I love the fact that cannonically Martin considers that the thing that makes Jon recognizable to strangers it's not the myriad of scars but that Jon looks like someone that has not sleept in ages. He could not more enphatically make the point he wants Jon to just take at least a nap already except he makes his point to a total stranger Jon just traumatized instead of saying it to Jon.

the thing is. juno & nureyev's relationship has been such a major guiding thread throughout the podcast and the major drive of season 5, and the fandom has built itself so much (as fandoms often do) around shipping the two of them.

and yet nureyev doesn't show up at all in the last episode! or, he does, but it's only implied (for all we know it could be like. alessandra strong)(i know it's not but it would be really funny) and we don't hear his voice.

and it's so important to me that despite the room that their romance has taken in the plot and in our hearts, his absence reinforces that the point of juno steel's story wasn't a lady getting his man, it was about learning to grow as person for himself and for his friends (and not just his love interest), and it was about finding his footing in life and being at peace with himself and his place in the world. and he did! his growth and relative serenity is so apparent and just. a balm to the soul

and the fact that his man is back is just a nice add-on, not a necessity for his happiness

got to ep72 in my cr2 rewatch and i am going to scream cry and throw up about cad finally meeting one of the dusts and her being this old buff dwarven grandmother and recognising that he's a clay and he just kneels and hugs her and finally gets to hear from someone that his family liek . exist . that it was years ago that they were there . something something about how sort of breathless he gets acknowledging that there's an actual concrete timescale to everything that happened and that he wasn't just alone for , oh you know some time :-) as he says

EPISODE 2 AND 3 HAVE BEEN SOOOO FUN im already so emotionally attached to each of these characters.. if anything bad ever happens to any of them im killing everyone and then everyone.

Making a quick post to point out some of the unnecessary but noteworthy moments from this episode.

- Shout out to my boi Baek Hyunwoo looking absolutely dejected, soulless and lifeless in prison as he builds his case for being framed. I could feel the pain of not fulfilling his promise of being with Hae-in gnawing at him.

Also I'm so sure his notes will be very cute and will come in handy as he fights for his life next episode 🥵🥰

That lil head rest between the Baek siblings! like excuse me, my heart?!

Also his mother meeting him after he's released! Good God I'm a sucker for mother-son relationships 🤧 Especially when the mother is Hyunwoos mom who deserves everything nice in the world and her son is best boi Hyunwoo.

- Haeina's Diary Entry

The aquarium scene piques my interest when I had really lost all hope. It was smart of Haein to do this but also so heart aching. It wasn't as Impactful cause the pace was horrible this episode but it was still very interesting. It's very true to Haein. She's smart to have done it cause she was sort of ensuring one thing or the other reminds her of her love for him. But had she died...oh my god. The pain Hyunwoo must've gone through. Watching that video alone, receiving the bouquet. And that note so full of life and hopeful of a future with him. Good grief.

Such beautiful words. What she advises Hyunwoo in case she dies, tugs at my heart.

Her trust for him to deal with her wealth appropriately will make me cry.

And the way she introduced him was very sweet.

Not to mention the last part of the whole diary where she reminds her self he was her reason to not forget and to live. Where she hops to have him by her side. I like it because while she doesn't remember everything she knows the extent of what she felt for him. I have issues with the whole amnesia thing but it was weirdly interesting to see the way they played her personality post surgery + knowledge of their love.

- Haein piecing her personality back together herself and Aunt's confession scenes were absolutely hilarious.

I fucking loved Gloria Scott 2 so much. The quality. The music. The character and relationship development between Mariana and sherlock, and sherlock and John. CHEFS KISS.

Slight spoilers for episode 3, but we just got a sneak peak into Do young's office and it's a nice dimly lit room with a glass wall overlooking the city and like all I can think about is Do young sitting in his chair, smoking and Dong soo, now fully his "legal advisor" leaning against the desk facing him, a playful look in his eyes as he takes the lit cigeratte from between Do young's lips and puts it between his own. Taking a long puff, his eyes never leave Do young's, as if daring him to do anything about the sheer disrespect of such a gesture.

But Do young stays put, taking in Dong soo's much smaller frame with equal parts fascination and...well carnal lust. Because if it had been any of his other subordinates, Do young knows he'd have thrown them right into the glass wall and off the building. But here he sits still in his seat, almost obediently, allowing Dong soo's lips to blow the misty smoke right onto his face. He has to tug on every single muscle in his body to not pull the older man into his lap right then and there.

And Dong soo knows that, goddamnit. It's evident in the way he puts out the cigarette under his shoe, smirks and with a sly "Good night, Seo Do young-ssi" and with that he's walking out of his office. Do young curses under his breath, a predatory grin spreading across his face.

God, he was so, so obsessed with this man. And he didn't even have the decency to be embarrassed about it.

Oh my god u guys I stayed off social media all day so I wouldn’t see anything and I just got done watching… how is everyone feeling??? This was basically me through out the entire episode

But I hope this fandom will live forever. Levi is my comfort character and I will never let him go hehe 🖤🖤🖤
