Maybe in your world Nonnie, but not in mine and I'm not entirely sure why you felt the need to come and complain about it on my blog, but here we are!

It makes perfect Narrative sense for Tommy to still be around in the back end of the season, and even possibly into the start of season 8. The show is telling a story of Bucks bisexuality, so why woould they get rid of Tommy so quickly? To do so would do a disservice to that story - a massive disservice. I'm guessing you're hating on this relationship becasue you see it getting in the way of Buddie, rather than viewing it as a vital step on the route to Buddie.

Lets put it into simple terms - Buck figures out he's bi and then begins to explore that newly discovered aspect of himself. The show has also taken the time to move Buck from someone who didn't really do relationships (of the long term variety), into someone who is looking for love and looking for forever. But in amongst all of that, he hasn't really had a healthy long term relationship, the closest he had to that was with Ali and that one didn't last especially long and she wasn't around for most of it

Buck isn't ready for an endgame queer relationship right now - he is still to immature from a relationship perspective - especially a queer relationship perspective. If Eddie was available and he and Buck got together - as they are as characters right now, they wouldn't last - they're not in a position to do so successfully. And this isn't me suggesting that they need to have figured everything out before they get together - to have fully healed etc, because thats neither realistic or something I would want to see - what it means is that they both need to get to a point where they are in a healthy enough place to put in the work together, understand each others flaws, and their own flaws and proactively work towards overcoming those things together and as of right now, neither of them are - they are getting their and moving rapidly in the right direction, but Buck needs to learn a bit more, and in many ways learn how to be with a man, before he will be ready to start anything with Eddie.

The growth we're getting to watch Buck go through right now - in the aftermath of the lightening strike, his reckoning with his mortality etc and the fact he's now off the hamster wheel and moving forward - in a healthy and faster way than we've ever seen from him, speaks volumes.

Tommy is also a far better developed love interest than any other love interest we've seen Buck (or indeed Eddie) with (Abby excepted but she was a main, so had her own purpose on the show)- I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling like I know Tommy more after 3 episodes plus what we got from the begins episodes he was in, than I managed to ascertain about Taylor or Ana or Nataila etc!

Not to mention, him figuring out he's in Love with Eddie as part of this process is going to be fun to watch. The show has made no bones about re-enforcing at every. Single. Opportunity how close, how entwined and how important Buck and Eddie are to one another - the show has quite literally been prioritising that over anything else Buck and Eddie related - Buck was there front and centre - placed very much on an equal footing with Shannon and even Eddie himself in 7x01, and then Eddie was the centre of Bucks bi arc in 7x04 and in his coming out in 7x05. They are literally moving chess pieces into place to tell an amazing story of queer love in later life and creating an epic slow burn for the ages.

And finally, Eddie is, as far as we know at this point in time, still in a relationship with Marisol - why shouldn't Buck get to explore who he is and what he want's within a relationship rather than sitting pining on the sidelines - that isn't healthy in any way shape or form. Eddie still has stuff to figure out about himself.

Even Tim and Oliver have stated in interviews that this is about a happy and joyful queer experience of figuring out bisexuality and therefore within that is giving the narrative a romcom vibe. But they have also stated that Tommy isn't going to be around for that long - that he is very much a narrative device.

It is worth pointing out that timelines on various aspects of the narrative may have been shifted because of the season 8 renewal - but that is only going to help tell the story because now it doesn't have to be rushed. I'm still fully expecting some form of feeling realisation from one of them by the end of the season (my money is on Buck), setting up for season 8 and Buddie going canon either 8a finale or early into 8b.

You have every right to dislike Tommy if thats you jam - have at it, but don't come to my blog and expect me to agree with you. I'm not a multi shipper by any means - I'm a one ship kind of gal and I will be a Buddie shipper until the end of time, but within that, I am here for amazing storytelling and amazing queer storytelling - the like of which I've not had the privilege to watch on my screen before - especially one that hits so close to home. Its a really important story to tell and I'd rather it not be rushed.

And if you had to pick - I'm pretty sure you'd rather have Tommy around for a bit longer that Marisol!!!!

"we have noticed that you hand a girlfriend that's a barça fan too and always posts about you and the team. how do you feel after getting this support and having someone cheering for you always?" the interviewer asked, Gavi's smile widening at the mention of y/n

"she's amazing. Her being at the pitch or knowing that she's watching the match gives me enough motivation to do my best. Her support is the reason why I'm here and at this form. I love her so much. I'll do anything for her" he replied, his smile neber fading but widening more and more as he spoke about his love

I can’t tell if this is like a shitpost or a really poorly worded commentary because I have no idea who you are. Frankly I would normally assume the worst block you, buuuuut since I like talking about it I’d love to explain why Samus Aran is extremely transgender.

Tbh I am still tempted to block you but the terrible grammar, spelling error, and nonsensical nature of the ask almost make it seem like a shitpost

First of all Samus being trans-coded was very core to her character from the very beginning. Regardless of the reasons they did it, the original Metroid was intentionally made and marketed to have people assume she was a man. This isn’t even just because people would see a person in a power suit and assume they were a man, the games manual explicitly refers to Samus with he/him pronouns. The immediate assumption that she’s a man because she’s tall, broad shouldered, badass, and wears a power suit that obscures her feminine features until the big reveal is inherently a trans theme. Taking that away makes her a less compelling character. It’s also continued in that Metroid media has continually joked that a lot of the Galaxy assumes that Samus Aran, the greatest bounty hunter in the Galaxy, is a man.

Secondly there was that one Metroid dev who said in an interview that Samus was transgender. The terminology used was outdated and it was explicitly a transphobic joke, but it’s too late she’s ours now.

Thirdly she is (was) built like one of us. That is, prior to the later zero suit designs trying way too hard to be sexy. Like seriously when I first found this image a few years ago I was the same height and weight as her. I miss the big buff broad shouldered Samus design so much and her later redesigns are honestly kinda pathetic by comparison

Fourth, Samus was raised by the Chozo and trained to become a powerful warrior. Part of what they did to make her strong was body modification via Chozo DNA splicing to make her stronger and more agile than a normal human. This is a sci-fi setting where she was raised by an extremely advanced alien race who could change her very DNA, acting like she couldn’t look like she does and be a trans woman is simply not even an argument.

Now, of course, you could refute all this by saying “but Cordelia, we know what Samus looked like as a kid from Metroid Zero Mission and the manga and she was clearly a little girl not a boy.” Now even without addressing the fact that it’s very possible for people to realize they are transgender as children and that children don’t even really have secondary sex characteristics to make it easy to tell what their gender is, this what Samus actually looked as a child:

The combination of all of this gives us trans women a lot of good reasons to believe she is transgender. But also, literally none of this is necessary for me to headcanon a character as trans. Trans women come in all shapes and sizes with all different stories and not a single thing in Metroid canon even remotely suggests that Samus Aran has to be cisgender. And if you try to say “but Samus has no bulge in canonical zero suit Samus depictions!” you’d have to be intentionally dense. Samus Aran is a chimera with a cocktail of human, Chozo, and Metroid DNA and, again, was raised by a race of super advanced aliens. Not only could they have easily given her bottom surgery, but they could’ve even changed her fucking sex chromosomes if she wanted them to. There is literally nothing in Metroid canon that even remotely gives me a reason not to insist that she’s transgender. To be honest, there is more evidence for her being trans than against.

To anyway anyone who actually read this far, I hope you understand the truth. Nintendo’s redesigns are too afraid to show us, but you and I both know that her cock is huge

Hello, I hope you are having a good day. I was wondering if I could ask your thought and possible speculation for next episode. I've read what you've answered so I hope this is not a redundant ask.

I know and we all know that this is gonna hurt Buck to feel left behind to be replaced even maybe not feel good enough to be Eddie's friend (or more but my shipper heart need to calm down) and most of us realise that this is most likely, hopefully the time where buck is gonna realise that he feels more towards eddie. But my question is more regarding Eddie, what do you think happens in his pov? Like eddie doesn't have the same problems as buck regarding abandonment issues but he knows buck has them. You think he gonna realise them like during their basketball fight or after (that is gonna hurt to watch) or maybe someone will point it out? And if he realises it would he also go on a journey to realise his feelings or at least have him question why buck feel that and him wanting buck to realise that he should never think eddie will leave him?

And last then I'm stopping cause I don't want to be a bother, but what about Christopher? You think he's gonna be mentioned? Maybe Tommy mentioning him or something switch the flip for buck to start a fight (I know it's mostly and accident but I dont know how else to put it) or eddie uses christopher to anchor him (more episode 7x05 I guess then)? But that feels like the first one hurts way too much and the second like eddie would mask his feelings by using Christopher as a sort os middle ground/shield.

Sorry for the long ask is just that I ve always been the person whose friends preferred other friends and never picked for teams that sort of thing so just the sneak peak hurts to see and I wanted some insight and I've really liked your take on the whole thing. I think Eddie’s perspective is super interesting to get into this episode because I genuinely think that he genuinely doesn’t realise that buck could be jealous because in his head he’s reassured Buck so many times and he himself is so self assured in their friendship and their places in eachothers lives that I think it genuinely doesn’t cross his mind at first to even think buck may be jealous. Like you saw him in that sneak peak like he saw buck and started bouncing on his heels like OMG BUCK IS COMING? YOU SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THATS SO GREAT!!!!!🥰😍👏🏽👏🏽

I think like when he sees the jealousy that seems to be apparently directed toward him over tommy(??) and also towards him having other friends that he’ll be a little pissed and hurt and confused inside but nothing like deep or angsty I think he knows buck enough to like understand how deep his insecurities lie and will very easily overcome this little conflict

I don’t think from his perspective he’d question buddie things based off of this because their relationship has always been different than other friendships and buck has always been very insecure in general so he may hash it up to that, but if buck were to point out that not only is he feeling replaced on a friendship level by Tommy and maybe mention something about Marisol it could cause a little 🤨👀👀👀 moment but I think that’s the secret optimist in me

Ah stop don’t worry about being a bother I legit love these asks, on the Christopher front I think that’d be hard to fit in but would be cool to see, like I think that based off interviews it’s supposed to be a very lighthearted episode so I’m not expecting an overt amount of angst. But Chris is such a huge part of Eddie’s life and this is a character driven episode so I can see them mentioning him. Also I sorta made a joke about this but I can see them not so subtly comparing player Chris at the start of the season to this funny little jealousy thing going on between buck and Eddie.

Last of my Hunger Games reread thoughts! Lets Gooo!

I have a whole other level of love and appreisation for any of these little times Katniss says she does something with Peeta for herself. Like, knowing what's coming it feels like gold. All the way through to the end of the book.

Katniss and Peeta have been a shocklingly amazing team from the first moments on the train but here, as they are wrapping up thier days in the arena it shows that fact off. They work so well in tandem. They have skills, know one anothers skills and work with that together and I love it.

The presious moment of calm between Katniss and Peeta. DAWW.

Collins and her narrative build up skill? Like when we see all the tributes going the more you realize just how very real the show down with Cato is gonna be. It feels like this showoff was set up from the beginning...cause shock! It was and Collins has been planning to pay it off.

I rememberd how human the dog mutts were, but not to what extent. They were planning, coordinating and even seemingly speaking at some points. It's horrific.

Cato's death is also horrific. Like he suffered for a whole night, just being eaten almost alive. As cruel as he's been Collins puts his humanity in your face in his speech holding Peeta and how the mutts attacking him is desribed.

SO this arch of Katniss sort of...realizeing who the enemy is comes together with the moment of mercy for Cato. She doesn't want him dead, despite haveing those thoughts the whole time. But she sees he is a boy, lied to and hurt by the Capitol just like her and she ends his suffering because that vengence is gone. That seeing him as an enemy is gone. And thats slowly been revealed to her since Rues death. The Capitol Is the one causeing all of this, not even the better off tributes like the Careers.

Another thing I didn't recall was just how COLD the gamemakers made this last night. Katniss and Peeta are shareing body heat and are still cold stiff.

Changing the rules a second time could not have been a worse choice. It almost invites an act like the berries. It shows how much they NEED a single victor. That they need things the way they want it and are willing to bend for it.

So the berries. I think it's so significant that Katniss says she's never really leave the arena if Peeta dies, and that she'll alway be here trying to find her way out. The implications of this level of greif is NOT a small one. Katniss is saying she'd die here with him, even if her body lived should Peeta die. And honestly that makes the stunt with the berries

Peeta and Katniss's conversation before the berries was actually painful. They love one another so much I can't-

Katniss being unable to leave Peeta and thinking he dies is also hits like a train. Collins doesn't run out of ways to express fear, loss and greif. It is just as in your face every time. Mind you, this is before Katniss is told she needs to convince anyone of their love, and after they made it out of the arena. There is NO acting here, no fakeness. This panic at watching Peeta possibly be lost to her is 100% genuine.

Love how Katniss almost speeds us through the end of the game interviews and recap stuff...she is just as uninterested in it as me quite frankly. Instead focusing on trying to play things as safely as she can.

And the most painful part. The reveal to Peeta of Katniss's uncerteinly. Katniss is walking this line of confusion. Wanting and careing for Peeta but being unsure where the line is between that and what the Capitol wants is. But the last words of the book being her missing and dreading letting him go.

🥰 no problem and despite my eye rolling at certain anons there are actually no stupid questions, especially when you are coming at it from a place of not being here.

People (me included) believe Louis more than likely chose her as his choice for a stunt girl. We think he “auditioned” a couple of girls, Alycia being one of them, and ultimately chose to go with Danielle. No one actually knows why he picked Danielle over Alycia.

There was talk that they were friends and they got along, and Danielle did in fact watch/spend time with Fizzy, the twins and the younger twins in 2016, which retrospectively we can assume was because Louis, Lottie, their grandparents etc. were caring for Jay. That like. Is a fact. Danielle spent a lot of time with the family. So it is very possible she became good friends with them.

That said there was also plenty of evidence her and Louis did not get along. For starters, she didn’t actually spend as much time with him personally as she made it seem. She played very well at pretending but after the breakup and finding out Cliff was, at the time actually Louis’ dog - who Louis got for himself from one of Danielle’s uncles friends or whatever - made some things we saw over 2016 look different. For example a lot of times we thought Danielle was with Louis would be because Lottie to Calvin showed a video of Cliff. We thought Cliff was Danielle’s dog, therefore if Cliff was there Danielle was there. But with the new knowledge that Cliff WASNT Danielle’s dog we realized in videos where we ONLY saw Cliff and not her little red dog, or herself, Cliff was probably just chilling with Lottie or Calvin in the house alone.

Because they were somewhat red carpet official if you think about it - aka going to events together - we also got them talking about each other and lemme clue you, both of them very clearly never talked to one another. Louis memorably said he had no clue what Danielle thought about racing when they were AT A FORMULA 1 EVENT and had FLOWN THERE ON A PRIVATE JET. Like y’all were up there in that thing, going to an event, and y’all couldn’t even make small talk enough about the event you’re going to to be able to answer something simple like “what do you think they think about this”. Not to mention Danielle and her “oh I sympathize with the stalkers they just love Louis so much” like the two of them were very much not on the same page.

Finally is the fact that we also got reports that Danielle trying to kiss Louis in front of the fans and him pretty aggressively pushing her away. Thats… that’s always the big one for me about whether or not they were friends.

As for her confirming being a beard, no she never did that. Or if she did I sure never heard about it. And also any paid beard worth their salt would NEVER admit to being a beard while the person they bearded for is still closeted because that’s called outing someone and that’s Very Fucked Up.

Lyra and Will is the best YA romance I've ever read. Not joking when I say I felt hollow for months when I read the part where they had to be separated at the end of 'The Amber Spyglass'.

Amir and Dafne did a fantastic job. I loved how they gave them more soft moments without cheapening their bond. Throughout the books, their relationship is incredibly delicate and subtly written (they're young after all) and they could have easily made it more obvious and over exaggerated for a Mainstream Audience. You'd think that wouldn't be possible but thats what Moira Walley Beckett did with Anne and Gilbert in 'Anne with an E' (that relationship basically consisted of staring at each other from a distance in that show rather than having a consistent build up)

I read an interview of Amir saying that he and Dafne never really looked at it as a romantic thing. It was more important that Will and Lyra were two friends that get along, and something might happen if it does happen. "When playing the scenes, it was never in the back of my mind" which is the way it should be approached with Lyra and Will because their relationship was not "framed as romantic" by Philip Pullman, it came naturally.

Edit: I wrote this analysis ^^ before my re-read and after re-reading the books I realised that was a bad approach to Lyra and Will's relationship. Even from the start, Lyra and Will's interactions are charged in the books and playing platonic until the finale at the end, is kind of a weird decision.

I personally always saw it as a deep bond between two teenagers, that became physical during the end because of everything they went through. It went beyond the typical romantic duality.

However, If I had to choose which version of their relationship I prefer (the book or the TV Show) I would have to choose the book. Because I felt during the last third, in the finale, that their relationship was a bit compacted like kiss -- you have to choose worlds -- separation. In the book, that part is so dragged out and emotional. Lyra and Will spend ages trying to find loopholes, find that there are none, then both of them get angry and upset. And it’s described that the angel felt their 'sorrows in the air'. In the tv show, I didn't really feel all that because everything was so 'get to the point' - when this is supposed to be a drawn out climax.

Unlike some others, I simultaneously believe that Lyra and Will are each others other half/soulmates. They are the only people in 'His Dark Materials' that can touch each others daemons without it being a violation and they will never love anyone else the way they loved each other. That's basically confirmed in 'The Secret of Commonwealth' (the spin off to 'His Dark Materials) where Lyra states that she still thinks of him every hour and that he’s the centre of her life.

And that their separation made sense.

Even though it was the most heartbreaking thing I ever read and left me hollow inside - its not realistic for them to have a solid relationship at 14 or how ever young they were at that point, especially on top of all their trauma. Also, it’s suggested in the books that everything must go back to the way that it was (closing all the windows) almost saying to the reader, you can't live in a fantasy world forever, you have to go back to the real world and live a full life. It’s like at the end of 'The Lord of the Rings' where Frodo destroys the ring, yet still dies at the end because of everything he went through.

It’s not fair. It’s not right. But thats just how life goes sometimes. Plus it made their ending a lot more memorable and iconic. I've actually gone to their real bench in Oxford and cried.

Although saying that, Philip Pullman has to let them see each other again when they're adults, in the last 'Book of Dust' - at least one last time come on now. But I have a feeling he won't reunite them until they die because he’s a cruel, cruel man.

sooooo my wifi has been out for nearly 24 hours and despite it making me go a little insane, it DID give me time to finish until dawn! i was a lot closer to the end of the game then i thought i was, goddamn, and i think i only had? two? deaths? chris and josh. wait no thats wrong, mike died in the explosion. i might do a replay if my wifi doesn't come back soon because im at a serious deficit of other stuff to do rn, EA app wont let me open sims 3 bc its not connected to wifi 😭 i enjoyed it a lot more than i expected, but i kinda dislike how much it didnt really tie up jess and matt falling into the mines? like they both crawled out together but then it just ends there, they didn't meet up with anyone else which kinda stunk. i do wanna do an everyone lives run really bad tho, i think i know what choices i have to make for the most part?? i know for everyone other than josh because the butterfly effect for it was SO VAGUE "sam missed a crucial piece of information -> josh didnt recognize hannah on time" girl WHAT does that even MEAN but yeah okay ill stop rambling now djwjfkqkq

oh interesting!! i'm not surprised that josh died, most people don't find the crucial piece of information on their first playthrough (i'll tell you where to find it under the cut if you don't want to be spoiled!)

but i totally agree about jess and matt! when they were developing the game, jessica was supposed to ALWAYS die during mike's chase sequence, but then they decided they wanted each of the characters to have the option of survival, so they added that short jessica segment towards the end. but this is where i think until dawn fails miserably at satire. they have the "blonde slut" being punished for promiscuity and the token black character who is widely regarded as the easiest to kill by accident. it's like they're making fun of those archetypes without doing anything subversive about it. so the reason why jessica & matt feels lackluster is because it most definitely was an afterthought. they kind of assumed both of them would already be dead by this point :/

i'm actually fine with the police interviews being the only ending, although i would've loved to see some of the stronger relationships reunite ;-; there's a little bit of variation in the interviews depending on what choices you made and who died. knowing that the characters themselves haven't reunited yet (they're still asking about each other in their interviews) makes it a little better for me because at least i don't feel like i missed anything off screen, if that makes sense

also i'm so curious how you got chris killed?? ashley didn't lock him out did she? chris has a lot of possible death scenes but imo they're pretty hard to get organically so i'm always interested when i hear that he died in a blind playthrough

how to "save" josh:

when you're playing as sam and wading through the water with mike in the mines, you have to walk to the left (i think) of the water wheel and there's an extra area. HIGHLY recommend you find it because it explains a lot about the game!! it bothers me that they made it optional and the totem that hints at it is sooo vague

Sometimes I just think about how ichigo and grimmjow both have/had five friends/companions who they fought/travelled together with but ichigo's friends vowed to grow stronger so they could fight along side him as equals where as grimmjow's fraccion gave up the possibility of growing stronger in order to support his growth

So, about max and her monologue about billy, it's not that I dont believe max could feel such a way or that it doesnt make sense (honestly I would be a liar if I said I haven't also wished my shitty brother dead before) but it also feels a little off to me considering how their relationship was presented in s3.

At first I thought maybe i had misinterpreted it, maybe max and billy really did hate each other right up until the moment of his death. But then i remembered this interview with sadie sink from 2019 where she spoke about max and billy going into s3

I didnt expect them to be best friends or even particulary close with each other (and I had a strong feeling billy was gonna die anyway) but I remember feeling hopeful when I read this interview, hopeful that we'd at least get to see a different side to their relationship, and I was massively disappointed when s3 barely focused on them at all.

But, the small glimpses that we did see proved that they were in a different place than they had been in s2

When max talked to el about billy she spoke in a lighthearted manner, she wasnt resentful, she made jokes, she talked about him like he was just her annoying gross older brother who liked to walk around without a shirt on and bring girls home to make 'happy screams'

And then, of course, theres the sauna test. She was visibly distressed upon seeing Billy in that state. She was in pain. She started crying. She said, "it's okay... i believe you... we're going to figure this out together okay" like she actually wanted to help him, save him...

And thats why it feels weird to me. Not because feelings are complicated and that a few peaceful months between them dont erase everything he put her through, but because she apparently went from we'll figure this out together to I dont know if he deserved to be saved in the space of three days.

And when I say it feels weird, I think what I mean is ffs a little consistency would be nice

Leverage Log: The Corkscrew job

Assumptions based on the episode name: Either wine tastings and/or vinyards, a really cool rollercoaster, or ducks. (please dont be ducks) --- Its vinyards, (sad rollercoaster noises, happy not-a-duck noises), presumeably minority migrant labour exploitation. Guy just fainted/died from possible heatstroke. --- Big NDA check. Means there is definitly somethign bigly wrong at the vinyard. (so probably not heatstroke). My initial guess is poisonous herbicide exposure, --- Elliot as a menial physical labourer (classic Elliot point-of-entry) waterbottle established really early in the episode. Leads me to suspect the poison is some kind of water-based fertiliser.

Parker is infiltrating as an intern (undefined position) at the distillery/processing part of the vinyard. I agree with Parker, internships are exploitation.

I am kind of disapointed with the people who took a place called "bee meadow" and made it a winery. ("bee mead,ow". Bees and Mead are literally in the name. Its simple branding people!) --- "lets go steal a bottle" "no," the look on Sophie's face when NATE refuses the Lets go steal line. (stealing the bottle means an insurance payout.)

Good work with Sophie interviewing the person who opened the vacancy for Hardison to exploit. --- "get me everything on this list, its gonna take you a while." Ok its time for Parker to leave the spotlight and enter the backstage. Grape Gatsby. Thats a good one. (not good enough to counter the Bee Mead-ow failure though) --- Oh his name is Madigan with an M. (i kept hearing it as "ratigan", like the villain of Great Mouse Detective)

Nate talks about this guy being a vintner and claims he "knows wine-making on a molecular level". Problem is its already been established he's a quantity over quality kind of fellow. --- Sophie about to do a sale, scene cuts back to the vinyard. Woman with a waterbottle (so its definitly in the water. unlike my first guess it was gonna be a pesticide on the fruit)

Oh its amphetamines or something right? get them all slightly coked up to increase worker productivity. The doctors claim of a heart attack didnt even need to be forged.

And Elliot found it, its the fertiliser. (boring, uncreative, predictable.) --- More Yeast=CO2 exposition from our mark. Shot focussed on her bag (hiding the fake bottle for the inevitable failed attempt at a switch.)

Guy put security on the thing (a license plate? Presumably with some kind of RFID that triggers a sensor somewhere)

Sophie planting the seeds of doubt --- Servers been whiped, someone already has a copy. We have an ally. And we just accidentally compromised our ally. --- Auditor is coming (presumeably to audit the wine, verify their real-ness so the collateral retains its value)

Fraud 1: Simple sleight of hand, a sticker over the E on the label. Fraud 2: Glass, (lovely tangent as to the butterfly effect and one countries independence effecting the economic price of its natural resources, which affects the history of glassblowing.) Trick: A tiny glass lens that has an anachronistic composition slid before the scanning laser-thingy. --- Back to the vinyard, goons are coming for our Ally. --- Fraud 3: Radiation (bottles made after a certain year are affected by nuke tests. Bottles made before that have been kept in pristine vaults and cellars are not) Solution: Switch the auditors gloves with radiation-lined stuff. And i agree, we do all feel cheated.

And of course Madigan just bribed the guy. All this work, Hardison broke into a US army base to steal nuclear material and the mark just bribed the auditor

Meanwhile Elliot has found evidence of ally's kidnapping. --- They're gonna gas our ally, Mark's locked Hardison out of the HVAC system so we're going manual.

Elliot has to fight in an oxygen deprived state Parker and Hardison run to open some doors. --- Ally is safe with all the evidence she has, and the mark thinks his bottle is fake. Time for Nate to buy a bottle.

Set him up for fraud, get the auditor to confess. "keep it, its fake after all".

the little smile at the mark to tip him off that he just sold it for real. --- Nate understands wine enthusiasts enough to know nobody is ever drinking from that bottle. (I think she's definitely drinking Hardisons wine though, cause Nate just "told her a story")

Hes gettin a lot of love now bt i really hope he gets sum PR lessons cuz his primt interviews r... questionable 💀 wat seperate him from THE it boys is i wuldnt say hes that likable wen he opems his mouth. Obviously the rumors about him possibly cheating on Joey n Z bt even just locals read his interviews he can sound pretentious, ungrateful (him dissing tkb) or just off. I wuld hope hes smart enough nt to diss one one of these more "respected" projects bt who knows with him 😭 a woman or POC culd never get it away with it without sum backlash bt hes obviously different

I agree Anon... I think it was only a matter of time. I mean, if you listen to what he's been saying for years, he's been wanting to do films like Brando, Heath, etc. made. It may take a while for your dreams to come true, but if you keep working at it, they will eventually come true.

I agree w/you about the media and PR training lol. I think that would be my biggest worry as well. He doesn't come across as that likeable to me 🥴, but maybe that can be changed with just some training. Cuz I agree...some of the stuff he says in his print interviews is just WEIRD, and he can come off as a bit ungrateful and just arrogant at times. Like, he feels he should be way further along in his career than he is. 🙄

I think people should continue to work hard, and just be appreciative for where they are in their current moment. Things may change in the future, but don't act entitled. I don't mind if he has interests in certain things.... Is that being pretentious? I mean, idk...he likes what he likes I guess. I suppose I'll have to see what you mean by that. I need an actual example. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Was going to leave comment but I actually uate leaving YT comments— so here we go commentary on this video:

I agree that 10's ending felt like an ending to the show which meant not giving 11 a chance, he was unintentionally set him up to lose viewers. But 10s ending as a character still makes sense, his wallowing over it, his last line, and his complete angry rant about it not being fair after he thought he escaped were all very in character. He was the most human like doctor in the new series— and I mean tbf he turned into a human twice (John Smith & Meta Crisis). I've heard from fans his idea of regeneration being dying is possibly heavily influenced by how John Smith died, and that makes sense to me.

11ths is great. 11 was Amy's imaginary friend, him hallucinating Amy makes complete sense even without Rory; especially because regeneration energy makes all the Doctors high. I also always thought 11 should have been Amy-Rory-River only, no Clara. I don't mind Clara with 11 at the end of the day, but I still think those 4 should have been a neat box with a nice bow all wrapped up (except River who is a nice surprise among 12). The bit about him getting younger again is a bit odd, but I think the speech coming from the actual actor rather than a make-up aged version of the actor was better. It gives a better goodbye to the audience in my opinion sometimes focusing on the audience especially (not the characters) with changes like this, is okay.

River & 12 being together for 24 years is bad??????? I've never heard that take. I love it so much. The Husbands of River Song is one of the best episodes ever for me. "No it doesn't mean forever, it just means time. But I suppose thats not something you could ever understand." - River. Maybe it's because of how big of a River x Doctor fan I am and other people really disliked it. Alex Kingston's reaction to the scene when watching it was really cute

The bit about Donna being a really good end because Davies understands endings and the Clara thing being stupid because Moffat doesn't know how to end things might probably age badly when the 14th doctor specials comes out, we'll just have to wait and see

Maybe everything said in this video is why I prefer Moffat often, Davies episodes often make me way too damn sad when I just want a break from my shitastic life. I don't want my heart broken at the end of every episode.

Obviously 13 isn't in the video. Hers is short and sweet ("less is more with regeneration" according to the video) I know people kinda hated the "tag you're it" line but it seems entirely in character for her. And gives the next doctor a chance for fans to like (if it had been Ncuti) instead of dislike because he represented her dying. Its the polar opposite of 10s regeneration. Which kinda makes it hilarious that she regenerates into Tennant.

I don't have a feeling one way or another on 12, except the line about his name made no sense considering he tells River. There were good nuggets in it but it did feel like it had unnecessary bits. I can say, the destruction of the TARDIS was Chibnall's idea IIRC. He wanted it destroyed. Steven Moffat even expressed a bit of dislike for that choice (its in an interview I can't find).

9s was good but I don't see how it was SCORES better than all the others as the video explaones. I love the emotions and confusion from Rose. And his last line is absolutely amazing.

The 8th was really great because of the Karn aspect imo.

I think thats all my thoughts? I rarely disagree so heavily with a video like this. Reviews of specific episodes absolutely all the time; but when its talking about something overall like comparing regenerations I usually agree with something but other than the 8th doctor, and Moffat needing to learn to just let characters die, I don't think I agreed with much else.

Sudden Shouji brainrot time!

Been thinking about his reason to become a Hero, and part of me wonders if his reason is the same as Spinner’s - to change the system

But I guess, in a different way. Spinner seems to want (or wanted, considering that he’s focused on Shiggy now) to make a statement, or just target the system in one way or another

Shouji, however, seems to want to change something within the system. By correcting, or doing little things to care for other heteromorphs who may have gone through discrimination in the times they’re in. He’s had quite a bit of focus with other heteromorphs anyway

And this moment here

It’s to be noted that this is during a scene where everybody else is saying goodbye to their loved ones, family and such, but Shouji is here shaking hands with a heteromorph he’s likely only just met in the course of 3 days (I’m assuming it’s been 3 days anyway)

This tells me that Shouji is shown with her because he got to know her, as in he made an effort to walk up and ask how she is, how she’s handling herself, if she has any support etc. This would show how easily Shouji can connect with other heteromorphs, treating her like family or naturally helping her as much as possible, offering his own support

It’s the way, really, that he’s been shown with other heteromorphs just as naturally as other non-mutants, though I don’t think we’ve ever seen scenes like this before with other civilians. I don’t even think we’ve seen scenes like this before with other heteromorph classmates - but these have been shown twice now and it makes me think that Shouji is a very For The People guy. Or that his reason for being a Hero is very For The People

And this would actually be a difference being made. I don’t quite know how society handles heteromorphs, the specifics I mean, but from what we know, heteromorphs still aren’t as equal as they would like to be. And I imagine that society isn’t as forward about it as others would like them to be (especially considering the children’s book that seems to just be ignored sometimes)

So there’s society, not being as forward with addressing heteromorph problems, not doing what they should to correct those changes, small or large, to benefit mutants...

And then in comes Shouji, who is so kind, so accepting of people, who walks up to other heteromorphs and accepts their help (the umbrella), or who offers his own hand to other heteromorphs he barely knows (heteromorph lady), who even seemed to correct All Might about everyone in the League

It’s almost like Shouji is... a sort of quiet support. Gently correcting, quietly offering his hand, saying kind words. I see it as a way of committing himself to naturally changing the atmosphere, instead of making a big statement

When I think about Shouji’s reason to be a Hero, though it hasn’t been stated yet, I think about how much he’s just. there for people, a quiet support. He doesn’t have to say “I’m there for you” to let you know he’s there for you, yknow?

But it’s not like he didn’t say anything when All Might only mentioned everyone but Spinner. He just corrected him, saying “well thats probably not everyone” and seemed to leave it at that

I really do hope we’ll get more on Shouji, and by the looks of whats been happening in the background (plus what Hori has said in interviews), I think we will at some point. And I can’t wait until then, cuz I really wanna know more about him

I mean, this is only based off like 3 scenes with Shouji, all of which are quite small so it may be overthinking on my part lol. But this is what I get from him anyway - he just seems like an overall supportive guy, kind and accepting
