As a trans man myself, I wanted to talk about my experience in this fandom. 😌

I’ve always been openly trans, since the start in december 2020!  My V, Valentin, is a self insert, and I made him trans too. He actually helped me a lot with my self image and confidence, I’ll forever be grateful to have the option to be trans in this game, even if it’s not perfect! 

People sent me a lot of heart warming messages through the year, thanking me for my inclusive mods, as well as just for being myself openly and creating trans content without fear. This is something I only recently fully embraced; being myself openly, on the internet and in real life too.

The Cyberpunk 2077 community has a lot of LGBTQ+ members, including a lot of trans folks! Brothers, Sisters and Cousins alike 🤍 

There was a lot of good this past year. 

A lot of good, but also a lot of bad, that I want to talk about too. 

Do not be afraid to seek information on something you don’t know about or aren’t sure on how to approach. Transgenderness and Nonbinarism shouldn’t be taboo to talk about.

If you’re planning on creating a trans (including non-binary) OC, please do it with respect 🤲 Look up pronouns, the harm of dead naming, what it means to be non-binary, etc etc. Ask people in the community! I am more than happy to help or talk with people who have questions about being trans and I know a lot of fellow trans and non binary peeps that would also be glad to help. 

No matter who you are, cis/trans/nb, it's possible there are places where you might misstep with trans and/or nb OCs or headcanons. Someone correcting you and sharing that something was incorrect or hurtful isn't an attack! It doesn’t make you a bad person either. However, trans identities are NOT a subject up to debate, or something to debate about. If your words or portrayal of your trans/nb character hurts actual trans and nb persons in the community, please, listen to them. 

We encourage everyone to explore sexualities and genders, especially in fiction! But we’re also real people behind our monitors, how you react and what you write can be really hurtful.

I also wanted to touch another subject that happened earlier this year. 

I want to remind everyone that “pussy eating” is not a F/M exclusive sexual activity. Neither is vaginal sex. Wanting to use vagina-related activities as a “proof” that a character is into women pushes cisnormativity and is really, really harmful. 

Especially when that character as been confirmed MLM (not necessarily gay; MLM includes Bisexuality and Pansexuality too, among other things)  It just pushes the idea that gender and sexualities are tied to whatever genitals you have down here. And it’s not ok. It’s never ok. 

This is the first fandom experience for a lot of people, me included! We're all learning different stuff and that's amazing.

Pretty often, he gets stressed sometimes so he’ll just get out a quick wank before heading to class in the morning or late at night.

K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)

He has a ton, d/s is very present and the roles switch between you both often. Power play is a must and he has a big thing for bondage, he loves all the different knots and shapes, he thinks the ropes look pretty against your skin. Steve was yowling like a damn cat out in the kitchen, interrupting Billy’s stream. “Billy!”

“Stevie! I’m streamin’, Baby!” Hear could hear Steve’s feet plodding down the hall. The chat started going crazy as they appeared in the stream behind Billy, wearing a too-big sweater, thick wool socks on those perpetually cold little feet. Their hair was a fucking mess, and they were wearing their glasses, the big ones Billy loved.

They climbed on Billy’s lap, settling their face into his neck.

“What’s up?”

“Just wanted some lovin’.” Steve’s voice was soft, but they always put their face on the side Billy’s headset mic was on and the audience would go wild over the quiet things they said. Billy rubbed their back before going back to his game.

“Everyone welcome Stevie to the stream.”

He kept playing as usual, Steve a warm little puddle in his lap.

“Okay, Babes. I’m signing off for today, Steve is definitely asleep on me right now and I gotta put them to bed. Love you all, stay safe.” He had to awkwardly shuffle Steve around in his lap to turn off the stream, picking them up to take them to the room across the hall.

They had gotten a two bedroom when they were still friends, pretending they weren’t fucking in love with each other. They had moved into the bedroom formerly known as Steve’s, setting up Billy’s old room for streaming and video editing.

Steve snuffled as Billy took off their glasses, sliding into bed behind them.

Steve was sitting on the floor, laughing at the monitor.

They had been doing a series of Quarantine Madness videos, doing crafts and silly makeup tutorials.

They were currently trying temporary hairdye, had their hair sticking up in all directions.

“This is so fucking stupid, oh my god.” They had electric pink in their hair, Billy had gotten roped into it with dark blue.

“If you destroy my hair for YouTube hits, I’m gonna cry.” Steve had their thin fingers in his hair, rubbing the dye in.

“Oh, worse comes to worse you get ridda that fucking mullet.”

“You love this mullet. It’s my trademark.” Billy’s hair wasn’t supposed to be a mullet, was originally a shag that had grown in weird, but Billy had become known for it, and he had kinda grown to like it.

“The whole premise of this video is to get you to shave your head.” Billy laughed. “Okay, so we gotta wait like twenty minutes and then we gotta wash it out.” They looked at memes while they waited, figured Steve would edit all this waiting out of the video anyway.

They washed the dye out in the sink, scrubbing at one another’s heads before getting in the shower to clean off the patches on their skin.

They ended up getting a little distracted in the shower.

Steve had blow dried both their hair to see the color. The pink was subtle in Steve’s dark hair, the highlights they had gotten a few weeks before quarantine picking up more of the color.

Billy’s hair was bright fucking blue, and neither of them could stop laughing at it.

“I kinda, kinda love it on you, Bill.” Steve was brushing their fingers through Billy’s hair, making him lean into the touch like a damn cat.

The video ended up being wildly popular.

“So, you all tweeted us some questions, and we’re gonna answer them over live stream. We each picked a bunch to pose to one another, so yeah.” Steve shrugged. “Billy, @.DustinHendy wants to know why you’re such a little bitch.” Billy cackled, planting his face into Steve’s shoulder.

“Tell Dustin he’s a little garbage human.” Billy winked at the camera, making the comments along the side of the screen go crazy. “Um, I thought this question was interesting, @.llittlebug says: you two are so touchy. Are you together, or are you just close friends? We’re gal pals, actually.” Steve laughed, loud and bright.

“Two bros chillin’ in the hot tub, five feet apart ‘cause we’re not gay.” Steve sang, making them both crack up.

“Yeah, we’re very much in a relationship, have been for four years now.” Steve was giving him that soft smile Billy loved so much. He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to that sweet little mouth. The chat was going insane, people sending comments along the lines of I knew it! and so happy for you both!

Steve’s cheeks were flushed.

“So, uh @.bigyikes asks, how did you two meet? Well actually, we went to high school together, and fucking hated each other when we first met, got in a big fight, worked our shit out became friends, moved in together, and fell in love like big dumb losers.”

“So bold of you to claim I ever hated you. I literally was fucking in love with them from the first time I ever saw them but I was, uh, going through a lot, and was kind of the worst back then.” Steve’s arm was on his shoulder, playing with the long hair by his neck.

“You’ve gotten so much better. And I’m proud of you.” Billy planted a kiss to their forehead.

“Next question before I fucking cry, @.imaloser wants to know our sexualities and gender expressions. I mean, you’ve been plenty open about all that.”

“Well, yeah. I’m pansexual and agender, which is under the nonbinary umbrella, but I like to typically present femme. And I use they pronouns, most of you know that, of course. I’m pretty open.” They turned big eyes on Billy.

“These days, I just identify as queer. I’ve always identified as a gay man, but I haven’t dated a guy in a long fuckin’ time.” Steve curled into his side.

“It’s been a learning process for both of us. I mean Billy’s the first person I dated seriously after I came out, and there was just a part of me that felt lowkey misgendered every time he said he was gay.”

“Oh, there was a lot of learning in those early days for sure. And I think we’re both still doing that. I hope I am.” Steve poked his stomach.

“You’re good to me, Bill.” There was a slew of sweet comments in the live stream.

“@.folks asks when did you get into makeup?” He turned to Steve.

“Growing up, most of my friends were girls, and I just always loved playing dress up, and getting make overs. When I was like, fourteen I think, I started playing with makeup myself, learning from YouTube tutorials, and just like, messing around with stuff. I always loved just feeling really pretty, so that’s why-” they gestured at themself, one of Billy’s shirts tucked into old worn out jeans, soft white cardigan. They had put on a full face of makeup for the stream.

“I think you’re the prettiest.” Steve laughed, headbutting Billy’s shoulder.

“Okay, so @.imstruggling wants to know who’s a better cook.” Steve turned dramatically to the camera. “Me, bitch!”

so Thor decided to learn more

he knew he liked boys, that wasn’t uncommon on Asgard

gender expression was very open, but that blurred the lines a lot for him

when he got to non-binary, it clicked

he was excited he’d figured it out

his immediate instinct?

he went to tell Loki

the only problem was Loki was asleep

it took like ten minutes for Loki to figure out what he meant

Loki was tired give him a break

he doesn’t know how to be non-binary though

Loki basically always knew he was genderfluid

it just seemed really obvious to him?

he realised he wasn’t cis when he was 7

he transformed into a girl for fun 

and she was like “oh i like this-”

so she experimented with that

and she fucking loved all of them

so she turned back into a boy and went to Frigga

that’s how he found out about the word genderfluid

so he basically just grew up shapeshifting as much as he wanted

when they eventually went to earth, Loki couldn’t shapeshift as much

after he was redeemed, he still needed to be recognisable so they wouldn’t think he was to pull a fast one on them

he was uncomfy 

Loki stays in his room a lot

he just really doesn’t wanna deal with it

he still shapeshifts in private!

Thor ends up being the one to catch on

but he kinda knows that Loki won’t talk to him

so he sends in the spider child!

Loki and Peter have a pretty close bond

so on one of the nights they hang out, it’s a she/her day

and Loki just kinda snapped and went on a bit of a rant

and she ended up coming out to Peter

Loki totally didn’t end up crying what do you mean

she just needs a hug

obvs Peter was accepting

Truth be told I'm not sure I like how they stole MtF rep to make way for FtM with Roxy. The major headcanon for a while was that she was MtF, and the writers HAVE to have known about that. So.... like.... Why? Why not have Jade or something be FtM, or write June into the Epilogues? I feel like that's a large disservice, aside from V apparently inserting a lot of fetish content.

Hey now. First of all, I'm a trans woman named Roxy. I'm well aware of how popular the headcanon has been since Roxy's very introduction, and I still love trans girl Rox with all of my heart. The Epilogues writers, however, decided to explore a different route with them. Mind you, too, we've been shown two different expressions of Roxy's gender across two different timelines, both of which they seem comfortable with, which makes their relationship to gender more complicated and quite interesting in my eyes.

I get being disappointed that trans girl Rox didn't happen in the Epicanon, but I feel calling it a disservice and "stealing" representation feels kind of dickish towards the people who do like exploring this new development, and towards nb identities.

Making Jade a trans guy would be problematic in the context of the Epilogues, given what we know of her now, and while technically dfab, you can read her as a trans woman, although the specific case is a bit more complex than the usual. There's more to explore eventually in the Epicanon though, and we know June is coming, not to say, with Pesterquest, the team has been pushing for rep of various types that has been largely positive across all the content they've pumped out these past months.

So like... I get disappointment. But pushing that further just seems like pitting the community against each other for selfish reasons.

Also, you give V too much weight. WP is a team. The epilogues are more adult, and they just agreed to make a bunch of things horny on main. I mean, a huge part of Troll Culture is giant horse dicks, kinks have been in HS for ages. But now the characters are adults.

Jack o’Chica (FNAF 4)

She’s a literal walking furnace.

No kidding, her footprints leave ashes and embers in their wake.

And flames constantly spew from her mouth and eyes.

She was Nightmare Chica, but her jack o’lantern form manifested from Cassidy’s fear of Halloween (same with Jack o’Bonnie), so she’d turn into JOC throughout most of October.

She can heat up her claws and teeth to the point of them glowing white-hot.

So when she grabs Cassidy, he wakes up with quite some burns on his arms, which he has to bandage up.

She loves making fire puns.

In the kitchen, she’ll try to make pizza. But..she’s horrible at it and ends up filling the room with smoke.

Her Nightmare Pumpkin is a giggly animatronic that loves to bite the faces of the other Nightmares, though he receives harsh scoldings for such actions.

Jack o’ Chica (UCN)

Scott gifted her with the ability to materialize at both doors at the same time.

Though at the expense of Nightmare Pumpkin losing all sentience.

When she gets into the room, she’ll hiss at William and claw him with her glowing hands, ensuring those burns left lasting impressions on him.

She wanted to trap his soul in her suit so he could burn for all eternity. 

But she does find a lot more satisfaction in killing him while he’s distracted by the other animatronics.

Misses Jack o’Bonnie a lot and wonders how he’s doing.

Considering she and Nightmare Chica are two separate entities, their relationship is rocky at most.

Especially since NC is petty about not being in the roster.

Toy Chica, Funtime Chica, and Rockstar Chica nickname her “BBQ”.

Withered Chica is friendly to her, as she feels much better about another “scary Chica” being around.

When Freddy notices her in the hallway, he always mistakes her for the original Chica. 

Putting the two side-by-side will still make him think he’s talking to the same chicken.

Jack o’ Chica (AR)

Having the freedom to haunt more people’s homes was such a delight to her.

Though she was less-than-pleased to see Scorch, a “knockoff” version of herself.

But the two ended up getting along and make fire-themed puns together.

Feels like an outcast, so she sticks with the Summertronics to fit in sometimes.

All in all not much of her personality has changed, albeit she becomes more cruel and spiteful with her threats.

As evident by her lines after defeat, she hates to lose and is annoyed people have a greater advantage against her with the shock buttons.

Acts v v tsundere when captured, because she’s angry–but at the same time grateful people actually like her and don’t wanna chase her out of their homes.

Don’t expect her insults to stop, though.

“It’s not like I wanted to bring you these parts..you insolent worm. Watch me turn them into molten metal.”

Jack o’ Bonnie (FNAF 4)

He manifested the exact same way Jack o’Chica did.

But his eye (and the material around it) became burnt out during the transformation, so he can only see out of his other eye.

Nightmare Foxy joked about giving him a patch.

He’s very giggly and likes dark humor.

Lava/magma sometimes drools from the corners of his mouth and between his teeth. But it always dissolves before it hits the floor.

Like Nightmare Bonnie, he keeps his bowtie in pristine condition.

When NB was put into UCN, JOB went to the Flipside with OMC and the other animatronics to rest.

But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get to torment William the same way JOC does.

Jack o’ Bonnie (AR)

Still the same giggly and sadistic creature.

Though he’s more quiet and lowkey intimidated by Jack o’Chica now since she’s become more bossy.

Actually hates Flametrap for being a “copycat”, but he can’t exactly hurt him with fire so...they just vibe. 

If you have them both, though, make sure they aren’t active at the same time so they don’t burn down the house.

He can also heat up his claws/teeth to make them white-hot and cough up smoke to distort the user’s’ vision.

He’s always threatening to take bites out of Chocolate Bonnie (especially around Halloween) and melt Frostbear.

But he just likes scaring them. Nothing more.

alright so !! he’s from hong kong, and born to a mom who was a model for a popular skincare company and a father who’s an anesthesiologist !!

his parents are quite ambitious & his name means “become great” since as their first child, they had high hopes !! he’s often called lei for short around friends.

his mom wanted him to follow in her footsteps so for the early part of his life she was obsessed with booking him baby modeling & acting gigs!! he was in a few commercials and an extra in some small shows, but didn’t gain much fame from it.

his family is originally from mainland china (which is why he’s pretty good at mandarin) but moved when he was born because they liked the atmosphere for him better ! also his mom started getting more opportunities to work there and rather than keep traveling when she had a newborn the whole family packed up and left !

to say the least he was raised pretty comfortably !!! his parents had a lot of influence in their respective fields and he lived well, always getting the things he asked for & such !

but honestly, he’s not the type of person that is obsessed money but that’s probably because he’s used to it? like ofc it’s nice to have, but he’d be perfectly fine living a normal life.

his parents don’t feel the same, they’re very invested in getting & keeping money, so they would always get mad bc he had a tendency of giving his friends things if they didn’t have it !!

he’s been really adamant on creating his own lifestyle recently though, so is trying to make his own name for himself & make his own money instead of relying on his parents forever.

he went to a private school in the city, which is where he learned english. it was widely spoken where he was anyways, but there were some exchange students who helped him too. 

also totally irrelevant headcanon but one of the students he became close with was australian & he traveled there in high school, so when he speaks english he’s a bit influenced by the accent !!

a dancing machine for real !! first got into dance 1t 5 when his mom thought it’d be cute for him to do ballet?? he hated it only because his friends made fun of him for it, but the more time he spent doing it the more he was kind of like...oh !! this is kinda nice !!

and then he fell in love with it, and to this day ballet remains his favorite type of dance. the older he got though he took more classes, and eventually joined a competitive dance team the city had !

he first got interested in kpop by a few friends in middle school, and that reflected onto his love for dancing! he began learning all the dances he could, and the more he saw them the more he felt he could turn his love for dance into a real dream.

long story short, his parents were v unhappy to hear he wanted to be in such a risky career, but after constant begging allowed him to audition! they promised thinking that he wouldn’t make it past first cuts, but when he did they were very shocked and kind of just in awe let him start training??

his first few months training were a huge struggle to face. right off the bat he could hardly speak korean, and it’s when reality really set in ?? as much as he said he wasn’t dependent on his wealth it was a big adjustment to go from his life in hong kong to living in dorms with other trainees. it was just...wild!!

not to mention chenglei can be an introvert when in situations he doesn’t know people in,  so he was probably really quiet at the beginning !!

but he definitely opens up once he becomes comfortable around others. he’s still on the quieter side, but definitely v sweet and even a little mischevious around the ones he’s close too !! so by now it can be assumed he’s this way around the trainees he encounters often.

but when he’s in work mode ?? totally different lei !!! he takes training very seriously, takes staff criticism hard, and just kind of beats himself up to work harder !! not the best method, but if one thing’s for sure it’s that he serious about improving and doesn’t put anything above that when it’s time to get serious.

and performing lei !! also very different. he’s definitely a worrier all the moments leading up to performance, but becomes some confident dancing machine when he gets on stage ! he doesn’t worry about looking too weird, just focuses on delivering a powerful performance. very different than his usual self !

he’s currently in his 2nd year as a university student, and it is h-a-r-d !! since he practically goes straight from school to practice, he’s burnt out 80% of the time and lives off of coffee and a prayer.

oh in terms of languages !! he speaks cantonese as his native tongue, learned mandarin through talking with his family in the mainland,  learned english through school, and is still actively learning korean ! he’s only completely fluent in cantonese, but learns korean the most out of all of them on a day-to-day basis.

he’s a little creative boy !! lovesloves to draw and paint and you can always catch him doodling things that went on during the day if he’s bored !!

also plays piano, which he was kind of forced into by his parents lmao ?? but it’s always a plus when he mentions it and it’s fun to play.

he’s quite a softy?? especially for a guy, he’s very affectionate, v loyal, and always looking out for his friends in any way he can ! it probably comes from his dad always being off at work, and his mom ( who is the more nurturing of the two ) being the most present, so he took after her and is very caring & sweet !

i’m not gonna lie...he’s a little bit of an eboy ?? let the sighs of shame arise lmao !! but honestly he’s like if an eboy & art hoe had a baby, but who’s also soft ?? the chaos !

he’s also a bilie eilish supremacist ?? don’t know how that happened since i don’t even stan her that much myslf ?? but like....if you couldn’t tell from his audition video he loves her & will cover each and every of her videos

he’s a baby pan !! he hasn’t really “come out” officially to his friends per se, but has vaguely expressed interest for something outside of a relationship with just girls ! he’s terrified to tell his parents & if he ever will...who knows !! but he’ll become more comfortable with his sexuality soon enough, at least.

his end goal, well semi-end goal, is to become a choreographer !! he wants to be an idol / dancer above all things, but he knows that career won’t last forever so he hopes when he gets out of it to help others achieve their dreams !! he’s very strong on the belief that what’s given to you must be paid back, so he wants to show his appreciation for his eventual debut by helping others reach theirs, too !!

Unpopular opinion

I’ve always hcd Roxy as a trans girl so completely flipping that after the epilogues feels weird. Saying that their preferred pronouns are he/they is still logical within the confines of canon since they never mentioned their actual identity, so I’m just gonna stick with what feels best to me which is a nb roxy. But IMHO, as long as they’re trans I’m fine with de-canonizing the epilogues completely.

Favorite relationship

Di-Stri and Ro-lal are peak trans mlm/wlw solidarity. I cry to p much every single piece of media I consume, but I’ve been dry-eyed throughout homestuck canon with the exception of One moment. And that is when Dirk talked about how much he respected Roxy. Their relationship means so fucking much to me I just ???? hhhhh cant put my finger on it but I just have a shitton of emotions about it. not entirely sure, def after i figured out i wasn't straight(which was aug. 2016), but as far as accepting my place under the /trans/ flag (i knew i was nb, but was still hesitant bc of the people against enbys iding as trans), that didn't happen until like. end of last year,

my trans friends definitely!! and also doing a report on enbys in the trans community, and subsequently finding what, the white stripe means, i still have trouble asking people who already know me to use they/them though,, (i still say she/her is fine even though it's kinda not)

i do plan to get top surgery! and soon, hopefully!!! other than that, i eventually want a hysterectomy, but no hrt

binding definitely helps! i get mild dysphoria wearing anything other than a binder or sports bra, and also on my period :/
