Back in winter 2022 I started working on a comic of one of my favorite nsfw oneshots, Practical Demonstration, made like five pages, and then promptly dropped it cause I was still in the midst of Art Block From Hell, among other reasons
but the fic series recently got an update and I read it on a flight last week, which has renewed the brainworms :)
The comic's FAR from finished (I've thumbnailed the entire thing and it comes out to twenty-eight pages, while I have thirteen of those pages in varying stages of completion) but I've been having a lot of fun working on it and forcing myself to try and learn new things (backgrounds/environments, in this case) in the pursuit of Harvey Smut LOL
I thought I'd post some WIP shit here, in case ADHD gets my ass and I end up dropping it again 😭 pray for me

Just curious what the average level of personal investment in these sorts of things is. Like, how much do people usually get into silly stuff like this their friends ask of them? etc. etc. Which I know, only surveying a small sample on a very specific website means I'm not getting an exact average idea lol, but.. curious nonetheless .. Maybe reblog for bigger sample size but also this is not very serious at all/not worth a call to action gbhjbhjb

GENERALLY. in the most general average scenario#where you have the average amount of health and free time that you always do. etc. just based on your personality#and level of investment in these things - what on AVERAGE are you most inclined to do#also of course assume they communicate with you ahead of time and are not like planning a part last minute#like 'throw together costume in 5 hours and show up tonight randomly' or etc. I would hope that if we're going with the#AVERAGE of things - most people's friends have better communication skills than springing entire parties#on people last minute lol#assume you have like.. a few days-a week or so to prepare. however ealrly people usually start talking about#birthdays. In my experience it's usually one or two weeks ahead of time. Honestly my favorite thing to do in the summer is to buy some Ice Cream from Alex and give them to Penny, Jas and Vincent. Is just a little thing I do sometimes, I just think Penny deserves a treat for looking after the kids and teaching them and Jas & Vincent love Ice Cream so is a win-win!

And I visit the beach daily in the morning so yk I get to speak#With them during the summer a lot. Buying treats for Penny Jas and Vincent during summer. Visiting Willy at least once per week to see how he's doing#Always talking with Sam when I see him around 🤭. It help a little with the whole role-playing side of the game hahaha. If you start treating them as stereotypes and ignore the complexity of a country and the wide spectrum of causes–#that contribute to its attitude in international relations.
