the thing about me is that the process of waiting for a new ep is relatively new for me... i watched the pilot when it came out like everyone else did but at the time i was too focused on a different show to really care (one, which is funny, since its an extremely similar show conceptually) (i highly recommend it i was obsessed w it for well over a year and thats like. genuinely some sort of record for me. and when i say the shows are similar i mean soooo similar. not enough that they fill the same spot in my heart but like. if you watch it ull see what i mean heart emoji). i was around when the teaser came out but i wasnt super invested at the time. it was only like 2 months ago that i decided to get high and watch the show and i was like. woah. woah wait this show fucks

ive liked shows n stuff that were ongoing so its not like im unfamiliar w that concept but i feel like every show and its community and its team has a different feeling and cycles to new parts of it coming out. and bc ive never seen how that works for this show im very excited to find out... i find older posts abt teasers and images from episodes and the site and whatnot and i imagine ill be weird and very not normal about it! because that tends to be my response to those sorts of things

#hell i watched it all AFTER even the qna happened #so i really havent been around for like. I don't have much energy for more than throwing random ideas in a pot but many thoughts about Robin and Wren and what has made their relationship so fraught

#i think the canon reasoning is gonna be different but to me they are cousins and robin looked up to wren a lot as a kid #they don't come from a well off family and wren got involved w a rougher crowd trying to get up and ahead in life and help their family #ended up in prison working for the big criminals in there for a chance of survival. attracted remy's attention and got bailed out to work #for her. but by then robin's opinion of them tanked hard (and robin has a v rigid morality and is prone to black and white thinking so)#and they never really recovered. as wren gets in deeper and deeper shit because remy actually pays them well enough for it even though they #dont like her and robin refuses to acknowledge the only living close family she has left #i think wren actually gives robin more money than their family sends (they live in mainland india in my headcanon) and thats how she managed #to stay afloat for a while. i think bailey knows this and started collecting her ''debt'' earlier too but its how she affords electronics #and stuff like that despite only having a lemonade stand as her own ''legitimate business'' lol #she has no idea wren puts in more money than their family sends because its not THAT much money but would blow her top if she knew (again #very rigid morality) and i think it would be fun for PC to find out and wren to threaten you into silence. i think it'd be great to have #options to either repair or damage their relationship more #anywaysssssd again no energy but just know i have thoughts #oh!! disclaimer: vrel has said theyre not canonically related! this is a bunch of headcanons #just to make it clear

It's so miserable making side characters for a story and getting attached because now not only are you obsessed with a guy that only exists in your head even if they existed out of your head they'd still be basically just in your head. people want to say the English dub for star rail is bad and refuse to use it when the VA for Sunday exists?! I have watched so many playthroughs now and i'm still so blown away by the small little details in the voice and the execution and how the specific enunciation of every syllable holds an incredible amount of weight behind it. you can FEEL the OCD/control-order obsession and trauma in every word he says, every syllable. this guy is so good. wow. the more I rewatch the more of it I hear and it just gets more insane. if you have the time, rewatch it and REALLY LISTEN to him.

i am very grateful that im not someone that has to deal with daily seizures but it is evil when it takes like a week and a half's worth of business days to recover from a seizure

#if i had them everyday or every other day i would be so fucked 😭#id like to say they dont bother me per se but the entire week after is laying in bed after 11 pm and wondering if jts going to happen again #bc my head feels like its about to explode #and then do not get me started on the fear of getting in the shower within the first few days of one happening .#reasonably i understand that my seizures happen from 11pm to maybe 3 am on average .#but ill have a seizure and then have to hype myself up for like 2 hours just to take one 3 days later st like 2 pm #my seizures do not interfere with my day to day life in extreme ways but existing knowing that i have them during a certain time frame is #like. Hey man can you grow up #also it is really funny being told theyre probably hormonal or stress related and should 'probably stop' as i get into my mid 20s .#Well im turning 25 next month and evidently i still have seizure activity in me #also also heres a fun fact: my epilepsy does not have an actual named diagnosis they just said i certainly have a Form of it ❤️#they dont know what causes them and i have no real warning signs (bc a headache =/= potential seizure)#they dont bother me but i do have to live with the knowledge that i could have one any day now and wake up to my mom asking me questions #hope everyone can tell i have a lot of feelings about my epilepsy despite not talking about it like ever ❤️#the only thing that really bothers me is the no warning signs. ive been perfectly fine and had them. ive had massive migraines when i was #unmedicated and didnt have one. very bizarre #and ofc all my brain scans come back normal all the time so they dgaf Lol

as someone who knew nothing about the books or show until i watched it last year on a whim, i was a belly x conrad girlie. i still am, but man, with season 2 already foreshadowing how much theyre soulmates, i feel bad jeremiah doesnt get a fair and fighting chance as belly’s love interest. every time he is, it’s just an afterthought. and it makes the “love triangle” a lot less intriguing bc, well, theres nothing to be intrigued about!!! theres no pining, we all know — even jeremiah himself — that she will always have conrad as number #1. justice for jeremiah and belly to have a fair love story actually

Getting into stuff that has a lot of pre-announced release dates is really good for me like vocal synthesizer products and new love live etc franchise music releases....I'll be lying in bed at like 2 AM with ur usual 20-something's fear and existentialism over time and the future and then I'll remember a piece of singing software or a new song related to cartoon characters I like is gonna come out like next month and I'm like 😌

#this keeps happening to me with the upcoming december #miki and kiyoteru sv.....im so excited...if they get delayed ill scream #jk jk ill be fine but i do hope we get some demos in November soon!#soyogi still doesnt have a concrete release date but hes also probably december #now if HE gets delayed i will actually explode. i will spontaneously burst into flames #the other night i had a dream about aivoice2 ryuusei coming out. which is a normal thing to happen #it literally was just like i went online and saw videos people made with him SHDBFBSJFNFN #premonition dream...this is what will happen in november #but it reminded me i wasnt as familiar with how aiv2 sounds with a2sync. i like the aiv1 kotonosync situation #BUT it is very noisy and the vocals usually sound like lalavoice with the slightly obvious looping #which is charming but not as versatile in the grand scheme of talk synths made to sing #just the nature of it. but a2sync sounds FANTASTIC i was really shocked. im curious how his #particularly deep voice will sound compared to a more medium gentle tone like iori but im excited #im really curious how he'll sound compared to vv humming ryuusei #now what weve seen of his design.....im not suuuper into quite yet. its not BAD and well see when its fully out #but i dont care for the blue hair bits. im picky about hair dye in alternate designs #i like his gray black default situation too much. also i DO like how slutty his design is looking #but also it might look um. a little too much for a talk synth? like brother whats going on here #why are u so dressed up to chat ....i guess for fun #then again his aiv1 design was also probably more appropriate for singing synths rather than talking But I like that one more LOL #doesnt matter too much for me though im more interested in the unofficial singing side stuff AHDBFHSHFBDJJD #which also reminds me i hope someday aiv1 vy series can get a aiv2 update #a full singing synth would be nicer but i wouldnt mind a talk turned singing synth. i know everyone hates the aiv vy designs #i dont hate them theyre not great but theyre fine for talk synths. i think nancy is hilarious. white woman jumpscare #im not a huge fan of the main fanon vy designs (theyre good but they dont fit to me) so i dont mind the aiv ones #even if its just two random people SHBFJFAJFJFJSJJF but yeah i hope they get a aiv2 someday #i think it would be fun to make em sing with a2sync hee hee #also on the ll end i am so excited for dia birthday album end of dec #AND all the new liella tunes. i still havent watched the new season because i havent been able to sit down and enjoy it yet #but soon....next week ill have time...sooooooon

Sometimes I just look at Isabeau and just know that if isat came out and I got into it when I was like 16 he would be my favorite character and I would've gone absolutely buck wild over this man and feel like he was laser targeting me. But alas Odile has a grip of steel on me rn due to her virtue of being a middle aged woman

#rat rambles #stars posting #I feel like the biggest change in my taste in characters as the years have gone by is Im now far more biased towards old ppl lol #although tbf I was also the one person in 2016 who actually liked asgore so maybe Ive always liked parhetic old ppl #but yeah the reason isa is past me bait is because hes an exploration and subversion of the sort of tropes I Hated as a kid #and I still dont like them so isa still appeals to me its just not as much as he would have to a younger me #I do genuinely love all the party very dearly tho theyre all soooo good #I think my favorite part of isabeau is how like. of everyone we get to see the least facets of him but like in a very good way #this is a man who hides and bottles shit hes so fun to rotate #his self image is so carefully controlled compared to everyone else which makes him an incredibly interesting character to analyze #and I love that despite him seeming like the most emotionally stable person here on the surface he still clearly has like. hashtag issues.#like he's in that beautiful zone where its so so fun imagining what it would look like to truly break him #<- normal things that normal ppl say. like me.#I may have my very light beef with alt looping aus as a concept but hes probably the most interesting alternate looper to me #also my light beef exclusively relates to king quest stuff which is why Im a big fan of duo looper aus with sif #but honestly. isa might be the only one that I genuinely think works better as a solo looper even with taking king quest into account #although bonnie comes close. I <3 looper bonnie I <3 seeing fictional children go through the horrors #I think theres a lot of fun to be had with any alt looper au tho I just am a huge king quest fan so I like it when my favorite elements of #it dont have to be handwaved #but yeah the real question is how would younger me feel about mirabelle #because on the one hand: acearo character #but on the other hand: I have always been a little hater abt romance so idk if younger me would rly be able to follow her character well #I wasnt exactly good at character analysis back then lol #except for the instances in which I was but I dont have that sort of faith in my younger self #yknow Im thinking abt my history of favorite characters now and I think me being one of few 2016 alphys enjoyers might have been a prophecy #she was my quote unquote third favorite but in reality she was second #I think she chara and peridot su teamed up to define my taste in fictional characters for the next several years #and somehow that lead to olivia becoming one of my favorite fictional characters of all time #I say somehow as if that isnt a very natural conclusion
