I’m back on my bullshit and we have GOT TO TALK about 13x08 The Scorpion and the Frog; which serves as a good example of why you should not ONLY watch spn episodes with Cas (partially because of that scene I shamefully blogged about earlier - no I will not link that cursed post here).  The episode title comes from a fable in which the villain is the scorpion.  Interpretations of this fable note its uniqueness lies in the concept that “the scorpion is irrationally self destructive and fully aware of it.”
Tumblr media
To quote the scorpion, buddies -  “it’s in my nature.”
Anyway, this episode is subtextually predicated on exploring Dean Winchester’s nature and specifically - his bisexuality, and I’m not only saying that because it opens with Dean in his Bi Colors Plaid (that also he wore on his burger date with Cas).
Tumblr media
Let’s get started, after the cut!
Season 13 on its face gives me absolute whiplash because it starts widow arc-reunion-TOMBSTONE and then Jack yeets himself off to Chuck knows where so Cas can go out Looking For Him Because Otherwise He Will Definitely Kiss Dean there is no other option for the writers at this point.  Sigh.  Here, have another shot of Dean anxiously cleaning his gun as he always does when Cas has Gone Off For Reasons -
Tumblr media
Anyway, this feels like a filler episode at first, but as always they bury the ENTIRE damn world in it and I am here with my dossier to Unearth It.
Lets start with Bart (demon of terrible nicknames and microagressions) meeting the brothers at Smile Diner to talk about some spell or whatever.
Tumblr media
(I am not thinking about the Cherry Pie meta I AM NOT)
THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY to start with these lines immediately introducing the theme of duality, a thread throughout this episode.
BARTHAMUS
Everything. I've been following your careers a long time. You're a real pain in the pitchfork. And the halo. Natural disrupters. We have that in common, you and I. DEAN
Mm. Yeah, we're twinsies.
***MORE DUALITY!  But as we know, Dean does not like Bart because He Is A Freakin’ Demon
DEAN
Well, see, here's the thing. When a demon tells us to jump, we don't ask how high. We just ice their ass.
Tumblr media
UMMM excuse me Barting Bacting Boices?  What is that sexual gaze?
Then we find out that Bart has 1/2 of the spell.  They need the other 1/2.  Oh, a spell with two parts, you say? [ I am going to scream :) ]
***Also, Dean eats the pie Bart ordered.  I cannot begin to explain to you the state of unwellness that I am in regarding how important this is. DEAN NEVER GETS TO EAT THE PIE, remember?  But in This Filler Episode, Dean eats the pie. While Sam looks at him with a very quizzical expression.  Pie -> what Dean wants but never actually gets -> Dean actively eating this pie.  Dean is coming to terms that maybe he can have what he wants.
***I am reminding you again that this is post widower-arc, post-reunion, and especially post-Tombstone.  Anyway-
Now we get to Smash and Grab.  Not literally even though I want to Commit Such Conduct at this point.  We are introduced to two one off characters named
Smash (human/female presenting) -  can crack any safe built by man
and Grab (demon/male presenting)-  expert in bypassing supernatural security.
Reaching or no, you can’t disagree that when spn introduces one off characters - it is almost always a Narrative Parallel or Mirror.
So we have a human and a demon (and Dean Winchester, a human who has been a demon)
who are experts in cracking open/bypassing something that has been secured and guarded (breaking down walls, if you will).
Tumblr media
They also use fake names identifying them as Tools to be Used ( Dean Winchester, the Michael Sword/daddys blunt little instrument)
BONUS:
Dean himself is literally used as a tool in this episode.
Tumblr media
So yeah.  Smash and Grab are physical representations of Dean’s duality.  Human/Demon.  Femininity/Masculinity.  Dare we say something else, too?
Anyway, Dean is paired with Smash and Grab; Sam is off to idk negotiate weird artifact purchases lawboy style with Luther Shrike, a man who cannot die so long as he never leaves his house (I cannot even begin to unpack this shit; please just sit there and think about it.  I’m not even going there here.  I CANNOT DISCUSS Luther Shrike RN).
Speaking of things I cannot discuss without halgdhsag;lsa - Smash has very Specific boots (a look overall, really).
Tumblr media
DEAN
Hey, Winona. The '90s called. They'd like their shoes back. SMASH
Shh.
***That’s right girl - do not take his shit; he actually LOVES them and is therefore Overcompensating for it with this little jab.
***Dean’s pop culture references and particular attention to the details here Should Not Be Overlooked.  90s! Winona! Ryder!
ANYWAY, then Dean and Smash bond over a caffeinated beverage -
[While Dean is doing a spell, Smash opens a can of drink, takes a mouthful and burps loudly. ] SMASH
Ahh. DEAN
You're weird.
Tumblr media
***This scene makes me literally insane. (even aside from Dean living on something named NERVE DAMAGE as a KID.  They could have called it anything. You’re saying this wasn’t a Choice)
She chugs a swallow of the drink and burps.  Something stereotypically associated with masculinity.  Not feminine.  Dean’s reaction is that she is “weird” - because she is not acting in a way stereotypically, J*hn Winchester brain-rot patriarchy bullshit-tily associated with Being Female.  But also, says the stupid show, they like the same soda.  They are The Same.  She shares the soda with Dean.  HIS FACE WHEN SHE DOES -
Tumblr media
Other similarities are addressed throughout the episode (they are working for demons because they have no choice; they don’t discuss feelings/emotions, they both sold their soul, they both This Thing -
DEAN
You know, we could help you. SMASH
No, you can't. I gotta take care of me.
etc. etc.) Smash is absolutely dean-coded.
****Also it’s textually established that Smash thinks Dean is attractive -
GRAB
[looking at Smash] Oh. You said he was just a pretty face. SMASH
Shh.
Tumblr media
***But Grab flirts with him too.
DEAN
I will kill you. GRAB
I bet you say that to all the girls.
***sorry, Grab - you won’t get far with Dean, but only because as he mentioned in the beginning of this episode -
Tumblr media
Drowley rights.
Now Dean has to put his hand in the mouth of this stone lion thing and all of a sudden he is acting....very-not-like-Dean.
Tumblr media
[Dean looks again and takes a deep breath.] DEAN
I… how about this? What if I cut myself, put it on, like, a little piece of paper? We'll just wad it up and throw it in the mouth, okay? Okay.
***Dean Winchester, who has been to Literal HELL, who has been torn apart by hellhounds, who has battled the devil and angels and God’s sister - all at the expense of his own life is now - afraid of spiders.  Well, technically he has always been afraid of spiders, but why isn’t ‘he being performative about it At This Time??
***Come to think of it, this sends me right back to how Jackles was playing Dean in 12x11 Regarding Dean THE episode dissecting Dean’s performative masculinity [one day I will clean up and post that analysis sitting in my drafts like a sad hamster]. That makes sense actually, because -> -> ->
that episode and this one are both written by Meredith Glynn.  Girl get in I want to torture you affectionately with a barrage of questions.
So here we have Dean and he’s not performing for Reasons, and he’s scared he’s genuinely scared of putting his hand in this stone lion-gargoyle-pig-creature’s mouth and then -
Tumblr media
Smash gives him a push.
She gives him a push.  I cannot stop thinking about how she gives him a push.  A push to go do this thing that he is scared of; his fear being something he was hiding under his performative masculinity. Smash - dean coded dean mirror who does not perform femininity and is ‘weird’ -  she   gives   him   a     p u s h.
***linking here for the jackting joices that follow.
Now, let’s circle back to Smash’s story; why she is working for Bart in the first place -
SMASH
You think I wanna be here? Like I have a choice? SAM
You made a deal. SMASH
Wow! You think? SAM
You sold your soul. SMASH
And if I could take it back, I would.
Tumblr media
there is no reason for this picture here other than I needed you to see the jackting again
***How does the story end for Smash?
DEAN
Take care of you. [Dean glances down at the box, and then at Smash. She sees that Dean has put a lighter on top of the bones.]  BARTHAMUS
Alice, chop chop!
[Bart indicates she should get his bones]. SMASH
Yeah. [She grabs the lighter and sets Bart's bones alight. Bart screams as he bursts into flames. ]
***She accepts help and breaks free from the narrative, literally burning it down. The female presenting but not female-performing “weird” ooc representing a side of Dean breaks FREE because she makes a choice.  The lighter Dean drops? It’s a push.  And she goes with it.
Alice reclaims her story.
(Also, Grab gets ganked.  The male presenting ooc; the performative masculinity side; the demon; the darkness; the not-humanity - gets ganked).
Guess what Dean says to Alice when they say goodbye?
DEAN
Hey, Alice. Stay weird.
Tumblr media
[I know the peace sign is probably just a Charlie throwback but I’d still like to say duality.  Two. ]
Dean’s not just talking to Alice.  He’s talking to himself; because the walls have been breached and for once Dean isn’t as scared of being different.  Maybe, just maybe, he’s going along with the push.  That’s exactly how the episode ends - with Dean feeling a little more hopeful, a little more at peace; a little more Considering he is capable of not only loving Cas but also not hating himself for it.
[until the knowledge that Mary is still alive and the guilt of allowing himself ANY happy thoughts instead of looking for her miserably rears its ugly head in 13x09 and round and round we go but for NOW at least -> ]
DEAN
I'll drink to that.
Tumblr media
(oh look Dean is just wearing his henley.  It’s almost as if a layer has been peeled back).
tagging @im-shaking-like-milk and @deanwasalwaysbi for letting me ramble on to them while writing this; and @lilac-void because you are always so kind about my stuff :)

Jack Drake
If I were to try to encapsulate Jack Drake as succinctly as possible, I'd really just list four things:
He's a classic 90s man's man/dad figure. (He likes things like fishing and golf and watching sporting events; he's a business man with a vaguely defined company; etc. I would also be shocked if this dude weren’t a conservative, but that is the one thing in this post that isn’t firmly canon-based.)
He loves his son. (And at a fundamental level, wants Tim to be safe and happy.)
He doesn't make much effort to understand his son. (And therefore often just makes assumptions about what would make Tim happy based on his own ideas. Jack has no strong sports focus and Tim is far from the nerd archetype he's sometimes forced into, but there are shades of "jock dad doesn't understand his nerd son" in their dynamic.)
He has a hot temper. (This man loves to yell.)
There are things that don't fit cleanly into those molds (e.g. love of archeology), especially regarding his non-son relationships (e.g. his passive aggressive tension with Janet before her death, his sulky delayed grief over her after the company goes bankrupt, his quick courting of Dana, etc). But in terms of writing him as a father and in relation to Tim, I think you can pretty much write a Jack Drake that feels in character with just those four things! Examples:
When Jack wakes up from his coma, he vows to be a more present father (loves his son), and invites Tim to go fishing and see football games (man's man), but fails to ask about Tim’s interests or consider what Tim might want to do (doesn't try to understand his son).
On multiple occasions as Robin, Tim vanishes for over a day without a word. Jack, post-coma, notices and freaks out every time and, either one after the other or at the same time, is furious at Tim (hot temper) and is desperately worried about Tim's safety (loves his son).
In response to those disappearances and Tim’s other perceived delinquency due to his Robin secrets, Jack's reaction is to threaten to then actually send Tim to boarding school. He wants to punish Tim (temper), but also thinks Tim needs an intervention/help (loves his son) that Jack is unable/unwilling to personally provide because that's a little more parenting than he can handle (doesn't try to understand Tim).
And perhaps the best encapsulation of Jack's personality and parenting is when he discovers Tim is Robin. His first reaction is not to talk to Tim or even to put stock in the feelings expressed in Tim’s own journal, but to assume Tim has been manipulated into this (doesn't try to understand his son) and then charge off to protect his son (loves Tim) by threatening Bruce with a gun (temper). It's obviously a very extreme and awful reaction, and suitably comic book dramatized, but it fits in perfectly with everything established for his character.
In contrast, there are a lot of fanon characterizations (and occasional canon appearances outside the Robin book) that miss the mark on these and end up feeling super ooc:
The popular concept of the Drakes as cold, controlled, image-obsessed society regulars ignores Jack’s established interests, hobbies, (man’s man) and demeanor (temper), and ends up feeling like a totally different character. Depicting him as an emotionally open, level-headed, goofy fun dad would miss the mark (temper; doesn’t try to understand Tim)--but so does depicting him as a heartless monster who doesn’t care about Tim or being a father at all (loves his son).
He’s not a great dad! Arguably, he may not even be good one. But he isn’t a flat caricature, and he has a remarkably consistent characterization for a comic character.

with River or Rose. Why does The Master have to get stabbed because of it? What if Koschei had to be his own rock? What if he was able to find his own redemption, outside of The Doctor? River had to do it when The Doctor went off on adventures without her! Dozen of human companions have done it! If I’m reading you right and you’re saying humans are more obedient to follow The Doctor, in a sense, then why can’t he do the same? That's just how I've understood it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay so, lots to unpack here. I’m going to do so quickly, due to IRL time constraints and low emotional energy,
First, thanks for your comments and sorry if any of mine have been a source of distress.  The posts to which you’re responding weren’t meant to be more than a personal vent, tagged as “ooc,” and not as “meta” or “headcanons,” but I’ll try to address your comments anyway.  I just want it clear that if I were formulating an actual meta argument open for discussion, it would have been far more clearly constructed, and less viscerally emotional and messy.
That said:
–I agree that the Master would benefit from a story in which they achieve redemption outside entirely of any gratification the Doctor might provide.  This is why in writing with Doctors, I try to capitalize on the Master learning at some point that statements the Doctor makes, such as “you COULD be beautiful,” or “you never learned to hear the music,” are actually damaging: they predicate the Master’s moral success and self-actualization upon the Doctor’s limited definition of goodness.  You say that “my life doesn’t revolve around you” stuck with you? Same, but even more, “Your definition of good is not universal.”  The Master already knows this somewhere inside of the pitiably desperate creature who chases, and seeks to recapture the full attention of, their counterpart and soul-mate. They already know the Doctor is not the arbiter of all judgment, not a god, not even fully a hero.  They just need a plot arc that allows the Master to flourish on their OWN TERMS (which I would argue is exactly what Simm was trying to remind a very subdued Missy at the end of Series Ten, albeit in a VERY misguided way).
In short, I agree with you, in case I didn’t make that clear.  Indeed, my very url, which spells “Self-Mastery,”  centers on this very concept.
–For this purpose, I’ve also created a full verse with @canspotatimeagent, a Jack Harkness, including marriage, an extended family and friend network, and 3 biological children.  The Doctor has literally NO role in this verse. At all. And a central element of the plot is that the Master (AND Jack) learn to heal from the Doctor essentially abandoning them (probably the Doctor’s worst, if inadvertent, habit).
–You say “maybe the Doctor is better with X companion” as a throwaway remark which is part of another point (that, despite Moffat’s suffering and martyrdom fetish, the Master doesn’t have to die for the Doctor to enjoy other companions, which I agree with), but I still want to address it as an independent issue.  As others have said, Rose and River and the other human companions are not actually best for the Doctor based on their impressionable nature, because ultimately, as was said in Waters of Mars (and by Donna Noble, and others)  the Doctor needs to not be alone: the Doctor needs an equally powerful partner who ACTIVELY CHALLENGES their arch, opinionated ideas about how things should be done, and their tendency to control others “for their own good”/to “save” them.  Nobody is better qualified than the Master, who is just as stubborn, just as smart (perhaps, according to the Doctor, smarter), and just as adventurous, but also far more methodical and preemptive (checking the Doctor’s whimsy and impracticality).  So I would disagree with that, despite lamenting its possibility in a moment of personal distress.
I think that’s all the main points. I’m not yelling at you, it’s just that this is something I’ve already said a lot in my proper metas and headcanons and this is why vent posts aren’t what I like to use as a basis for character analysis and discussion.
Thanks!

I don’t know what kind of game the PR team is playing with Frank, but I don’t like it. I don’t even understand why they’d choose to play it with him (of all characters)! What is this? Did they intend to boot him off the show because they thought he was too dull (and things weren’t dramatic enough between him and Abigail anymore) only to find out that he actually did have some fans? Or is this 100% about making sure someone’s around to marry the show’s golden couple, Jack and Elizabeth? Did Mark speak out of turn/prematurely on his Twitter? That still doesn’t explain Lori’s response to it. Why garner support for Mark’s character if the writers hadn’t already decided not to include him? Was he speaking more about leaving at the end of S5 and Lori was drumming up support for him to stick around through S6?
After this, no information at all and then, “Frank and Abigail resolve their relationship” is part of the 6th episode summary. That episode is conveniently titled, “Love & Marriage” which famously is part of a song: love and marriage, love and marriage...go together like a horse and carriage. The title probably alludes to Jack and Elizabeth’s early-marriage struggles, but a resolution of a relationship is choosing a direction for it, and in a show like this there aren’t many directions it’s likely to go. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to feel about the title except I feel pretty sure we’re supposed to think of the song.
The idea that you marry someone you love might be part of the drama they’re going for, here. If you haven’t noticed, yet, Frank and Abigail haven’t once said “I love you” to each other on-screen. I won’t pretend the writers were smart enough to make that a conscious choice, but...it could play into it.
Anyway, it seems to me there are only three outcomes: either they’ll get engaged/married, they’ll stay together with the intention of getting married sometime soonish (while leaving it a bit more open as to when), or they’ll split up/take a break.
Literally none of these would surprise me. The former makes in-character sense to me. Abigail has managed to become very independent in this series. She knows what she wants and I don’t see any reason why she might hesitate overmuch to go and get it. She doesn’t feel the guilt Clara does (that we know of, anyway)(and listen, if this is the anniversary of Clara’s marriage to Peter, it’s two-ish days before the anniversary of Peter and Noah’s deaths; it could definitely come up in the next episode). If Frank is what she wants, I could see her just diving right in. Why wait? They’re not getting any younger.
But they could stay together while separated physically from one another, too. Or just coast along until it “feels right” to get married. They could also take a break or break up. The series hasn’t really given us a reason to think they’d break up because they’re bored with each other, which leads me to believe if there is a breakup happening, the writers would be smart enough to have a decent reason ready. I know Mark gave some information on Frank’s backstory in an interview or two, but since it hasn’t been incorporated into the series, it’s possible they’ll retcon that information and Frank will be called away to watch over his ailing/dying mother or something to cause a potentially long-term physical separation. Or, again, the concept of “love” leading to “marriage” could come up. I’ll be mighty annoyed if they play the “man doesn’t want to settle down and get married because it ties him down” card. That would be incredibly OOC for Frank; I can’t picture him leading Abigail on. If there’s hesitation in marriage I think Abigail might be the one doing it.
But maybe the issue comes up before marriage-talk. For example, with the characters saying “I love you.” I know in Gilmore Girls one of the early hurdles for Rory was when Dean said he loved her and she just...froze. I feel like Frank is likely to be much more understanding and patient than a teenage boy (if we consider Abigail as the one who may be unable to say it back to him), but it would definitely need to be talked about.
Anyway, my point is that: if a resolution is to be had, a direction chosen, there’s probably a reason for it. Whether that’s because Elizabeth is getting married (and she’s Abigail’s closest female friend), because of interrelationship conflict/issues, or external forces... Well, that’s anyone’s guess at this point. It has to be something, though.
So after all of that stuff with Twitter between Mark and Lori, and then the episode summary... This latest promo image is like, this happy-go-lucky thing from the episode in which things are going to be resolved (supposedly) between them?
...I don’t get it. Is this meant to tell us something?
I mean, look, with another wedding happening it’s possible Abigail has marriage on her mind. She’s been with Frank a pretty long time (especially compared to her less than two week courtship with Noah) so it’s about time to start asking each other if this is what they both want for the rest of their lives. It makes sense.
But I can’t tell if we’re supposed to think they’re going to get a “happily ever after” together or not. It’s frustrating. I feel like between Twitter, the episode summaries, and this image, I’m just getting yanked back and forth. Intentionally. About a character that most people are kind of so-so feeling on. What the heck?

How does Loch feel at the prospect of having a boyfriend/girlfriend/partner? Is it something he's actively looking/hoping for? Is he interested in long-term relationships or short-term?
Ask my muse extremely personal questions. (meme | askbox)
“Aah…I’ve never really…well, I…may have? But… .”  Loch fidgets, clinking the rings he decided to keep after the Ball against his pendant.“I have more important things to worry about, of course.  I have work to do, and my job is very important!  I don’t even have many friends, let alone having someone who’s something more than that, but…it seems nice?  Seeing others around with each other, being affectionate and the like…it seems nice.  Maybe I just find being dedicated to somebody in that way appealing to me…
“But it doesn’t see like something you get drawn to just one person for.”  He tilts his head a little, glancing off to the side, probably at some nearby grunts he could tell you probably have mutual feelings for one another. Or maybe there’s a pair of them in the crowd constantly about Shady House.  Maybe he’s not eying anything in particular, just doesn’t want to look at you.  “Master…I obey him over anyone else.  I never want him to think I’d obey somebody the way I’d obey him.  To me, his word is law. D-disregard that he actively encourages everyone to break the law–aah… .”
Rambling again.  “But…I don’t know.  I don’t think about it much–don’t socialize much, so how could I?”  A chuckle.  “I wouldn’t mind dedicating myself to someone–or some people, as it strikes me as odd that we admit we experience this feeling for so many people but often insist we must dedicate ourselves towards a one–but I imagine that…it’d be dangerous for me. And possibly them, but in a different way. And they’d quickly grow tired of me, whether because I proved…” He swallows, a little uncomfortable, tugging at his pendant.  “A poor or unsuitable partner despite best efforts, or because I’m too dedicated to Master Guzma to properly dedicate myself to them, or anything similar.  In which case, I wouldn’t mind if it was short.  I wouldn’t mind if it worked out and lasted a long time, either.
“But it’s not something actively on my mind.  The notion seems nice.  But I think it’d be easier to have friends before I started on such things.”  A shrug.
Ooc answer under the cut
The truth is Loch’s highly inexperienced when it comes to relationships and, as usual, tends to put work first anyway.  His history of dependency problems shines quite a bit when it comes to sexuality and relationships, often letting his partner lead or make decisions because he doens’t really know what else to do besides attempt to emulate things he understands that others do.
Loch never really had a lot of peer relationships before Skull, so he kind of craves similar things to that, where he’s positively on level with somebody.  The idea of dedicating himself to someone who knows him and trusts him strongly is highly appealing but also scary.  He knows he struggles with saying no or denying the wills of a loved or trusted one.  So it rubs him as allowing himself to be taken advantage of.  But in scenarios where the love is good, it all seems so…pleasant.  Warm.  Close and affectionate.  Trustworthy.
It frightens but also interests him.  He doesn’t make any effort to find a partner, but when he is interested in someone it can get obsessive.  Whoever is his “Master” will always come first, however. He’s never really been in a relationship so he’s not particularly drawn to the concept–never saw it as a fairytale kind of thing where he got married and had kids and dogs and a white picket fence.  Relationships just seem to him like nice things that other people get to experience. He’s still working on friendships lmao but so far the developing romantic things he’s got are very nice. He’s not unfamiliar with the concept, even referred to himself as Sadie’s boyfriend to others once, but he doesn’t really see it as something he has right now.
Length…as he said above, length doens’t matter to him.  Most of his relationships would probably end on fairly amiable terms as long as no one expects him to stop being Loch or shift his dedication to them.  He’ll give them the world.  If he really loves them or interprets them as being in a relationship he won’t know what to do and he’ll just do whatever they want even at risk of his own interest in attempt to maintain it.  But considering in his everyday life he’s recovered a certain amount he may be able to see the harm he’s inflicting on himself and take himself out of it.  He’s not anticipating relationships at all, let alone for them to last, but the concept seems so nice he wouldn’t say no to it going for a long time.
Tbh Loch…isn’t entirely interested?  I won’t say he’s ace/aro–he certainly isn’t in most universes as he’s either riding jacks or halfway stalking benji or sadie–I think he may be in Schädel und Gehirn? But that also crosses over with his ship verses sometimes.  But Loch’s workaholic, Master-dedicated attitude leads to him being…he’s not drawn to relationships too much.  As he said above, he has work to do, important work, and he’d rather live vicariously through others because that’s something that takes less time.  If his verse-Guz is with someone his sexuality tends to decrease it seems–although, I think he may be somewhat jealous of @plumeriaxskull in that particular verse???????????????????? but i think that’s because he wants to be able to help take care of @craniumaniac and he’s pushed him away and told him not to because that’s Plumeria’s job.  I don’t know if it’s a romantic jealousy.  It may just feel that way because of the dedication aspect.  He still gets excited seeing them interact, though, so I don’t think it’s romantic.  I think he just.  Wants to be useful.  And Guzma’s said the reason he can’t be useful to him that way is because Plumeria is lol i am too slow a tagger for us to be properly exploring this the way we should be. i asked for questions to help me do tags and now i’m like ‘no let me spend a hundred years telling you everything about my character’ lolol
it’s 2am and I THINK i’ve answered the question. i think. lemme know if i haven’t and we’ll talk about it some more.
