What’s the origin of your blog title?

Honestly I didn’t even have one for ages and then I saw a will graham meme with it and I was like damn girl you and me both. Sure, this represents me.

I literally have soooo many but recently most focused on radarhawk (mash-quelle suprise there) and hannigram because it’s 2015 again. BUT some of my other OGs that i return to over and over again for years are iorveth/Roche (Witcher) maxAnne and charles/Jack (black sails-ranger crew my belovedddddd) tommy/Alfie (peaky blinders) charmac (iasip) Thomas/jimmy (downton abbey) god the list just goes on… I think the OLDEST that I’ve been invested in over a decade are hannigram and iorveth/Roche though.

Toss up between pink and green depending on the day!

If you work, what’s your profession?:

Hairstylist! Though I do 70% men’s cuts so I’m not sure if barber is more accurate…wotever

If you could have any job you wish, what would it be?

I was really interested in marine biology! I really love fish and aquatic stuff. I also was interested at one point in working with snakes and other reptiles but that is a significant amount of education for the fact that there is extremely little employment there soooo… but a fun idea!

Something you’re good at:

I’m really good at small talk and first impressions/interviews to a degree people have described as somewhat freaky-unfortunately this means I set a really high expectation that I can’t necessarily live up to. My fiancées old roommate has joked that after a month of knowing me he started to be like “ohhhh you are human after all! Okay cool!”. I just have really good scripts for certain interactions lol.

Something you hate:

Things not going to plan/last minute changes. Also bell peppers and matcha.

Something you collect:

Anything mouse themed! Also trinkets in general, little figurines, royal doulton China, perfume, I’m a magpie with pretty things. Oh hello kitty things too! If hello kitty has 1000 fans I am one if hello kitty has 1 fan I am that fan etc…

Where I left my phone when I had it a minute ago and I haven’t left the house.

What’s your love language?:

It’s hard to say because of course they all play in but probably words of affirmation? I’m someone that needs a LOT of reassurance so it helps a lot with feeling loved, and I tend to be fairly heart on my sleeve about communicating it back. I think gifts is a big one for me too just because I’ve grown up being shown love through that rather than being told outright so it’s my learned way of recognizing/showing love-not so much fancy gifts as much as getting my fiancée nice coffee beans while I’m out or them bringing me home knickknacks from work, it’s just that you thought of them and wanted to brighten their day.

Favourite movie/show:

I have a lot but moonrise kingdom and aliens are probably my top favourite movies of all time, and my top shows are mash and iasip for comedies and hannibal and black sails for serious shows. Oh I also love over the garden wall ! Whatever that counts as!

Favourite food:

Anything lobster or homemade French onion soup if I’m being bougie, grilled cheese if we’re going comfort food.

Favourite animal:

So many but if I have to pick I will say. The humble mouse.

What were you like as a child:

Really quite strange if we’re being honest. I dressed in historical clothing and was really into the historical reenactment museum near me. Read quite a lot too! Much more than I do now. Generally had a lot of playing pretend and elaborate fantasy worlds and mythologies. I was obsessed with Japan and Egypt for a stretch as most children are, had a hamster named hamtaro, and had the devastating experience of trying sushi and not liking it. Funnily enough I love it now! But it was a big disappointment at the time. Oh I also was in a pretty formal children’s choir so that was a big chunk of my time.

Favourite subject at school:

Depended on the teacher! Probably English though-I would have liked art but I was locked in a four year conflict with my art teacher. I’m sure he hasn’t forgotten me.

Least favourite subject:

Gym. Wretched class.

What’s your best character trait?:

I think I’m relatively high in terms of empathy so I try to go out of my way for people if it’ll improve their day or make a big difference for them, or extend patience when people are difficult or unkind- it’s funny how if you go out of your way to be kind when someone is clearly picking a fight often they come back later to apologize and open up about something going on in their personal life and it really turned their day around that you helped them as much as you did, and that means a lot sometimes.

What’s your worst character trait?:

I’m one of the most sensitive people you’ll ever meet which is hard because I get so easily upset at everything. I think it would be a lot easier for me if I had a thicker skin but we are who we are so we make the best of it.

If you could change any detail of your life right now, what would it be?:

Honestly having a lot of money would solve like most possible problems lol

If you could travel in time, who would you like to meet?

On a personal close to me level, my grandfather on my fathers side just because I never met him but everything I learn about him is crazy. Genuinely fascinating life. Bigger historical figure, any of the Romanov children because I have weird historical fixations. And I do have questions about Rasputin.

robin loves loves LOVES to give nancy homemade gifts and wildflowers(as shown in the singular oneshot i made)

nancy loves it just as much, even tho she’s not a gift person

nancy gets super protective of robin mostly because of what happened to barb, fred and later max(and to some extent even eddie)

so she’ll almost always have robin by her side, and sometimes even has a hand flat on her arm or back when they’re walking somewhere

robin loves the attention and although she’s deathly afraid of being discovered, she can never say no to Nancy

When Nancy’s tired she’ll get super clingy and pouts whenever Robin isn’t next to her

Robin loves to take care of Nancy despite how independent she is, and the few times she gets to she feels like she’s been blessed by the universe

Along with the fact that they’re gay, and the fact that they’re somewhat private individuals, most of their dates are picnics in a secluded space or in the safety of one of their houses

Once when they couldn’t have their date night at either of their houses and it was raining outside they went to Steve’s to have a movie night

Horrible idea. They don’t hate Steve by any means, but he would not leave them alone and followed them around like a puppy, commenting about the movie, trying to squeeze himself between them on the couch, etc.

Safe to say they never did that again while Steve was home

Nancy has a really hard time with vulnerability and letting people in, she tends to isolate herself(felt)

So whenever she has a hard time, she’ll try to shut herself in her room and refuse to come out(and when she does, she doesn’t talk to anyone and makes zero expression)

Mike ofc, being the amazing annoying brother he is, notices, and calls Robin because as dense as he is, it’s quite clear to see that Robin and Nancy are all over each other

Robin is over within 15 minutes, breathing heavily from the ride on her bike, knocking at Nancy’s door

Nancy, thinking it’s her brother, stomps to the door and opens it with a scowl on her face, about to tell anyone off

But, as soon as she sees her lovely Robin and not her annoying brother, she instantly deflates with a pout

She can’t help it, the sight of Robin just forces her body to let everything out

So they spend the rest of the night cuddled together on Nancy’s bed, Robin wrapped around Nancy to provide a source of comfort and weight while she cries into Robin’s chest

also i just love the idea of nancy being obsessed with robins smell, whether its a perfume or just her natural scent. nancy loves to tuck into robins neck or chest and just breathe her in

Hello!

After a long time (read: approximately two weeks) of deliberation (read: procrastinating), I've made this blog. To contain anything whump-related and be able to be properly excited about the idea of torturing characters without filling my main with, well. Y'know.

On to the proper introduction: I am an adult (21+). I speak English as a second language and am not used to writing longer works on it, so you'll be much more likely to see me writing shorter snippets.

Aaand I'm adding a cut here, because oh god this got long.

For tropes I like/you may find in my writing/reblogs:

Multiple whumpees, specially with whumpee-turned-caretaker. Specially if they're not good at it.

Caretaker-less whump; hurt/no comfort; self-caretaking (if that is a trope at all). In a similar vein, carewhumpers. 10/10

Torture in general. A decade of it being a special interest has... Not paid off, but something similar.

Medical/lab-setting whump.

Supernatural/magic whump.

Any sort of deep meaningful platonic relationships in whump I am aro and starved of them in mainstream media.

Defiant/violent whumpees, strong and not.

I have very few squicks, to the point where I don't care to discuss them :P will comment on 'em if they ever come up. I can stomach most things.

I do not have a DNI: you can assume this blog is geared towards people older than 18, that there will be sensitive content, and act based on that. I try to add important trigger warnings to my work (blood, some kinds of violence, flashing and eyestrain if I'm posting something visual, any kind of bigotry), but I can't promise to tag for everything. Am always open to suggestions regarding what tags to add to one post, though.

I'm multiply disabled, autism included in that, and a lot of my characters share those aspects. As much as I don't mind discussing disability in whump, as it's a subject I care about, I will not be apologetic about depicting characters that represent this aspect of my personality, in any of the very common roles seen in this genre.

I tend to write mostly about my own characters. While most of the Deep Lore will not be necessary (and if it is I'll try to give a quick rundown), if y'all end up interested in finding out more about my homemade blorbos, you can find them in my art account under their own tags.

I don't think there's anything I'm missing, so this will do for an intro/pinned post. I hope.

hey besties how yall doin hope everyone is doing great guess who just discovered nerves are frickin hard as hell and is a micron away from breaking down in tears? i have no idea why do u ask

anyway without more further ado lol i want to talk about what it is im currently microwaving in my head (what arent i microwaving would be a better question). incoherence ahead so be warned lol:

the tldr is neoptolemus gets decked in the face by everyone. im breaking every vertebra he has and watching him writhe in agony as i sip my strawberry milk. its a great time

in all seriousness tho ive been rotating the concept of a darkfic in my mind for who knows how long atp and i saw neo and decided who better a blorbo to torture? like in my own words "i cant fix neo in a million years but i want to study him under a microscope and dissect his fucked up little head & bake him cookies".

the fic is essentially a character study of neo among other characters (the mc is an oc bc its her character study just as much as it is neos. they ae two sides of the smae ptsd coin and i want to explore that. like in heavy deeply disturbing detail lol) with sprinkles of fuckall lol

now as u may know i get distracted and sidetracked by just about everything so not even a quarter way through i was like okay spinoff fic. let me finish lmao;

andromache gets her revenge. thats all im going to say hehe just know its going to be great (if i can translate thoughts and ideas to words accurately and dont die miserably in the process. but other than that its going to be great) bc fuck neo i hate him i hope he dies a most painful death <3

AND THEN. while on a tangent of a tangent (i can no longer deny the allegations lmao) i was like okay crackfic concept apollo and his wrath are back on the menu. its hysterical idk waht to tell you if im going insane so is everyone else. also i love apollo legit my most faveourite in the pantheon (right next to hades lol) microwaving him got me back into writing and putting in a lil time & effort for ocs and what have you. anyway he will either feature in a seperate continuation or as part of the main storyline idk but it will be glorious.

you know what they say if u dont have homemade serotonin store bought is fine (blorbo torture was on sale who am i to resist?) lol yeah thats the gist of it. self indulgent angst & hurt/ next to nothing comfort

i think further down when i actullay start writing and things start to fall into place ill come back and write more individually about how i chose to characterise everyone and how i visualise their individual arcs, backstories & headcanons, alterations and calculations i made (consistent timeline who), and most probably a walkthrough of what i plan to do bc idk how much my writing delivers what i have in mind in terms of like everyhting lol so i think a guide would do everyone a favour bc im all over the place XD

🔥 perhaps a fic unpopular opinion?

an unpopular fic opinion, mmm. I mean, what sprung to mind was actually two unpopular opinions, but since they're rather easily divided between ao3 fic and tumblr fic, I'm going to give both as my answer.

So, my first one is a bit more digestible I think, and it's for ao3: I really think people should try to push themselves out of their comfort zones every now and then, and try reading more OC stories. This isn't just me like "man I wish people would read more of mine" either, it's that I have read a lot of really creative, passionate and well-written fics that are entirely about someone's homemade blorbo. Thousands upon thousands of words crafted lovingly around these universes, because someone had the wonderful idea to Just Make A Character.

Tangibly related, because I see it more often in genres like the humble OC and reader fic, I believe people should try reading different POVs. Third is wonderful, she's my best friend, but I also love what second and first can do for the setting and what we're being told, as well.

My really unpopular one is for tumblr, and it's that the "warnings" system has really begun to grate on me. I've come to the belief that tumblr isn't the best place for fanfic anyway (I lose gifs all the time to this website, like c'mon) but the way people use a "warning" section for what's clearly meant to be ao3 tags is extremely frustrating; and the attempts at inclusion with those 'warnings' often result in feeling particularly exclusionary to me (shout out to the fic I recently saw that seemed to imply, in a fictional fantasy, a broad and strong man can't possibly manhandle a person who is not skinny, or that one time I passed a fic where it had "canon character is disabled" in its warning section).

And more to the point, tumblr's lack of an actual organization system means that when authors refuse to properly tag 'warnings' for whatever reason (often citing the need to 'avoid spoilers') they run the risk of triggering people by carelessly not mentioning things like power imbalances, or even nearly outright non-con elements in their fanfiction (I believe a lot of these are attempting CNC, but y'know, don't mention that anywhere! so it comes off as noncon). Ao3 has "author chose not to add warnings" for a reason, among multiple other ways to properly categorize a fic; and while I do understand that not all authors are going to add all of these tags or anything to their fic, I think that fandom has lost its sense of etiquette and organization in more recent years, and that is a shame.

has the best hair? As a certified impossibly-pretty-hair-enjoyer, that's a difficult pick. I'm gonna say Corzian, whose hair is ridiculously long, wavy and looks perfect all times even though he spent his entire youth sick in bed and now adventures daily with little to no time spent on its care. Elven privilege.

uses/would use the most products? Definitely Crim, he enjoys the ritual of pampering his own body and will happily take an hour to indulgently and thoroughly apply oils and creams and powders.

frustrates you the most? Zaphir, hands down. He is emotionally stunted, in a permanent state of paranoia and old enough to be very stubborn about his beliefs, and I want his story to be about finding inner peace and comfort and genuine companionship... but his story is the story of BG3, which is not conductive to overcoming trust issues. Hhhhhhhh....

makes you smile the most? ALL MY BLORBOS MAKE ME SMILE A LOT But Solstice's overflowing love and kindness is kind of infectuous, and sometimes he is also just really really funny in the most wholesome ways.

is the happiest? I think that'd be Qursa, now that he's reunited with his brother. He is with his family and they're doing good for the galaxy, that's all he ever wanted.

is the saddest? *slaps Crim* this bad boy can fit so much grief in him. He lost everyone he ever loved, as well as himself, and has to worry about losing more every single day. (He'll get better eventually.) I also have a yet unnamed guy percolating in my skull-raisin who is hella unhappy.

is/would be the first to die in a Horror scenario? Yukiro. He's a good fighter and a good sneak, but he is also in bad health and is the kind of man who would tell his team to "Go, I'll hold them off".

has been with you the longest? Making OCs permeates my life, so it's a bit hard to tell sometimes, but I think if we assume AU versions of an OC to still be the same character, then the OC I have had the longest and who has gotten new thoughts added within this year is Meredith, my Saints Row Boss. OG Meredith is basically retired (in a satisfying way), but there is a New Saints Row version of him.

is your newest? Fully existing, that would be my SWTOR Inquisitor, Ru'lonn, who will drag the empire into a new age of alien power even if he has to do it at forcelightningpoint. Still in larval form is unnamed guy, who achieved immortality in the worst possible way.

has the best butt? According to reliable and professional sources, Zaphir. He has been a Monk all his life, he could probably kill a man with his buttcheeks.

is/would be the most likely to get caught committing a crime? Novel would a) absolutely commit a crime for the sake of his townspeople or his temple and b) be really bad at it and get himself caught immediately.

likes/would like animals the most? It's a toss-up between Novel, the Ranger who was saved as a baby by ravens and is never without his own bird friends and loves all of nature, and (surprise) Qursa, who discovered that he is an exceptional healer because he can feel the pain of other living beings by noticing and healing injured animals as a youngling, and who still deeply cares for them now (except certain bugs, bugs are freaky).

can/could cook the best? I have had to realise that nearly all of my OCs have cooking skills ranging from "eh" to "oh god please no". In the context of this unfortunate trend, only Yukiro stands out as someone who can make a decent meal from nearly any ingredient he has available at the time, and makes amazing inarizushi.

so little insanity moment i hope you'll excuse me a sec, related to Mystery Blorbo.

so yesterday i had a Icha Insanity Level 10 Moment where i kinda spiraled down crying and all about Mystery Blorbo literally all day that led me, as one does, to spam my bestie who knows about them 30 messages including at least 3 different homemade memes i've made about them, while i also collected various pictures again of Mystery Blorbo.

And, as a normal person does, i realized i could make a collage of the pictures i had in my files about them and put it on my wall.

so i start selecting which pictures i want to print in a word document (it takes 22 pages, i put multiple pictures by pages tho) and then look for my Blu-Tack (? google translation says it's how you say it the paste that fixes papers on wall) but i can't find it for the life of mine.

so i figure my masterplan has to wait, and ideally, while i go buy some Blu-Tack to a stationary store, i might as well use their printers to print pictures bc my own is bad with colors in general.

except as one does, it obviously haunts me all night, and i wake up uneased thinking i need to at least find the Blu-Tack today. Plus i need to do some restock on meds and grocery shopping anyway.

I prepare myself to go, and since my family just decided to annoy me today, i needed some comfort and i put my little custom made Mystery Blorbo plush in my bag to accompany me, but then i realize it's Sunday, and on top of that, a holiday, so the majority of stores are closed.

I figure my plans have to wait tomorrow. But for some reasons, i'm in full state of unrest. I can't focus on anything i just want to go hunt for it.

So i figure, screw it for the stationary shop, i can find some Blu-Tack on some hyperstore, and a couple of them are still opened today (ironically, not the one closest to my home that i would have gone to otherwise, so i have to look for an unusual store for it). So here starts my quest for it.

I blast my Mystery Blorbo's playlist in my ears (as i always do), and i go out full of Mystery Blorbo's thoughts in the quest of Blu-Tack so i can hang Mystery Blorbo's pictures in my living room.

First store i go to, where the Blu-Tack is next to cooking objects, they ran out of Blu-Tack. Shame.

I decide not to give up though and start going through more stores. 2nd Store i go, where the item is near the bathroom supplies? no luck either.

I think about going to a 3rd store at the opposite of the city, because one of the other bigger store i could go to is usually closed on Sunday. But, while i'm way underway, halfway between the store i disregarded and the store i was going to, i have a slight moment of "but i should check if it's REALLY closed though", and turns my feet around to check that store.

what i didn't consider is that today being a holiday where we usually consume a specific cake -- the store in question was actually opened. to sell emergency cakes.

When i go to this store, i usually go to the floor with food on it, so i never linger on parts of the store with utility objects, which is two floors above. but i know my way to it, and i move up.

And so i move to the Blu-Tack corner. Which is, unlike every place i've been before, in a corner with various hobbies related things surrounding the aisle.

and legit just next to it, there's an item i can't enter into details about --- related to Mystery Blorbo, that has no business being here, that i legit ALMOST BOUGHT ONLINE TWO WEEKS AGO. AND THEN I DIDNT. BECAUSE I THOUGHT HAVING IT DELIVERED HERE WOULD BE A PAIN. and also the one store i found it on wasn't really trustworthy.

literally JUST NEXT to the Blu-Tack. JUST next to it. Like ONE STEP away of distance from it. I could see it from standing in front of the Blu-Tack.

And i'm trying to keep it vague because the less you know about it the better for me (don't try to guess please), but it's not something i expected to find here. Like, it's not from something i'd expect to find easily in stores. And the item in question is also supposed to be pretty niche and only found in very specific stores, but this specific version was not on shelves last time i checked because it wasn't popular even in its niche.

I had a demented plan of making a collage of Mystery Blorbo, then had a nice so full of unrest i remade my whole plan, improvised because today everything is closed and nothing should have been doable, went to stores where i wouldn't have found the item that happened to have ran out of Blu-Tack, thought about going to a store THAT IS USUALLY CLOSED on Sunday and is only opened for the holiday, on an aisle i don't even usually come CLOSE to, to find the fucking Blu-Tack that started my journey, all that while blasting my Mystery Blorbo songs and holding my Mystery Blorbo plush in my bag, and it's at the end of this absolutely insane journey i found an item i've been CONVEYING that i was told wouldn't be found on here because it's too niche to be there, RIGHT. HERE.

Am i insane or is this insane. Like i remind you the whole thing with Mystery Blorbo is that they first started appearing in my dreams out of nowhere, haunting me, giving me legit fever dreams when i didn't buy something about them i found so much so i almost sleptwalk my way into going to buy it 4 TIMES in the same night, that i learnt they've showed up multiple times in the last decade of my life at various moments that made me curious in them but not enough to get into their stuff, that i had actual magazines full of articles that talked about him at my mom's place, hell pretty recently i also found times in my childhood (very early) where i almost got into something adjacent to it (my bestie says it counts because when i recalled the details she was crying laughing at how specific it was), also while i happen to own stuff related to the motif linked to this character from waayy before that, and much more things i can't even start to point out to lest i remove the mystery all together---

And then after another unrestful night thinking about them and making insane plans about them, which i was supposed to postpone but was too unrestful to postpone, i fucking find. This thing. in the most crazy level of circumstances there is.

also another layer is that i've been talking about the item to my bestie and was lamenting how more expensive it was online (esp with delivery fees) than in store, and my bestie, bless her soul, had had plans to find it for me ------- but she couldn't find it anywhere online. (like i tried to dissuade her but she's too sweet)

Small-Town Tales is my pet project. It's my baby and if anything happens to it i'll kill everyone in this room and then myself (reference). Jay is a barn owl avia (bird equivalent of a selkie) and arrives in town to the rudest greeting possible: getting mauled by wolves. After mauling the wolves back, he manages to fly his sopping wet bloodied self to the front door of the clinic before collapsing in the plaza, essentially on Doctor Harvey's front doorstep.

Cloak shenanigans ensue in the following chaos as Harvey saves Jay's life, bada bing bada boom you got an accidental marriage that nobody wanted. Jay manages to settle into Pelican town which, despite seeming like an idyllic little village, is actually a massive source of chaos for anyone living there. Other character arcs coming soon to a chapter near you.

Promise? Is my project on the back burners. Despite this, I love it just as much as STT - although it certainly won't end up anywhere near as long (pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease have mercy on me gods of writing and hyperfixations). Doctor Harvey finds himself down bad with hanahaki for the local aspiring author. Angst ensues - do not fear, for i am an absolute slut for the comfort part in hurt/comfort.

All of my writing on Ao3 requires an account to view because of the muskrat's data scraping. However, The Incident is linked in the pinned post on my sideblog. Pat&Pran (Bad Buddy): I could literally go on about them forever. I love them so much it's insane. Pran is my number 1 boy.

Fiat&Leo (Don't Say No): They're so sweet. One of the only shows where they start out dating. Fiat is my traumatized baby boy. I love him.

Akk&Theo (Enchante): You may have noticed I have a type by now. Best friends where one or both have been pining for years. I loved these two so much. The way Theo kept looking at Akk's lips pretty much the whole show.

FIRST SHIP

My first BL ship was AePete from Love By Chance. I debated putting this ship in the above section but I knew I'd put them here. I fell in love with Pete pretty much as soon as I saw him. The way he says "khab" is so cute. I love the way Ae takes care of him so sweetly and softly which is completely at odds with how rough he is with everyone else.

So, no one can deny I’m big on Found Family 😂 I just love the feeling of characters choosing each other, sticking together through it all. Time and time again going “I choose you. I want to be at your side.” That you and me feeling, y’know? Love it. Mwah. Chef kiss.

Another thing is inhuman characters. Or maybe “normal” characters should be more specific. Even in context I go to the WALL with what I’m given XD. I think the most normal I’ve gotten is Aloisa in Good Night New York, and she actually almost was a siren!! I had to stop myself to keep her a human being, in MARVEL. Shoot, look at my BNHA fics. All those Quirks, I still go with Witch or Ghoul or Fae.

Emotionally charged dialogue. I love me a good conversation between characters. Monologues too. 👀 Still proud over Blaze’s confession to Shalltear, even now haha. Oh! Descriptions too. I’m a sucker for just, digging in and trying to get all those details.

I mean, I’m good at interesting concepts? Like, all things considered, I love writing the non-walked path. I’m good at twisting things to try and work, or just not caring enough and having fun with it. Again, back to my jokes up there, who would go “Ok, Suspected Traitor Izuku but he’s taken by the Fae” and go for it? I did! I really did that!

I think I’m good at making characters too. I know people prefer Canon Blorbos to homemade, but I do believe I make some damn good Blorbos 😊 both in fandom stories and in original settings.

Overlord: Ainz, Shalltear, and Lupisregina! You’ve seen how I write Big Brother Ainz to Blaze, and aha ☺️ y’know my feelings on Shalltear. Lupisregina though is actually my fave out of the Battle Maids. I know it’s mostly an act, but she just seems so nice and the most ok with humans. She’s interesting!

Undertale: Sans and Papyrus. No matter the AU, I adore the skelebros. They’re so fun to write too!

My Hero Academia: Dabi and Tomura. I just. I got the hots for these two the most, even with that four-way crush I got going on(them, Hawks, and Overhaul). But what love bug I got bit by for these two is strong.

The Magnus Archives: Jon, Martin, Tim, and Sasha. The OG Archives crew 100% love them 😭

Sandman: Dream, Corinthian, Hob, and Death. Everyone in this show is Fucking Pretty but these four I just 💜💜💜💜💜 I am looking non-respectfully.

There’s plenty more fandoms, plenty more characters, but I got these darlings off the top of my head. Tbh, comfort character to me just means which characters I latch onto dearly. There can be tons in one fandom, or just one. I never truly decide, my heart does.

1. Fix-it fics. At this point I’m basically a fanfiction necromancer. Jack Daniels fell into a meat grinder? Horacio Carrillo got shot down by Pablo Escobar? Thorin Oakenshield was run through by Azog? Not on my watch.

2. Soft domesticity. Nothing better than letting a blorbo enjoy all the comforts of home and hearth in a cozy established relationship (bonus points if he’s Been Through It and really needs some homemade soup and a nap or ten).

3. Only one bed. I’ve actually only written it twice that I can remember but it’s on the short list of my top-tier, favorite tropes.

4. Friends to lovers. I just love the pining and the will-they-or-won’t-they tension and the foundation of friendship and affection that’s already there.

5. Love confessions. Whether whispered in a kiss or blurted out during an argument, I’m always a sucker for them.
