at a certain point, someone's bigotry towards trans people becomes some kind of science denialism where they have to pretend trans people aren't real for their idea of the world to work. like, have a gander at this infographic
Tumblr media
Beyond having no idea who the target audience of this infographic is (this reads as a bit too toony and colorful for the more serious sex ed tone of high school biology classes but is far too textually dense and visually noisy and cluttered for younger kids, so really it just feels like it's made or adults to pass around and nod along to work that tells them exactly what they already believe) It's also full of blatant medical misinformation, and states facts in a way that feels completely angry and bitter towards anyone who believes anything else. Like, no, transphobic lion gender infographic. Men CAN lectate even without any hormonal treatments or being trans. I've seen it personally.
It's also interesting to me how it explains sexuality (among other things) as being these incredibly rigid and inflexible categories. Like oh really, asexuals can't have sex? We can't go into nuances of sexual desire, sexual attraction, sexual pleasure and social expectations to perform sex. Like if you're ace and you did sex and weren't enthusiastic about it and never tried it again i guess you're not ace. The harry potter houses model of sexuality: you are one thing, you fit into this one thing, it prescribes how you're supposed to act instead of using it to describe how you actually exist.
This rigidity also becomes obvious when it talks about intersex people as being these exceptions to the rule that don't have to be counted for how gender and sexuality works. And of course, we have to force intersex people into these binary categories instead of, you know, letting them decide for themselves? And of course it ignores any kind of intersex person with any kind of features that can't be written off as an anomaly and an aberration from the norm. Here we start doing science denialism. Here we start pretending certain people's body features aren't worth discussing for the sake of public knowledge. They're only worth bringing up as anomalies, and not as like, people.
I can't fucking get over how jarring the whole image is actually. Like, the really cheerful cartoon furry lions next to this piece of text prescribing the rigidity of existence. Yeah baby, I love being a strong cool lion boy, I love being told everything I'm not allowed to do or be for the sanctity of my gender!
Tumblr media
yeah roar!!!
Here's a little section i wanna do more of a deep dive on
Tumblr media
Women have two eggs?? what??? the egg-shapd things in the uterus are not the eggs!!!!! what the fuck are you talking about
This particular part stands out to me. Like, obviously the purpose of this infographic is not to tell you how bodies work, but to insist that there's a correct and an incorrect way for bodies to work, and that people outside of what it describes do not exist. It's obvious because it won't even show you what a uterus, what a vagina, or what boobs usually look like, like any decent diagram whose purpose is science education would. It's obvious because it straight up lies to you about how periods work, and tells you that having a period is somehow intrinsically tied to being a woman.
Like, no. Obviously. Trans can men experience menstruation at any point in transition, and trans women can experience other common parts of periods if they've been on hrt for long enough. Periods are not some kind of woman exclusive thing, it's not purely reliant on having a uterus or having certain hormones. It's not gender dependent. It depends on multiple features of one's body. It's a very basic fact of transition, hormones change how your biology works no matter what features you have. To imply none of this is true is denying very very basic facts about how a lot of people's bodies work, simply based on some insistence that those people aren't real and if we simply look away we can all pretend trans women aren't real. It's digging your head in the sand, it's having lived looking at the shadows on the wall your whole life, being told something new, and going right back into your cave and angrily shouting at everyone that the shadows are real, the shadows are ALL that is real, and though I may have glimpsed things that lie outside of it, those things aren't real because I personally can safely ignore facts about how the world works and go about my day.

Thank you.
I felt like I needed to say that. Thank you.
Rebecca sugar's TV show, Steven Universe, turned 10 years old today. This show had such an impact on me as a kid, mostly because it inspired me to explore art and show creating. Among others like Coryxkenshin, I was inspired to create. Whether I wanted to be a voice actress or an artist, these people helped me through dark times, and now I'm here, working on my own show with the help of amazing friends.
Speaking of friends, I'd like to thank all of my tumblr friends for their support through my art and tumblr journey. I know I couldn't deliver what started my blog, but I felt like things happened for a reason, and I'm doing really well right now. Shout out to my first tumblr followers @toonycatuwu and @mimitsurugi for being the first to support my tumblr journey. Mimi has been inactive for over a year, but if you're seeing this, Mimi, thank you, and I hope your doing well. Toony was my first FIRST follower, so I really appreciate being friends with you the most. We don't talk a lot, but I'm glad to have you as a tumblr friend. And my other tumblrina's as well, @melodythebunny, @not-a-vegan3 and @benanazauce, who came later but were still incredibly important to me and my journey on this platform. For those I left out, I thank you as well.
One last thanks: Rebecca Sugar and Coryxkenshin. Thank you for inspiring me. Thank you Rebecca for inspiring my art journey, and helping me with motivation and hard times. Thank you Cory for being an awesome dude and stopping me from crying multiple times. Thank you everyone. I love you all!!!!!

Happy ramble from me: I'm a crash bandicoot fan of many years! Around when I was 5 years old my dad would play the original games with me before I went to bed. He would also play his guitar for me and I would jump around on the bed and dance. As I grew up we kept playing it sometimes. My dad also taught me to appreciate how brilliant the music is in the game and the charm of the visuals. I used to pretend to be crash and run around and jump and climb things in my backyard haha. And I've loved it so deeply ever since now that I'm an adult. It makes me think about the warm and cozy parts of life. The original games are really precious to me and I even think they contributed to some of my personality. I love adventure and I love exploring the world!! I love temples... I love forests... I feel like a relative to crash bandicoot lol. I'm goofy and toony too...we'd get on well. I love islands and the beach...and even in the 3rd game crash rides a motorcycle and I love motorcycles...I'm a BIG daredevil adventure type guy and that's definitely what crash himself is all about. I would be delighted to hear more of your own crash bandicoot rambles anytime. I also never thought about N.Gins design in the way you've explained until now. I never noticed that it reflects a a big missile impact of trauma and different sides to himself and I can now see it very clearly. I also have had trauma in my life as I got older and I'm trying to heal from a different side of myself that is deeply deeply hurt. So yeah I'm connecting to what you said very strongly. Lots of love <3 I hope you enjoyed hearing my joy for the games
I can't understate how beautiful that is, you may as well be truly related to crash bandicoot. I enjoy your warmer and nostalgic perspective on it! My dad also introduced me to crash as a little kid and played with me, specifically crash bash, and I'd look at the other games on YouTube and treat him as my OC !! I used to want to make a cartoon called Crash and Yoshi... I'm pleased to hear the atmosphere of those games also left an impression on you, besides the charm of it being based on old toons, the limitations of the PlayStation + the unique Vertex animation + lushness around the hallway type of level design + music all culminates in a surreal little world that shows you just enough of itself that your brain can latch on and go so crazy imagining the rest. I didn't grow up with the original three games but I did grow up with crash bash, and I'd have dreams where I'd go out of bounds and discover more levels. And Bash isn't even considered one of the bests!! The way you describe your love of exploring coming from crash bandicoot makes me want to reframe the way I interact with the world oh man. We could all use a little more Crash Bandicoot bravery in our hearts. Thank you for sharing, I smiled big and hope you are too

WRITING A COHERENT REVIEW OF SKINAMARINK IS HARD.
Song of the day: “Jack-o’-Lantern-Man” by the Bravery.
Tomorrow’s my birthday. I’m going out to get vaxxed, then get brunch and dinner. I’m slowly redecorating my room, so I got some posters but won’t unwrap them until tomorrow. Also bought more winter clothes. Wearing black jeans rn. The first jeans I’ve worn in years. I don’t usually like wearing pants lol.
Finally saw Skinamarink. Expectations were met. It blew me away. Like, an entire essay could be written on why I liked it so much. Watch it if you value aesthetics over plot in film. I do.
At least when it comes to horror movies. I tend to watch horror and read (murder) mystery. Not so much the other way around. Whereas mysteries are plot-driven, horror media can either rely on plot or visuals/descriptions and be enthralling.
One problem I have with a lot of films is their cinematography. It often seems to take a backseat to plot, dialogue, and score/soundtrack. Which is why I love aestheticism. Well, that and symbolism. Deeper meanings are great, too.
I adore all the fan theories Skinamarinkers (?) are coming up with. Normally, “he’s in a coma” fanons bore me. But the dad said Kevin bumped his head, then the rest of Skinamarink is basically a hundred minutes of nursery nightmares. Faces aren’t shown properly.
MAKE SURE TO WATCH WITH SUBTITLES. (Unfortunately, the director’s commentary doesn’t have those.) AND THE SHORT PROOF OF CONCEPT HECK BEFOREHAND. It’s on YouTube. If you like it, you’ll like Skinamarink. Also, it unnerved me a bit more.
Skinamarink made me feel so many things. Excitement. Nostalgia. Sympathy. Nostalgia. Fear. Well, mostly just fear when the phone got those toony eyes. There are a couple jump scares, but the movie’s more about slowly mounting dread. Plus making viewers pity the protagonists.
I feel like I’m super biased towards Skinamarink because it taps into my nostalgia. The amount of media it makes me want to reminisce about... All those “child(ren) up against a bogeyman” stories.
Those parallels between the classic cartoons and what the Voice in the Dark does to Kaylee and Kevin. The same Fisher-Price toy phone we had. Classic cartoons that were on either VHS or LaserDisc, watched in our snug basement. “The Cobweb Hotel” creeped me out so badly as a kid. At least I had my great-grandmother’s elephant figurines to watch over me. Dad’s cuckoo clock, too.
The commentary mentions there are some anachronisms, like with the toys. Skinamarink takes place in 1995, but has that orange LEGO brick separator from 2011. Which just makes it more personally relatable to me.
My family’s always been practical, using things until they break. I have a DVD player that’ll turn twenty next year. So it wouldn’t surprise me if someone else has the VHS player somewhere. The only movies I remember watching on LaserDisc were The Wizard of Oz and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But Oz is one of my all time faves and got watched a LOT. We had a bunch of obsolete or antique things and new things.
Going back to the toy phone… There was a Bruce Coville Magic Shop book that had a witch call the protagonist and her little brother on one. Jennifer Murdley’s Toad? And I’ve seen creepy art of Fisher-Price phones before.
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: ED IS WRONG. CANADIANS NEED TO GET WEIRDER. I hope Skinamarink inspires people to make more weirdass movies.

Scars of Sailor Moon 90's anime: What if
To be clear, it’s been a while since I’ve seen it and that was when they were dubbed and cut for English speaking kids’ daytime TV so shit might be missing, because the episode wasn’t aired, or remembered wrong because it wasn’t ‘appropriate’ for kids and thus cut in a way to make it 'appropriate'.
Now, is there anyone else who wonders what physical scars the Senshi, Tux and episodic victims might have if magical healing weren't involved? Does anyone else wonder if there might be various civilian group gatherings to show support not only for the Senshi themselves but for those who got attacked and subsequently saved? How they know it's all legit due to the similar scars, because some of them were attacked in a different way for the same thing (the Daimons vs Eudial's gun in S; The Amazon Trio vs The Amazoness Quartet in SS; Regular vs True Starseeds in Stars) and it shows on the people who were brave enough to show off what the baddie of the season had left behind on their bodies. Do the Heroes know about them or not? How would their various scars differ from all the regular victims due to various factors?
Read more to find out my ideas on how they'd look.
For 1st S: the girls and M have port-wine stains from the SilMil of their death wounds. Don't think Jed could've left scars with how he gathered energy but Neph could've left marks on his victims since they personally handled his cursed items. Those transformed by Zoi and Kun might have trace characteristics of their monster forms; and the Black Homing Crystal or their personal Nijizuishou could be tattooed on their body, or a tattoo or scarred outline (bald-spot/different colored fur for Rhett Butler (the cat)) of their 'Great Demon' that is believed they were just born with like port-wine stains because of the 'reset' in the finale, to differentiate between Zoi's and Kun's victims.
In R 1st half, girls and M have extra port-wine stains that look like actual scars but realize they're what they died to, wounds she died with (black where the rose vines restrained her and lichtenburg figures all over and outlining a hand on her throat) in Usa's case, when they remember. And leafed vine patterns on those grabbed by Cardians but Usa's and Mamo's are colored blue and pink respectively since they were drained personally by the reluctant Makai Tree. In R 2nd half, well they were mostly trying to take over locations more than gather energy so... maybe... Black Crystallized skin for those who were actually touched? Or nothing other than mental scars, due to the nature of their origin, and thus a simple outline of the Black Moon on the back of their necks? Dunno. ChibiUsa, at least, could have stretch marks due to being unnaturally aged by Wiseman.
In S, it's the shape of the Pure Heart Crystal literally over their heart where it came out, not the center of the chest as is seen in the anime. So, in the event one of the victims had that rare condition where their heart/organs are reversed that's where it can be seen. And if it came out the back, like what happened with Ami, then that's where it is. One can tell how one 'lost' their Pure Heart, whether it was a Daimon or the Gun, due to the size of the scar. If Daimon then it's the size of a Toonie coin but from the Gun it's the size of a closed fist. Minako's looks doubled because she handled her own Pure Heart and did so manically before collapsing. Haruka and Michiru could either have outlines of their Treasures surrounding their Pure Hearts or it's a detailed scar of their Treasures, no Pure Heart to be seen. Chibi's has a shadowy hand-print surrounding hers due to Mistress9 personally taking it while the scar itself looks gold due to Mamo acting as her life support while it was gone. Usa's looks prismatic, like it's literally embedded in her chest when it's not, due to her Pure Heart being exposed thrice, when the extraction was interrupted, when it succeeded and when she forced it out to save Hotaru.
In SS, the Dream Mirror scar is two closed hand spans across in width and fingertip to heel in height. It's the border of the Mirror and the extra scars that go with them that one can tell whether one was attacked during the Trio's time or the Quartet's. Stylized borders and 'shackles' around the wrists and ankles (blue waves for Fish, red flames for Tiger, gray tornadoes for Hawk) denote which of the Trio attacked while solid colored borders and the colored Stone (yellow for Cere, blue for Palla, green for Jun, red for Ves) on the opposite side of the Mirror scar denote which of the Quartet. Usa's is different in that black Aces make up her Mirror's border and 'shackles' due to Mr. Magic Pierrot being the one to 'attack' her. Not to mention the black lines betraying how it had been shattered and the unknown, probably never to be discovered, damage to her brain/memories/personality due to said shattering, what with dreams being products of our brains and all. Because I'm of the opinion that if one's heart can stop due to your Pure Heart being taken then one can become brain dead if your Dream Mirror is shattered. Why else would Fish be so devastated, because dreams can change and evolve or disappear when or if they are fulfilled, when her Mirror is destroyed? Chibi's Mirror is different in that her border is black but the surface itself is a shiny gold instead of everyone else's silver while the 'stone' looks like Zirconia's winged eye. Mamo's eye, the one Nehelania's piece of Mirror pierced, could be bordered by a gold ring if not making him hetero-chromatic in turning the blue itself gold. Usa could have scars on her legs, soles of her feet, due to traveling through/over vines on her way to rescue her family.
As for Stars, those who didn't have True Starseeds could have a 'tattoo' of that flower that contains said Starseeds at the border of their hairline on their forehead. Only the part that hovered there, not the full thing. And those who did have True Starseeds, that hunk of hair that the flower hovered over has taken on the color of said Starseed and is resistant to dyes or regrowing back the original hair color. Some of the women, and poor Mamo, has to weather the comments on their weird choice of color fad since... well, gold on raven, navy blue on blonde, green on brunette and red on ravenette seems... weird, right? Color your whole head, or at least in a Peek-a-boo style, if you're gonna be dying it such a different color at all, jeez! At least for the others they're close, or complimentary, to their original color, if still weird it's only that space of hair that's been colored a bit differently.

Something I did recently was watch almost all the major Muppet TV series, movies and specials, starting from The Muppet Show and all the way up to the NBC era, ending with The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz, right before Disney purchased them.
So basically I finally watched every episode of The Muppet Show, The Muppets Go to the Movies (which is essentially a lost episode of The Muppet Show), The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show, the first three seasons of Muppet Babies, Little Muppet Monsters, The Jim Henson Hour, The Muppets at Walt Disney World, Muppets Tonight, Kermit's Swamp Years, and a bunch of other things.
The reason I did this is that I was actually woefully deprived of all things Muppets when I was a kid and for most of my teenage years (although I watched Sesame Street regularly when I was little).
I had the Vincent Price and Alice Cooper episodes, Muppet Classic Theater, Muppet Treasure Island, and Muppets from Space on VHS, but that was pretty much it. I’m embarrassed to admit that I didn’t actually watch any other episodes of The Muppet Show when I was a kid. I’m sure I would have if I had been aware that it was airing on Nickelodeon at the time.
(Instead I read The Muppet Show Book before I watched the episodes they were based on. Bizarre, I know.)
So I had these brief glimpses and vague impressions of the characters and the timeline, but I really wanted to know what I had been missing this whole time.
Something that was particularly interesting was how many nearly forgotten TV specials they did in the ‘80s, in between making movies. It seems to me this is the most overlooked period of the Muppet timeline, despite how iconic the movies are.
The main revelation was there were various characters that were either less or more important than I thought they were:
First of all, Rizzo (one of my favorite characters) wasn’t all that much of a main character during Jim Henson’s lifetime. He was a minor character in the last two seasons of The Muppet Show, stole a scene in Muppets Take Manhattan, but he really didn’t become a main character until The Muppet Christmas Carol, when his chemistry with Gonzo first became apparent, lasting throughout the rest of the decade.
Their relationship is something I really miss, ever since Steve Whitmire left. They seem to be trying to force Pepe into the same role, and it just doesn’t work.
I wasn’t aware that Bean Bunny first debuted in The Tale of the Bunny Picnic. Based on his fairly prominent role in Muppet Vision 3D, I thought he was used way more often.
I also got the impression that Waldo C. Graphic made his debut in Muppet Vision 3D. It’s weird to me that he’s a lot less wacky and toony in The Jim Henson Hour.
As I’ve said before in other blogs, I wasn’t aware that Pepe debuted in Muppets Tonight and Clifford debuted in The Jim Henson Hour. Very few new characters survived those shows, and it always puzzled me that they were the ones that were ever used again. One day I was watching Muppets from Space and I thought “Who the heck are these characters?” and went on to be even more confused when Pepe refused to go away.
All in all, it’s nice to finally have the whole picture.

So. I didn't grow up watching much TV, because my parents canceled our cable when I was around 3 years old. But I'm gonna list off some of the shows I remember watching before and after then. This might get rambly. Idk. There were definitely not all on the same channel.
Batman: The Animated Series (and to a lesser extent its Superman and Justice League counterparts)
Dexter's Lab (there's DOOM and GLOOM while THINGS GO BOOOOM.... IN DECTER'S LAAAB!)
The Powerpuff Girls (Bubbles was my favorite)
Cow & Chicken (they were siblings)
Catdog (alone in the world is a little catdoooooog)
Courage the Cowardly Dog (I remember not watching this very often?)
Looney Toons and Tiny Toons (they're tiny! they're toony! they're all a little loony!)
Scooby-Doo (several different series? I remember the classic, one with Scrappy instead of Fred and Velma, and one where the whole gang was small children)
Animaniacs (BRING THIS BACK)
I M Weasel (and I R Baboon!)
Johnny Bravo (only vaguely remember this, but I remember the crossover with Scooby-Doo best)
Rugrats (I remember no details but I did watch the show before the movie)
Hey, Arnold (wasn't such a fan of this one)
Arthur (watched this one less and it might have been broadcast instead of cable)
Ed, Edd, and Eddy (barely, it was a latecomer and didnt appeal to me)
Sailor Moon (nearly forgot this one, tiny me loved it)
There was also Captain Planet, but I only remember watching that on a VHS we had, not on TV.
Shows like Recess and Dora the Explorer came a little later, after my family lost cable - I remember only seeing them when we went to a hotel or a friend's house or a relatives beach house. SpongeBob, too, I think I managed to miss out on that one pretty much entirely.
After that, on broadcast TV, here are some shows I remember-
Teletubbies (it was babyish even for me but I think I liked the shows on either side of it so I had to tolerate it)
Sagwa
Dragon Tales
Jackie Chan Adventures
Pokemon
Clifford the Big Red Dog (I think I remember this one?)
Zaboomafoo (not a cartoon, was the second-to-last show of the Saturday morning programming for kids)
Zoom (not a cartoon, was the last show of the Saturday morning programming for kids)
I stopped watching TV nearly entirely before some of the really awesome ones came out - you know, Teen Titans, Danny Phantom, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Those mightve been cable so I wouldn't be seeing them anyway. I think Danny Phantom definitely was, but I remember binge watching that at a beach house. I've watched all three of those in their entirety since then.
I do remember watching Saturday morning cartoons for a while when I got a little older. The main ones I remember were Chaotic, Viva Piñata, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward.
I'm sure there were a bunch more that were on or that I saw, but those are things I remember.

First full day at the parks. Woke up right before 7am to attempt to get into the virtual queue for Runaway Railway, the new ride in Toontown. Managed to get in for a return time of around 11am. Went to grab the free breakfast from the hotel. Decent selection, with eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, also cereals, oatmeals, and fresh fruit. Not bad, and it helped fill my stomach before going into the parks.
(So for those playing along at home, I'm traveling with my boyfriend, J. Who is very patient with me and my constant fangirling.)
As I sat in the breakfast room, I watched the return time for my Runaway Railway queue number go down until it turned into a time an hour earlier than originally promised. So we high-tailed it into Disneyland, but we still had time before our return time. Went to ride other rides while waiting. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is my favorite Fantasyland ride, just because it's so ludicrous. You go on a nice drive like Mr. Toad, until you end up in a series of mishaps which eventually land you in Hell until you drive your way out. i love it so much.
We wandered around the park some more just taking everything in. Maybe some people might think of Disneyland as just a bunch of rides and attractions but one of my favorite things is watching other people enjoy themselves. I know it sounds weird, but the entire ambiance of the original Disney park just hits me hard in the feels. yes this is a gigantic corporation designed to squeeze money out from you. But I was a sheltered Gen x kid with access to the Disney Channel so it's the source of a lot of fond memories. I'll always be a Disney fan, I think.
We waiting around until our boarding group was called for Runaway Railway, so off we went!
I love this ride. First off, the queue is fantastic, it's basically a retrospective of Mickey Mouse's career, up to and including the new shorts. Goofy takes everyone for a ride on his train and STUFF HAPPENS so your traincar goes off into weird, toony scenes. Just as good as Rise of the Resistance. Incidentally, we haven't gone on Rise yet because I refuse to pay for any lightning lane access to any ride and the ride was consistantly going offline all day.
Anyway, Runaway Railway is cute and I liked the little preview of the revamped Toontown that's going to be opening soon.
After venturing into Toontown, we headed to the Winnie-the-Pooh ride (which is its own brand of ridiculous that tickles me alot). I also went to the Pooh Corner sweets shop to get a churro toffee (which I'd seen Chris from the Provost Park Pass Youtube channel rave about). I tried it out and it was good (the toffee wasn't super crunchy but actually crumbly and sweet and cinnamon-y and buttery) but I think I like Dole whips more.
Speaking of Dole whips! We headed to the Tropical Hideaway to grab a snack. This place specializes in various Dolewhip flavors, and they had a limited time menu item, a strawberry dole whip sundae which was delicious! Strawberry Dole whip, vanilla cake crumbles, and a sweet strawberry sauce. it was basically a strawberry shortcake in a glass.
Went on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a coaster that's just my speed, probably my favorite coaster in the park. I can't ride Space Mountain because the dark disorients my brain and I get motion sick. I don't like how the Matterhorn beats you up so much, so Big Thunder Mountain is my default best coaster.
A sign at the entrance to the park reminded visitors that there was going to be a special parade to celebrate the Super Bowl champs. I decidedly did not want to get caught in that crowd so we stuck around Tomorrowland during the time parade was happening.
We rode Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, which went down right when we got off, so we got lucky there! I still suck at the game though, forgot where all the triangles are. Then we hopped in the stand-by line for Star Tours. i know that the ride now includes the sequel trilogy stuff (cameos from Finn, Poe, and Maz) which is fun, but I still miss the classic trilogy stuff, the ride through Hoth for example. But the ride is still enjoyable.
While wandering through Tomorrowland, I found one of the kiosks selling the 100th anniversary medallions outside the exit near Space Mountain. I got the entire set of four, all Star Wars themed.
By the time we left Tomorrowland the parade was already over, so we didn't have to push through a sea of football fans to navigate. So we headed out of the park and into Downtown Disney so I could check out all the merch at World of Disney. Then we wandered to the Disneyland Hotel just to find their medallion kiosk. So I think this'll be my souvenir quest this year.
Took the Monorail from Downtown Disney back into Tomorrowland, then went through to Adventureland (to ride Jungle Cruise) and New Orleans Square (to ride Pirates). By then it was nearing dinner time (and it was getting pretty cold) so we called it a day.
There's a Hawaiian plate lunch place about a block from our hotel so we went to pick up dinner to take back to the hotel room.
Still have one more day of Disneyland to experience. Going to California Adventure in the morning, with a lunch reservation at Lamplight Lounge. Maybe we'll also check out the Lunar New Year things as well.

Howdy!
Hey y’all, Mac Jones here. This here’s an ask blog for me, Hailyn and Mindy. I’m the one who set this up, but we’ll all be runnin’ it together. I’m 16, and Hail and Minds are 15. We’re all in a band called The Toons, and we’re in high school. You’ll know it’s me cuz I’ll have a lil’ emoji after my text. -🪻
Heya, Hail here! My text’ll be normal, I just got an emoji after my stuff too. Make sure the questions are appropriate, ‘cuz we all are technically still kids, and also Yakko wouldn’t be happy at all. -🧇
Hiya!! I’m Mindy, this is my text, uh- ...i dunno if I wanna do an emoji so this’ll be my stuff an’ I’ll just put my name after the text. Oooh me and Mac are in a ban-
They know. -🪻
Oh. Ok! Uh- yeah, just- ask us stuff, listen to whatever those two said already- Byee!! -Mindy
((Hey all! Toony here, this’ll be the text when I’m out of character. I’d like to see some SFW asks, but angsty asks are okay too! Important details about this is that they’re all neurodivergent, and Mac’s mother passed away. He has two other siblings, Doc (19) and Betty (8), so if you wanna ask them stuff too, go ahead! Hailyn also has a pet spider named Maxwell II (max for short) and a pet dog named Milo, he’s a good boy. Mindy’s also a Goof. With all that said, ask away! Thanks!))

What I Consider Acceptable:
- Being turned into a humanoid or half-non-humanoid character. Non-morphic animal characters have to be anthro before they can be used as tf subject here, so either make them anthro or have an anthro version.
- Anthro Pokemon/half-humanoid Pokemon that can speak English. Fakemon are allowed.
- Horror characters as long as they're not Creepypasta characters, has to be a character from a horror movie or show, live-action prefered but can involve characters created via stopmotion, clay or sfx makeup.
-Nintendo and/or Smash Bros as long as you leave Fire Emblem characters out.
- TG of both genders.
- Curses.
- Becoming what you're dressed as along as it's a character i'm okay with.
- Alien species transformations.
- Dan Aykroyd/Aykroyd-verse themed especially if it involves the Were-Aykroyd. You can suggest crossover ideas too.
- Tim Burton transformations.
- Anthro-styled werecreatures.
- OC related as along as your OC isn't one we're supposed to root for only for said OC to turn against humanity at the end.
- Celebrities/actual people with the exception of people from the 40's to the 60's or athletes.
- See above..but as long as it's not historical figures since those don't count as celebrities or serial killers.
- Characters i'm familiar with, no anime characters outside of ones I know of since I only know of a few of them. But I will consider Jojo or Dragonball or anime I have seen.
- Disney characters.
- Dreamworks.
- Nickelodeon.
- Marvel.
- DC.
- Power Rangers/superhero in general.
- Bojack Horseman.
- South Park.
- Dead By Daylight.
- Buffyverse.
- David Lynch characters.
- Teen Wolf.
- Simpsons.
- Biker Mice.
- SNL.
- MLP.
- Weight gain if either the person is A: happy with being plumped up or B: Is turning into a character that is known for having that kind of build.
- Non-morphic animal characters but they have to anthro-fied first.
What I Don't Consider Acceptable:
- Anime characters unless it's one I have seen. Keep in mind I will be hesistant to tackle anything relating to Jojo or other anime unless I can do my own take on it or lampoon it. Just you have to give me info on the character you want and it has to be any anime I have seen or heard of. Despite what some may think I actually do appreciate some parts of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure and know there are good people in the fandom and you just have to look hard enough, but still...I might do Jojo characters down the line IF I can do something with them like for example having a stand user who has a stand themed around or based on a comedy song like Loadsamoney or a Weird Al song.
- No Nudity..not even SFW. Not even being a toony animal with no visible privates will save you from being scolded at by me for breaking this rule. I'm okay with sexy fan-service or shirtless/topless scenes but not full on nude scenes.
- 'Nothing scary/depressing/dark in my universe'...yeah, we're going to have to talk about that, for one thing I DON'T care if you made it that there's nothing scary/depressing in your world/the world of whatever creature you and your friend established, you're not in your world anymore, you're in mine, and you're going to have to toughen up to survive here, if you're expecting me to be turned into some cuddly-wuddly floofy creature of the night or something in my world, then you can kiss your expectations goodbye because cutesy-wutesy is something I don't do anymore...at least not often, and a lot of what I like is scary. Besides, if you use this type of excuse while also having a character that is known for being scary/predatorial (e.g wolves, sharks, big cats, etc) you are a hypocrite.
- Bodily functions.
- If you have your adventure/episode's lead be a child. Look I don't hate kid characters in RPs, it's just there's not much with a child character I can do that is essentially just an orphan character or a character who supposedly has no parents and just runs away from home only to meet said monster or creature character and decides that without even thinking of the consequences that this character should be their new mother/new parent. I'm sorry but even if you think it's a good idea, don't. This is a random monster you just met 3 hours ago, don't you even want to get to know them first before making them your new parent? Also where are your actual parents? Look, even if your depict them as being abusive dickheads, I am sure that they'll still be worried about you. Also there's not much I can do using kid characters that aren't established kid characters to begin with, like okay...your character is a kid at around 8 or 12 years old, is there anything else to them? Also please don't pair child characters up with adult characters up, even if they are animals, look I don't want to be accused of pedophilia. Either age them up to be adults or teenagers or make it so they're actually not children at all.
- Rubber latex anything. What does a rubber version of a character have that is different than the original form of that character? Apart from being made of rubber, nothing.
- Mind control used for humilating other people into being your depraved sex-slaves or for the purpose of intelligence draining. To me it's just scary and horrifying to watch.
- Feral.
- I don't do revenge stories, these stories are mostly fictional so don't ask for your enemies to be made into a revenge story.
- Anything Night Fury related. Look, I got burned out on Night Furies ages ago and I don't think i'll ever do one again, but please if you have to do them, make them anthro. I wouldn't know what to do with normal Night Furies since they don't make any noises apart from growls, hisses and animal-like noises.
- Creepypasta characters. They don't count as horror characters, to me a horror character has to be a character from a horror movie or horror comedy movie, a horror show, or a video game that is horror related, anything like Slenderman or Jeff the Killer falls under 'internet age horror'.
- Size changes. Especially if it's within the giant or kaiju variety.
- Sissyification or bimbos since to me it's demeaning unless I can parody that.
- Forced love. If you try to force a character to fall for another character specifically if that character hates the person/creature trying to make them love them.
- Clowns. Clowns aren't a species unless it's a clown based monster. Clown-based characters like Joker are acceptable, just stereotypically mindlessly happy clowns obsessed with spreading the happiness.
- Inanimate transformations. I know some people romanticize this a lot and enjoy being forcibly turned into something that cannot move or talk but I don't, I don't do those, I wouln't be at all attracted or fascinated by someone slowly swelling up as their organs are replaced with stuffing and they turn into an identical version of a stuffed animal/plushie that they saw in a store earlier. Please consider this when you do it.
- Minors. Absolutely nothing with characters who aren't past 18 please and no sexualization of child characters. Due to uhhh...reasons.
- Suiting. Being incased in a costume doesn't count as a transformation, that's basically just bondage.
- No non-morphic bear transformations...bears in transformations are overdone as they are due to how there's nothing much to a bear tf apart from snugging, hugging, and putting on weight for the winter, and here's the thing, I kind of think they're boring. If you want to be a bear, you have to make it anthro to get my approval, and any bear-like characters should at least be humanoid or anthro. It's fine if you want to be a bear character, but please give me a choice other than a bear. Give me something more interesting. Bears aren't interesting, all they do is eat and sleep...if you want that, you could have just chosen a koala.
- Being forced to be the same species as you. No offense to those who probably will do it, but why would I want to be the same species as the character i'm being turned into if it's like this? Do I have to be a bear like Ellinor? But Queen Ellinor is an annoying shrew, even as a bear and a terrible mother...why would I want to be like her especially if it's the only choice for someone like me? That Gooey Earth universe's rules confuse me, I mean yeah you SAY only Disney furry characters but half of the characters featured are non-morphic animal characters and one monster (Sulley), who probably shouldn't even be there since he is a monster as in a mythical being and not an animal, but hey at least he's bipedal. And also yeah i'm sorry but non-morphic animal character does not equal furry character, okay the Disney's Robin Hood cast I can get since they're anthro, but clearly Baloo and the others are non-morphic. Also Kenai I can understand since he's a cursed human turned bear and wasn't one from the start of the movie, but the other animals..yeah, you're going to have to explain how come all of the other Brother Bear animal characters can talk in English despite being non-morphic and how come humans cannot understand Kenai as a bear and can only hear growls. Like with Elinor, how come she can't talk as a bear but keeps her human intelligence? Is it specifically mentioned in the spell that the witch cast on her? Does it say 'you cannot talk as a bear but you'll regain your human intelligence'? That would be like if I cursed someone to turn into a Japanese monster and told them they could only speak in Japanese but with sbutitles and could keep their human intelligence and personality. Also...what constitutes as a Disney furry anyway? Do alien species from Star Wars count since Disney owns Star Wars? Do any of the Muppets count since Disney owns The Muppets too? Do any of Marvel's humanoid animal characters or alien characters count? Also...I don't care if the rules have it so the mud or whatever morphs me into whatever animal i've been interacting with, there should be a way to make it so I DON'T end up as the same species as the character i've interacted with. Also if we're going with the bear theme, could I at least be an anthro, or maybe just Rebecca from Talespin? That's the only mama bear i'd actually want to hook up with anyway since she's anthro. Look, i'm happy to be with whatever character you have chosen to turn into, but can I please be allowed to choose what species I get to be, if the only way to be with you is to be 'Shrekked' into being the same species as you, forget it.
