindfolds and not make a single mistake. “I must be a magician or something.”
“Don’t push it,” I warned him in a very non-threatening tone, making him smirk. “But it’s only partially your success. Seulgi told me I have the it™ factor,” I proudly said, cracking Taeyong up, messing the choreography. “Is it a student-has-become-the-master kind of moment?” I asked, laughing at Taeyong. For the dance prodigy, he was getting distracted way too easily. It was suspicious.
With a broad smile upon his face, Taeyong grabbed my wrists, making me look at him.
“How about we finish up for today? I have a surprise for you,” Taeyong said, and I cocked my eyebrows, biting my bottom lip. “Not that kind of surprise,” he added, rolling his eyes at me. “We might get it on later, though.”
“What kind of surprise then?”
“Wait a second,” Taeyong spoke, quickly jogging out of the practice room. In a minute, he was back with a garment bag in his hands. “Here, that’s for you. Seulgi came in the morning to drop it off for you,” he explained, and I pulled down the zipper. It was going to be my costume for the contest, and I was curious how it looked.
I was speechless. At first, I thought it was a joke. I wouldn’t be able to perform in that. However, the more I looked at it, the more sense it made. It was a simple white suit shirt, but when mixed with a leather body harness, high-waisted shorts, and boots, it fitted the concept beautifully.
“Do you like it? I thought it was too revealing, but Seulgi insisted you would look amazing in it. I mean… it fits the mood, but if you’re not comfortable with it, we still have some time to find something else,” Taeyong blabbered, and my heart swelled. It was very sweet of him to consider my comfort above anything else.
“It’s skimpy, but it’s fine. I like it,” I replied, having no idea where my confidence was coming from. A few months ago, I’d be anxious to even try it on in the confines of my bedroom. However, now I was planning on showing a lot of skin on national television during prime hours on the weekend. I must’ve gone insane.
“Do you want to try it on?” Taeyong challenged, pulling the hangers out of the bag.
“You mean… here?!”
“Come on, it wouldn’t be the first time you took off your clothes in the middle of the practice room,” Taeyong concluded, smiling at me mischievously.
“Pass,” I firmly rejected his dare, even though it felt tempting. “It’s not fun when I’m doing it alone,” I added, and Taeyong grabbed the hem of his T-shirt, more than ready to discard his clothes in a blink of an eye. “Don’t fool around,” I warned him, placing my hand over his before he managed to take his T-shirt off.
“You’re right. Let’s go to my place first,” Taeyong agreed, zipping the bag before he grabbed my hand, leading me out of the practice room.

On the day of the performance, I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. No matter how much fantastic sex Taeyong and I had, I was not mentally prepared to perform in front of the whole nation. I felt sick, almost as if my body was telling me to quit before I’d embarrass myself on national television. Stress was eating me from the inside.
“What are you doing up so early? Let’s go back to bed,” Taeyong purred in his raspy morning voice as he sneaked his arm around my waist, pulling me against him. “You need to be rested before the performance. Trust me, you don’t want a camera to catch you yawning,” he added, nuzzling his nose in the crook of my neck, breathing hot air against my skin.
“Thanks for giving me one more thing to stress about,” I deadpanned, heaving a deep sigh, staring at the ceiling. It was a mistake. I should have never agreed to Seulgi’s proposition in the first place. What the hell was I thinking? “I think it’s a bad idea. We should quit.”
Taeyong wasn’t in the mood for my nagging so early in the morning; he was having none of it. “You’re being ridiculous. We’ve practiced so much. We’re gonna win it with ease,” he declared, pressing a featherlike kiss against my jaw. “But for real,” he added, climbing on top of me, trapping me between his thighs, “we’re going to win. And even if we don’t, it’s fine. Really, if somehow we lose to Doyoung and his partner, I’ll just punch him backstage.”
“How can you say that?” I said with a sigh, running my hands across his thighs, finding it rather calming. “I know you said we should rest, but how about…” I trailed, and Taeyong smiled before eagerly capturing my lips, reading me like an open book.
“Say no more,” Taeyong whispered before his hands traveled under my shirt.
Unfortunately, Taeyong’s phone started buzzing on the nightstand before he managed to pull my panties down. With a groan, he extended his arm, staring at the screen.
“It’s Seulgi.”
“What are you waiting for? It’s her wedding day. Pick it up,” I yelled at him as I fell on the pillow, admiring his handsome face when he was talking to Seulgi.
“Please, not you, too,” he barked, rubbing his face in annoyance. Though I barely could make out what she was saying, I figured this much Seulgi and I were suffering from the same stress-fuelled illness. It was her wedding day, after all. Even if it was obvious she loved Irene with a burning passion, she wasn’t immune to pre-wedding anxiety.
Seulgi was talking her stress away, and Taeyong just hummed and nodded his head, registering her words. For some reason, the pressure didn’t seem to bother Taeyong at all. It was weird, but at least he was the voice of reason, which could help me and Seulgi cope.
“Breath in, breath out,” Taeyong spoke when Seulgi made a pause long enough for him to interject. “I know it’s a big deal, but there’s nothing to worry about. You’re getting married to Irene. You love her so much,” Taeyong reminded her, winking at me, expecting Seulgi to end the call soon. “Everybody’s a little nervous; it’s completely normal.”
It was beautiful how close Taeyong and Seulgi were. They had each other’s backs in all types of situations.
About ten minutes later, Seulgi finally calmed down. Taeyong’s reassuring words swept the anxiety away, and she was more than ready to get married to the love of her life.
Once Seulgi hung up, Taeyong threw his phone on the bed and secured my legs around his hips before he leaned forward, giving me a quick kiss. “Seulgi says hi, by the way,” he added, sneaking his hand under the hem of my panties.
“What?”
“What do you mean what?” Taeyong looked down at me, creasing his eyebrows in confusion.
“She knows?” I yelled, unable to comprehend how, on Earth, Seulgi figured out I was in Taeyong’s bed. She couldn’t know. She wasn’t even there when our romance bloomed. “How?”
“Yeah, is it a bad thing, though? You didn’t want to fuck me in secret, did you?” Taeyong challenged, not really answering my inquiry. Did Seulgi figure it out on her own? Or did Taeyong told her about us? And, the biggest question mark was: what were we to begin with? “Seulgi must have some sort of sixth sense. She was bothering me about the sexual tension between us since day one of your training.”
“I wouldn’t call it sexual tension per se, but there was something going on,” I replied, reminiscing how rocky our beginning was. “But I think we were interrupted…” I reminded him, and Taeyong with a playful smirk on his face dived right between my thighs.

The streaming should begin at 8 p.m., but we had to arrive before 5 p.m., so the make-up artists and stylists could prepare us for the performance. Sitting in that chair and waiting for all pampering to be over with was stressful as fuck. I tried to preoccupy myself with an idea of Taeyong, but whenever someone threw a question in my direction, I was being pulled out of my train of happy thoughts.
I wanted to get on the stage and be done with it. Unfortunately, whoever funded that contest didn’t think of the mental health of its participants when making today’s schedule.
Punctually, the show began its transmission at 8 o’clock. However, at the very beginning, the MC had to introduce all sponsors. Going through them took him about twenty minutes. Then, they interviewed some of the eliminated dancers, asking them questions either about their experience in the competition or simply who they thought would win.
Later, they decided to rewind the contestants’ moments in the show. At first, they showed Doyoung and his partner, and a few experts analyzed their performance, wondering what the odds of them winning were.
When the host announced the rewind of Taeyong’s and Seulgi’s stages, the jury only talked about the sudden switch up, confirming it was the first time it ever happened in the grand finale. It startled a lot of people why would Seulgi drop out, but Taeyong explained it in a brief interview.
“It was a crazy coincidence, but Seulgi couldn’t participate today because she is getting married today,” Taeyong revealed, and the audience cooed loudly, obviously supporting her choice. “I was stressed at first, but Seulgi found an amazing dancer to take her spot. She really chose well,” he added, and I looked at him, trying not to cry in front of everyone.
It was almost impossible to fish out a compliment from Taeyong during practice, but right now, he did it on his own accord, melting my heart with his words.
“Everybody is dying to know more about your partner,” the MC started, shifting his attention to me. I didn’t particularly like to be put in the spotlight, but before I managed to spit some nonsense, Taeyong butt in, rescuing the day.
“Although she doesn’t have much experience in dance competitions, I think she’s a great dancer. To think of it, she is my secret weapon,” Taeyong added, and I almost ran into his arms, feeling too overwhelmed by his speech.
“Alright then, let’s see what you got after a short commercial break,” the MC cheerfully announced before I bolted out of the stage as I felt the stress crept into my head.
“Calm down,” Taeyong softly spoke as he approached me, holding my hand, drawing circles with his thumb. “You’ve got this. Just focus on me,” he added, flashing me a reassuring smile before kissing my knuckles.
“Awww… isn’t it adorable?” Someone snickered, and I didn’t need to turn my head around to know it was Doyoung. He was like a venomous snake, trying to sneak into our subconscious and make us even more anxious. It couldn’t be fair play.
“Buzz off,” I barked as I didn’t want to let him tick Taeyong off. Taeyong was my safety pin, and I didn’t want him to go full rage on Doyoung. Their backstage battle would make it to the news, but I’d rather prevent it from happening.
“With Seulgi on your arm, I was giving you a five percent chance of winning,” Doyoung started, ignoring my warning. “Now, when she’s gone, I won’t even have fun beating you on the stage,” he added, and I almost surged forward to punch him. If it wasn’t for Taeyong, who held me in my place, I’d definitely rearranged Doyoung’s face.
“Don’t let him get into your head,” Taeyong whispered into my ear, and I nodded my head, sighing. Then, it struck me. Doyoung’s motive wasn’t to mess with Taeyong but with me. He knew I was the weakest link, and he wanted to guarantee his victory by making me doubt myself. His words rung in my head, but one look at Taeyong helped me relax. We had practiced it a thousand times; there was not a chance I would make a mistake.
“Come on. Let’s go. They’re calling us out,” Taeyong mused, pulling me towards the stage.
The silence filled the auditorium when we got on the stage, taking our respective places. I stole a glance at Taeyong – he was mouthing words of encouragement seconds before the MC announced our performance.
I can hear it callin'
Loving the way you wanna talk
Touch me, tease me, feel me up
Callin', something in the way you wanna talk
On two sides of the stage, we moved to the rhythm, telling the story of two strangers lusting over each other from afar. With hunger in our eyes, we tried to seduce each other with sharp movements, showcasing our attributes.
You got me sayin', you got me sayin'
How you doing? Tell me what's your name (Ey, tell me what's your name?)
What's your sign? Feeling like you are into me
Taeyong ran up to me like a man enchanted by the siren’s voice, rolling his body against mine. It was his moment to shine; everybody’s eyes were on him as he owned the stage with his overflowing charisma.
Baby, we're two distant strangers
I know you don't speak my language
But I love the way she's talking to me (Talking to me)
I can hear it callin' from where you are
Loving the way you wanna talk
Touch me, tease me, feel me up
Touch me, tease me, feel me up
It was a classic game of cat and mouse. Though our bodies were so close to each other, we moved in perfect synchronization, careful not to brush against each other. The chemistry between us was undeniable, and the feeling of yearning was visible from the very last row.
Max, max, max, we can have it all (To the max)
If you back, back, back, back, back it up (Back it, back it)I'll take you where you wanna, got the gas in the tank (Wow)
If you really wanna make it last (Git, git, git)
Finally, as the song slowly progressed to the end, we were showing intense frustration. We were portraying two individuals, yearning for intimate contact, who were hastily losing their minds over uncontrollable passion.
I can hear it callin' from where you are (Callin', woo)
Loving the way you wanna talk (Love the way you talk)
Touch me, tease me, feel me up (Yeah, yeah)
Touch me, tease me, feel me up
The song was to end soon. The last chorus rolled in – it was our cue. After all teasing, we finally made the connection, ready to combust out of raw craze. After three minutes of painful longing, we were to reach completion.
I can hear it callin' from where you are (Callin', woo)
Loving the way you wanna talk (Love the way you talk)
Touch me, tease me, feel me up (Yeah, yeah)
Touch me, tease me, feel me up
It was all or nothing. We were finally together, touching each other with fervor.  The audience was eating our performance up – particularly when Taeyong showcased his flexibility and body control.
Tell me how you like it babe (How you)
I don't even know your name (How you, ey)
I love the way you're talking to me
It was finally time to finish our performance with a bang; we needed to show something spectacular, something Doyoung wouldn’t ever think about. As the singer began the last verse, it was my cue to run into Taeyong’s embrace. The second the last syllable rolled of the singer’s tongue, Taeyong caught me in his arms, and the lights went out to add a dramatic twist to our performance.
For a while, the audience was silent. However, a few seconds later, they roared in excitement, clapping loudly, showing how much they enjoyed our stage.
The MC was congratulating us, but I was too thrilled to register his words. I still couldn’t believe I performed on national television and didn’t trip and smash my face.
I had no idea how I found myself backstage, but there was a high chance Taeyong led me off the stage. I was too overwhelmed to do it on my own.
I even forgot that Johnny, together with Yeri – the love of his week, had backstage passes. I only remembered that when he wrapped his arms around me in a bear hug, congratulating me.
“You gotta quit that office job and start dancing professionally,” Johnny ordered, and I smiled, glad that he enjoyed my performance. “We both gotta quit. You’ll be dancing, and I’ll be a badass FBI agent.”
“You two were great,” Yeri politely said when Johnny let me go. “Thank you so much for letting me backstage.”
“No problem,” Taeyong replied as he grabbed my shaking hands. “Are you okay?” He asked, cupping my face, making me look at him. “You rocked the stage,” he added before he leaned forward to peck my lips.
Ignoring Johnny’s perplexed expression, I wrapped my arms around Taeyong in a comfortable hug. I hadn’t suitably introduced Johnny to the concept of me dating Taeyong, but hopefully, our interaction got the message across.
Emotions were slowly fading away, but I still needed Taeyong’s support. I was a rookie, and I had no experience with this type of stress. Something was calming about Taeyong’s aura; I couldn’t pinpoint what exactly, but I wasn’t going to question it.
“Anticipation is killing me,” I muttered against his skin. “Can he already go on that fucking stage?” I yelled, wondering why Doyoung’s performance didn’t start yet. I knew the MC was building up tension, but it was too much for me to handle.
“We could always skip,” Taeyong casually spoke, and I pulled away to look at him. What the hell was he talking about? I hadn’t agreed to help him out, so we didn’t wait until the end. “If we lose, we lose. If we win, your friend can accept the prize, can’t he?”
“Are you insane?”
“Maybe a little bit,” he answered with a bright smile, brushing stray hair off my forehead. “I just want to know the result already so we can go to Seulgi’s wedding and congratulate them,” he added, and I nodded my head. Though we couldn’t participate during the ceremony, the least we could do was to show up ridiculously late to the reception.
“Can they hurry the fuck up now?” I craned my neck, trying to find Doyoung and his partner. They were arguing about something right behind the curtain. Everything seemed they weren’t in the right headspace.
“I don’t think I want to see their performance,” Taeyong whispered, tightening his grasp on my waist. “How about a quickie in the dressing room? What do you say?” He proposed, and I smacked him, telling him to behave. It was tempting, but we really shouldn’t. I wouldn’t walk up that stage with messed-up post-sex hair.
“Get a grip,” I added, gently elbowing him. “Let’s just hit the snack table. I am hungry,” I spoke, pulling him away when the MC invited Doyoung and his dance partner onto the stage.
While munching on snacks, we stared at each other fondly. In some weird way, we were helping each other cope with anticipation and stress. Though it was tempting to check out their performance, we decided it was for the better if we didn’t.
They performed to “Hips Don’t Lie,” and it was almost impossible to turn my head around to check out Doyoung’s sick moves. Having considered all the videos I had seen of him, I was sure he looked gorgeous.
“What about a little peek?” Taeyong questioned, unable to control his urge to see his rival’s performance. “I thought I could endure it, but I can’t,” he added, and I nodded, giving in. Instantly, we ran to the nearest screen to watch their stage.
It was everything I imagined. Their moves were executed with precision and grace, but entertainment-wise, I was bored. They had the skills, but something about the general concept didn’t fulfill my expectations.
No matter how great of a dancer Doyoung was, he just could not pull this song off as the original artist did. Regardless of how hard he swayed his hips, it just didn’t live up to its potential. Though I wasn’t educated enough to give an honest review, it felt meh.
The audience in the studio whistled and shouted once they finished their performance, giving them a round of applause. With genuine smiles, Doyoung and his partner bowed before they ran off the stage.
Now, only thirty minutes of aggressive advertising, and we would know the winner.
“Is it too late to agree to that quickie?”
“You should’ve said so earlier,” Taeyong answered with an innocent smile as he reached to hold my hand. “The best I can do is cuddles,” he added, leading me to the couch, letting me rest my head on his shoulder. “It feels nice.”
“It does, but it doesn’t take my mind off things like a quickie would.”
“Don’t even try. I am not going on that stage with a boner in my pants,” Taeyong warned, peeling my hand off his thigh, pressing a delicate kiss against my knuckles.
Though it wasn’t as preoccupying as sex, it was still nice. And most importantly, it took our minds off the unbearable anticipation. A staff member actually needed to gently shake Taeyong’s shoulder to remind us that the MC was calling us to the stage.
Taeyong’s hand didn’t leave mine once we were waiting for the big reveal. It was fine if we lost. Next year, Seulgi and Taeyong would definitely make it to the top.
When the MC announced the winner, a few confetti bombs exploded. The audience roared in excitement, but I had no clue what was going on. Uncertainty was over – one of us won.
Stress, anticipation, and anxiety slowed down my reactions. However, I figured it would be weird if Taeyong picked me up and spun me around in his arms if we lost. It could only mean one thing – we did it.
We won.
Taeyong’s acceptance speech was short and simple. He thanked everyone who succored him discover his passion for dancing, who supported him throughout his dream, who directly helped him get this far, and me.
When I was handed the microphone for the first time that evening, I basically rephrased Taeyong words. Maybe it wasn’t my dream, but it felt damn good to assist Taeyong in achieving his. It was a bumpy road, but overall, it was all worth it.
The MC handed me a statue after shaking my hand, congratulating me once more. Taeyong, on the other hand, was gifted a huge check for 20 thousand dollars.
“Let’s go,” Taeyong whispered to me, running off the stage with me.
 ***
It was shortly before midnight when the Uber parked in front of the hotel where Seulgi’s and Irene’s reception took place. It was beautifully decorated with lights and flowers, making it look like a magical castle.
Though the security didn’t want to grant entrance, one of Seulgi’s aunts recognized Taeyong and told the man to let us in. She was nice enough to help us out, but she still found some time to glance disapprovingly at my stage costume. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gossiped to her entire family I was a prostitute.
As soon as we walked into the ballroom, Seulgi noticed us. She was sitting by the table, eating the wedding cake with Irene. In an instant, she rose from her chair and ran up to us, throwing herself on Taeyong’s neck.
“You won! I knew it!” She shouted as she gave Taeyong a bone-crushing hug. “Irene and I sneaked out for a while to watch your performance. You smashed them,” Seulgi added before she turned to me, congratulating me too.
“You were amazing,” Irene approached us, sending a polite smile. Unlike Seulgi, Irene was much calmer and collected.
“You are finally married,” Taeyong spoke, beaming. “You better have everything recorded. I gotta know every embarrassing thing that I missed,” he added in a teasing manner, earning a playful jab from Seulgi. “I bet you cried during your vows.”
“Congratulations,” I chimed in, breaking their friendly banter before it properly started. It was Seulgi’s wedding day, after all.
After we caught up, Seulgi and Irene walked off to the dance floor, leaving us by the table alone. For a while, we admired them. They looked absolutely stunning in their white suits, dancing, basking in happiness.
“Do you know where the gifts are held?” I inquired suddenly, looking around.
“Why? Did you have time to get them anything?” Taeyong asked before he stuffed his mouth with a chocolate glazed strawberry. “Or are you thinking of stealing some?”
“I just want to give them my part of the prize,” I started, making Taeyong choke on the fruit. “Seulgi’s the rightful winner, and I think it’s only right.”
“Are you sure? It’s a lot of money.”
“Yeah, I know, but I really want to do that,” I replied, fiddling with my fingers. “I don’t need this money, so I want to give it to her.”
“You’re so hot right now,” Taeyong said, making me turn my head in embarrassment. “If that’s what you really want to do, do it. But remember, you earned it.”
“I am sure.”
“Then let me spoil you with my prize,” Taeyong offered, staring into my eyes. At first, I thought he was joking, but when his gaze didn’t even falter, I understood how serious he was. “Well… look at that. What are the odds?” Taeyong spoke as a familiar melody echoed within the walls of the grand ballroom. “It’s our song. Shall we dance?”
Having glanced at Seulgi, who whispered something to the DJ, I smiled at Taeyong. Though I was sick and tired of Love Talk already, it was kind of our song. We had been listening to this song too much, and regardless of how good it was, the prospect of it being our anthem terrified me.
“One last time,” I gave in, accepting Taeyong’s invitation, letting him lead me to the dance floor. Despite having mastered the choreography to it, I just wrapped my arms around his neck, slowly waltzing to it.
“That’s nothing like we practiced,” Taeyong pinpointed, and I chuckled, shaking my head. “I don’t mind, though. It’s comfy,” he added as his hands found purchase on my hips.
“Seulgi doesn’t look pleased. She didn’t expect us to perform, did she?” I whispered into Taeyong’s ear, hugging him closer. “Also, it can’t be our song. We have to change it; the sooner, the better,” I complained, but Taeyong just chuckled into my ear, humming softly.
Instead of giving me an actual answer, Taeyong decided to sing it.
“I love the way you're talking to me.”

Graduation Party ~ MYG [Request]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WORD COUNT: 1.1K
PAIRING: Yoongi x reader
GENRE: fluffy, graduation party, cute yoongi,
A/N: I’m sorry its so short! But congratulations on graduating again!!!
Tumblr media
Yoongi knew he wasn't going to be able to attend your graduation ceremony so he was planning something big. He didn't want you to have to go to your ceremony alone and then to some boring party so he was going to do something for you. Everything had been in the works for weeks and he was finally ready for you to come to the studios.
"She's on her way up, tell everyone to hide," Yoongi told Namjoon as he looked down at the photograph you had just sent to Yoongi. Standing in your gap and gown holding your diploma with the biggest smile on your face. All those years of studying and exams finally paying off and making you happy, even Yoongi felt as though he had accomplished something. With all those late nights of helping you study he was sure he could have taken the test too. The boys began hiding around the dance studio while your friends and family hid around the room.
Those who knew about your relationship with Yoongi had been invited weeks ago, he wanted this to be something special. As far as you knew, no one could come to see you graduate because they had conflicting schedules.
"I'll go and meet her," Yoongi whispered to Jungkook, heading out of the door and toward the elevators. Doing his best to act as though he wasn't super excited to get you into the dance studio.
"There she is! My graduate!" He yelled the moment the doors opened, you practically screamed rushing over to him and hugging him tightly. All you had wanted to do that day was hug him, hold him and never let go.
"I did it," You whispered as he kissed your shoulder, rubbing your back softly as he continued to hold you in the hallway. Ignoring the looks he was getting from the other staff members in the room.
"I'm so proud of you baby," He smiled as you pulled back, looking up at him as he took your face in his hands. Running his thumb along your cheek as tears began to run down then. You weren't always so emotional but hearing Yoongi tell you that he was proud of you for this made you feel it. All of your hard work had finally paid off and you were leaving University with a degree and a happy life.
"I wasn't the-" You were going to say the best in your class but Yoongi shook his head, not wanting to hear anything negative fall from your mouth.
"You did the best you could! That's all you can ask for," He wrapped his arm around your shoulder, walking in the direction of the dance studio with you.
"I just need to get my bag and we can go for dinner." That was the lie Yoongi had convinced you of. That the two of you were going to go for dinner together that night in a small family-run restaurant.
"Sure," You mumbled taking off your cap and gown, rolling them up in your arms to reveal the dress you had picked out that morning. Yoongi took one look at you and smiled happily, wearing your favourite coloured dress and you looked beautiful. To Yoongi you would always look beautiful but tonight there was a glow to you that made you more beautiful.
"Why are all the lights out?" You mumbled flicking the switch on the side of the wall when someone suddenly jumped up making you scream out in surprise.
"SURPRISE!" Jungkook screamed blowing a noisemaker right next to your ear making you whimper a little. Tears gushing up in your eyes as you turned to look at everyone in the room, each and every one of them clapping for you.
"I thought you were all busy," You sniffled looking at your family members who were smirking at you.
"You think we would miss celebrating your graduation?" Your mum asked as she walked over to you, hugging you tightly as you pushed your head into her chest.
"Thank you," Your mother shook her head at you, pointing over at Yoongi who was standing beside the food table trying to make sure everything was perfect.
"Yoongi organised everything." You looked at Yoongi and smiled, this whole time you thought he had been stressed over work and it was over all of this. The late nights and secret meetings all finally had an explanation.
Tumblr media
"Thank you," You breathed out as you hugged Yoongi from behind, pushing your head into his shoulder blades as he smiled.
"Anytime angel, you enjoying the party?" He questioned, feeding you one of the cake pops that were shaped like graduation caps. Everything was so well done and organised it was hard to believe Yoongi would do any of this for you.
"Very much, you're the best boyfriend in the world." You whispered as he smirked, wrapping his arms around your waist so you would stand in front of him.
"You have presents back at the dorms but I have one here for you." He pulled something out of his back pocket and you frowned. A small white envelope in his hand and a huge smile across his face. Another thing he had been hiding from you for a while, having a few close calls with you seeing the tickets too.
"What is it?" You laughed as he gave you the envelope to open, watching you with anticipation all over his face.
"Yoongi..." You sighed looking at the plane tickets that were in the envelope, your dream holiday destination splashed across them with all-inclusive deals beside them.
"It's a gift, you can't say no...W-Well you can but I want us to do this, 2 weeks away. Just the two of us, no work, no distractions." You couldn't believe that he was willing to do this for you, two weeks alone.
"You're doing this just for me?" He smiled at you, running his hand over your cheek and nodding. His eyes never leaving yours as you let out small tears,
"No crying, this is a good thing." He chuckled kissing your forehead softly,
"Besides, we both need a nice relaxing holiday." He told you as he began to feed you more cake pops and food bits that were closest to him on the table. It was safe to say that the two weeks you had ahead of you were going to be the most romantic and relaxing vacation you would ever have in your entire life. All thanks to Yoongi who couldn’t wait to spend some one on one time with you.

Six A.M. – Claire quietly shut her door and softly padded down the hallway toward the dining room.
The Ridge’s sleeping quarters reminded her of her college dorm – a long hallway of single rooms, with a shared bathroom at the end of the hall. Women were up here on the second floor – men were in a separate wing on the other side of the dining room, which with the therapy rooms and administrative offices sat at the middle of the large building.
As she entered the dining room, she smiled a hello at Glenna, a kind middle-aged woman who organized breakfast, among dozens of other jobs. Glenna had had a terrible addiction to pills – “just like you, dear, and I overcame it, so you can too” – and had found a home at The Ridge keeping the whole operation running.
“You’re up early,” Glenna remarked as Claire poured herself a cup of coffee.
Claire stirred in cream and sugar. “I haven’t been able to sleep.”
Glenna set down a tray of piping hot cinnamon buns. “It will be a while before you do. Remember, your body is still in shock. It will take longer than you want, to find a new rhythm. Be patient.”
“I will. Thanks, Glenna.”
Glenna gestured with her head toward the porch. “He’s out there.”
Claire frowned. “Who?”
Glenna smiled. “Who do you think? It’s none of my business – but you’re well-suited.”
Claire piled two cinnamon buns on a plate, her heart beating a bit faster. “There’s nothing going on between us. Besides, isn’t it against the rules?”
Glenna set one hand on her hip. “Not yet there isn’t. And since when did the rules ever stop either of you?”
Claire smiled and shook her head, already crossing the empty dining room.
As soon as she popped her head outside, she saw him – alone in the corner of the porch.
As she approached, she saw he had an acoustic guitar on his lap, strumming quietly, scribbling in a notebook.
“Good morning.”
He looked up at her, suddenly beaming. “Early to bed, early to rise, hmm?”
She held out the plate, and he took a bun. “I figured, might as well get up.” She sat down next to him, set down the plate, and took a long sip of coffee. “Do you always get up this early?”
Chewing, he turned back his guitar, plucking quietly at the strings. “Yeah. Being here is the first regular sleep schedule I’ve had in years. This may sound terrible – but I realize now that I’d forgotten how to fall asleep.”
She wrapped her hands around the coffee mug. “What do you mean?”
He tapped the side of the guitar. “I was drinking two bottles of Jack a day, Claire. I’d have it with breakfast, throughout the morning, before a gig, after a gig. I’d just pass out at some early hour, with some girl who I’d picked up at the gig or at a strip club after the gig, and then wake up sometime the next day. And when I wasn’t touring – I’d still drink a lot. Hang out with my friends, or with the band – go out, hit the clubs, maybe do a few bumps of coke. But it would always end the same way, passed out on a floor or a couch or, on better nights, my bed.”
She watched a blue jay flit from tree to tree, down below in the forest.
“I had so many chances over the years to wake up. It’s so clear to me now. There was one day when we were in the studio, laying down a new track – and I needed to take a break, so I’d gone to a smaller practice studio next door. With a speedball in my pocket. So I helped myself to it, and I don’t remember what happened next, but my producer tells me that a few minutes later I’d buzzed him on the intercom, and asked him for a gun so that I could shoot the men in top hats who were coming out of the speakers.”
Claire swirled her half-empty coffee cup. “I’d work three days on, three days off. It’s a punishing schedule – but I knew that going in. After a long day with several surgeries, I’d crash. Sometimes I’d have to be on call, so I’d sleep in this little room we had upstairs in the staff area. It had two sets of bunk beds and a shower – all a body needs. But I’d be so wired from the adrenaline – from needing to focus so much on the patients – that I couldn’t sleep, you know?”
He nodded. “I know. I know exactly what you mean.”
“The pills helped me sleep. That’s what I told myself at first. And I didn’t feel terrible when I woke up – especially if someone was banging on the door, giving me a five minute warning to get back downstairs. I could get all of the sleep with all of the alertness on the other end. But then…well.” She sighed. “Then it got to the point where I told myself I couldn’t sleep at all if I didn’t have the pills – even on my days off. Because I had to sleep, to make up for the sleep I’d lost when I was on call. And then I was taking them during the day, to calm down.”
He turned a new page in his notebook, pulled out a pen from behind his ear, and scribbled something.
“I guess you’re working on something new?”
He nodded. “Sometimes the music comes first. Sometimes it’s the lyrics that come first. But if I don’t write it down, I won’t remember it the next day.” He frowned. “Come to think of it – it must be because my memory was so shot from the booze, that I wasn’t even capable of remembering.”
He cleared his throat, and set down the guitar, and picked up a cup of coffee. “What do you think? You’re a doctor, after all.”
She smirked. “I’m a surgeon, not a neurologist. But it sounds plausible. Can you remember things better now, that you’re sober?”
He nodded. “It’s crazy. I just feel so much…clearer. In control. It’s good to be in control.” He took another bite of cinnamon bun. “Are you feeling that?”
She sighed. “I’m feeling. I didn’t want to feel anything for the longest time. But now I’m feeling…just feeling.”
Footsteps on the deck behind them – Rupert, shuffling in his bathrobe, blearily waving hello, clutching a gigantic cup of coffee.
A beat.
How to find common ground outside of their addictions?
“Can you tell me more about that song you’re writing?”
He set down his coffee and picked up the notebook, flipping back to the previous page. Set it on the table between them. Picked up his guitar. Looked down at his notes. Started to sing – his voice quiet, clear, strong.
Without you, there's no change My nights and days are grey If I reached out and touched the rain It just wouldn't feel the same
Without you, I'd be lost I'd slip down from the top I'd slide down so low Girl you never, never know...
Without you, without you A sailor lost at sea Without you, woman, the world comes down on me
“I don’t know where to go from there,” he said, continuing to play slow notes on his guitar. “Need more verses, of course. Maybe a space for a guitar solo. I don’t know.” He looked up at her. “What do you think?”
Rupert clapped and hooted from across the porch. Giving Claire enough time to find her voice.
“I think you’ve got a keeper there,” she said softly.
He held her gaze. “I’m glad you think so.”
“Play Freebird!” Rupert shouted.
They shared a smile.
Claire’s world tilted just a little.

His Destined Miracle (Asahi Azumane x Chubby Reader) (omegaverse)
POST timeskip
Asahi had been in love with you practically since the first time he saw you. He'd find himself taking walks around the office just to catch sight of your beautiful face and sunny, warm demeanor. He always wanted to approach you, but he'd never had the courage. All he could do was hope that he encountered a miracle. Going into a rut during a day that office was NOT a miracle to Asahi. In fact, it was one of his worst nightmares, but when you show up on his doorstep, looking like an angel from heaven, he realizes that miracles come in all different ways... and that you were his destined miracle.
ABSOLUTELY NO MINORS ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
“Hey Y/N can you run these copies to the boss’s office, I have to go to the bathroom or I think I might die!!” One of your over-dramatic coworkers asked as they practically threw a stack of papers at you. They were shifting back and forth, their knees knocked as they hopped around in a little bathroom ‘dance’
“Yeah, it’s no biggie.” You replied, giggling quietly to yourself as they hobbled/ran quickly towards the restrooms.
You looked down at the stack of papers in your hands, admiring the brilliant pieces of art on each page. The boss would be very happy with these. Of course, if he was unhappy with them, he wouldn’t tell anyone, the boss was the type who if he didn’t like what he saw, he would improve it and then deny all credit. Some in the office called him a pushover, but you thought that it was sweet that he did that.
You stood from your cubicle and began to walk to the bosses office, it was on the other side of the floor but you had already been planning on getting up to stretch your legs out soon anyway, so it had worked out.
You strolled through the office, not in any particular rush to get to the boss’s office. You greeted people that you passed, you knew everyone on your floor by name and you knew at least one fact about them, if they had pets or kids, what their hobbies were. You did this so that you’d never run into someone and not be able to ask them a question about their personal life, this ‘technique’ is what had made you so popular around the office, every time you would talk to someone, they would walk away with a smile on their face.
Your naturally sunny demeanor had always been your redeeming trait. When you were young, kids would mercilessly bully you. The names they would call you, ‘fatty’ or ‘ugly cow’ along with the treatment you received for being an omega was enough to tear a young you apart. You had started being overly nice to people to make up for all of your shortcomings, you found that if you were constantly sucking up to them and making them feel better about themselves, they wouldn’t hurt you.
Unfortunately, this had led to you not only being incredibly insecure with very low self-esteem, but also a doormat for people to walk all over. You were always doing people favors, getting them coffees, paying for their snacks at vending machines, even doing their work for them. Your friends would tell you to stick up for yourselves, they would even tell people off if they treated you poorly in front of them. They had begun to practically beg you to start saying no to people, but you didn’t mind being a bit of a push-over. After all, you still thought of yourself as a worthless, fat, omega cow that couldn’t do anything right and if you could be useful to someone, even if it meant staying an extra hour to file their paperwork for them, it was worth it.
You frowned at the memories as you walked, catching sight of yourself in the large windows that overlooked the beautiful city outside. You winced. Even though your friends were constantly telling you that you were beautiful inside and out, it was still hard to look at yourself in the mirror. All of the traumatic events of your childhood had really affected you. It was almost impossible for you to look at yourself and not despise the person you saw.
You arrived at the boss’s office, giving a light knock on the closed door.
“Come in please.” You heard the soft voice call from inside. You twisted the knob, opened the door, and entered the room, gasping at the sight before you.
Hundreds of designs were strewn across the floor, tacked to the walls, and pulled up on the computer monitor, and in the middle of it all sat a six-foot-two alpha who was currently smiling shyly up at you, his hand rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment of the mess.
“Hel-”
He stopped, his eyes wide as they stared at you. Clearly, you weren’t the person he’d been expecting. He stared at you for a solid five seconds, saying nothing as his eyes were frozen on you, making you feel extremely self-conscious and a little hot under the collar.
You cleared your throat, snapping him out of his daze.
“Excuse me.” You said. As soon as you’d spoken the boss had got up onto his knees and looked around as if wondering how he would get to you without ruining his designs.
“Sorry about the mess.” He mumbled, a large blush blooming on his cheeks as he scrambled up and towards you, trying (and failing) to avoid stepping on the designs.
“Please! Don’t apologize!” You stumbled, matching his anxious energy as your face adopted a blush of its own. “I just came to give these to you!” You squeaked, your arms holding out the designs as your gaze locked on the cluttered floor.
“Oh.” The large male said gently, his shoulders relaxing. “Thank you.” He said, more confidently this time. He’d noticed that you were emitting a strongly anxious scent, and something about it must’ve scared him and made him think that he was scaring you.
“Your welcome.” You practically whispered, your eyes not daring to meet his, “Have a good day.” You rushed out before rushed back out of the room, letting the door almost slam behind you.
‘Dammit!’ you thought, mentally slapping yourself. You couldn’t believe you’d made such a fool out of yourself. You just couldn’t help it, the boss was super intimidating. Plus he was an alpha.
Being an alpha meant that, since you were an omega, you had a natural urge to submit to him, it also meant that he was incredibly intimidating, borderline scary.
Usually, it didn’t matter that you were an omega. You took scent and heat suppressants to control your natural omega tendencies. The suppressors made it to where no wolf could smell you and you couldn’t smell any wolf. People could smell the basics on you, fear, happiness, sadness, they just couldn’t smell your natural scent, the scent that gave you away as an omega. The suppressants also kept you from smelling other wolves and ‘losing control’ of your own scent as a reaction. This all meant that even if you encountered betas and alphas in your daily activities, they wouldn’t know you were an omega and you wouldn’t be able to smell their natural scents either.
The only exception to this was when an alpha was in a rut, when they were rutting their noses were strengthened tenfold and they could sniff you out in an instant., but thankfully, society had progressed to the point that ruts were an excused absence from your job. Another time that the suppressants weren’t at their full potency was during your heat. Yes, it suppressed almost all of your scent, but depending on the strength of your heats, some would still leak out. Thankfully, heats were also excusable by employers. Luckily you’d never had to leave work for heat, you’d always been able to track it and take off plenty early so you could lock yourself in your apartment and suffer through it, and you’d also been lucky enough to never encounter a rutting alpha.
*******************
Asahi Azumane, aka the boss, was still standing in front of his closed door. He stared at the closed door, the designs he’d been given loosely clutched in his hands.
‘Dammit!’ he thought. He couldn't believe how he’d reacted. How embarrassing!
Ever since the newest member of the floor had begun working at the studio as a financial advisor, Asahi had been incredibly infatuated. Even though he’d never held a conversation with her due to his busy schedule, he never failed to notice the way she lit up the office. Everyone liked her and got along with her. Sometimes he’d overhear people talking about her, or sometimes he’d even overhear her talking to someone, she always seemed so warm and kind that Asahi couldn’t help but be a little jealous that he’d never received the honor of ever talking to her.
When she had been the one to open the door to his office, he’d been practically incapacitated. As soon as his eyes had hit her body he’d forgotten how to talk.
As a designer he couldn’t help but admire the classy style of her outfit, the warm red-orange turtleneck tucked into a pair of brown and tan flared slacks paired with black platform boots. It took all of his willpower not to pull out a pencil and sketch it for inspiration.
And as a man, he couldn’t help but admire how the outfit fit your body perfectly. The way that it hugged your form, complementing and accentuating the curves of your figure. It was enough to take his breath away and make the alpha in him roar with the need to claim and protect such a precious sight.
Unfortunately for Asahi, as soon as the encounter with the angel began, it ended. He was beating himself up for not saying something, for not inviting you to dinner, for only staring like a lovestruck loser.
‘She probably thinks I’m a total loser...or even worse a pervert!’ he thought glumly. He sulked back over to his designs, frustrated at himself for not being bold enough to call after the beautiful girl and ask for her number.
‘Then again,’ he thought, ‘Y/N is way too out of my league, she’d reject me in a heartbeat. Or even worse! She’d say yes out of pity!’
As he continued to work on his designs, the thought of the angel that had visited him was clouding his mind, making work impossible. He just couldn’t seem to forget the shape of her lips as she spoke or the way that the perfect outfit laid on her perfect body....her perfect hips….her perfect breasts.
“Fuck” he grunted quietly, shifting uncomfortably as he realized that he’d thought himself straight into having an erection.
‘I just couldn’t help it. She’s so beautiful.’ he thought.
He tried to struggle through his… problem, but it seemed that the more he tried to ignore it, the more it persisted. It was actually to the point that he was sitting in the middle of his office, red-faced and panting with a painfully obvious tent in his pants.
“What the fuck is happening?” He grunted, feeling his canines start to lengthen and his claws emerge. Could he be going into rut already? He wasn’t due for at least another week!
Was it seeing Y/N that made him go into rut early? How? Y/N wasn’t his mate….right? No. He would’ve known if she was his mate by her scent. He had no recollection of ever smelling her, was she on suppressants, was there a chance that she could be his mate?
‘Yep.’ Asahi thought as another wave of heat and desire burst through his body, ‘I’ve started my rut early…. I need to get out of here…. Need to go home.’
He practically crawled to his desk, grasping desperately for his phone so he could call the receptionist and ask her to remove all of the females on the floor from the building. The last thing that he needed or wanted was to set off any omega’s heat by accident.
“Hello, Mr. Azumane. Is everything alright?” The receptionist asked, surprised at the call seeing as Asahi rarely called, opting to physically walk to the desk and ask. He thought that it was more polite this way, plus it gave him a chance to catch a glimpse of Y/N at her desk.
“I need all of the women on the floor to temporarily evacuate, I’ve gone into a rut.”
The receptionist on the other end, that was used to dealing with Asahi’s over-anxious personality, just laughed.
“That’s incredibly unnecessary sir. I’m sure everything will be fine if you just leave out of the back stairs, you could even leave out of the fire escape if you’re that nervous.”
Asahi sighed and nodded. It was true that he’d be wasting everyone’s time if he asked for an evacuation. It wasn’t that big of a deal.
“Ok……” he said warily. “I’ll try.”
“Great!” The receptionist replied, “I’ll make sure to get someone to bring your work to your house tomorrow so you can continue to work from home.”
**********************
“Right here is good. Thank you.” You said, getting out of the cab and paying the driver. YOu glanced up at the tall apartment complex as the car drove away, leaving you to fend for yourself.
You thought back to what had happened not even an hour earlier. Yui at the front desk had asked you if you would be willing to take the boss some work. She said that he was sick at home and wanted to continue to work from there. Being the people pleaser that you are, you said that it was no problem and that was how you’d wound up standing in front of Asahi Azumane’s apartment complex with a thick file full of designs and a large container of soup.
You walked into the lobby before buzzing into Asahi’s apartment. Clearly, he’d been expecting someone to come with his work seeing as he buzzed you up almost immediately.
You entered and took the elevator to his floor, the floor third from the top. When the doors opened, you were met with a small entryway that led to a single door.
“A penthouse?” you mumbled to yourself. You couldn’t be super surprised, after all, he was the boss of your floor and probably made a very comfortable salary. Still, the building hadn’t looked small from the outside, and if Asahi had a whole floor to himself that meant that his flat was at least 4,000 square feet big. You knocked on the door.
It opened.
You automatically gasped.
The scent of sandalwood and rosemary hit you like a brick wall, forcing you to stagger back on your feet.
‘Oh, shit’ you thought, ‘they told me he was sick! Not that he was in a rut!’
You began to panic in the split second that the door had been opened. You wanted to run away, but seeing as Asahi was much stronger and faster than you, you knew that you wouldn’t stand a chance.
Maybe it wasn’t a strong enough rut to enable him to smell through your suppressants? No. There was no way it was a weak rut, not when Asahi was such a powerful alpha.
In your state of panic, you failed to notice two things. The first being the fact that your wolf was screaming something at you, and the second being the large alpha, looming over you in the doorway.
Asahi’s body was heaving with heavy breath. His claws were contracted and his canines were piercing through his bottom lip, causing the taste of blood to hit his tongue as he stared at the beautiful omega in the doorway to his apartment.
‘I didn’t know Y/N was an omega’
‘Why is she here?’
‘Can she smell that I’m in rut?’
Were all questions running through the alpha’s brain, but the most important thing running through his brain was the single word that his inner wolf was practically screaming at him.
Asahi looked down at you, causing a violent shiver to wreck through your spine. You whimpered, feeling yourself grow wet with desire. His lips curled back before letting out the most deafening growl ever. A growl so loud, you were confident that people down on the sidewalks had heard.
“Mine.”
As soon as the words came out of his mouth, you gasped and suddenly the voice of your inner wolf was crystal clear. ‘Mate!’ it was howling happily. Your eyes widened as the realization hit you like a ton of bricks. Asahi was your bond mate? YOUR BOSS WAS YOUR BOND MATE!
It made you want to faint out of surprise as well as anxiety. You considered if you could make a run for it, despite already knowing it was impossible. You were glancing at your surroundings when you finally remembered that Asahi, your mate, was still standing in front of you.
You looked at his tall frame in awe, your desire growing as you practically drooled over the sheer size of the alpha. He was huge, his broad shoulders, his built chest, and if you were to take a guess, you’d say that he was huge under the belt too.
You were so distracted ogling his body that you didn’t notice the way that his claws were digging into the flesh of his palms and how his canines had pierced his bottom lip hard enough to cause a small trickle of blood down his chin.
“Azumane! You gasped, setting the papers and soup on the floor in the hall before automatically stepping forward and grazing his hands with your own, careful to avoid the razor-sharp claws.
“No.” He grunted, trying to pull his hands out of your grasp. He feared if you stayed much longer he would do something out of his control, something unforgivable. “Please…..I don’t want to hurt you.”
You could see the pain and genuine fear in his eyes. You felt your heart fill with sadness and love at the same time. You couldn’t believe how much you’d been blessed. You had been given Azumane as a mate…. A man who was gentle and kind and was always so thoughtful of others. This was the man that you were destined to spend the rest of your life with.
Suddenly all of the fears and insecurities of not being good enough for people melted away from you. As your arms left Asahi’s hands to wrap gently around his neck, tears of happiness began to run down your face.
How could you have been so stupid? All of this time happiness and love had been right down the hall from you. You had deprived yourself of a partner to laugh with, to love, all because you felt inferior to others.
“You won’t hurt me.” You whispered, one of your hands nudging his face down closer to yours. “I trust you Azumane.”
Your lips were so close to his that you could feel his slightly labored breathing. His eyes were so close that you could seemingly see into his soul. You tried to tell him with your eyes just how hopelessly in love with him you already were.
Somehow, he must’ve felt it, because soon he was sighing into a soft kiss as one of his strong hands moved to hold your head as the other glided down your body to rest on your hip.
“Asahi….” he breathed, disconnecting your lips to look into your eyes.
“Huh?” you asked, slightly dazed from the passion of the short kiss.
“Call me Asahi, my love.” He said before once again joining your mouths in another heartfelt kiss, pulling your body flush against his own strong frame.
You moaned into the embrace, your arms wrapping tightly around his neck as he carefully swept you up off of the ground and began to carry you into his bedroom.
It all seemed like a whirlwind to you, but you couldn’t imagine it any other way. This was your soulmate…. Your other half.
Asahi’s body was alight with desire as well as he felt the effects of his rut in full force. He couldn’t believe how incredibly lucky he was to receive you as his mate. You…. the girl that he’d been admiring from afar, the one that, dare he say, he was already madly in love with. You couldn’t wait to spend eternity with you in his arms. When he held you, he felt like the strongest man in the world.
“Is this okay? I don’t want to force you. I’m in rut so I want you to be 100 percent sure that this is YOU wanting me, not your hormones.” Asahi whispered as he set you down on the edge of his bed.
There was no doubt in your mind that this was what you wanted. You didn’t care that he was in rut, you knew that the lust you were feeling barely had anything to do with your omega nature. You wanted him. You wanted him so bad that it made you want to cry.
“Asahi,” You whimpered, falling back onto his bed and staring up at him with a maddening blush on your cheeks. “I want you to claim me…”
“My love….” he growled before lunging back down at you, his lips attaching to your jaw with a renewed feverish manner.
“Asahi!” you gasped as his large hands roamed your body, his long fingers dancing across your hips that had been exposed as the blouse you were wearing was torn off of you, the buttons flying across the room.
He chuckled at your surprise before resuming his onslaught of love onto your body, his lips seeking out your breasts as his hands began to work at your slacks and then at his own clothes.
As soon as you were both fully nude, he leaned back, leaving reality to dawn on you as you realized that you weren’t actually fully over your insecurities. Your hands flew up to cover your face and stomach in embarrassment, you didn’t want Asahi to see you under such bright lights.
“I-I’m sorry I jus-” You whispered in shame, your eyes locking on a wall in his bedroom as you tried to explain.
“Let me see you.” He demanded, interrupting your pathetic stuttering with his strong hands clasping around your wrists and pulling them above your head. Your eyes closed tightly in humiliation.
Asahi’s eyes hungrily drank in your body. Every curve and arch was precious to him. He was practically drooling at how soft you felt under his hard body, how pliant you would be to his will.
“Beautiful,” he murmured to himself. Making your blush darken.
He brought his head down to your chest, his tongue piking out of his mouth and leaving a hot trail between your breasts. You moaned at the feeling of the appendage dancing its way down and across your stomach, down to your hips, until finally, Asahi’s head rested between your thighs.
His hands splayed out against the smooth flesh, admiring how soft they were in his grip. He could smell your arousal, turning him on that much more as he watched slick drip out of your hole and onto the meat of your upper thighs.
“One day.” He mumbled, half to himself and half for you to hear, “I will fuck these gorgeous thighs.” He said before swooping in and kissing the upper region of your legs. Biting and sucking dark spots into the sensitive skin.
“Asahi!” Was all you could manage to cry as his hands and mouth wreaked pleasurable havoc on your mind and body. You wanted him so badly. You could feel your cunt fluttering with need as slick dripped out of it, leaving a large damp spot on Asahi’s bedsheets.
“What do you want my love?” He asked, his eyes looking up from his position from in between your thighs to meet yours. You were suddenly overwhelmed at the sight of so much affection and adoration that laid in the dark brown pools.
“I want you Asahi….” you cried, panting as he quickly climbed up your body, lining himself up with you.
Both of you were hot and ready. The feeling and scent of desire clouding the room and leaving you both in a state of reckless lust. Nothing in that moment mattered but you and him.
Asahi connected your mouths once again as he pressed into you, his cock stretching your walls further than anyone had ever stretched them before. It felt so good…. so incredibly good.
“Asahi….” you gasped as he seated himself fully inside of you, the indescribable feeling of fullness making your body shake. “Please... Give me your cock.” A low growl ripped through his chest as his restraint finally snapped and his rut took over his mind and body. His hips began to snap in and out of your body at an almost lethal pace, leaving you writhing and gasping for air as you felt his primal instincts taking over.
“Yes!” you cried, your nails driving themselves across his upper back in a pathetic attempt to keep you rooted to this world. If the sheer size of his dick wasn’t enough to split you in two, it was the lightning-fast pace that his hips were thrusting into your body at, hitting all of the deepest areas of you, making you want to scream in pleasure.
As his cock drug in and out of you, rubbing against your walls so good that it took all of your breath away, you felt the tip of his cock but against your g-spot.
“Aah! Asahi!” You screamed, your walls clenching around him as stars painted your vision in pleasure. You couldn’t believe just how good he filled you up, how he reached every single place within you, drawing out the lewdest sounds, filling the rooms with your moans and cries as his cock pounded into you.
“You’re so beautiful” He gasped as you clenched around him, he was practically rapid with pleasure. He was slamming into you as his newfound goal in life was to please you, sucking on your neck as his hands roamed and gripped your body.
You could tell that since Asahi was in rut, his end was approaching much faster than it normally would and you would be lying if you said that you weren’t on the brink of orgasm as well. Apparently, Asahi had realized the same thing and was positioning himself to where he was hitting your sweet spot with every thrust, determined to make you fall apart first.
“Asahi!” You gasped, tears running down your face as your hands gripped his strong shoulders. “Asahi, I’m gonna come….”
“Yes, my love….” He grunted, picking up his pace impossibly more before bringing his fingers down to circle your clit. He could feel you getting closer and closer with the way that you sucked him back in with each thrust. “You take me so well.”
“Yes. Only you Asahi! You fuck me so good!” You babbled, your hips circling quickly in a sad attempt to keep up with the delicious feeling of his cock inside of you. You could feel the elastic of your orgasm pulling tight in your lower stomach. You knew that Asahi wouldn’t let himself come before you.
“Please….” you begged, teary eyes staring into Asahi’s lustful ones. “Please let me cum..”
“Yes my love.” he panted out, his thrusts becoming sloppier as he felt his own end rising. “Cum for me…” He said, his lips once again joining yours as your body was thrown off of the cliff into a sea of pleasure. You cried into his kiss, your body arching off of the bed as it shook with the overwhelming force of your orgasm. You swore that you temporarily went blind with the impact.
“I’m gonna come…..” Asahi breathed against your lips.
“Please…..come inside of me.” You begged, your legs wrapping around his hips and trapping his body against yours as his hips began to stutter and his cock burst inside of you, filling you with his hot seed.
“Fuuuuckkkk.” he groaned, pitching his head back as every fiber of his benign burned in the glory of his high. He continued to lazily thrust into you, bringing you both through your peaks.
As soon as you had been able to gain your breath again, he pulled you, leaving you incredibly empty. You whined at the loss.
“I need to take care of you.” He chuckled, climbing off of the bed to retrieve a towel from his bathroom to clean your body with. He kissed and massaged you as he gently wiped all of the cum mixed with slick off of your thighs, his face burning red at the lewd evidence of your lustful activities. You giggled as his docile, shy nature slowly returned, barely being able to make eye contact with you.
As soon as he was finished, he let you pull him back down onto the bed, despite both of you still being naked and sweaty. You closed your eyes, you knew that his rut would flare up again and you wanted to catch a quick nap before the second round.
Asahi just stared at your face as you drifted off to rest. You looked like an angel to him...so pure and beautiful. He knew then that he would always protect you, even if that meant laying down his own life. You were now his reason to live, you were his muse…..
You were his.

Minji’s masterlist
“Yeonjun and Minji both get lost in the HYBE building and end up meeting a senior. But it’s not the same encounter”
a/n: I’m aware the timing for the events mentioned doesn’t make sense. Do I care? No. Feel free to share your thoughts with me. Requests are open! 💚
Tumblr media
Minji stares into the long hallway and sighs confused. Ever since they moved buildings, she has been kind of lost, merely following along the boys whenever they had to go somewhere other than their "assigned" practice rooms and studios. But now, she's by herself, trying to find Yeonjun in a floor she's not even sure it's the one she's at.
Unlocking her phone, the girl walks lazily while calling the oldest. A whining tone leaves her mouth after he picks up "I have no idea where I am, can you come find me?"
"Yeah, that would be nice, but I'm not too sure where I am either" Yeonjun says, and she notices he's mildly panicking which makes her laugh.
"Which floor are you on? I can hear a song playing and there's a couple of dance rooms here, but I don't think it's the ones we use" Minji mumbles still walking and looking at the doors to find some kind of indication she can use to tell him.
"Funny thing is, I was talking with a staff in the elevator, but they had to get off, so I just followed them out to finish the conversation" The girl hears him groan "Wait, I can hear something too. Maybe we're in the same floor"
Stopping, Minji looks at the door where the song is louder and hums "I found where the music is coming from, meet me here"
"Sure, I'll be there shortly" The boy hangs up quickly.
Minji leans on the door, and almost instantly, the song from inside stops making her groan and hope that Yeonjun will at least keep walking to where she is. She doesn't, however, realize that the silence will most likely mean someone is getting ready to leave the room. So without processing anything, the girl feels the door on her back go missing, and she yelps tumbling back and bumping onto a person.
"Ow, ow, I'm sorry" Someone says hurriedly, holding Minji's shoulders to steady her and the girl turns around still startled. As she recognizes Hoshi from Seventeen, she gives him a small bow and laughs from the chain of events.
"That was so unexpected, it felt like I was going to die" Minji says still chuckling.
"Sorry again, I didn't know there was someone guarding the door" Hoshi giggles and notices her peeking inside the room, looking specifically at the set of push up bars set up for his solo. Grabbing her attention, he adds politely "They're there for a choreography we're practicing"
"Oh, I was wondering if they had turned this room into a gym or something" She smiles and looks back inside. "Push up bars, that's cool. Pretty creative, is it for the whole song or just the intro?"
Taken back by her interest, Hoshi scratches his head looking back inside "For the entire thing, though not every part is around it" He tries not to give too much away, but Minji is still staring around the space trying to figure out the staging of everything.
"Here, come inside" Hoshi waves her in and drops his bag by the door, while pointing around the room "The reference point changes throughout the song, so it starts from here, then it changes to the side, then it comes back. The bars are there to structure the space, but the main point of them is to hang upside down during the introduction"
"Wow" Minji gasps following with her eyes and picturing what he's saying "That's really cool, Sunbaenim. Do you think you could show me?"
"The beginning?" Hoshi widens his eyes and she nods calmly.
"You don't have to. I can wait for everything to be released" Minji giggles, and the boy thinks for a minute before walking to a push-up bar and effortlessly getting on it, so his legs are up and his hands hold the top bar allowing him to a 'sitting' position.
"So like, the theme is spider, right?" Hoshi asks not sure if she's aware of his mixtape. Nodding, the girl steps a little closer as he lets his body hang a little more. "So, think creepy like a spider. Hold the sidebar. One. Two. And let go"
Speaking while he does the first few seconds of his choreography, Hoshi laughs and jumps down while she wows again.
"That's really so smart. The little nuances... wow" Minji pouts and claps.
"Do you want to try it?" Laugh softly, Hoshi points to the bars and much to his surprise she nods. "Okay, just. Focus on your core while doing it"
Doing a little step with his hands, he helps her get a grip and Minji pulls her legs up with some ease.
Coaching her into the starting position, Hoshi nods and starts counting "Hold. One. Two. Let go"
Minji follows the movements he did a few minutes before, though not as naturally as Hoshi considering it was her first time. The only mistake she makes is looking at the floor once she's upside down and getting frightened by the thought of falling from there.
Quickly going back to the starting position, she grabs the top bar and laughs nervously "I thought I was going to die again"
Hoshi laughs at her exaggeration and steps up to help her get down from the equipment "It gets better over time. If you ever want to try it again"
"I'm not sure about that. Heights it's not really my thing" Minji giggles, taking some sweat of her hands "But this is seriously smart, Sunbaenim. Mind-blowing, I can't wait to see the whole thing"
"Ah, thank you" Hoshi bows a little and holds up his hand for a high five which she reciprocated without a second thought "I'm actually quite late for something, so I should be leaving right now. Good luck with your schedules today"
"You too. Thanks for the lesson" Minji follows him to the door and takes her phone out of her pocket, wondering how it didn't feel while she hung upside down. Waving at her, Hoshi picks up his pace and soon disappears into the long hallway.
Minji unlocks her phone to find a bunch of notifications from Weverse, as well as a couple of missed calls from Yeonjun. Before she can contact him back, his name rings on her screen again.
"Hey, you're not going to believe-" Minji starts but gets cut off by his whisper-yelling.
"When you said you were listening to a song it wasn't a piano, was it? Because I just walked inside Minhyun Sunbaenim's room, and he was in the middle of a vlive, so I panicked texted everyone about it"
"What?" Minji laughs shaking her head "Where even are you, right now?"
"I came to the cafeteria floor, to drown my utter embarrassment in energy drinks"
"Wait for me there, that's the only place I know where to get to" The girl starts walking and giggles as he continues complaining about how startled he got.

You don’t need me anymore.
Tumblr media
masterlist
Pairing: Owen Patrick Joyner x Fem!Reader
Summary: you’re owen’s best friend/girlfriend from oklahoma. you flew out to meet the cast in the beginning of shooting. but now it’s the last few weeks. you coming to visit owen but notice how different he’s gotten. and an extra of dirty candy keeps flirting with him. lots of dialogue
Warning: curses, some implied stuff, angst, fluffy ending… mentions of not being enough. UNEDITED.
a/n: writers block sucks. or more like i have my idea and i can’t form it to words. i don’t know the actual name of the girl in the green wig for Dirty Candy so i made it up.
Tumblr media
You were in the back of Jeremy and Carolynn’s car driving to set with them. Surprising Owen by coming a week earlier than you said. You were much closer to them than the others not including Savannah. She’s been close with you since you met on the KCA during Owen’s days in Knight Squad. Though Carolynn and you would talk for ages at least once or twice a week about how’s it going on set.
“Owen’s gonna be stoked when he sees you,” Jeremy says looking back at you through the mirror.
“He’s been complaining about how he hasn’t been able to call you for the last week,” Carolynn adds on.
“I thought you guys weren’t that busy this week? Wasn’t it only rehearsals?” you ask in confusion.
You remember Carolynn talking about how the guys didn’t have much to do this week. So why did Owen not make an effort to call you? That question kept running through your mind, but you tried to push it off.
“Oh umm... Paul, switched up the schedule again?” Jeremy told you but it sounded more like a question.
The ride went quiet after that with the couple in the front talking among themselves. You tried to not think about it too much. Nevertheless, you were still very excited to see Owen.
Tumblr media
You three arrive to set. Jer told you Owen should be practicing his dancing scene with Dirty Candy. He leads to the studio and all you see is one of the girls slow dancing with Owen.
“This is the scene, huh?” you scoffed. They looked so happy in their own world. It made you insecure that such a beautiful girl was so close and almost intimate with him. Just as the girl was getting closer to his face holding his cheeks then he turns his head and sees you. You storm out to find you were just about to hit Charlie in the face with the door. Or more like already hit...
“Oh my god! Are you okay? Kenny’s gonna kill me for bruising his star,” you exasperated while he’s holding his cheek. You slowly move your hand towards his cheek just to make sure it wasn’t leaving a bruise. Charlie noticed your distress, and not just because you hit him with a door.
“Hey, calm down! I’m fine,” he reassures you. He hugs you to welcome you back on set. Saying Owen was gonna be so excited.
“I don’t think so...” you trail off just remembering Owen was still walking towards you. You start to tell Charlie you have to run and you’ll talk to him later.
“Y/N! wait!” you hear Owen shout across the set.
You took a couple of turns to try and lose him. You end up in Savannah’s trailer where she’s on her couch looking at her phone.
“Sav, I need you to hide me from Owen,” you rush out whispering.
“Okay, slow down. Why are you hiding from Owen?” she asks.
“Because I don’t want to confront him right now and just need time to process something. Please help?” you beg locking her trailer door.
“Savannah? Is Y/n in there with you? I need to speak to her explaining what just happened,” you hear Owen say from the door. You and Sav look around to see where you can hide. The corner of the couch was the best place because it had boxes of extra stuff for Dirty Candy. You hid behind the boxes and Savannah put clothes on you to make you look like a clothes pile.
“Hey, Owen! Give me a second I need to clean up a bit,” Sav tells Owen while putting more clothes on you. Looking around to make sure you looked hidden she finally opened the door to let him in.
“What took you so long?”
“I have a bunch of extra clothes laying around...”
“Have you seen Y/n anywhere?”
“WAIT SHES HERE?!” Savannah acts surprised.
“Yeah, she came a week earlier. But when she came to the studio she saw Emmy and me dancing,”
“Why were you guys dancing alone?”
“Because Emmy said I need more slow dance practice and she would help. But when Y/n came I was dipping Emmy, and I think Emmy thought the wrong idea,” he explains.
“Why would you need to slow dance? You don’t slow dance in the show ever. Wait, what do you mean thought the wrong idea” she scolds him occasionally looking back at “the pile of clothes”.
“Em, doesn’t know I’m dating Y/n...” he trails off. Your heart broke at the sentence. Maybe his new big-time actor job is changing his life for the better and you just didn’t fit in it. You were the best friend from Norman. You were still in school studying all the time for Harvard. What did you do to benefit his life?
“WHY DOESN’T SHE KNOW? We all talk about Y/n all the time,” Savannah says confused. Emmy should know who you were if she ever listened to a conversation not about Owen.
“You know I don’t like sharing my relationship openly, Sav,” he tries to explain. You knew he liked being private and not showing much PDA, but you never thought it was at this point. Tears started running down your face as you overthought Owen’s words.
“Owen you have to talk to Y/n about this whole thing and be honest. If you don’t want to be in a relationship with her anymore she deserves to know,” hearing Savannah say this felt like you got punched in the gut.
“Woah. I never said that I wanted our relationship to end. It’s just not something I share about,”
“What are you embarrassed by it?”
“NO, just I don’t know...” he says frustrated. He starts to walk out the door going on how he was gonna try to find you and fix this.
Once he’s out Savannah locks the door and waits to see Owen far from the trailer. Until she said the case was clear for you to come out of the hiding spot, but she noticed how you didn’t even move. She started to remove all the clothes to find you balling your eyes out with a puffy, red face.
“Honey, it’s gonna be just fine. Owen’s just being a bigger idiot than he usually is right now,” she tries to joke with you.
“Savannah, am I not good enough for him anymore?” you ask trembling. Anxiety started to overfill your body and every thought that crossed your mind.
“No, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to Owen. He says it all the time that you’re the most important person in his life,” she says to you.

Savannah thought it was about time to order you an uber and go over to Owen and Charlie’s apartment to get ready to talk with Owen later. When you got to the apartment complex you texted Savannah, Jer & Carolynn, Charlie, and Madi that you were at the boys’ apartment and feeling a bit better than earlier. Savannah and Carolynn filled Madi in on what happened, and oh boy she had a lot of words for Mr. Joyner.
The first thing you did when you arrived at the place was climbing into Owen’s bed and smell his pillows. Which smelt like his cologne the smell helped you calm down quite a bit. You let out everything to that pillow until it was damp with tears.
It took a while for Owen to come home. You took the time to start packing the things that you already took out. You didn't notice when Owen walked into the room seeing you zip up your suitcase.
”Baby, stop packing, ” he says rushed. Starting to unzip the case and put stuff where ”they belong”.
”Owen, stop I'm going back. I think it's for the best for us to separate for now...” you trail off looking at your hands. Owen’s start to fill up with tears.
”Baby, what you saw was nothing,”
”Owen, you look happy here,”
”I am but I'm happier when I have you by my side,”
”You don't need me anymore,” you say to him.
”I ALWAYS NEED YOU,” he yells out bursting into tears. He makes his way closer and starts to cling to you for dear life.
”Owen, you know I love you with all my heart. But if you have this new life out here you don't need a girl from Norman holding you back,” you tell him softly. Stroking his hair trying to calm him down.
”Emmy doesn't mean a thing to me. I'm stupid I know I should have told her about our relationship. From the start when she was getting weird around me I should’ve noticed it,”
“Are you embarrassed to be with me? Am I not enough for you?” you question him scared of the answer. What if he really thought that? You scoffed to yourself when you thought about Emmy being enough for him.
“No, never. You’re the best thing that’s happened in my life. I love you so much, Y/n. If anything I’m not enough for you. Someone like you deserves the world and I haven’t been giving you that. It was wrong for me to push you aside this last week. But please let me make it up to you and don’t leave,” he says begging. Still clinging onto like a leech. Pushing his head into the crook of your neck to the point where you feel the tears on your shirt.
“Okay,”
He removes his head and looks into your eyes then down to your lips. He smashes his lips into yours releasing all the frustration out. You put your hand in his hair slightly pulling it. His hands on your waist pulling you closer if possible. You pull away staring at his eyes and say.
“3 words, 8 letters,”
“Say it and I’m yours,” he says back with the iconic (lowkey toxic) quote from gossip girl. (as if he wasn’t yours from the beginning...)
“I love you,” you tell him pulling him back into a kiss pushing him on the bed. You know what goes from there:)
