atp i genuinely doooon’t care if the old guard two is the worst thing put to film i just want to see the best character of all time (andromache the scythian) and her loser henchmen and everyone’s favorite girl nile freeman again
It is kinda funny seeing people talk about Seungmin lately because he definitely has gotten more bold and confident for sure. He's also just getting opportunities to be perceived as an individual on his own as well for the first time in a while but it's still jarring to see people be like Aw he was always such a quiet goodie two shoes little nerd and it's like...... he was the one to leave and seek out his own vocal coach and blatantly talk about it, which of course lead to I.N and Lee Know also doing the same, he was the one to go on bubble and tell off sasaengs who used to camp outside their old dorm for invading members privacy but also because it effected other residents and staff at the complex, something that i'm certain upper management wouldnt have been happy about, and he wasn't curt or nice about it either. like he's never actually been a wallflower, he's always had a pretty strong backbone and seems to stick to his principals, its not really new.
goooood morning trolls fandom!!!!!! ive been hyperfixated on the movies (+ shows) lately so yall can have some silly ms paint + whiteboard drawings ive done of the little dudes
Endlessly tickled by the idea of Akira being a good shot but a shit gamer. I like to think its cause hes got incredible hand eye coordination and super steady ‘surgeon’ hands; hes very good with precise movements, but panics when he has to do brain melting inputs. His brain can keep up but its hard to make his hands follow suit. Its why u can have him be dogshit at arcade cabinets; panicking with the little joystick and button mashing like mad, while having him be a beast at things like darts and billiards.
The only arcade games he can play is house of the dead-esque shooting games (hes literally at the top of the leaderboards for MILES and he draws crowds whenever he plays) and DDR cabinets (hes just very light on his feet)(NOT to be confused with stepmania; he would die if he had to do arrow inputs with his HAND). Its kinda fun to watch him fumble with the other silly gimmick cabinets, but its more entertaining to watch him do what hes good at. If u take him to play darts, and if the darts are super cheap, he will absolutely try his best to split them down the middle each time. Doesnt always work, but its insane to know that he lands the bullseye literally 100% of the time.
thinking about how there is this issue with media "consumption" today where people cannot accept vagueness or unexplained story points. even if those are entirely intentional. the moment something isn't clear it's "we need a sequel or creator statement to address XY because it was never explained"
rereading fablehaven is actually so sad rn bc like fuck im not eleven anymore wtf? i keep reading expecting to relate to kendra and seth like i used to but i just dont? like i can still feel the beating heart of love i have for this story underneath but its like different now. like this fun story is deeply sad to me now like what???
these kids joined the magical world and in doing so had to sever every connection they have to the outside world from before. they only have friends their age for like a ch of book 2, and after that they basically have no peer group. how awful is that for a couple of kids?
and they dont get to be kids anymore. seth’s mischief gathers consequences until he seems to lose it in the latter half of dragonwatch. kendra gains self confidence in some ways but then also becomes more and more burdened with responsibilities she didnt ask for and shouldnt have at the ripe age of 13-16.
like i dont even know
i might be projecting here and its def not this deep but i desperately need these bitches to re-enter the public school system and make some fucking friends their own age. please. magical or non-magical.
Now, we all know Knives picked up Legato on a whim. But his expression upon seeing the utter emptiness in Legato's eyes makes it irrefutable that there was some other reasoning behind why he decided to listen to that whim.
Legato was likely the first human who did not respond with fear or hate to Knives threatening their life. Instead, Legato looks at him with gratefulness. A silent "thank you, for freeing me from my suffering."
Knives did not spare his life out of pity. Pity is not the right word for it. It was a whim, yes, but that whim stemmed from whatever emotion Knives felt upon seeing that expression.
He saw that Legato was a lot like the plants he was trying so desperately to save— abused by the humans to the point where his life prior to be meeting Knives cannot even be called a life. Perhaps, even though Legato was a human, he did not see a human in that moment. He did not see the cruel beings he despised so vehemently. He saw a pitiful, vulnerable, creature. He saw something that resembled what he wanted to save.
