A FORGOTTEN SONG THAT'S VERY CLOSE TO ME Guys during 2022 time i was in a severe depression and my life felt very monotonous.. during that time i would read manga from youtube ( where the manga is shown in video format) in any case i was watching manga called " maidsama" and during that they would give us background music/ost... some of them were soooo good i downloaded them from youtube to mp3 and kept them on my phone... unfortunatley during 2023 my phone was dead forever and with that all those beautiful songs that made my life bearable that time were gone too... HOWEVER while searching for them a lot ( like a lot) i found some of them and their source.... ok so shortest route was actually inspired by this one scene in maidsama and i just. could NOT let it go and when i finally had the time to write it all out i loved it so much and i just really really like this one ok hehe

this one was like a love letter to ladynoir. i remember actually tearing up when i wrote this and i consider this where i peaked haha

#3: sentimental trickster // marichat, oneshot, angst

so i heard strange lands by niki and phum viphurit (title taken from 1:06) and i was just. GRIPPED with the urge to write it out and this happened. i can never top the quality of the angst here im in awe of past me

aaand whos surprised to see that ladynoir pops up once again? absolutely no one. anyways this was so much fun to write and i have the second part almost finished, i swear ill update soon guys

Shoujo manga adaptations

Oresama Teacher manga ended and still no anime adaptation in sight lol I am salty. If it was going to get one it would be during its run 🥲 Its my favorite reverse harem manga the other one was ohshc. Gekkan shoujo nozaki kun got one and its a 4 koma manga that started after her long form plot manga. (No hate love gsnk)💗

Idk what its about shoujo/romance manga not getting anime adaptations or even finishing the plot up from those stories but its pretty sizeable.🙄

Ouran highschool host club ( 1 season 83 chp )

Skip beat (1 season has 250+ chp)

Gakuen Alice

Yona of the dawn (1 season 80+)

Tsubaki lonely planet (76 chapters)(mangaka still making another series with that length Hirunaka no Ryuusei)

Dengeki daisy(75 chp)

Maidsama ( 1 season 88 chp)

There's alot more but you get my point regardless of quality I think if a manga can last 70 to 80 chp in the industry there should be more adaptations or at least some more recognition in other works. At most drama cd are all you get. With the exception of ohshc n skip beat got live action adaptations.

Whats so agreggous to me is that roughly

Oresama teacher is 12 to 13 years old with 150 + chapters and its plot is very suitable for general audiences. Even people who don't like romance can get into the plot because it doesn't emphasize love so much as it does comradery and friendship. There's action scenes and mysterious crap going on all happening in a light hearted manner.

Skip beat is probably one of the longest ongoing shojou manga right now with 15 years ongoing. Despite that being way too long for a love story there are arcs just like any other shounen and its crazy how it only ever got one season.

I'm focusing alot on shoujo manga might be an industry problem i would do more research but just really sad that all these manga won't get attention cuz they weren't adapted. I can't tell u the number of times I've read a manga cuz of an anime. I have hope though horimiya finally got an anime adaptation and I'm just living for it!

Funny when Kaichou wo Maidsama came out, everyone joked "Ichigo and Rukia got their own series?"😂 What's really funny about all the series that were clearly some 2000s manga editors telling their mangaka to emulate Bleach, was how they interpreted Ichigo's "cool". Like they all agreed that Ichigo was defined by cool, but all had different ideas of what "cool" is. Or they just went the Soul Eater route and just have their Ichigo stand in say "cool" a lot. Lol
