#day2 : It took a while for me to just be myself and stop trying to meet other’s unspoken and spoken expectations. It’s no fun when those spoken expectations are just negative, tacky bullshits. It’s toxic and hard to get away from it in certain crowds. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The good news is I learned that’s just not who I am and I won’t chime in with that noise. It’s not about the streotypes nonsense thing, it’s a respect thing. Some people always going to shame and ridicule to feel better about their own shitty self. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have found higher caliber friends in my life by maintaining respect for myself and others without going dark and tacky. It’s an old and simple lesson, to make good friends, be a nice person to people. Other nice people notice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some people are just stuck at a phase where they are lashing out.
