So im going to see mother mother in concert tomorrow. I haven't listened to their newest album that much tho, so I'm changing that today. And in listening to it, I'm going "wow, I'm actually digging this. Why haven't I listened to it much?"

with the release of Barbie, i thought I'd share a story about my childhood and that is that I loved to read scary scary stories but also /NEEDED music playing constantly to filter out distractions. except... I didn't know how to use limewire - and was too afraid to ask.

luckily my uncle came to visit and, being a tech genius unlike myself, knew how to burn a CD to my ipod. unluckily, the only cd I owned was aqua of barbie girl fame.

so he burned the cd onto my ipod and i immediately got my scary book and headphones and ignored everyone for the rest of the weekend (sorry uncle) to read about dead girls and dollhouses and did that basically any free time I had for at least several months

and now whenever I hear a song from that album (aquamarine, of course) i am /overcome with foreboding./

and I just have to act chill! bc how do u admit that lollipop (candyman) became yr dark souls boss music and you're fighting a fight or flight response whenever you pass the claires at the mall!?

I have such a weird relationship to the black parade. yes i discovered sucessful album the black parade. this year. like. 4 months ago. and ive become quite fond of it but also im never completely convinced am i experiencing the.

Listen. im like ur elderly relative nodding along when you talk about stuff and then snapping contently at some specific sentence like YEAH this part i understand :D definitely :) good for u. dont know what hte rest of that was always but youre having weird lyricism fun and it sounds awesome and evocative. cant guess of what but. super in to this and actually vibe with 1 out of 7 lines on avarage. and love music
