this is for an outer wilds x life series au @process-analog and i were discussing !

normally, when pairing up with the nomai watcher statue, you would get the memories from your current loop replayed of the things you just did.

grian's had a bit of a malfunction, and instead played the memories of all other games he has played before, causing an overwhelm of emotions over every moment coming back at the same time. just like when you remember a good moment that makes you smile, or a sad that makes your heart ache for a bit, but multiplied..

Seeing Sarah Michelle meeting up with Alyson Hannigan and now today sharing that bit of an interview with James Marsters in her instagram stories, where he's praising her for her work as Buffy, is giving me this hopeful vibe that both Willow and Spike WILL be in the new Buffy series.

Not to mention James not being able to publicly talk about the new show, saying "nice try!" when asked about it, talking about what he "CAN say", and answering that he can't "touch that question with a ten-foot pole" when asked how he'd write Spike's growth as a character if he could be in the new show, all of that is classic behavior of an actor who has a contract and can't reveal things about it until he's allowed by the studio or production team. I think he'd openly say "I'm not going to be in the new series" or "I haven't been contacted" if there was nothing in the talks about him coming back as Spike, especially by the amount of people asking him about it and asking for Spike's return in pretty much all comments section of posts and videos related to the Buffy "reboot" (it's actually a revival or a sequel, I'd say).

Please! His behavior at that convention is giving a vibe that he HAS at least been contacted and there IS something he needs to be quiet about! I'm positive both Spike and Willow will be involved to some capacity.

I commissioned @tikklil from Twitter/Instagram again to draw 42 Miles/42 Gwen based off @bloody-writing's fic Tonight You Belong To Me. This fic is the reason why I ship them so hard, so I think it's only fitting that I commission fanart inspired by this fic as a thank you. Hopefully, I can do some more commissions based on this fic because there are scenes that I really think is worth seeing illustrated. So fingers crossed. Which makes me wonder if Rook Aldwir kept up the habit after leaving to travel with Varric... they're still in such dangerous circumstances I think they must have. Maybe told Bellara where in their room they kept it tucked away just in case. I wonder how long Bellara (if not chosen for the mirror) sat with that knowledge after Rook gets dragged into the Fade... after the first few days would she go read it herself? Would she leave it and just keep hoping that it wouldn't be relevant, that they'd get her back? Would she get it, and pass it along to Rook's LI (if other than herself)? fantastic angst potential there
