In AD 1823, on the 21st of September, in the village of Palmyra, New York, JOSEPH SMITH was visited by the angel MORONI. To him, they revealed the GOLDEN PLATES: an account of the NEPHI written by MORMON. And it came to pass the Church of Latter Day Saints were formed....

REI AYANAMI, the daughter of LILITH, the PROGENITOR of all life on Earth, upon reception of an INCUBATOR NUCLEUS, had relieved this moment from the eyes of MORONI. They were not an angel, but an INCUBATOR, albeit a type that NERV had not yet encountered.

With her partner, ASUKA LANGLEY SORYU, they would make their way to the provisional capital of Japan, TOKYO-2, in search of more information....

How do the Fakelings feel about tasty rats? (Other than Goudino, we know she likes eating them a lot 😊)

similarly to their Papa, most of the Fakelings are pretty big fans of tasty delicious rats ✨

the only one out of them who very rarely hunts for them is Pisceno, living underwater means that rats aren't exactly common. but, if they ever travel onto land and encounter such rodents, they may be inclined to have a little treat!

besides Goudino though, the two that run into and prey on rats most often are Poultrino and Trashino! Trashino, because rats are very often found scurrying through garbage, they aren't as delicious to them as raccoons are but they're still a good meal! and Poultrino loves rats too, gotta keep her restaurant pest-free after all! (and, have you ever seen chickens hunting rats and mice before? brutal little dinosaurs, they are...)

Scarian is the classic <3 ive only written them once for a friend and it took me… months… got stuck on one scene and avoided it for ages (and then got into taurtis x grian but that’s another story)

Cub and Scar being brotherly and inseparable is soo <3333 everything to me. Have you read “closer to another shore”? Oh my god. Changed my life. And scar and Cub within that book… absolute peak. Devoured it twice over and once more on top of that. Very much recommend if you want to tear your own heart out and crush grian like a bug!

I have this whole scale AU for Scarian that I'll write one day. it's bound to be my hardst work yet (yeah including the historial research and mapping nightmare that is Dealing Despair), because Splinter is one of those fics you have to plan every single scene out to make it all come together in the end.

My goal with Splinter) whenever I get around to writing it, it is to have like a fraction of coolness Birrdie's as above, so below has?? It's still one of my favorite fics of all time and I strive to write an AU like that one day. Splinter isnt the same thing? it's like a past life kind of thing, but the part im trying to emulate from aasb is the "oh something is happening here...I am scared of it" vibe.

Eitherway, if you want a good Grian fic (with some Scarian) THATS the fic. This is the fic I give to all my friends new to the fandom/to fanfiction. I shove aasb and Dirges in the Dark at them because those are the two fanfics I want on my shelf YESTERDAY. Like physical copies. (I am working on that actually....)

I gotta be honest, I know Skylar was born to be a Superhero™️ and everything so she's very much into the mature and Responsible actions most of the time bc she was literally raised from birth like that.....

But she's also from a planet where powers are just A Normal Thing You're Born With (and mostly hung around other superheroes when she left, most who also had powers), so I'm sorry I just don't buy her thinking they are a "special gift you shouldn't use outside of saving people".

If they're a normalized thing in your society then it's perfectly normal to also just?? use a power that makes something easier?

Like some heroes "powers" are just "they are aliens with different anatomy that gives them advantages over humans", that's not really a "power", it's just who they are. Can't expect them to not use that anatomy outside of heroing.

And I feel like if on your planet, your people have an inate ability to harness energy, or manipulate matter, that just comes from existing on that planet or growing up in your society.... it's the same thing.

So from her perspective I don't get why she would take that stance of "they're a gift, don't use them like that".

I've just gotten used to it. Still hate it though.

so for the longest time i've had this idea for a soulmate au that idk if it's a thing, but rather than someone's first words bc as a demiromantic being i could never, you have the most important words someone will say to you tattooed on you. and you can have more than one and there's no indicator of what kinda relationship it's going to be, you can freely choose that, it's just sorta something that says "the person that says this to you? yeah, they're a keeper"

It's something I've seen floating around - the Fevrith archive has entries about every bestral tribe, like the rat tribe, and yet we don't see any rats around, no NPCs, no playable character or enemy characters...

And yet, we see bunnies selling objects, but there's no entry for the "bunny" tribe ? There's an entry for the Goats who are in charge of the taverns, but nothing for the bunnies?

And we have one for the rats, but we don't see any? Mmh...

Granted, it's a crack theory lol, because Eligor mentions how his rat pals didn't survive Baltro's experiments, so we're left to believe he is the last rat... And yet, given how Morard is similarly hailed as the "last lion" even if in some of his endings iirc he manages to locate other members of the lion tribe, maybe there are other rat bestrals around?

"and then ended up cosmically separated; luz lost her fucking mind for years trying to get back to him" - got stuck with a similiar idea I won't ever make a fic out, but it starts with him saying "That can still be arranged" after that overly dramatic entrance, only to then immediately use the staff to stop the human that is rushing at him (Luz tearing up and sprinting for a hug), becuase she is an enemy BUT ALSO because his armour is scalding hot and he subconsciously wants to protect her.

MMMMMMMM. this is a slightly different premise from the dream but i've been thinking about writing hunter memory loss fic for ages.... there's this art of belos removing & burning hunter's memories of flapjack and luz and the emerald entrails that. Sticks With Me.

the thing that really gets me abt that kind of fic is when the body and the subconscious remembers but the consciousness doesn't.... hunter like i don't know you and you're telling me we're family and i know you're lying bc i Don't Know You but i want So Bad to trust you and part of me is So Sure i can trust you... what gives

there's something So Deeply Compelling about the concept of luz """betraying eda""" and """joining the emperor's coven""" because hunter will only trust her if she's another soldier....

Thinking more abt DR1. The tragedy of the DR1 characters has a unique strength to me, precisely because we know that absent of Junko's Mutual Killing, they all eventually end up getting along pretty decently! Probably one of the most relevant examples for my muse is Makoto's relationship with Maizono-- in settings without the Mutual Killing such as Development Mode and Talent Development Plan, their interactions are nothing but friendly, supportive, and even sometimes a little intimate. It's not difficult to infer that during the single regular year at Hope's Peak, they got along just as well or were moving towards that. And all of that just makes what happens during the main game to the whole cast, not just Makoto and Maizono, even more of a bitter pill to swallow since along with their memories Junko stole even intangible things like relationships. Another example of this is Oowada and Fujisaki: that picture Monokuma (Junko) "dropped" really says it all...

the wildcard. musical genius. intelligence level correlate to what the episode needs. neglected and abused but refuse to accept it even happens to him by escaping into substance abuse and passivity. surrounded w/ filth, death and decay.

-mac : maid of hope (derse)

his faith in religion and hope that his parents care about him in some way allows him to survive to adulthood but it also sets him back as a person because he was blinded by his own convictions and internalized homophobia. he's also gullible.

-frank : thief of space (prospit)

the sleazy businessman who fund the gang's schemes. inadvertently stuns the twins capability for personal growth and chance to have a new beginning outside of their dysfunctional upbringing by being an absent parent but coming back to them when theyre adults. struggles with feelings of stagnation and unfulfillment. egg motifs.
