powerline in a flash flood is EXACTLY how I picture their powers interacting btw. god.. it's so scary on BOTH sides because like. can you imagine the fucking collateral damage when they fight EACH OTHER?????? that's a "holy shit clear the city block or else" kind of power interaction I think. I think Tide instead of making big waves would probably try to condense his power into smaller like... bubbles? projectiles? separate objects so there isn't like. widespread electric charge throuhj all of his water. u know what's also cool. I still haven't made my post abt this because it's literally just me waxing poetic about wetsuits of all things BUT. I think tides costume is built like a Wetsuit But More which means the majority of the outside layer is probably neoprene which is resistant to electric currents. so like. it works out so perfect. he's not immune to being zapped obv bbut I think he can tank one or two direct hits before it becomes a problem . I think there was a really embarrassing fight really early on in their rivalry where mark realized a lot of his gadgets were Not Waterproof so he had to get out of there so fast before Tide short circuited all his gear. lmao skill issue.

TEAM UP FIGHTING THOUGH. OOOOOH BUDDY. THE TEAM ATTACKS PROBABLY GO FUCKING CRAZY. i know it wasn't described tjis way in canon but could you IMAGINE if the way they busted through the barrier in ep 38 was by like... tide making a big water fist and punching the barrier and just as it made contact mark electrified it so it shattered on impact....... man....... no but seriously I bet they're so fucking dangerous together. tide can flood a city block. tide can make individual projectiles out of water. imagine you're gonna get hit with pokemon move bubble beam and then it gets turned into fuckign. thunderbolt halfway through.

i imagine they don't necessarily *need* to be in close range, Mark can probably make one of his little disc things that emits an electric charge that he can throw into the water. but because I'm still on my tidalwave shit. picturing them standing like... back to back surrounded by whatever and tide shields them with this big dome of water and mark puts his hands (big gauntlets) on it to electrify it..... do u see the vision here. ifk man it's like 3am im just making shit up. I think. the first time they kiss tide get static shocked so bad.
