Despite the fact that Tig’s eyes were open, that his gun was in his hand, that he was moving down the stairs towards his front door, he still felt like he was asleep. He wasn’t, of course, because the pounding against his front door had made sure of that. It was incessant, and if he had felt a little more awake he would’ve been yelling at whoever it was to knock it off, but he just had to settle for grumbling under his breath. Holding back a deep sigh, he flipped the deadbolt on the door and pulled it open, gun held tightly at his side.
Of all the people he thought he was going to be opening the door to, Claire wasn’t one of them. It was late, she should’ve been home, and she also had a key to let herself in with. All of those thoughts were running in the background of Tig’s sleep-addled brain as he looked at her, trying to register the sight in front of him.
Her eyes were puffy and red, makeup smeared beneath them. Now that she wasn’t trying to break his door down, her arms were folded tightly across her body, trembling even though it wasn’t all that cold out. Her hair was a mess—however she’d had it tied up before, all that was left in the ponytail now were a few locks of it, the rest around her shoulders and out of control. She shifted nervously from one foot to the other as she stood on his front step, glancing back over her shoulder for a moment before turning back to look at him again. Her bottom lip trembled as she opened and closed her mouth a few times, trying to find any kind of words to say even though she was coming up empty.
Even with the deep breath she took, her voice still came out small and shaky as she finally got herself to say, “Please don’t tell my dad.”
Confusion crossed his face at that. Shaking his head slightly, he reached out and gently looped his arm around her, trying not to take it personally when she flinched at his touch as he guided her inside. His voice was soft from more than just sleep as he told her, “Get in here.”
He did a quick scan of the street before stepping back into the house himself, putting the deadbolt back in place. When he turned around, he found Claire standing in the middle of his living room in much the same position she was on his step. It’d been a long time since he had seen her looking so rattled about anything. Fear never seemed to sink its claws into her, even though most times it should’ve.
“What’s going on?” he asked, tucking his gun into the back of his waistband.
She shook her head, running her hands back through her hair. “They can’t know. You gotta,” she paced in front of him, “you gotta promise you’re not gonna tell my mom and dad.”
“Claire—”
“Or Jax,” she cut him off, her voice trembling. “God. I didn’t even—” she dropped her face into her hands for a moment, “Fuck.”
He stepped in front of her so that she wouldn’t be able to keep walking when she finally lifted her face from her hands. He wanted to lift her head, make her look him in the eyes. He wanted to hold her, but he felt like she might shatter if he did.
“Claire,” he repeated, “talk to me, baby. What’s going on?”
She finally looked up at him, tears on her cheeks. She finally let her arms drop to her sides, and that was when Tig saw the blood splattered along the neckline and chest of her light grey t-shirt. “Please don’t tell them.”
Tig had never heard her plead like that, like she actually meant it. “I can’t tell anyone anything,” he reached out and gently thumbed the tears off her cheek, not saying anything about the way she recoiled slightly at the gesture, “if you don’t tell me what happened. So,” he brought his hand to rest on her shoulder, “what happened?”
She sniffled, shaking her head. “They told me. They told me not to get involved. And I,” she stepped away, giving herself room to start pacing again as she spoke, “I didn’t listen. That’s what they’re gonna tell me, too, you know. They’re just gonna tell me that if I had fucking listened—”
“Don’t worry about them,” Tig interrupted her spiraling train of thought. Whatever she went through, and she was still worrying about the rest of them. “Gemma, Clay, Jax—fuck all them right now, okay?”
“Tig…” the lump in the back of her throat made it hard to speak, his name coming out weaker than she wanted it to.
He could see the way her eyes darted around, looking at him, scanning the room, glancing over at the door, going back to him, repeating the cycle all over again. The longer the two of them stood there, the more he realized that he might not be getting anything out of her for a while. As much as he hated being in the dark, he also knew that trying to drag it out of her wasn’t going to be good for either of them. Claire had never been anything other than an open book with him. She’d been that way her whole life: a chronic over-sharer, oftentimes to a fault. If she wasn’t telling him something, it wasn’t a choice for her—she just couldn’t do it.
“What am I doing?” The question rhetorical, forced out past a sob.
“You’re okay,” he said, not knowing at all if it was true. Stepping in, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug that she gladly collapsed into. Hooking his chin over her head, he ran his hand up and down her back. “You’re okay.”
She didn’t hug him back. She wanted to, but she couldn’t force herself to do it, like the amount of strength it would take to return the embrace was too much for her to exert in the moment. Her arms hung limply at her sides as she leaned against him, tears and makeup smearing across the shirt that he was wearing. She was glad for the reprieve, the comfort and care that she wouldn’t have gotten if she had gone home.
Tig didn’t know how long the two of them stood there like that before he finally asked, “You gonna stay?” He asked it like a question, but there was only one answer that he was going to accept.
She didn’t pull away, just nodding as she stayed pressed to him. “If that’s okay.”
He kissed the top of her head. “Of course it is.”
He finally pried himself away from her, hands still resting on the outsides of her arms. Claire couldn’t force herself to look him in the eyes for a moment, her gaze staying fixed on the floor. There was a brief moment when she thought about turning around and running back to her car. But there was no getting away from it. It was all going to come crashing down eventually.
“Can I borrow something to, you know,” she gestured to the blood smeared on her shirt.
Tig nodded. “I’ll grab you something.”
He was hardly gone for a minute before he reappeared with a shirt and a pair of sweatpants in his hands. Neither of them were really going to fit her, but they didn’t have blood on them so they were a step in the right direction. She was only going to wear them to sleep, after all, so he figured that she wasn’t really going to mind.
Handing them over to her, he said, “Go shower. I’ll,” he gestured to the couch, “get this ready for you.”
She didn’t know why fresh tears spilled over onto her cheeks as she nodded, but they did. Neither of them acknowledged them as she reached and took the clothes from him. “Thank you.”
Tig watched her as she slowly made her way off towards his bathroom. He waited until he heard the sound of the shower running before he went to grab an extra pillow and blankets for the couch. He was going through the motions of it all, realizing how long it had been since someone had turned up on his step looking for a safe place to stay. That’s not usually what anyone needed him for.
It wasn’t often that Claire came by for more than a drink and to complain about her brother. Both of those activities were things that Tig was more than happy to indulge in with her. But she never needed to hide out at his house. The more Tig thought about it, the last time she was there for anything close to this purpose, was when she was a kid. It wasn’t just her, though. Thomas was there, and so were Tig’s daughters. Jax had managed to talk his way into staying at Opie’s with Mary and Piney, which was just as well. Despite the circumstances of it all, Tig almost found himself smiling at the memory of it. No one told the kids why they were actually staying at Tig’s, so they all just treated it like a big sleepover. They were better off that way.
The smile on his face faded when he realized that Claire was the only one out of the four who was still around. Tig couldn’t remember the last time that Dawn or Fawn had crossed county lines into Charming, and everyone knew what had happened to Thomas. So it was just Claire, and it didn’t seem like she was much better off than the rest of them for having stayed.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her footsteps, the creak of the floorboards beneath her feet. Turning around, he saw her standing there in his clothes, hers balled up in her hands because she didn’t know where she should leave them. Despite his clothes not being the right size for her, Tig couldn’t help but to think that she still didn’t look as small as she did standing on his doorstep. She didn’t look okay yet, but she looked better. It was a start.
He wanted to ask how she was, but the answer was obvious. He also wanted to ask her again about what had happened, but she finally looked like she wasn’t waiting for someone to come kicking his door in after her, so he let it lie. Whatever the circumstances were, they wouldn’t change before morning.
“I’m sorry,” she said as she stepped in closer, her voice quiet, still unsteady. She didn’t know which part of it all she was really apologizing for. Maybe all of it.
He shook his head as he took the clothes from her, unsure of whether he should just toss them for her or wash them. “It’s okay.” He gave her a small smile. “Not the worst mess I’ve had to clean up.”
It got a weak laugh out of her as she shook her head. “Gross.”
They both chuckled for a moment, despite the exhaustion, all of the questions lingering above their heads. Tig let a few beats pass before asking, “Want me to stay down here?”
She shook her head, nose twitching to fight off the sniffle she could feel creeping up. “I’ll be okay.”
He studied her face. “You sure?”
She took a deep breath, trying her best to sound as certain as she usually did. “Yea.”
He didn’t want to push it, didn’t want to make things worse all over again, so he nodded. Stepping in, he gave her another hug, kissing the side of her head, not caring that her hair was still damp. “I’ll be upstairs if you need me.”
She nodded as she hugged him back. “Thank you.”
He noticed the way that she wasn’t quite ready to let go yet, so he didn’t make her. Leaning his head against hers, he said, “Whatever it is, we’ll figure it out.”
She let out a shaky breath, but she still nodded. “Okay.”

A Lucky Man
The club is trying to get out of the deal with the Cartel, Tig Trager and his Old Lady are content, but Tig worries about what might happen if something happens to him, then he comes up with a plan
This was supposed to be a short one shot that was inspired by some Tig Trager images I had seen. It turns out I ramble
Tig sat with his old lady in his lap, whisky in hand while he contemplated just how well things seemed to have worked out. The club had managed to get out of a lot of the shit that they had been dealing with, The drugs were mostly handed over to the Mayan’s, the gun trade from the Irish was flowing smoothly and he had, least ways in his opinion, one of the hottest old ladies going
Janna was a petite dark haired quiet young thing that had ended up calling for a tow when her broken down SUV had final decided enough was enough and had packed up when she needed to go home with her groceries.   Tig hadn’t been on tow duty that day but he had been there when they unloaded the hunk of junk that she called a car and he had seem the petite woman with frankly awesome curves that had stumbled out of the cab. He had picked up the paperwork and headed over there to see what he could learn about the pretty young car owner. They had struck up a fun conversation, she was new to the area and would be opening a massage parlour. Not that kind of massage parlour she had informed him when he wiggled his eyebrows in response, It took him some convincing, a few coffees and a bouquet of flowers before she agreed to date him. She had been warned about the Son’s and had not been keen to get involved with them. When anyone asked her how on earth she ended up with the SAA of a motorcycle club she would just smile and say they were motorcycle enthusiasts and that Tig had beautiful eyes,
She had made him work for every step on their journey, After their first date it took another 4 before he managed to charm her pants off and his way into her bed, The sex had been phenomenal. She had been open to trying almost everything he wanted. She had admitted that while she wasn’t some simmering virgin, she didn’t have that much experience and what experience she did have wasn’t something she was keen to repeat. Tig had taken great delights in adding to her sexual education trying new positions, toys and even roll play. For the first time in a long time he was content. He didn’t want crow eaters, he looked forward to coming home just so he could be with his Old Lady.
It took him 2 years of serious dating and moving in with Janna before he officially asked her to take his crow. Neither had been in a rush to get married but the crow solidified her place in the club. It let everyone know she was his and that they needed to keep their hands off of her.
Janna seemed to enjoy the club, She got on as well as anyone could with Gemma and took the teasing from the guys with good nature. She understood the risks and dangers that came with the club and trusted Tig to try and make smart choices.
Of course getting out of the drug business had bought its share of issues and dangers, He had come home bloody and bruised on more than one occasion, but when she saw that look in his eyes she knew not to push and she would help him clean up with soft hands, and give him the spaces that he needed.
One night they had been lying in bed talking, him stroking her hair, her running her fingers over his chest, occasionally twirling her fingers in the hair she found there, when he had asked “How did an Old Fella like me charm a pretty little thing into my life huh? She had hummed and then given him a look from through her eye lashes “ Well I guess your just lucky that it was you that came over that day, there were other of your brothers there who could have beaten you to the punch Alex”
That had caught his attention, there had been another brother that she had considered rather than him. He scowled a little feeling the first stirrings of jealousy. “Really?” “Easy there Tigger. It’s only you that i want in my life and my bed, But sure, that day someone else kind of caught me eye”
He had felt soothed by her reassurance and relaxed back down “Hmmm let me think” his brain ran through what he could remember about the day, and to be fair most of hsi memories of that say centred on the naked woman who was in his bed right now “I really don’t get why all you ladies throw yourselves at Jax and Juice I mean, sure they’re pretty but experience counts baby “
Janna had laughed at his suggestion “Oh god Tig. Juice and Jax, really! I’d spend my days fighting over bathroom and time and dealing with either Mommy issues or well what ever issues it is Juice has at any given moment Thanks but no thanks ”
“What you gonna tell me that you suddenly got a think for Tubby hairy blokes. I’m supposed to believe that you had your eye on Bobby?”
“No! Jesus Tig” “Well then who? Come on tell me !” He had tickled and poked at her but still she wouldn’t fess up. Eventually while they stood together in the kitchen he had tried again making guesses while drinking beer “So not Bobby, Jax or Juice, so that leaves, Opie, Clay, Happy and Chibs. I think the rest of the Club was out that day” She had blushed when he listed the names and he took a moment to work out
“So it wouldn’t be Clay. You would have never dared face the wrath of Gemma and Opie totally isn’t your kind, Honestly doll I guess it could be either of the other two Come on give me a clue, You know its gonna bug me forever”
She had smiled at him then “Alex you know that you are who I want to be with right? That’s why I have your Crow, it’s why I’m your Old Lady,”
“I know Doll but I just gotta know” “If I tell you I don’t want you making a big thing about this. I’m serious Alex. I don’t want to feel uncomfortable and I don’t want them feeling that way either” Her eyes had been serious as she looked at him gauging whether or not this was a good idea Tig had just nodded “Scouts honour babe” “Alex I seriously doubt you were in the scouts, and even if you were they would have kicked you out within the first month” “Look I promise ok!” She had sighed and put the knife down that she had been using before turning to rest her hip on the work surface “It was Chibs OK When we first pulled in and i got out of the truck it was Chibs that caught my eye. He was explaining something to one of the other mechanics, showing them what to do. He’s an attractive man and then I heard him talking and he was firm and direct but not unkind” “The Scots man, huh, Well I guess I’m lucky he was busy or it could be another crow you had on you” “Tig….” “Its all good doll, You want another beer?”
Nothing more had been said of it, though that night he knew that he had been more dominant and forceful i bed. Janna was naturally more submissive and it turned him the hell on, and, as much as he hadn’t wanted to admit it, he was a little jealous of the fact that he hadn’t been the one to catch her eye first.
They had not talked about it again and mostly Tig had put it out of his mind. Janna was his and they were perfectly happy with each other. He had watched on a couple of occasions when Janna and Chibs were together, There was never anything suspicious in what they did, they were friendly and no more, but he did notice that sometime his Scottish brothers eyes would linger a little longer on her cleavage, or ass, and that he seemed a little more gentle when she was around.
They had been working on getting out of the Cartel. Clay was long gone, Gemma was with Nero and Jax was president now, Tig didn’t wear the SAA patch but he was content with his role in the club. They had been on a run and he had spoken with Janna and was now set on getting drunk before he crashed out for the night. He had settled next to Chibs and they were working their way through a bottle of Whisky talking about upgrades they might want to make to their bikes. They were about half way through the bottle when Tig suddenly stopped talking glanced at Chibs and it just slipped out “Yah know she had her eye on you brother” “What the hell you talking about Tiggy?” Chibs was clearly lost by the sudden turn in conversation “Janna, we talked about it, like moths ago, when she got out the truck, she saw you and thought you were hot man” Chibs looked a little uncomfortable for a moment before he smoothed a hand over his goatee and gave a small smile “Well brotha you know y magnetism knows no bounds. You’re just lucky that one of the guys screwed up his repair and I was busy” Tig swallowed down his shot and turned so he was facing Chibs more directly. He looked down at the table and folded his hands together. Chibs looked concerned when he didn’t laugh “Tig you know that I’d not go there brotha, she’s your old lady”
Tig didn’t look up, he sucked his lip for a second before he continued “If anything were ever to happy to me, you know that I’d want you to look out for her right. If there was ever a reason that I couldn’t be there, you’re the only brother I would trust with her” He looked up then his cold blue eyes meeting Chib’s brown ones “Of course brotha , what ever you need. But Tiggy, nothings gonna happen, right?” Tig had taken a drink and smiled “Sure”
He had of course told her, she had of course been mad and the sex they had a couple of days later had been epic. They had been lying in bed when he had brought it up something that had been going on in his head for a while “ So the Chib’s thing, there was a reason I told him, you know” Janna had sighed and rolled to look at him “Ok i’ll bite why did you tell him Alex” “He’s lonely doll. He has been for a long time and I wanted him to know that ladies still had an interest in him., Look things can go south pretty quickly. This shit with the Cartel, we’re working on getting out of it, but this isn’t going to be some clean break, Things will get messy and there is a good chance we don’t all get to come out of this whole, or without jail time, I’m going to try my best to come back to you, but if I can’t, well Doll there is not another man I would rather intrust my Old Lady too and if it became more, well then I would rather it be him than anyone else. He’ll treat you right “
“Alex!” Janna had sat up then, sheet pulled up oboe her chest and her eyes wide “You make it sound like its a done deal, It’s always been dangerous but baby I need you to not think like that . You need to be positive and come back to me, Besides how is that even fair to Chib’s? What if he has someone in his life, you cant expect him to drop that for me Hell if you’re all in jail he’s probably gonna be right there with you . Even if he’s not then your assuming a lot Alex, you know people have to be compatible for things to work out”
“Baby” Tig reached to pill her close “Chibby, he doesn’t have anyone right now, but if he did then sure I wouldn’t expect him to be more than a friend, but if I end up in jail on drug charges, well there’s a good chance I’m not coming out again. God willing it doesn’t come to that but we need to be prepared, I get what you’re saying it may take a while but if it comes to it I think you two would be good together. That’s all I’m saying “
“Alex please, look thinking we’d be good together is different than being good together. Chibs and I might not have chemistry and baby I love how we are together, The way we do things. You make me feel great Alex and you look after me and know just what I want and need, That’s what I want,”
He had kissed her and hugged her close but in his mind he planned for what he knew was likely coming.
He spoke with Chibs one night. Explained the conversations that he and Janna had been through, Chibs had listened and had protested as vehemently as Janna had. “Brotha, she’s your old lady and incarcerated or not I can’t be with her” “But would you, if I was gone, would you want to be with her” “Jeysus Tig “ “It’s a simple question man, do you find her attractive , would you have been interested if she had come to you first” “Yes! of course I would, what man wouldn’t but your missing then point” “No brother you’re the one missing the point. We know this Cartel shit wont be smooth and I need to know that she’s taken care of man, What I’m saying brother is I’m willing to share if you are” “What?” “You heard me. We’ve shared a crow eater before but I’m telling you that I’m willing to share Janna too. She’s still attracted to you. If she’s up for this I’m not talking a one of thing - I’m thinking long term. Just think about it man”. He’d left Chibs then wondering how he brought this up to Janna
It had taken a couple of weeks and a close call where Chibs had taken a bullet to the shoulder and Tig was covered in scrapes and cuts before they spoke of it again Chibs had waited until Tig went through to his dorm to clean up before he approached him
“Tigger hang on, you got a sec to talk” Chibs gestured to the dorm room “Whats up ?” “Look I’ve been thinking about what you said, How are you going to be ok with Janna being with me. Say we went ahead - i don’t want to loose you as a brother for a woman.” Tig smiled - he knew that he was on board now if he’d thought this much about it “ So to start with I figure its the 3 of us. we work it out, and I guess we talk” “And Janna she’s up for this?” “She’s not opposed to it, has she accepted it - not one hundred percent but I figure we can convince her without trying too hard” “I need to be healed, before we try anything” “Sure thing brother”
Tig knew he had to start getting Janna on board, A couple of nights after his discussion with Chibs there had beeb a club party. He made sure that he knew where Chibs was most of the night so that he and Jana could be close by. After a couple of drinks he stood behind her, arm banded tightly around her waste, mouth by her ear as he whispered “You like it when I hold you really tight, so you cant move don’t you doll” She had hummed her acceptance and pushed back into him “Your such a good girl for Daddy aren’t you. You know how to do what your told, how to ask for what you want hmm” He licked the shell of her ear and he felt her breathing pick up “Yes you are.Look over there Doll, Do you see CHibs, see how he’s making sure that Crow eater makes him feel good His hand in hr hair as she moved, How would that feel doll, me behind you holding you tight, making sure you cant move, Chibby with his hand sigh in your hair, controlling how you move, what do you think huh, my dick in your pussy, his in your mouth. You’d be a good girl for daddy and earn your reward wouldn’t you” She was panting by the end of it, her ass pushing back into him, his hard on pushing back and her breath coming out in soft pants . He had taken her back to his dorm room and fucked her hard, holding her tightly telling her how to move and what to do. She had begged him to let her come but he had held off until she nearly cried with frustration and then she had come so hard he had worried she would be done for the night. Later on when they were recovered he had taken her back out and gotten them both drinks before guiding her to sit o na couch between himself and Chibs. Chibs had leant over close to her ear and whispered to her. What ever he said her checks went pink and she had seemed flustered.
Their game as he liked to think if it had gone on for another couple of weeks, there were whispered words, ideas that he thought she might find hot, comments and looks that let her know he was having fun teasing her. He didn’t think that she had worked out that Chibs was in on the whole thing. He would position himself somewhere that he knew Tig and Janna would be able to see him. When a crow eater was spending time with him, sucking him off he would hold their head but look up and make eye contact with Janna, He played it off as if it were incidental, but Tig new different, He let the tension build, The sex he and his Old Lady had was beyond hot. She was obviously getting wore dup, and he knew, were it not for her more submissive nature then she would probably have been far more aggressive with him in dealing with her needs.
He let things build slowly and then he had approached her telling her what he wanted to happen “I love you doll, your my old lady and I want you to be happy, and I think that I know what would make you happy. Do you trust me?” “Of course I do Alex, always” “Ok Doll, get undressed, leave on your bra and panties and then close our eyes for me” He had moved around her touching, caressing, pinching, licking. He could see her becoming more excited, Her hips jerked towards him anytime he was close enough, her nipples were tight and prominent and her pulse was through the roof. It was then he had gone and opened the door, allowing Chibs to come in and then he had moved to stand behind her. He banded his arm tightly around her body below her breasts, pushing them up slightly, his other hand gripped her hip as he spoke into her ear. “Do you remember that night where we watched Chibs and we talked about you being trapped between us, your hair wrapped around his hand, his cock going in and out your mouth, Tell Daddy baby, do you remember”
He felt Janna swallow “Yes I remember” “And it got you hot” “Yes” He had looked at Chibs who had nodded and moved forward wrapping his hand tightly in her hair, pulling her head back before he ran his nose up her neck. “Hmmm is that right. Does your wee lassie want you to fuck her body while I fuck her mouth brotha” Janna’s eyes had flown open at the new voice but Tig kept control “Remember baby you trust me. You want this to end then you say red, yellow if your unsure. Tell me where you are baby” She had stumbled for a second before stuttering “Green” “Good girl” Tig smirked at Chibs from over Janna’s shoulder. “After you brother”.   He watched as Chibs ran his nose back up Janna’s neck stopping at the hollow under her ear where he licked and sucked on the skin. Tig felt her moan before he heard it. A deep vibration that came from low in her chest. He ran his hands up pulling at her bra cups until her breasts were exposed his hands moving to her nipples where he tweaked and twisted, Janna’s groans becoming moans. Chibs stepped back and looked down. He licked at his lips as he took in the sight before him. Janna’s beasts rose and fell as she panted with desire, her nipples already taught from his fingers her panties already starting to look damp. “Ah Tiggy your girl is a sight brother, look at her there so needy. She’s a sight for sure brother. Where do you want to do this?” Tig gestured to the bed “On you go little girl, to the bed, and take those panties off , on your hands and knees”
He watched as she moved as he asked. Her eyes immediately going to the floor as she moved. Stood shoulder to shoulder with Chibs “See brother she likes to be told wha to do, She’s a good girl who needs someone to look after her. Keep her safe” Chibs just grunted his agreement his hand going to his crotch to palm his already hard dick. The truth was he had always found Janna beautiful, but Tig had claimed her, made her his Old Lady and Chibs had accepted the fact that friendship would be the best he would get, If he was being really honest then there had been more than one occasion where he had gotten himself off to thoughts of her. Usually naked and begging him to fuck her, He knew that this was going to hurt, when it was over he would have had his taste of paradise and he would never be admitted again, but for now he would relish what he had, there would be time enough later for tears.
He waited for Tig to move first, to set the tone but as soon as he did Chibs moved towards the head of the bed. “See baby, I told you that Chibs would want to join us. He needs a name though hmm what do you think? You can’t have two daddies, How about a papa hmm” When she didn’t answer tig raised his hand and brought it down with a resounding slap on her right ass cheek. “Don’t forget your manners baby, I asked you a question, what do you think?” “I, i think he should pick Daddy, Just like you picked” Her words came out with a moan and she relished the sting. “Lets see how we go first, don’t you think lassie. Now open wide and show me how you can take care of me, Eyes on me wee girl” Tig watched as Janna raised her head and made eye contact. He knew her large expressive eyes would be full of desire and he could image the way her tongue would lick her lips in anticipation. He knew that she wouldn’t make a move until Chibs told her too, it was just the way she liked things to be.
He watched Chibs wrap her hair around his hand and then guide his dick to her mouth. The groan that came from his mouth as she engulfed his cock had Tig undoing his pants and moving behind her. He ran his hand down over her ass before sliding his fingers further round and into her warm depths. As his fingers sank in knuckle deep her heard her groan around Chibs. “Thats it lass, good girl”. He listened to his brothers words as he wiped his damp fingers over his cock in preparation . Learning forward he wrapped one arm in a band around her midsection “That’s a good girl” he crooned as he sank his cock into her “Yeah baby just like that” She moved between them back and forth her moans and sighs muffled by Chibs. Tig pounded into her from behind, He found the whole thing beyond hot. He had never imagined sharing his woman with another man, but here he was and he wasn’t going to deny that it got him off. He heard Chibs grunts become more forceful “Good girl just like that, thats it lass” and he knew that his brother would be finishing soon. He spend up his thrusts sitting back up into his knees and bringing his hand down again on Janna’s ass cheek “Damn good girl, you show Chibs how you know how to look after him. Make me proud baby” His words seemed to have an effect based on Chibs muttered curse of “Jeysus” and then he was lost in his own bliss.
They lay together each on one side of Janna recovering. Tig pondered the fact that this didn’t feel odd. He had no desire to touch Chibs, or do anything with just him, but the idea of sharing his Old Lady didn’t creep him out at all. Even now, after the fact he was ok with what was happening. He leant his head closer to Janna’s ear talking quietly, not quiet a whisper, making sure Chibs could hear, but sure that no one snooping outside would “Tell me did you enjoy that baby?” Janna had smiled and nodded “Very much so” “Hmm” he rubbed his goatee against her shoulder “So you would be happy to do this again, if Chibs wanted” He watched as his old lady bit on her bottom lip and thought before nodding again “Yes, if you were ok with that” . He had smiled then, a broad grin, “Sure thing Doll” He pulled himself from the warmth of the bed “ i meed to piss, then I’m going to bring back some drink You two should sort out what ever you need to”
He had taken his time out in the bar. He talked shit for a while before demanding that the prospect hand him a bottle of whiskey and then heading back towards the dorm. When a crow eater had stopped him to ask if he had seen Chibs he had snarled and told her that Chibs was busy and he wouldn’t have time for her tonight. In his dorm he had found Chibs straddling Janna, hands tied up in her hair her legs pushed ups by her ears as he slowly thrust into her. “Good girl lass, just like that. You make your Da feel so good baby. You listen so well, Tighten up now, thats a girl, use your muscles God …Yes ! just like that. CHibs had moved the hand that held up her leg to grad her jaw and force her to look at him “Eye’s on me lass. Thats it don’t you look away now. This, what we’re doing here if just for me and your Daddy, you hear me, You don’t need to be looking at the others. These eyes, your mouth, this pussy, it belongs to us, yeah!” Tig had been entranced, seeing the way that she listened and was so desperate to please Chibs, the same as she was with him. He sat in the chair at his desk, and took a pull of the drink he brought with him His eyes didn’t leave his old lady, he watched as she created higher on her wave of pleasure, getting closer and closer to coming. When he was sure she was dancing on the edge he called out “ Don’t you come little girl, not until he tells you to” He watched her fight then, to hold herself on the edge without falling over. He watched her tits bounce and her hands clenched he felt himself grow hard. Whisky in one hadn’t, dick in the other he stroked himself as he watched her ride the edge, until Chibs told her to cum, and as she did so did he.
Buy the time he was cleaned up and back out in the room, Janna was asleep in the bed ad Chibs had his pants on and was sitting having smoke and a drink. Chibs offered him the booze before having another long draw on the cigarette. “Hell Tiggy she’s something else brotha” “She is at that. Now you’ve had a taste you need to decide man, Im happy for this to be a one time thing or for it to be more. I mean there are rules and things we need to work out, but if you want this can be a regular thing, You and her, me there me not. I’ll share brother. her body our bed, our life, but if we do this thing, then it’s just between us, and if something happens to me, then you have to be there for her”
Chibs had looked at him long and hard before tipping his head, “Let’s work out the details brother and go from there”
It took a while, there was undoubtably some jealousy but they found a way to make it work. More often than not their trysts would be outside of the club. Gemma had been too caught uo in her own business to pay all that much attention to what was happening, but neither man was foolish enough to think that would last, They had agreed that there could be occasional ouching in public, but only things that could be passed of as teasing, or friendly, In private well Chibs was Da and he was Daddy and they had a damed good time. Chibs more or less lived in their house now. They had a spare room with a bathroom attached and they had given it to Chibs, Janna delighted in having two people to look after and while things seemed odd for a while Tig realised that after a few months it was normal to come in and find his Old Lady lying on the couch reading, Chibs siting at the other end watching the TV and her feet pulled into his lap as he absentmindedly rubbed them. It gave him a sense of peace to know that he had a family, odd as it may be, to come home to away from all the shit.
As things at home became more normal, things in the club became more chaotic. Both men found themselves out on runs, or out dealing wit cartel shit more and more and there were disagreements around the table as to how to deal with what was happening. Things came to a head when Tara and Gemma had been followed and shot at on their way home from a shopping trip. Tara had called Jax and the club had gone onto high alert. There was discussion of a lock down, but they decided to hold off, the Son’s had more that one enemy and overreacting could be exactly what they had hoped for.
Janna had said she understood why they had to be away and why she had to be more careful but Tig could see that she worried about them, and she never seemed truly relaxed unless they were both home. On nights where one was later than they had planned the sex would be frantic and desperate, with hands, teeth and nails coming into play more than usual. They had found that Janna needed them to be more in control inside and outside of the bedroom to help alleviate her anxiety,
Chibs had been away up north dealing with gun running issues when things suddenly got much closer to home. Tig had been away on a run. They had guns that they were running across to Nevada which would be sold to make money for the Cartel. Jax had been in negotiation to get them out of the deal that Clay had made, This run they had the truck as well as the bikes, They had fully automatic assault rifles stored in with electronics. The deal was they made this shipment and drove back the truck packed with coke and they would be out. If they were caught, wen then the Son’s would take the fall and the jail time would probably have most of them not seeing the outside world again until they were very very old men. It was high risk with a high payout. They had been most of the way to Nevada, having avoided any issues when Tig’s phone started to ring, He couldn’t take the chance of pulling over and drawing attention to their convoy, so he knew he had to wait until they reached their next gas stop and he put the call out of his mind. After gassing up the bikes and truck and grabbing some awful gas station food he remembered to check his cell. He smiled when he saw Janna’s phone number, With Chibs having been away for a couple of weeks they had enjoyed their alone time, but today, when it came time to leave she had definitely been more clingy than he was used to. She had made him promise on multiple locations to be safe. He had promised her that he would be as cautious as was possible and reminded her that Chibs would be home in the next day or so and then sent her off to work, with a slap on the ass and a wink. Janna knew that he would call her back when they pulled over for the night he figure she was calling to live him a little message, She often did when he was on a run. Usually something a little sweet and a little sexy at the same time. He wanted to listen to it but at the same time he couldn’t afford to be distracted, so sent a quick message before pocketing the phone and getting back on his bike.
The closer that they got to the drop off in Nevada the more traffic they came across. Jax signalled for them to pull into the next gas station while he called to confirm the drop of location. With directions in hand they worked out that it was another hours drive and then they could head to one of their brother charters for the night. The initial hand off went quickly and every member of the club seems more at ease when they were no longer carrying weapon that could get them a stint in lock up. A quick run over to the charter house and a piss and Tig was ready to call home . He grabbed a beer, dodged the hands of one of the eager to please girls that were on hand and headed back to his dorm, They would be sharing rooms tonight, the smaller charter house having to double up on cots in smaller rooms. He was sharing with Juice tonight and the boy was likely to be up to his eyeballs in drink for the first half of the night and Tig planned to be too drunk and too asleep to pay any attention to who he brought back to the room.
He locked the door and shrugged out of hit kutte before flopping on the bunk furthest away from thee door before pulling out his phone and calling too his voice mail. He closed his eyes as he heard a soft sigh and his voice through the receiver “Alex, hey baby, I know you wont get this until tonight but I wanted to let you know that I’ll miss you, Even when Chibs is back it not, well its not the same when you aren’t both here. Be safe daddy, I love you and I’ll miss you. When you get home i’ll be waiting on my…” he heard the sound of the door chimes as the massage parlour and Janna offering greeting before asking them if they had an appointment. He didn’t recognise the very male voice that answered but he did recognise the scream that came through the receiver followed by a smashing noise. He was frozen as he listened to smashing sounds and the sobs he knew came from his girl He was miles away and something had happened to his girl and he could do anything. He listened to the end of the message, trying to work out whether or not someone had come to help her and the message just cut off, “Fuck!” jumping to his feet he grabbed his kutte and headed to the door, he hadn’t had too much to drink and it was an eight hour drive but he could be home by morning. What if she was lying there, hurt and alone? EIgth hours was of no use. He needed to think, not just run in. Running his hand through his hair he pulled on the strands. Why had he left her alone? He could have waited until Chibs came back and then caught up with the others. Chibs! maybe he was closer. With shaking fingers he went into his contacts and made the call, pacing back and forwards. He had been just about ready to hang up and he’d odd when the familiar exasperated tone came over the line “Aye” “Chibs, how close are you to Charming?” “Tig ? I thought you were on the run” “How fucking close are you to Charming?” “I’m about 20 minutes out, I was about to get back on the road when you called. Whats up?” “It’s Janna, she left a message it sounded like someone attacked her” “Shite! Did she call you back., did you manage to get a hold of her” “Nah, I, I didn’t call her back. Fuck! I should have called her work or the hospital Fuck!” Tig could hear Chibs moving around getting ready to leave “Look you call there work, see if she’s there , then call the club house, get someone to call the hospital, I’m going to head to her work, and then I’ll call you” Chibs didn’t waste time on goodbyes he just hung up Tig dialled the massage parlour “Come on baby, pick up, pick up” all he got was the engaged tone “FUCK!”. His heart was pounding in his chest, his hands shaking as he called the clubhouse. He barked at a crow eater and then got hold of Tara who said she would check the hospital and get back to him. He paced as he waited. He couldn’t stand still, his instinct was to be on the room to head home and look after his girl, not following through on it was hell but his head knew that heading home now would cause issues for the club and wouldn’t help his girl,
If felt like lifetime before his phone rang and he scrabbled to answer it, fumbling in his urgency. “Hello” “Hey brotha” “Chibs! What’s happening! How’s Janna” “Janna’s fine. We’re back at the club house, I found her at the parlour Someone did a number on it, smashed the shit out of it,, She’s battered, bruised and scared. They knocked her out and tied her up. It’s why she couldn’t call you back, From what I could see she might have a concussion she’s got cuts and scrapes and some rope burn, but she’s whole” “Fuck! Can I talk to her man. I need to … I just need to speak to her man” “Alex” The soft broken voice came through the phone speaker and Tig was sure a bit of his heat broke “Hey baby. It’s me. how you doing” “Alex” her voice broke on a sob “I was so scared Alex, They came in and smashed up the parlour. I didn’t know what to do and I couldn’t get to the gun. They said it was a message but I don’t know what for!” He could hear Chibs talking gently in the background trying to sooth her, “Baby” his own voice was rough and he felt tears run down his own face “You listen to me, your gonna stay with Chibs ok. No matter what you guys are in the club house or if you’re out you are together. No matter what. When I get back, me and the others - we’re gonna find these ass holes and we will deal with them ok.” “Ok” “Ok baby now I love you. I need you to listen to Chibs ok. You do what ever your Da tells you and i’ll be home soon. Now can you give the phone back to Chibs baby” “I love you too Alex” She sounded better, more composed he thought as he waited for Chibs “ Brotha” “I want you to stay with her, 24/7 man I don’t want her alone, The business can stay shut. I’ll speak to the others in the morning and we’ll be home when this deal is over and done with” “Sure thing, Listen I’m gonna get Tara to check her over and then we’ll sleep here Fact is I might see if we can get all the women in on lock down. I’ll call you tomorrow” Ending the call Tig cursed and threw his now empty beer bottle at the wall feeling a little better when it shattered. The morning couldn’t come soon enough.
He had spoken with the club, they agreed on the lockdown, Jax had spoken to his mother and Tara and go things in motion. They had to wait a couple of days for the guns to be tested and they were now heading home with a truck full of drugs. They had agreed, as much as it frustrated him, that they might draw less attention travelling at night,. They stuck to minor roads, followed the speed limits and took their time, When they hit Charming city limits Jax gestured for Tig to pull up along side him. “Go on ahead brother. The rest of us can get this to the safe house. You go and see to your lady”
Tig hadn’t stopped to ask if Jax was sure, he had just nodded, gunned the engine and headed straight for the club house. As he had expected the gates to the lot were locked, it was still early and while they needed to be opened for business later in the day lockdown meant they should be closed outside of that. He couldn't see a guard so he pulled out his cell and called Chibs. “Aye” He had obviously woken the Scot up “Do you have any idea how fucking early it is Tig!’ “I’m outside, send someone to open the gates” He hung up not bothering with pleasantries. He needed to see his girl with his own eyes grab a shower and then workout who he had to kill. When the gate opened he didn’t waste any time driving straight through, a nod to the man who was currently sliding the gate shut. He was off the bike, pulling off his riding glasses and helmet as he went striding towards the clubhouse. He more or less threw the door open and headed straight towards the dorm hall, slowing slightly as he saw Chibs, rumpled and tired in a wife beater and workout pants. “Brotha, everything ok on the run?” “Yeah fine, the others are heading to the safe house” He kept moving in no mood to discuss business. Chibs stepped in front of him “Easy there, we need to talk before you head in there” Tig stared at his friend, eyes suddenly cold “Are you telling me I cant see my old lady?” Chibs huffed in annoyance “Of course I’m fucking not you dumb ass. Jesus man. Look she’s doing ok, the Doc poached her up, her concussion was minor, but she has been having trouble sleeping. She doesn’t want to be away from me, she’s followed along or stayed in the room. She’s real delicate right now brotha and asking her a heap of questions ain’t gonna help shit. Now before you go and get all shitty with me remember that we agreed that this was an equal partnership. If you want to change that, well so be it, but you don’t get to go in there and upset her even more” Tig ran his hand over his face taking a second to try and compose himself “Look man, I don’t want to change anything, but I wasn’t here, She called and I put off answering it and she needed me man!” “I know that, I do, but you going in there hell for leather it’s gonna spiral her up and create a total shit storm. L:Look we’re through in my dorm. Grab a shower and come on through. I’ll stay until your sorted then I’ll get coffee”
When Tig had come through he had found his girl, curled up asleep in Chibs' bunk. She was bundled in a blanket with her face pushed up against Chibs’ side. Chibs was dozing sat against the headboard, glasses on and the occasional snore breaking the silence. At least some of the tension that Tig felt left at the sight of his girl at peace, Knowing that her injuries were hidden he could pretend that he was just in from a run and was coming back to spend the day relaxing with Janna and probably Chibs too. He cleared his throat making enough noise to rouse Chibs, who blinked slowly as he swam back to conciseness. Chibs nodded in his direction and bent down to rouse Janna with a gentle hand stroking her hair. “Hey lass. time to wake up a bit, you have a guest” Janna had groaned and rolled over turning her back as she tried to stay asleep for a little longer. Chibs slipped out from the bed and grabbed a hoodie and his pack of smokes before heading passed Tig. “She’s all yours brotha”
Tig had flopped onto the bed jostling his sleeping old lady and then pulling her back into his body. She had grunted and he had smiled “Hey baby, is this the way you really want to greet your old man who rushed home to see you?” She had mumbled and rolled over back to the warmth he offered, before pushing herself against him. She hummed in contentment wiggling closer before her eyes started to flutter open “Tiggy?” “Hey Doll” He had been prepared for laughter, hugs, even sex, what he hadn’t been ready for was the sudden deep sob wracked her body and she clung to him as if her life depended on it. He had held her, muttered gentle soothing words, stroked her hair and rubbed her back and just let her get it all out. When she had cried herself out she was sound asleep, s he took the chance to move her head so he could look at her face and her wrists and see some kf the damaged that had been inflicted on her body. HE felt the rage burning inside him, but he would let it burn, he would let it burn until it felt like it would consume him and then he would strike and ensure that anyone who had been involved in touching her would be left six feet under the ground.   Chibs brought them all coffee and they had discussed that they would do, how best to get vengeance. They agreed to wait until after the last of drug deal was done, but then between them then would make sure that this was dealt with,
It took a couple of weeks but eventually they were free of the drugs the cartel said that the club was out and it seemed like it was business as usual Janna had healed enough that she was able to be with them both, though through mutual agreement they had been more gentle than usual, they didn’t want to trigger any bad memories.
They were scheduled to make a gun drop in O’Town to 09’ers , but there was shit kicking off with the Mayans who couldn’t seem to come up with a suitable deal with the cartel. It was making things complicated and difficult for the club, meaning more late nights and high tension. Janna had gotten better about being alone. She often waited with Gemma to allow both of her men to deal with business. To try to make things go more smoothly Jax had ranged a meet with the Mayans to happen at the same time as the gun drop was set to happen. If they could keep both groups busy perhaps things could go more smoothly.
The Old Lady’s and prospects waited at the club for news that everything had gone to plan. The men were running late. Gemma had mobilised the Crow eaters to set up for a party and set the Old ladies to cooking and pulling together a feast to celebrate things getting back on an even keel. Dinner had been ready for an hour when the first sound of engines was heard. Chibs, Bobby, Juice and Happy had ridden into the lot. Their faces had been serious and Chibs had a frustrated and worried look. He had gathered the old ladies and explained that the meeting with the Mayans had been going to plan. Chibs had been explaining different ways that they could deal with the Cartel and refusing to get the Son’s mired back into drugs when his phone had started going. He had ignored the call, then it was Bobby’s phone. then Happy’s. He had barked at one of the men to check what was happening but the muffled Shit had told him all he needed to know, things had not gone to plan with the gun drop off. Laroy had been there with his boys, they had been about to complete the trade when suddenly there were bullets flying everywhere, Of course the Son’s and 09’ers had returned fire, at first on each other, then realising that someone else was firing at them both at whom ever had opened fire. They had been making their way back to the bikes when the sounds of police sirens had broken the air. They had been cursed, detailed and now faced weapons charges and some serious time, He needed to call the club lawyers and get a defence set up. Laroy might be willing to provide some protection in Chino but as it stood they guys were going to do time.
The trail had been quick and to the point. Jax, Tig, and the other club members who had been arrested were going to do time, 3 years with the possibility of parole in 15 months if they were on good behaviour. Tig had left letters for Janna and Chibs explaining that they knew that this was risk, and that he wanted Chibs to look after her. He had explained that Chibs was to act as her Old Man in the same way as he would. He had left a letter for Gemma too., explaining their unique situation in order to smooth the way.
He was used to doing time, it wasn’t the first time but it was the first time, in a long time, that he was leaving someone special to him outside. He had taken some comfort in knowing Chibs was looking after his girl but he missed her non the less. Eventually they had been released to gen pop and cleared for visitors. He met with Chibs who had gotten him up to speed on things tithe Club, and then they had focused on Janna. She had been clingy and didn’t want to let Chibs out of her sight, but Gemma and Tara had helped. He had found that he needed to be more strict, to be in charge more in order to reduce her anxiety. She had reopened her business again and he had a prospect with her when she was out. They were living at home full time now, They rarely stopped over at the club, feeling closer to Tig when they were in their house.   When Janna had come in, dressed in a long skirt and a tight, low cut, form fitting top. She had obviously dressed dup for him and even here in lock up , he felt his heart rate pick up and his dick start to harden. “Hey little girl” “Daddy” her voice had been soft and breathy and meant for his ears only. He had kissed her gently keeping his hands where the guards could see them, before whispering in her ear “I hear you’re being a good girl for your Da” She had smiled and blushed and then they had talked about the more mundane things of day to day life. As she stood to leave he lent in for another kiss, this one deeper and with a good dose of tongue. The Guard cleaning his throat pulled then apart. He had smiled and winked “I’ve sent you a letter, I expect to hear from Chibs that you’ve done as it asks. Follow it to the letter littler girl” Her grin was like the sun after at a storm “Yes Sir” He had winked and then stood as they called an end to visiting time. Chibs had come over from where he had been speaking with Jax , his hand went to the small of her back “Come on lass, time for us to go. Be safe Tigger”
A few days later a letter had arrived and the day after that a parcel. The letter contained very specific instructions that she was to wear what was in the parcel and detailed the acts that she had to perform when wearing the items. She had followed them exactly, with no variation. She had taken pictures in what turned out to be a beautiful set of black lingerie, to send to Tig and when Chibs had gotten home they had followed through on everything Tig had written. She had written him back detailing her thoughts and feelings and sending him the pictures. She visited each and every slot they were allocated, and in-between she wrote, sometimes it was to tell Tig about her thoughts and feelings during sex with Chibs, other times it was about her day to day life. On one of the visits they had taken some time to talk about how she felt being with Chibs without him, She loved him and made sure he knew that but he could tell she was also slowly falling for Chibs. They were building a life together and it couldn’t help but rankle a bit that he was stuck in here, and not a part of what they were building. Janna had started to detail plans for them all to do things together, as well as detailing what she wanted to do with just Tig, It soothed his soul somewhat over the long nights.
Eventually they hit the 15 month mark and the men of SAMCRO were granted parole. They had a whole set of conditions, but they were to be free. The club members who hadn’t been locked up met those who had, They brought the bikes and as a single unit, Jax in the lead the men of SAMCRO had driven back to Charming. They had a club meeting, and then the celebrations started. Tig had enjoyed the first couple of drinks and shooting the shit with his brothers, but his attention had been fully diverted elsewhere when his Old Lady walked out from the dorm rooms dressed to kill. She had a short skirt, a tight top that showed a lot, bit not too much and he could just make out the outline of that first set of underwear he had sent her.
He had put down his beer, slapped Happy on the shoulder and headed her way. focused only on her. It had been too long and her letters and pictures had kept the fires burning. He had licked his lips in anticipation as he stalked forward. He made eye contact and didn’t drop it. He stood just to the side of her, letting his pinky graze her hand. “Hmm little girl look at you. I missed you. Did you miss me hmm. Your letters they seemed to suggest you did” “So much Daddy, I missed you so much. I loved the gifts you sent me, but I would rather of had you” “Really now? I did like the photos you sent me my naughty girl. but are you sure you missed me. Did your Da not look after you” “Da was wonderful Daddy, he looked after me so well, but I missed you. I missed your hand, and your mouth, al of you “ “Is that so baby doll. Well why don’t you come and show me just how much”
They hadn’t left his dorm for the rest of the night. Tig had taken her in every position he could think of. They had recreated some of the things he had written to her about and fucked like animals until they couldn’t any more.
When Tig had surfaced the next morning he had sought out Chibs “Thank you brother. For looking after her so well. for keeping her safe and loving her, and for giving me last night” Chibs had slipped his glasses off and put down the paper that he had been reading. “It’s not a thank you thing Tigger, I couldn’t have walked away, not when you weren’t here. Now you’re back and the worst if over I take it you’ll want that spare room back” Tig had looked at him puzzled “Why the hell would we want that? Chibs you know that she loves you right. What you and she have, its different that what I have with her. You not being there, it would break a bit of her heart bother, and I don’t want that for her. You and i both know that the danger will never be over. I feel better knowing that there is someone there for her, no matter what” “What are you saying Tiggy” “I’m saying I think things don’t need to change. I think that Janna is happy and she’s getting what she needs with both of us. Unless you don’t want to be further involved, I think we let her decide when and if things change” Chibs had looked relieved and smiles a little “As you say brother. So whats in store for your first day of freedom?”
The returned members had settled back into their lives adjusting slowly but surely to their freedom even with the tethers of parole. Business picked up with the gun running and a show of force was needed to help move on the Arian Brotherhood when they had tried to move into Charming. Things settled into as much of a routine as they could when your day job was an outlaw. Friday night was still club party night and Tig found himself sitting again in the club house, whisky in hand and Old Lady on his lap, her legs resting across Chibs lap. He watched as his brothers hand ran up her calf, slowly rising up to her knee, then thigh and then higher and out of sight. Swallowing down the last of his shot, he put his glass on the floor and banded his arm under her breast. His tongue flicked out around the shell of her ear and he felts ass push back into him, He hummed in contentment, his hand trailing up into her cleavage, squeezing her breast over her top. “I think someone needs some alone time with her Daddies. Look at your Da hmm what do you think baby girl?” “Yes Daddy” He waited as she slid her legs around, supporting her as she stood, catching Chibs’ eye he tilted his head in the direction of the dorms. Chibs grinned “Get a bottle of whisky and we’ll see you there brotha”
Walking into his dorm room Tig paused, whisky bottle to his lips, as he took in the sight before him. His Old lady on her hand and knees, his brother pushing into her keeping a slow and steady pace,   “We started without you brotha, but maybe you could help keep her mouth busy” Tig grinned putting the bottle down and kicking the door shut as he undid his belt buckle, All things considered he was a very lucky man.

Ft. Happy Lowman/Lexy Lowman and Tig Trager/Sissy Trager
Lexy’s POV
Both women were already asleep by the time the rain had started. Each one passed out on the couch under their own piles of blankets on opposite ends of the couch, as the opening credits to Grease lit up the otherwise darkened room. Neither had even realized they’d fallen asleep during one of their favorite movies, and they were completely oblivious to the oncoming storm.
Happy and Tig had left for a run three days before, leaving their Old Ladies at home waiting for them, but were due to return the next morning. So Lexy and Sissy had made the decision to spend the time together, vegging out on junk food and irn bru, as they pouted enjoyed their time without their husbands.
Originally, Hap and Tig had sent Ratboy and Miles to take turns watching their wives. But, in the end, the two women had scared the prospects within an inch of their lives; both men agreed that the women were way more frightening than their Old Men. Miles had jumped ship first, after accidentally suggesting the two couldn’t take care of themselves. Lexy threw a cast iron skillet at his head, which he barely managed to dodge before running the fuck out of the house with Sissy laughing madly by the stove. Ratboy proved to be of stronger stuff though, and had debated the consequences of losing his kutte—and possibly his life—if he ignored a direct order. Sissy had smiled at him then, slow and wide, showing all her teeth before she asked the prospect if he knew the effects of boiling water over a mans penis, holding up the hot kettle she was fixing for tea. If the front door hadn’t already been open, there would have been a Rat-shaped hole in it. And that was two days ago.
As a result, neither of the women had any idea that a storm was coming right for Charming, and a bad one, at that. Instead, they’d turned their phones on silent, and settled on a couple of shopping trips to Oakland, and binge watching their favorite movies that night, completely oblivious to the storm brewing outside. They had no idea their Old Men, or anyone else in the club, had been trying to reach them.
A bolt of lightning lit up the sky outside, and illuminated the room, causing Sissy to stir in her sleep. The couch was huge, as per Hap and Lexy’s demand, and was plenty big enough for both adults to sleep on comfortably, with Lex closer to the window, and Sissy being opposite it. But it was the following boom that woke both of them up.
The clap of thunder was massive, shaking the whole house and startling the redhead awake. Sissy screamed, waking Lex up as the slightly shorter woman scrambled underneath the blankets. Storms were never an issue for Lex, she loved to sleep during them, or play outside in the rain; but for Sissy, they were an entirely different matter. She was absolutely petrified of them.
Lexy scrambled towards the blankets, digging Sissy out so that she could hold her tight as she sobbed. Another loud clap and Sissy screamed again, burying her face into her friend’s shoulder in her hysterics, Lex rocking them both back and forth to try and comfort her.
Suddenly, the door burst open, making both women scream in fright. Standing in the doorway were two silhouettes, illuminated only by the streetlamp outside, and the occasional lightning flash. Lexy lunged for the end table, and the gun inside, but one of the men’s voices stopped her.
“SOS, SOS!” Tig yelled, holding his hands up in surrender. He rushed quickly over to Sissy’s side and scooped her up from Lex’s arms, cradling his Doll close.
“Give us a fuckin’ heart attack, why don’t ya!” Lex growled, throwing off the covers and wrapping them up around Tig and Sissy’s shaking forms. He was drenched to the bone, as was Happy, both shivering a little in the AC of the room, though both would deny it. “Sissy, boo? I’m gonna fix you some tea, ok?”
Sissy’s sobbing hadn’t abated yet, so she could only nod, nearly knocking into Tigger’s jaw in her haste.
Lex headed into the kitchen to fix the tea, kissing Hap softly on her way. He wrapped his arms around his woman as she stood at the stove, content to just sit and watch her take care of her friend as he looked on.
“You’re home early. Why the fuck did Tig yell ‘SOS’ when you guys burst in?”
“Mean’s ‘Save Our Sissy’. We headed out of Arizona as soon as we figured out your phones were off. Had to save our girls from this storm, didn’t we?” He grinned, nibling Lexy’s neck and making her shudder.
“So yours would be ‘SOL’, right?” She teased, pulling the boiling kettle off the burner.
“Guess so.”
“Good, it’ll have two meaning then,” She laughed.
“Two?”
“Yea, Save Our Lexy, and Shit Outta Luck.” She kept laughing as she finished fixing Sissy’s tea, and took it to the living room, shooting Hap a playful wink on the way out.
“That girl,” He growled, “She’s gonna be the death of me.”

“Yeah she's a rebel child And a preacher's daughter She was baptized in dirty water Her mama cried the first time They caught her with me They knew they couldn't stop her
She holds tight to me and the Bible On the back seat of my motorcycle Left her daddy standin' there Preachin' to the choir You see, God love her Oh me and God love her”
Laredo, Texas.
It was a long way from their sleepy little hometown of Charming, CA. It was a rare occurrence that they would travel so far, but when a friend and fellow MC connection of Jax’s contacted him about a Patch Over, they were all for making the trip.
The ride was long and exhausting, taking them a total of three days when it only should have taken them one. No thanks to the two separate bike breakdowns, a wrong turn -- courtesy of Tig -- and a couple of flat tires. Needless to say by the time they arrived, they were road worn, dirty, and in desperate need of stiff drinks and a good night's sleep.
It was around 7:30pm when they finally made their destination, pulling into the nearest Bar and venturing inside for a drink, pleased to discover that the joint also served food. Three days of living off of gas station jerky, beer, and whatever else they could scrounge up to eat on the go had left them famished. So it went without saying that they were started to get more than a little disgruntled when the waitress working the floor seemed to be avoiding them entirely.
The mousy looking blonde ducking into the back almost the second they took their seats. A few minutes passing before the doors swung open and another woman emerged and disappeared for a moment behind the bar. She was average height, petite yet curvaceous and her delicate features made her appear younger than she likely was.
Juice’s jaw nearly hit the floor as she approached their table with a tray of full of shots. She was clad in a pair of ripped dark wash jeans that hugged her in all the right places, cowboy boots, and a black, cropped, tank top patterned with white and neon green skulls; her cleavage peeking out the top just ever so slightly.
Several elegant tattoos adorned her arms and left wrist, while another one on her right hip lie hidden by her jeans, part of it just visible above the waistband.  Her dark auburn hair was pulled back in a high ponytail, and her smile radiant. The kind that reaches the eyes and makes them shine more brightly, her own a brilliant shade of blue with just the smallest hints of green; vibrant as she placed the tray on the table in front of them.
“My apologies for the wait, Gentlemen.” She apologized sweetly as she passed out the round of drinks. “These are on the house. Can I offer y’all somethin’ else to drink; maybe some menus?” She inquired with a drawl that was as smooth as the whiskey in the shot glasses before them.
“Menus would be fantastic.” Jax replied with a smile. “And a round’a whatever you got on Tap would be fine.”
“You got it, Darlin’.” She winked.
“Christ’ Juicey, quit yer gawkin’ and remove yer jaw from the table.” Chibs mused with a small smirk as he caught the younger man ogling the young waitress, eyes following her as she sauntered away to grab the requested items, her hips swaying in time with the thud of her boots across the hardwood floor.
It was hypnotizing; clearly.
“What?” Juice’s attention snapped back to reality at the sound of his name, the table erupting in a fit of boisterous laughter at his confused expression, the men settling back down as she returned to set some menus, ice cold mugs, and a large pitcher of beer on the table.
“You boys jus’ holler when you’re ready to order, alright?” She winked with a grin, hands stuffed in the back pockets of her jeans as she turned on the heel of her boot, starting back towards the bar to replace the blonde who had been working until they came in. Pausing when Jax called out after her, the men watching as she arched a perfectly sculpted brow at him, turning back to see what he needed.
“What’s your name, Sweetheart?” He asked with that signature flirtatious smile of his that made most girls swoon and go mad with desire. But she simply smiled, ignoring the suggestive nature of the question being asked, her eyes settling on Juice as she replied casually.
“Missy.”
~
A few hours had passed, the guys dispersing to mingle around the bar after demolishing the three pizzas they ordered. Juice remaining at the booth in which they had all originally been sitting, fidgeting with the empty beer mug in front of him out of boredom. Normally he might have been up mingling with the rest of the guys, ‘New town, new pussy.’ as Tig would say; but he just wasn’t feeling it tonight. So instead he sat, quietly watching their Waitress, Missy, as she tended up at the bar.
It struck him how easy going she was, how easily she conversed with the locals and other customers as she worked, like she had know them for years. Hell, she even managed to put up with Tig’s wildly inappropriate, drunken, advances and still keep a level head. It was absolutely mind blowing to watch.
“You want another one, Sweetie?” She drawled softly, pulling him from his thoughts. A sweet smile hanging from her perfect, full, red lips as she approached his table, finally able to break away from the bar as things had started to die down for the night. “Um, yeah, thank you!” He returned her smile, passing the empty mug off to her and accepting the already opened bottle she held in her hand.
“Not in the mood to mingle?” She inquired with a curious look, turning her attention to the rest of his group that were scattered throughout the bar playing pool and whatnot, before returning it back to him, watching as he shrugged lightly.
“Not really.” He chuckled nervously. “It was kind of a long trip.”
“Patch Over business?” She chuckled softly at the confused look on his face before gesturing to his Kutte.
“Oh...right.” He rubbed at the back of his neck awkwardly, suddenly feeling like the world biggest idiot as he glanced up at her, reassured by the warm smile she gave him in return.
“Sorry, I should’ve clarified.” She replied, gesturing to the seat opposite him with a questioning glance before taking a seat as he nodded eagerly. “The Road Reapers are really the only crew in these parts, save for a few rival gangs; but Joey and his crew are good people. He’s been talking ‘bout the Patch Over for a while now...so I assumed when I saw your Kutte’s that you guys must be it.”
“Makes sense.” He chuckled before taking a swig of his beer.
“Missy.” She introduced herself personally to him as she extended her hand across the table, earning herself a ridiculously goofy, yet adorable, smile as he accepted the gesture; some of his nervousness fading as he replied. “Juice.” “For real?” She snorted a small laugh, her own smile growing, her hand still grasping his as she waited for a response. “I-- It’s a nickname.” He shrugged, rubbing at the back of his neck again as he withdrew his hand finally, taking another sip of his beer. “I like it.” She smiled warmly. “You have a real name to, though, I’m assuming?”
“Juan.” He nodded with sheepish grin. “Is Missy short for anythin’?”
“Maybe.” She quirked a smile at him as she pushed herself out of her seat, standing to pull a pack of smokes from her pocket. “But that’s for me to know and you to find out.”
Juice watched as she crossed the room, disappearing behind the bar where she grabbed a leather jacket and shrugged it on, waving at the other waitress who had come out of hiding and instructed her to watch the bar for a bit, her eyes meeting his again as she paused beside his table.
“You’re more than welcome to join.” She gestured toward the back entrance, shaking the pack of smokes in her right hand, grinning as he grabbed his drink and climbed out of the booth to follow her outside.
Silence hung between them as she sparked up the cigarette that hung from her lips, offering Juice her lighter as he searched for his own only to come up empty handed, tucking it back into the pocket of her jeans as she leaned against the brick wall behind them; exhaling a trail of smoke into the night air.
“So…” Juice cleared his throat, earning her attention almost instantly as she fixed her blue eyes on him intently, his nerves suddenly returning as he looked away quickly and took a long drag from his own cigarette. Trying to pretend he didn’t notice as he watched her out of the corner of his eye, shift and turn towards him as she waited for him to continue. Juice turning to give her a curious look after a minute or so when she started to chuckle softly.
“Sorry, it’s just-- I’ve never met a shy biker before.” She apologized before taking another drag from her cigarette, tilting her head to the side as she looked up him through dark lashes. “Y’all are usually so outgoing.”
“Yeah…” Juice chuckled a little as he stared back at her. “This is a little new, for me.”
“How so?” Missy asked with a curious look.
“I dunno. I guess I’m just not use to having a woman be so forward...normally it’s the other way around most of the time.” He replied with a shrug, watching the grin that tugged at the corners of Missy’s lips as she nodded at him.
“I can see that.” Her blue eyes gleamed with amusement as she studied him closely, shifting to step closer as the breeze picked up a little. “I’m little forward sometimes, I apologize.”
Juice gave a soft chuckle and shook his head. “No, it’s cool. Little change of pace never killed anyone.” He said. Missy smirked and nodded as she huffed out another puff of smoke. Missy eyed him as he took a drag and glanced out over the town, giving a small smile at all the lights and neon signs that knocked him back to the 90′s a little.
“Have you ever traveled out this far before?” Missy asked, taking another drag as Juice turned to her. He turned down the corners of his mouth as he gave his head a little shake.
“Not really. I mean, I’m from Queens, but never really made it down South.” He said. Missy nodded and glanced down, kicking a random piece of broken glass away as she asked,
“Is it hard being away from your old lady?”
The way Missy glanced up at him, a sweet, yet coy smile perched on her lips, blinking out from under her long lashes, Juice couldn’t hold back a similar sly smirk as he shifted a little closer and said, “Not really...Since I don’t have an old lady, yet.”
Missy couldn’t stop her smirk from spreading as she dropped her cigarette, stamping it out with the toe of her boot.
“Oh? No one who can handle the life?” She teased.
“Nah...not yet at least.” Juice shrugged.
“Guess those Cali girls must be pretty soft then, huh.” Missy chuckled sarcastically as she leaned in a little closer. “But then again, us Texas women are different breed.”
She watched as his brown eyes darted from her own gaze down to her lips and back, starting to lean in himself when the back door to bar flew open with a loud BANG as it slammed against the brick wall. A small chuckle left Missy’s lips as Juice startled backwards a little bit at the noise, turning to watch as the rest of his group filtered out back.
“There you are, we’ve been lookin’ all over for ya man.” Jax spoke up with a grin as he swaggered over towards the pair, hands shoved in his pockets.
“That’s my fault.” Missy grinned, giving a small shrug as she shoved her own hands into the pockets of her jacket.
“No worries, Sweetheart.” Jax replied. “We should probably get goin’ though since we still need to find a place to crash. There any good cheap motels nearby?”
Missy snorted at the question, raising an eyebrow at the blonde who in turn, gave her a questioning look. “Cheap and Motel are two words that do not belong in the same sentence.” She replied.
“You got a better idea?” Jax chuckled lightly, watching as Missy glanced up to the second story of the small brick building that housed the bar they stood outside of.
“Got a couple vacant rooms upstairs.” She replied casually, watching as Jax glanced around to the rest of his group for their approval. Earning a collection of nods and shrugs before turning his attention back to Missy.
“That’d be awesome...if it isn’t any trouble?” He replied.
“None at all.” Missy smiled kindly as she made for the door.
“How much?” Jax asked as they stepped back inside, surprised when Missy waved the comment off as she stepped behind the bar to fish out a set of keys.
“No charge.” She shook her head in reply. “The Son’s are always welcome here.” The comment earned her a plethora of confused looks from the group of men that stood before her, watching as she rolled her eyes and turned, reaching up on her tiptoes to grab an old picture that hung above the register.
“My real Dad, he fought in Nam with some of the Original 9. Was part of the Charter up in Tacoma for a lot of years until he went Nomad. Bounced around quite a bit after that till my Mom managed to get him to settle back here in Texas.” She gestured around the room they stood in as she laid the picture on the bar.
“He built this place from the ground up...”
“No fuckin’ way?” Jax stated as he picked up the picture off the bar to study it, recognizing it immediately as one he’d seen in some of JT’s old things.
“He had one golden rule back then, that the Son’s were always welcome in this establishment, no matter what. I made sure that stayed in place after he passed and I was old enough to take over...my Mom wanted nothing to do with it after she left him and remarried my Preacher step-daddy.”
“You’re a Preacher’s daughter?” Tig’s voice inquired, his interest suddenly peaked as he appeared at the front on the bar. Missy simply rolled her eyes and ignored his pervy antics as she brushed the comment aside.
“And after she died a couple years back, the Bar fell to me, as instructed, per my Father's will.” She gave a small sigh as she took the photo of her old man back from Jax and returned it to its rightful place above the bar. “So as I said before, y’all are welcome, free of charge for however long you need.”
“Well, we really appreciate that.” Jax stated with a kind expression.
“Don’t mention it.” Missy smiled as she stepped out from around the bar, reaching up to grab the rope that hung from a small bell that hung from a wooden pillar, giving it one sharp ring to catch everyone's attention. “LAST CALL!”
“C’mon, I’ll show you boys upstairs.”

Prologue
And I swear it's the last time And I swear it's my last try And we'll walk in circles around this whole block Walk on the cracks on the same old sidewalks And we'll talk about leaving town Yeah we'll talk about leaving I swear it's the last time And I swear it's my last try
I scuffed my sneakers along the ground as I walked down the familiar streets.  I’d grown up in Charming, in all it’s small-town glory.  Where the same barber had cut the same people’s hair the same way for the past 30 years; where the same lady had poured the same coffee in the same diner; where Police Chief Wayne Unser knew everyone, and most of their business too.  I didn’t dislike the people of Charming, but I hated this dead-end town.
I walked past the barber shop, Floyd waved hello with his ever-resent scissors, I raised my hand in greeting.  I passed the cigar shop, Lumpy’s gym and the liquor store.  Crossing the road to avoid Scoops, I shoved my hands into my pockets and hunched my shoulders.
“Kitten?”
In my attempt to be inconspicuous, I’d failed to notice Tig walking towards his bike on my side of the road.  I froze, tensed and ready to bolt;I hadn’t heard that particular pet name in what felt like an age,
“Ali, baby is that you?”
My shoulders sagged as I signed,
“Yeah, it’s me.”  I kept my eyes fixed on the pavement as I turned round.  Tig hadn’t changed either; scuffed boots, straight-leg jeans and one thumb hooked over his belt-buckle.  The other hand was gesturing towards me from what I could see in my peripheral vision,
“You’re back,” he sounded shocked, halfway between a statement and a question.
“Only for a few days, then I’m outta here again,” I explained. “See you around, or-you know-not,” I turned to walk away and he reached for my arm,
“Baby,” I looked up at him, though my sunglasses hid my eyes, “It’s been so long, don’t run,” he pleaded softly.
My words got caught in my throat,
“Tig, I-I can’t,” he looked so hurt.  I couldn’t just walk away again I told myself.  I grabbed his arm and dragged him into an alleyway out of sight, “look, meet me at my old house.  I’ll wait for you,” I owed him an explanation.  He nodded quickly, “Tig, don’t tell anyone else just yet,”
“Yeah, no of course not.  I’ll be there baby,”
He could hardly tear his eyes away from me, as if he was scared that I would disappear the moment his back was turned.  After the way I left, I couldn’t blame him.
I waited for ten minutes to make sure there was no more movement and hurried back the way I came.  It was a stupid idea to wander round in broad daylight like this and expect not to be seen, but I had to satisfy my curiosity.  Nothing changed.  Not in Charming.
The all-too familiar Harley Davidson was parked in the driveway. The all-too familiar biker stood leaning against it, arms crossed against his chest and legs stretched in front of him.  A finger and thumb smoothed his goatee thoughtfully as I approached.  I walked past him wordlessly and he fell into step behind me as I unlocked the front door.
This conversation was not one I wanted to have in the open.

A Song for You
AN: I am beyond sorry its been so long. The second the holidays started I was in a whirlwind but I'm back and ready to keep going. Here is the new Chapter hope you love it.
Chapter Eighteen
Joy POV
She hadn't seen her husband since they both got to work this morning, he was currently underneath a car while she was double checking some appointments for later today and filing that still hadn't been done by Gemma. It was a fucking wonder this place lasted with her behind the filing. She was putting some files up when the door to the office opened, without turning she speaks “Take a seat I'll be with you in a moment.” She drops the files on her hands when she hears a Scottish brogue reply “Take your time Lass.” she turns and sees Chibs grinning at her, practically leaping over the desk chair she hugs him tight. “Jesus fuck Chibs I was so scared!”  the older man hugs her close kissing the side of her head in greeting as her husband rushes in at the sound of her shouting. “Babe you…..” she pulls herself from Chibs, seeing the wide grin on her husband face she gets out of the way just in time for him to hug Chibs himself “Jesus Chibs.” She rubs her husband's back, she knew Chibs meant a lot to Juan, she was glad he was back home. Once they released the man hug of the century she grabs Chibs face in her hands, looking him over “What happened.” the older man huff out a laugh, grabbing one of her hands he kisses the back of it before stepping out of her reach, nodding towards the clubhouse. “Want to wait until the others are here, put up the break sign or get one of the prospects in here.” she watches him go, she and her husband locking eyes. This wasn't good if the whole club needed to know. “Go clean up. I'll grab our lunches from the clubhouse.” Juan nods, pressing a kiss to her cheek he heads for the bathroom in the office to clean up.
It's not twenty minutes that she and Juan are having lunch at the picnic tables with Tig, Chibs, Bobby, Phil, and her father. She kept having to swat at her father and Tig as they stood bites of her chicken and rice, when her father steals another bite she hands her food to her husband for protection while she smacks at her father's arms as he hides his head from her blows. “It's your mom's recipe what do you expect little girl!!!” she glares at him as she grabs her food back from her husband. “ I expect you to ask you heathen. You too Tig don't think you're off the hook.” she feels a tap on her shoulder, seeing Chibs glancing between her and her food she arches a brow “May I have a try lass?” she sighs, hold out a spoonful for him she glares between her father and Tig “See. Asking helps.” She goes back to eating as Chibs nods. “Pretty good girlie. Make that for dinner one night and I'll swing by.” She takes her last bite and nods, hearing a bike pull up she sees Jax, she hears her father get up as his phone rings she moves over so he can head for the ring behind them to talk to whoever was calling. She grins as Jax pulls Chibs in for a hug “The prodigal Scot. Oh, man. Thank God you're alright, man. What happened?” she leans into her husband's side, resting her head on his shoulder as she listens to Chibs “Frankie, he dumped me out on the 99. I really thought he was gonna put a bullet in the back of my head. Some trucker found me. Check this out.” she watches him pull his paperboy hat from his head, hissing between her teeth when she sees the glimmer of two staples in the long scar on his head. Frankie was worm food. “Did you see anything Chibs? Anything we could use to find him?” turning to her he lights a cigarette, blowing the smoke upward he shakes his head in the negative “Too dark lass. But it looked like a White SUV. I couldn't see plates, faces. But it's obvious somebody's helping him.” She sighs, resting her elbows on the table she racks her brain, but with so little info that was given to her through the paperwork she was given by Frankie, it wouldn't be easy to sniff him out. She turns to Bobby, “Seems to be heading north, maybe breaking for Canada.” sounded plausible, she almost jumps out of her skin when her father plops down next to her, seeing his face and the evil grin on it she narrows her eyes “Try Tahoe. Just talked to Quinn. He found Frankie.” She smirks, leaning over she plans a kiss on her father's cheek, snickering when he tried to scrub her lip gloss from his cheek. Even Jax chuckled as he said  “Well, let's go. Come on, let's move to church.”
Standing she follows behind the others, her husband's hand on her hips as he walks behind her. She and the others quickly grab their seats, seems she wasn't the only one itching to get her hands on Frankie. She gets comfortable between Phil and her husband, rubbing her hand up and down her husband's back as he leans his elbows on the table, his whole upper body almost hunched over the table. He was just as ready as she was to see Frankie bleed. Her eyes land on her father as he speaks first “Quinn says Frankie's in South Tahoe. Hooked up with Leo Pirelli's crew.” She scuffs, couldn't even hide on his own. Jax nods, a hand coming to scrub roughly at the side of his beard jaw “He's bought himself some mob protection.” all eyes move to the older man at the end of the table as he says “Is that solid intel? 'Cause I'm a little cautious when it comes to Nomad integrity.” she wanted to throw one of her knives into his eye socket, the Nomads were his errand boys and a good few of them knew it. Her father's eyes narrow at Clay “Quinn knows every pimp and hooker in a 300-mile radius. Frankie still likes them young and slanted.” She narrows her eyes at Tig and he snorts “Yeah, pussy tells all.” she kicks him under the table, a smirk of satisfaction on her face when he winches and reaches down for his shin. “Ok unloyal pussy tells all better?” she nods and turns her attention to Jax, who shakes his head at the both of them “All right, give him a call when we break. Tell him we're on our way. Make sure it's real.” she watches her father nod, he had his role to play. She glances past her husband's still hunched form to Bobby “Leo runs book and poker clubs. It's a quiet crew, man. Maybe Cacuzza could reach out, explain our situation. Do this the easy way.” She doesn't look at Clay as he replies “Yeah. I can call Jimmy.” Her husband sighs, leaning back in his seat he grabs her hand, his fingers playing for with the rings on her hand as he asks the question they all want to be answered. “ What happens when we find Frankie? Because frankly Jax I want his fucking head for what he tried to do to my wife.”
She lifts his hand, not caring if the guys see her kiss his knuckle. Juan wasn't the most blood thirty out of this group, but she knew he needed this. Chibs nods “I agree, we cut his head off.” Jax's leans forward on his elbows, his gaze bouncing between Juan and Chibs. “First we press him on the attacks, find out who's calling the shots.” She nods, lacing her fingers with Juan's “I agree, I want him to die buried to his neck in shit but I want the person holding his fucking leash.” Tiggy slaps his hand on the table “Then let's vote this shit.” She watches Jax as he looks at everyone at the table for a moment “Okay, we all know what Frankie did to compromise the club. Vote's got to be unanimous. All in favor of stripping his patch.” the sounds of agreement were deafening, not one person at this table would stand for that man having redwood on his cut for another day. Jax's face takes on a darker note as he locks eyes with her “As far as Mr. Mayhem goes, let's hear pros and cons.” Tig scuffs, drawings Jax's eyes from her to him “He tried to kill you. That would be a pro.” She will give Jax his dues, she knew he wanted the man dead but he was also being a president and level headed when he said. “We only got the word of a non-member.”
Clays voice down the table makes her tense, ever since Frankie had confirmed she had been right all she wanted was to crawl down the table and his throat out with her teeth. “ Gogo and Greg tried to kill Unser. Nomads were on a spree.”  all eyes turn to Chibs “ Yeah, and he shot Lyla, tried to whack me, and admitted to being the one who shot Joy. Frankie's made his bed, Jackie.” she rubs her husband's forearm as he grips her hand, she knew Juan still hadn't gotten over that night, she knew it would take a while for him to forget that feeling of not know if she was alright. Jax's eyes lock with hers for a moment, sometimes she wondered why he gave Bobby the VP patch when it seemed he still looked to her for some things, she nods slightly, it needed to be done. “ Okay. All in favor of Frankie Diamonds meeting Mr. Mayhem.” everyone voted in favor, Frankie's lifespan just shrunk down to hours as Jax slams down the gavel with a resounding crack.
She lets her husband practically drag her from the room by her hand as they all head outside, her mind is so focused on Frankie and how this would end she doesn't hear Juan's voice until he waves a hand in front of her face. “Hey. Come back to me. You ok?” She leans into his hands as they cup her cheeks, she rests her hands on his sides as his eyes sweep over her face “I'm fine just over analyzing. I'm ready for him to be gone.” she can't help but smile up at her husband when he plans a kiss to her forehead. “I know. Now the real question is are you riding along with me or solo. You seemed ok this morning without your pain Meds but this is an hour or so out.” she takes a hand from his side and rubs over the slowly fading bruise under her black shirt. “I'm alright. Tender to pressure as always but as long as I'm not doing a workouts like you do I'm good.” she smirks up at him as he rolls his eyes, she gasps as he yanks her closer by the back of her neck, the kiss he gives her makes her toes curl in her shoes. As he pulls back her lips chase his, much to his amusement. “Crack jokes about my work out habits all you want baby girl but you like what it does.” She snickers and smacks his stomach, making him grunt, she pulls two hair ties from her wrists, holding them up to Juan she turns around and lets him start to tightly braid her hair back. She sees Tig watching them, an amused grin on his face, he opens his mouth to say something but he catches the glint of silver on her hand, realizing she was holding a throwing knife. She waits until he locks eyes with her to wink, yeah fucker try it. Fucking cut your tires, the blue-eyed man pouts at her before yelling. “Your no fun doll.” she snickers and shoves the knife back into her thigh holster. Once Juan is done with her hair she runs to the office to grab her emergency ride bag she keeps there. Seeing Gemma she lets her know what had already he handled today and runs out to the bikes. Phil and Rat would be trailing behind them in the van, with Clay riding as well she would be taking up the rear between her father and Husband. Getting her customary kiss from her husband they take off not long after.
It had been so fucking long since they had just ridden together. This was what she used to dream about when her father would tell her about the club, wide open road. The rumble of their engines like a storm it's halfway in that they stop for a leg stretch and bathroom breaks. She is inside grabbing some waters for the guys and a few lollipops for her sweet tooth while Juan tops off their tanks, she heads outside a grape lollipop already between her lips as she walks up to Chibs who was laid out on his bike, she lays a water on his stomach before taking two waters out off the bag for herself and Juan. Chibs peers up at her, chuckling she arches a brow. “What's got you giggling?” he smirks “With the Lolli stick hanging out of your mouth it looks like a toothpick. Ya look like you Da.” the guys circled around grin, she remembers something, looking around she catches sight of her dad, she whistles to catch his attention. Reaching into her back pocket she holds up a small pack of toothpicks she got inside for him, tossing them towards him she grins when he catches them with ease. Sending her a nod in thanks before turning back to his conversation with Rat in the van driver seat. She shrugs as the rest of the guys laugh “Dad is easy to shop for. Toothpicks, beer, and condoms.” She giggles as Juan's forehead rests on her shoulder, her hand patting the side of his tattooed scalp as he tries to get his wheezing laughter under control.
She sees Phil glance over her shoulder, turning her head she sees him watching Clay who had just come from the bathrooms. The what he was rubbing his hand let her know he was regretting his choice to leave his shot at home. Juan having composed himself rests his chin on her shoulder as Clay passes them “How they doing?” Clay shakes his head, moving to lean against his bike behind them “I should have brought the cortisone.” Yes, he fucking should have, she even packed her pills, even if she felt fine she might not later. Jax comes over, his eyes narrowed on Clay “You good?” she lets Juan moves her so they are facing Clay, her back against his chest. Resting her head back on his shoulder she twirls the Lolli in her mouth as Clay replies “Lungs holding up, it's my goddamn hands.” Jax glances between the van and Clay before replying  “Hop in the van with Rat. Let Phil ride it out.” she knew it sucked to tap out. But Clay needed to be more realistic, bring your fucking meds if you needed them. Everyone started to get on their bikes, pulling the Lolli from her mouth she kisses Juan snickering when he grins “Mmmm grape.” She shakes her head and heads for her bike, turning to Tig when he swats at her leg. “Got any more?” she heaves a suffering sigh and holds out her treasure trove of lollipops. Letting him pick before she puts them away. These men would be the death of her, from a bullet wound or mental break she just didn't know which.
An hour or so later
Pulling up to the poker club she sees a very tall son waiting for them and for a second her mind flashes to Opie, she shakes it off walking up behind Jax as he greets the taller man “Quinn it's good to see you man.” she tilts her head back to look at him as he smiles down at her. Seems he was another gentle giant. “Well seems the rumors of the smallest son to wear a patch are true. I'm Quinn it's great to meet you Sonshine.” She grins, holding her hand out for him to shake, she finds herself a few feet of the ground in a tight hug before she can blink. “Careful hun. I'm not one hundred percent.” he drops her onto her feet. “Sorry. I'll remember next time.” she chuckles, letting her husband grab her hand, pulling her behind him and the rest as they head inside. Looking around she gets a feel of the place, very backwoods casino. She liked it, hanging onto Juan's arm she follows behind Jax, narrowing her eyes as a man steps up to their side “Hey, what do you guys need?” Jax pats the man on the shoulder “ We're just looking around, big fella.” Jax's swiftly moves past the man, who turns his attention to herself and the guys, his fingers pointing towards her cut.“Yeah, we're a quiet place. Gotta do it without the patches.”
She arches a brow, her arms crossed over her chest as she replies “Take it easy. We're just here to see Pirelli, okay?” the man steps closer into her space, she places a hand on her husband's chest, stopping him as he moves to step in front of her, she hated cheap forms of intimidation. Staring up at the bald man before her she curls her lip as he replies “Call his office and make an appointment Peaches.” She can't help but snort, fucking peaches? Wow how cute. She is about to rip his throat out with her teeth when Jax's voice bounces off the walls of the room, making them all turn to watch “Leo! You made a bad mistake helping Frankie Diamonds, man.”
She watches as Mr.Clean moves towards Jax, placing his hand on her president's chest. Shoving him back towards the guys “All right, out. Move!” she sidesteps Jax's backward falling body. Snatching up a bottle from the table she uses it to crack the extremely tall man upside the head, sending him crashing to the floor. All hell breaks loose as he gets back up Snatching her up by her cut he holds her again the wall “You crazy bitch!” she snarls and kicks him between his legs when he lets her drop she clasps her hands together making one large fist she swings at the side of his jaw. She doesn't stick around as he goes down, seeing Juan was ok she looks for her father, finding him and another man flying through the air and onto a table she winches as the table breaks. Running over she throws herself onto the man's back as he punches her father, wrapping her arms around his neck she leans back. Using all her body weight she starts to choke him out. The noise around her as come to a grinding halt but she refuses to release her hold on the guy who was now squirming in her arms for freedom. She only let's go when Jax snatches her up by the back of her cut “Enough Sonshine!” panting she leans into her husband and he moves to stand behind her, her father moving to her side as he glares at the man trying to catch his breath on the floor. A man stands before them, she guessed he was Leo. “What the hell is wrong with you guys? Somebody sneezes, your little cocker spaniel here throw a fist? How do you get any business done?” she smirks, her eyes on the man currently nursing a bloody nose “Mr.Clean next to you dropped his pants first.”
Her husband's chest rumbles as he chuckles, the bloody and bold man takes a threatening step towards her “Aw, screw this” She moves to meet him but her husband's hands on her arms and Leo's voice stop her “Hey, hey! Enough. Enough! Okay, so you got my attention.” Jax moves in front of her with sigh “Frankie Diamonds. Leo, we know you're helping him get out of the States.” she couldn't see past Jax large frame, but the condescending tone of Leo's voice made her roll her eyes “ You don't know shit.” Jax finally moves so she can lock eyes on Leo as Jax speaks lowly, but just loud enough for the few close enough to hear. “You know, Frankie Diamonds stole half a million dollars from me and my associates. He's using our cash to bankroll his exit. If you think we're noisy, wait till the cartel and the IRA come knocking.” she bites down on her lip as she tries not to laugh, that sneaky son of a bitch. She leans into her husband and she giggles out “Machetes, grenade launchers and AK’s oh my. And you think I'm a pain. They can spill a few stacks of chips.” She winks at Leo as her husband rests his forehead on her shoulder, she could feel his chest shaking as he tries to suppress his wheezing laughter. The larger man Quinn pats her on the shoulder as he passes by to speak to Leo “We just want Frankie.” Jax's chuckle makes her glance his way, the look on his face was a touch on the teasing side “You can even keep the cash.” She smirks as Leo finally grins, turning away he stops before turning back to Jax “Make a call. Follow us. But if you're telling me a story, kid, this ain't gonna be such a beautiful, sunshiny day here in the splendor of the lakes. You understand?” she can't help but reach over to swat at Jax's arm closest to her as he replies “Not exactly, but I think I get the point.”
She watches him go with a grin, smart ass. She and Juan let the others pass by, leaving them to follow in the back as he walks behind her, his hand coming around to rest his palm flat against her stomach and he whispers “You ok?” She turns her head, presses a kiss to his jaw “I'm fine Juan. Sore but nothing I'm not used to handling.” He narrows his eyes for a second but nods, kissing her temple as they get to their bikes. Following behind Leo and his guys as they pull out the drive isn't long it's just a lot of back roads, she almost swerves into another lane when the sound of a huge explosion booms through the mountains like thunder. She sees Jax's head pop up as he stands on his bike to look at something before he is peeling around the SUV and taking off at high speed, takes the rest of them half a second to do the same when they see the smoke from the mountain. She had broke formation and got closer to Jax, she would catch hell for it later but she wasn't gonna miss Frankie, fuck that for a joke. She pulls up next to Jax as they both catch sight of the van she quickly races past Jax for the door, yanking out her glocks she aims them at Clay who had a shotgun aimed at Frankie “Drop it Clay or I drop you!” Jax's rushes in behind her, gun aimed at Clay as well “Not yet Clay.” She side steps from the door, never taking her eyes off Clay, or her guns as the guys file in one by one. She can't help but smirk as Chibs lays his hands on her shoulders as he passes, talking to Frankie over her head “Frankie. Miss me?” she sees Leo and his boys file in from her peripheral as Jax's speaks to Clay “Lower the shotgun now.” for a second Clay looks like he might just say fuck it, she hoped he would but sadly he had some sense, lowering the shotgun he looks at Jax, the next few seconds are so fast she still can barely remember them. All she hears is Leo's low curse and the sound of gunshots, she watches Frankie drop as one hits him between the eyes, she turns to Leo as he stops, it takes her husband and her father to drag her out as she screeches, trying to bum rush the man. “You stupid son of a bitch!!! HE WASN'T YOUR KILL HE WAS MINE!”
She struggles as her father wraps his arms around her middles, pinning her swings arms to her side she yells as Juan grabs her face. “Joy enough! Look at me. Stop before to pass the fuck out BREATH!” She stares at him, her chest heaving as she feels tears of rage stream down her cheeks and over Juan's fingers. She feels her body shaking as she tries to calm her racing heart and mind. It's a good ten minutes before she can speak without yelling. “I'm good. Let me down dad.” her father kisses the back of her head before he drops her on her feet, moving past her he plants another kiss on the side of her head as he goes back to the cabin. Leaving her alone with her husband, looking up at him she swipes at her tear stained cheeks, looking up at him with a watery smile “I bet I look like shit.” Juan chuckles softly, his hands coming up your cup her face as his thumbed swipe under her eyes. Wiping away the Mascara that had smudged in her rage, she rests her hands on his sides as he presses a kiss to her forehead. “There. Just as beautiful as the day I married you.” she snorts, her hand rubbing up and down his sides “If your trying to sweet talk your way into my pants…..keep talking it might work.” he husband chuckles, his beefy arm wrapping around her shoulder as he drags her forward into his chest. The smell of weed smoke and body wash makes her tension melt away, she slides her hand around his back, her hand digging his back pocket as he tries to move away “The fuck you doing!?” she smiles into his chest as she finds what she was looking for, pulling back she holds up the case of prerolled blunts he always had and wiggles it “light up time?” He shakes his head but grabs it anyway, she goes back to her place against his chest, hugging him tightly as he lights up over her head. With her ear against his chest, she can hear when he takes his first hit, the blunt appearing in front of her face as he passes it to her. Finally pulling back from the warmth of his chest she sees the fuss heading their way, she inhales deeply as Jax gets to her, his hand on the back of her head as he locks eyes with her “You good sis?” she shrugs, a sad smile on her face as she blows her smoke off to the side. Handing the blunt to Juan, as Jax talks to Quinn behind her “do you have a truck or something we can borrow? To haul Frankie back?” she watches Clay standing off to the side with Rat, she takes the last of the blunt from her husband, inhaling all of it she holds it as Quinn replies “Yeah I got you.” she tosses the blunt to the dirt stomping it out she blows her smoke out as she speaks, the guys going quiet at the tone of her voice as she speaks to Clay directly. “Wanna share with the class how you got here before us?”
She doesn't flinch as Clay stares her down through his shades for a moment before replying “Cacuzza. He called me as you guys were pulling out. Me and Rat boy here wanted to check it out before we hit you up.” She doesn't take her eyes off Clay as Rat speaks “We wanted to make sure it was real.” she nods slowly, the feel of a hand on her shoulder makes her tense until she hears the voice attached “Well guess what. It was. Come on. Let's go home.” Her eyes following Clay as he turns to walk to the van, Jax's hand clenching her shoulder in silent support letting her know, I see him too. She reaches up and pats his hand as he moves away and towards the cabin to collect Frankie's corpse. Sliding her sunglasses on she moves away from the others, and away from the still smoking cabin she finds a nice rock formation near the lake and climbs on top of it. Curling her legs up to her chest she stares out onto the oddly still lake, as she stares she tries to figure out what is next. She had been so angry looking for proof of the Nomads and finding the shit stains who killed Opie that it was all she felt for a while, sure she had overcome her issues and fears regarding her and her families mortality. But she was slowly coming to the realization that she was always angry, or maybe the best way to describe it was her anger never died down it simmered under her skin and she was so tired of it. Now that Frankie was dead, that chapter closed. She wasn't sure where to focus that anger she held before and that worried her, the last thing she wanted was to lash out at the guys or worse, Juan or her dad. They still had Opie's killers to look for but she had long ago told herself that she couldn't hold anger for that even though it still hurt to know he was gone, all she could do was just serve justice for her still living boys.  She jerks when she feels arms slide around her shoulders, but once she got sight of the reaper set against the deep sepia skin of the left forearm she knew it was her husband. Leaning back against him she closes her eyes as he presses slow, lazy kisses from her ear to the collar of her shirt. When she turns her head to returns the favor. “Want to tell me what has you sneaking off? Needed a minute?” she rests her forehead against his cheek, her nails dragging back and forth over the reaper on his arm as she tries to figure out how to say this right. “I was so ready for today. My anger was at the surface and I was ready to take that human skit mark back to Charming, grill him and dump him in a ditch after. But now I'm left feeling. I don't know if empty is the best word.” She struggles for a moment, her husband grabbing her hand rubbing his arm, pulling the hand to his mouth he kisses her fingers before speaking.
“I get it. You had so much anger. And have had it since Op died and then this added too it. Now when you thought you were doing to get an ending you wanted it was stolen from you and your anger is confused now. Frantic and searching for a place to put it all.” she nods, staying quiet as Juan continues. “But baby that's not healthy to stay that angry all the time. You have to take away the fact that it wasn't you who killed him and think on the main point, he is dead now. He can't hurt any one of us anymore. And Joy If you need to do something with it. The anger I mean. tell me. You and I can go in the backyard with Sonny and play it off or hey, come out on Saturday with me and your dad to work out, yoga is all well and good for you but this might help more.” she thinks for a second, he made a good point. Shifting she grins up at her husband “Look at you. My incredibly smart and thoughtful husband. I like that idea working out, and we can bring sonny with us, he loves the clubhouse.” She smirks, her hand snaking up his hard chest to the back of his neck. Yanking his head down she brushes her lips over his softly as she speaks, her eyes heavy-lidded from the weed and her voice taking on a smokey quality “And seeing you sweaty and shirtless is never something I will pass up seeing.” His grin is wicked as he leans down, closing that last centimeter between their lips to kiss her deeply. She would never get tired of his kiss, the brush of his warm tongue along her bottom lip as she lays back onto the hard stone below them, his body hovering over her as she grips the back of his neck with both hands. The sound of laughing doesn't hit her until she opens her eyes, she can hear the voices finally “I don't think Juicy boy stands a chance. She will detach her jaw swallow him whole, you watch.” She finally pulls away from her husband, tilting her head back she sees an upside-down Chibs and Tiggy grinning at them. “Do either of you old pervs have nothing better to do?” she pets her hand down the back of her husband head as he laughs into the side of her neck. Tiggy walks over to them, Chibs following behind, Chibs help Juan off of her and Tiggy helps her down from the tall formation. Grinning as he wraps an arm around her shoulder, leading her towards the bikes “You know I'm always down for a live show.” She shakes her head and sighs, only the men in her life. She would be grey by thirty-five.
A few hours later
Once they had gotten back to the house it had been peaceful, they had stripped down to their night clothes well before the sun was down but they had the rest of the day to do absolutely nothing. Then right before dark Juan decided to take Sonny on a run with him, something about needing time to think about what's up next. She didn't stress him, he would tell her his thoughts eventually when he finally caught up to them. That had been an hour ago, Juan had texted her saying he was on his way back so she was currently getting dinner ready when the doorbell rang. Grabbing her Glock from the kitchen island she slowly walks to the door, peeking out the hole her shoulder drop and she sighs at the sight of Roosevelt. Opening the door wide she grins. “What can I do for you?” he holds up a file. She waves him inside, locking the door behind her knowing Juan had his key to get in. She lets him follow her into the kitchen as she checks on the broccoli she is steaming as she talks over her shoulder to him. “Thanks for the file. But I doubt it will be necessary.” She knows he is staring holes into her back, once she is done tossing the spices into the chicken in the pan she has before she turns it down a little and turns to face him. “Got a call an hour ago. Frankie Diamonds was found in a ditch, multiple gunshot wounds to the face and torso. Something you want to tell me, Ortiz?” She can't help but smirk, always the cop. “First off, cut the cop act your sitting at my kitchen island and I'm in my pj’s it's not even remotely intimidating. And secondly no it wasn't us sadly.” She turns, grabbing the tongs on the counter she flips the chicken, giving it a dash of her pre-mixed seasoning before turning back to face Eli. “We were there though. And another person who isn't a son shot first I'm just as pissed as you are, trust me.”  she crosses her arms over her chest as Eli rests his head on his folded arms on the counter, it's quiet for are moment, the sounds of the  food cooking the only thing you could hear before she breaks the silence again.
“I wanted to pull the fucking trigger. So I get how you feel man I do, but Juan said something today that made me see reason. He is dead Eli. The man who tried to kill me and your wife and unborn child are dead. I know you as a cop want to see them rot in cells but for me…..this is enough. And both of us have people we love to watch out for, so we can't waste time dwelling on what could have happened.” she hears the front door lock tumble, turning her head she can't help but smile as her husband and dog rush in. Watching him kneel down before sonny, she can't help but sigh. Even after a year seeing him so happy and open makes her heart go soft, she hoped in years to come it wouldn't stop happening. Once Juan had finished taking the harness off sonny he made his way into the kitchen, panting he leans against the doorway as he eyes the man sitting at his counter. Opening the fridge she gets him a tall bottle of water and tosses it at him, smirking as she says “He isn't gonna explode if you stare at him hard enough Juan.” her husband narrows his eyes and walks over to her to kiss her cheek, she wrinkles her nose as his sweaty chest brushes her arm. “You stink. Go shower dinner is almost ready.” he chuckles, pressing another kiss on her cheek he nods to Eli on his way out. She grins as Eli shakes his head “I need to head home. Rita is probably worried.” she nods, walking over to cabinet she pulls out a container of cookies, handing them to Eli she smiles. “Rita seems to like these. My mom's recipe. Tell her hi for me.” Eli nods, heading for the door he stops and turns to her. “I need your statement still. write it up and drop it off, please. Maybe tomorrow?”
She nods and watches the man leave, feeling somewhat better about the day. Juan had been right, she and Eli both needed to let go of their anger in this. The deed was done and for now, both their small families were safe, heaving a tired sigh she turns back to dinner. Pulling the chicken out of the pan she sets it to the side, Juan would be out soon then they could finally eat.
Next Morning
She had risen early, normally Juan was the one to rise before her but she guessed everything from yesterday and his hour run after had wiped him out. She had quickly let Sonny out into the back yard before he could start making enough noise to wake Juan before she set about making a nice breakfast. But before she can start her phone starts ringing, seeing Jax's name on the screen she arches a brow, putting in on speaker she grabs the eggs and other stuff from the fridge. “What's up buttercup?” the man in questions tone made her know this wasn't just a social call. “A little much to talk about over the phone, you good to have visitors?” she silently curses and then sighs “Yeah. Who's coming so I know to make enough food for you strays I have apparently adopted.” that gets a chuckle from the man on the phone before he replies “Just me and Rat boy. And you and Juice.” She nods, sorry Juan duty calls you from slumber it seems. “I need to wake him so let me do that first and get some go go juice in my man.” they both say goodbye and hang up. Putting the foodstuff to the side she heads for the bedroom, leaning against the door she watches her sleeping husband for a moment. He looked so peaceful she honestly wanted to let him sleep but she had no choice.
Walking over she carefully slides in on her side of the bed, sitting against the headboard she combed her fingers over his Mohawk as she calls his name softly. “Juan, wake up baby.” She watches with a soft smile as he turns in his sleep, his arms reaching out for her. She lets him wraps his arms around her waist as his head comes to rest on her lower stomach. She gently traces his tribal tattoos as she speaks again. “I know you're tired handsome but Jax called. He and Rat are coming over to discuss something.” She giggles as he groans, his face turning to rub back and forth over her stomach as he shakes his head. His voice deep and underused as he speaks into her shirt. “Why are they coming here at ass o'clock in the morning anyway?” she snorts, sliding down in his arms so they are holding each other under the warm covers she kisses his stubble covered jaw “It's hardly that early Juan. It's eight in the morning.” he groans against, his face hiding in her neck, the scratch of his stubble making her laugh. “Exactly. Ass o'clock.” She swats his arm, trying to wiggle from his iron grasp, trying not to smile as she realizes she is stuck. “Juan Carlos get up. I need to make breakfast and let Sonny back in and you need to get dressed and have your wake up mix or your gonna be a boar when the guys get here.” she thinks he is asleep again until she hears him curse lowly before rolling onto his back to stare at the ceiling, slowly Blinking sleep from his pretty brown eyes. She sits up in bed, looking down at him to make sure he is going to stay awake when he looks over at her and grinning she knows he is ok. Leaning over she presses a kiss to his nose before sliding out of bed she walks over to her side of the dresser, pulling on some old sweats she turns to leave, only to see her husband's smirking face watching her from the bed, she couldn't help but laugh “Your such an ass man.” she watches him stand, biting down on her lip as she catches sight of his toned body in nothing but black boxers. He walks over to her, kissing the top of her head he smirks  “And your no better about me.” he swats her on the ass, making her yelp. Before she can retaliate he is out of arm's reach and closing the bathroom door “Coward!” his wheezing laugh is the only reply she gets before she heads back to the kitchen, a small grin on her face.
It's not twenty minutes later that the Jax and Rat stroll in, she rolls her eyes as they park it at the kitchen island, grinning boyishly at her as she pours both of them cups of coffee. “Only two men can grin at me like that and get away with it. One is in the living room the others is not here. So drop the shit and start talking.” She pulls the eggs and turkey bacon off the fire, setting three plates out she goes about making them as she raises her voice so Juan hears her over his movie. “Juan come on breakfast.” She hears him groan, narrowing her eyes at the backsplash in the kitchen she yells again. “Juan Carlos you have seen Spaceballs twenty fucking times in your young life. And you will see it twenty fucking more.  it's not changing any time soon now get in here!” the men behind her snicker but when she turns with their plates in hand and a glare on her face they quite quickly. She only loses her glare when Juan comes into the kitchen, an easy grin on his face. Standing by her side he goes to make his plate seeing she already had that and his morning mix done he grabs her jaw. The turn her face he pecks her lips quickly before moving to sit next to the guys, she sips her cold brew slowly as she watches them. “Start talking guys. I didn't plan to get into work headspace this early so I'm a bit of a grouch.”
Jax and Rat share a look before Jax nods, swallowing his mouthful of food he speaks “Rat came to me this morning. Apparently, Rat-boy here got a few words from Frankie before he died.” She sets her cup down, picking up her bowl of sliced fruit she nods for him to continue. “Apparently Frankie told Rat that Clay was behind the Nomads attacks. And that Clay told them to steal the safe but here is the thing, Clay made them give him back all his legal papers.” She smirks around her mouthful, swallowing she wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. “If we find the papers it proves Clay knew or at least had some part in this shit. Because the police never found the safe or the papers so how would he have them otherwise. Which would also call into question his involvement in the attack on me and Rita, the home invasions, the dead nomads. Christ Jax, we got him.” Jax shakes his head, making her frown “Not yet. We need those papers. Rat said he would look, and I'll talk to Miles myself since him and Rat boy are Clays, main watchers. Once we have those papers though yes. We just might have Clay.” Once business was off the table breakfast went quickly, the guys leaving them to get dressed. She is pulling her jeans over her hips when her husband's arms slide around her bare stomach from behind, leaning her head back she smiles as he kisses her jaw. “Can I help you sir?” she can feel him smile against her shoulder, his arms holding her a little tighter. “Just wanted to hold my wife for a second.”
She feels her heart melt a little, turning in his arms she stares up at her husband, all hard lines and head tattoos. But his eyes are soft, she wraps her arms around his back, under his so he can wrap himself around her. Laying her cheek on his chest she lets him rock them for a moment, their life was so fast-paced and hectic that silent moments like this one were so precious to her. When he tries to move away she doesn't release her grip on him, looking up at him she pouts. “What no sugar from daddy?” the eye roll she gets makes her snicker, but his smile lets her know he finds her just a little funny as he pecks her lips. “I'll be ready in ten then we can ride out. Got some paperwork that needs doing at the shop and I have our lunches set aside for later.” he nods and heads into their closet. She sent up a silent prayer as she pulls on the rest of her clothes, let no son die today.
A few Hours later
She was watching her father and Juan talk across the room as she finished the last of her lunch. He had stayed in the office with her for an hour, talking to her about working out on Saturday when Juan had come to remind her it was lunch time, after that her boys had branched off to let her eat in peace. She is shaken from that peace as the last spoonful hits her lips, Tigs hands coming down gently on her shoulders, she tilts her head to look up at him. “Prospects called. They got Hightower.” She drops her spoon, one of Opie's killers. Getting to her feet she whistles to her father and Husband, both of them at her side in an instant when they see she is checking her backpack of goodies behind the bar. “What's has you checking your bag of tricks little girl.” she loads a clip onto her Glock, stashing a few others into her tiny backpack as she replies without glancing at each of them, still elbow deep in the duffle before her. “Prospects got one of the guys who killed Opie. I'm getting ready for just about anything.” her dad is gone before she finishes the sentence, probably heading up to the dorms to do the same. Juan stays by her side, his hand held out as she hands over a few of his own clips and guns he had stashed in her bag. “So much for a slow day huh.” Once she had the bag packed full she put her weapon duffle back in its place by the bar, turning to her husband she lets him see how shaken she is.
He doesn't hesitate to wrap her up in his arms, she leans heavy into his chest “It's ok baby. We will get them all for this. Opie's death won't go unpunished. And remember, even if you don't pull the trigger yourself. It's still enough.” she leans her head back, her husband's lips meet hers in a feather-light kiss. She soaks him in, his warmth, his scent, the taste of him on her tongue. She pulls back, giving him a sad smile “I love you Juan.” he nods, resting his forehead against her he closes his eyes “I love you too Joy.” they both head for the door as her father joins them not a minute later. Heading for the bikes she is slowly, brick by brick locking away her worry, her pain, the image of Opie as well goes behind that wall. She knew this would be a touchy one. She had to remain level headed because from the faraway look in half the guy's eyes she knew level heads would be hard to come by today.

As they pull up she feels an off sense of deja vu like she had been here before at some point, standing she makes sure her guns are strapped tight and her small bag on her back isn't flying off at some point. Walking over she catches the tail end of Jax's and the prospects conversation. “....there are bikes in the back. Tricked out shit.” She arches a brow, another biker gang. She starts heading towards the club, ignoring the rest of the club as they call for her in low whispers. Fuck this pussyfooting she wanted answers, making her way around the club she curses violently at the sight of the bikes before her, Jax and the others aren't too far behind when they catch sight of the bright orange bike, Grim Bastards. It would fucking have to be them wouldn't it, nothing could be fucking simple. She moves past the bikes and into the club, she is halfway to the bar when she is spotted by T.O. She quickly slaps a grin on her face as he and his men make their way towards her and the other son's. “Well if it isn't the Princess of Samcro. What brings you to our side of town?” she lets him pull her into a hug, letting him say hello to Jax and the others. Feeling Juan's arm slip under her cut she leans into his hand, trying to draw some sense of comfort as Jax's speaks to T.O. “I'm looking for someone. Guy called Randall Hightower.” T.O’s face goes from Civil to hard in seconds, she narrows her eyes as he replies flatly “Why you looking for him?” she moves to stand next to Jax, her arms crossed over her chest “He killed Opie when they were in County. I don't like the look on your face T. Spill.” the man before her starts to fidget, almost two years with Bikers you learn they don't like to see an angry woman or be the blockade in front of one “He hired us to protect him. I didn't know it was from you.” she smirks as Tig rests his arm on her shoulder he leans forward to speak “Well, we'll be buying out your contract as of now.” something else is up, she arches a brow as T refuses to meet her or Jax's eyes “ Ain't that simple. He's my cousin. We came up together.”
She is about to open her mouth to raise hell when it decides to break loss without her, she hears someone shout Randall and gunshots, she is yanked down to the ground by Tig, his body shielding hers as three shots rang out she shoots up, catching sight of the large man going out the side door. Cursing she shakes off Tig as he tries to grab her and she books it for the front door, Jax and Bobby not far behind. She is standing in the road when she hears the sound of tires, seeing a Blue SUV she starts shooting, Jax standing at her side as they rain gunfire. They are both yanked from the street by Chibs as Randell almost hits them, she tries to aim for his tires but she gets the back passage door as he knocks into one of the guy's bikes, causing them to domino into one another. She screams her rage to the sky as she stands at Jax side, she combs her hands through her hair as her Husband runs to her side. She waves him off, she needed a second, moves back a few steps, his eyes watching her closely as she pulls the now empty clips from her guns to replace them. She finally looks up at Juan, walking over she grabs his jaw, yanking him down she presses a hard kiss to his lips before quickly pulling away. “I need to keep this anger a little longer. I love you.” he nods, grabbing the wrist of the hand holding his face he yanks her hand off of his face to kiss the back of it before running off to check up with the others.
She is starting off in the distance as the sons and bastards crowd around each other she can hear the guilt in T’s voice. “we had no idea Randy was involved in Ope's death, man.” she grinds her teeth as Jax shouts, looking to her a child in every sense “Well, now you know! Where do we find him?” she watches T scrubs a hand over his mouth, a look of remote washes over his face like a flash before he locks it down. “He's blood, man. I can't just turn him over. There's gotta be something we can work out.” she finally has enough when Jax practically screeches, his arms flailing “ Like what, bro?! How are we gonna make this right?!” pushing off the wall she plants her hand on the center of the tall blonde man's chest, walking him back as she walks forward. “Give us a sec T.” She gets a few feet away and shoves harshly, Jax's glares down at her as Tig hisses through his teeth “Well, isn't this just a bunch of bullshit. Let's just find Fat Albert and cave his skull in.” She turns her glare to her father when he speaks his agreement “Second that.” both of her hands reach out to smack both men's heads with a satisfying thud. “Both of you chicken heads shut your holes. All your doing is feeding into the frenzy this albino gorilla in front of me is currently in.” turning her gaze back up to Jax “Don't act like your the only fucking person here to take a much-owed pound of flesh. The only difference between us at the current moment is I'm thinking through my anger and none of you assholes are. So please get on my fucking level or leave.” Bobby stands at her side, his hand on her arm as he talks “Kids right. For 20 years we have had relationships with these people. The Grim Bastards have always backed us, always. Maybe we need to look for a compromise.”
She curls her lip as Jax's shoulders by her, she had no issues calling anyone out on their bullshit, he should know that by now. Turning she stands towards the back with Juan and her father as they return to the Bastards “There was a couple of other guys with your cousin when they took out Opie. Why don't you let us talk to them? We'll get those names, throw him a beating, but we'll let him live.” T’s eyes move between her and Bobby, he knew at one point she had been VP, she knew what he was asking. Keep Jax honest. She nods and T locks eyes with Jax once more “All right. I'll track him down. I'll let you know.” she lets the tension drain from her shoulders, leaning back against the brick wall she slides down to sit, pulling out her pack of cigs she lights one, sliding her sunglasses on she watches Jax take off with a shake of her head. He saw Opie die, him, Chibs and Tiggy saw the whole damn thing so she could understand to a degree the rage. But Opie wouldn't want this club to go down in flames because of his death. She would keep her promise if it fucking killed her.
She doesn't look over as two bodies move to sit down on either side of her, she keeps her gaze straight even as Tigs head comes to rest on her shoulder, his curls brushing her cheek. “Going to Ignore us forever kid?” she leans her head on top of Tigs, a sad smile on her face as Chibs does the same to her other shoulder. “Not forever.” She hears Chibs light another Cig as she tosses the butt of hers into the street. “We understand where you're coming from lass. We know you made a promise to Op. But you need to understand where we are coming from.” She lifts her head, sliding her glasses a little down her nose she turns to look at Chibs as he gazes off to the side. She feels Tig grab her hand, playing with her rings and nails, her heart clinches as it reminds her of Able. “We saw that giant bastard open Opies skull with a lead pipe lass. While we banged on the glass until our knuckles went numb and bloody each one of us left a part of us in the dark, dank room with Op.” She swipes at her cheeks below her glasses, not looking away when he lowers his glasses to lock eyes with her. “Don't Judge us too harshly for what we do as the half men we currently are. We need you girl, more than you know to guide us.” she nods, licking her suddenly dry lips “Your my boys. I'll always guide you. But you make it so hard sometimes.” She closes her eyes when Chibs kisses the side of her head before he stands. Looking up at him she sees he is grinning down at her “We wouldn't be yours if it was meant to be easy.” watching Chibs walk off she raises her none captured hand to come through Tigs wild curls, her eyes finding her husband across the street. His eyes watching her from the shade, he tilts his head, she knew he was asking if she was ok, she nods, a small smile on her face. Now all they had to do was wait.
And the wait wasn't long, apparently, Jax had gone to meet with Pope about Charming Heights and got a nice tidbit of information out of the meeting as well. The boatyard, that's where Randell was hiding. Part of her was suspicious of how Pope knew that but she had come to realize this was Pope's town, they knew charming like the back of their hand, makes sense he would know his turf. Pulling up to the boatyard she sees the bastards bikes lined up near the car Randell almost ran her and Jax down with. Pulling her helmet off she sees T.O heading their way, a look of guilt and shock on his face. Standing next to Jax she arches a brow as T.O speaks “How did you know we were here?” she watches Jax as he replies “A friend. You remember what those are? Don't you?” oh please. Enough with the melodramatics, she sighs “Where is he T?” the man looks down at her, his shoulders slumped a bit “I'm trying Joy. I can't convince him that you won't kill him. I talked to him about Opie. The order was from Pope to take out the guys in county. The guards grabbed Randell for his size it was the guards who set up that kill. You know what it's like to be hired muscle joy.”
She did, you don't ask questions, do what needs to be done to survive. But she wasn't Prez or VP anymore, she had no say in what happened today. She feels a hand on her shoulder as Tig speaks over her head “so who were the other guys.” T doesn't look away from her as he replies, she knew he was trying to appeal to her better nature, but honestly, after her talk with Chibs and Tig, she didn't know how she felt. “He didn't even know them.” Jax, sensing her unease stand a little in front of her breaking T’s line of sight with her “Let us hear that from him.” T sighs, his chin meeting his chest as he scrubs a hand over his bald head in frustration. Looking back up at Jax he replies “I need your word.” She places her hand on Jax back, he back was like stone under her hand, hard and unmoved as he replies “Yeah. Sure.”
She follows behind Jax as T leads them down to the boats, a flash of red makes her look up. She curses a Randell makes a run for the building, she is shoving past the guys as T yells for his cousin to stop. She shoves the two Grim members who had been with Randell to the side as they try to slow her down. He wasn't getting away again if she could help it, she pulls out her Glock as they make it inside. Seeing Randall aiming at her and the guys she shouts “Put that shit down!”
The taller man yells back “Back off your trying to kill me!” she curls her lip as Jax moves to her side, his gun aimed “No man we just want to talk to you.” she nods, lowering her gun slightly she lets T pass her “They gave me their word Randell. They want info, not your life. Put the gun down man.” she watches him put the gun on the floor, keeping hers in her hand she walks over slowly, her eyes on his hands as he bends down to grab it from the floor. Handing it off to T. She watches Chibs and Jax as they stand next to the giant of a man. “Who else killed our friend?” she feels Tig move to her side, he needed to be closer to this. She got that, Randell sighs “One guy, his name was Aldo. Smith, I think. Other guys, I just knew their first name. Vox and Mace. That's all I know. I swear.” they had names, that was enough for her to do a search, she sees Chibs say something to Jax but she can't make out what. She feels Tigs hand on her arm as she watches Chibs move behind Randell his silences gun blowing out the back of Randells head. She can't process as guns are drawn, she aims both of hers at T, moving away from Tig she stands between T.O’s gun and Chibs and Jax, he wanted them dead he would have to mow her down first. “Jesus Christ! What is this shit? Jax, you gave me your word, man!” she can feel the heat coming off Jax in waves as he places his hand on her shoulder, moving around her to face T on his own “And so did you. You said you were gonna deliver him. You didn't.” everything is still for a moment, she can hear everyone breathing for a solid minute before T lowers his gun, she goes as well. She feels a flood of cold in the pit of her stomach as T speaks to Jax “Who the hell are you?”
She doesn't know how they got back to their bikes, she is digging around in her backpack once she finds what she needs she forces Chibs to sit on his bike so they are level with each other as she wipes the blood from his face with napkins she keeps for situations like this. She didn't know how she felt yet about what they had done, the bond that was now broken between the Grim Bastards and SamCro. But she knew, right now at this moment that she needed to make sure her family was ok. Once the blood was all gone she grabs a lighter and sets it on fire, no evidence. She doesn't say anything as they all get on their bikes, what can anyone say in a moment like this? The ride back was smooth and quick, her mind never stopped moving, even when they made it back. She feels Juan at her side as he wraps an arm around her, his lips kissing her temple as she watches Bobby chase down Jax “Jax. Jax wait!” she sees Jax turn to Bobby as the group catches up to them she hears what Bobby is saying “You just shit on two decades of brotherhood. What you did back there was wrong. And it hurts all of us.” Jax looks off in the distance for a moment, his eyes lost in something before he turns to Bobby with a new focus “You know, you might be right, but you didn't see the pleasure in that animal's face when he caved in Opie's skull! We did!” she gets between the two men, her hands on Jax's chest, making him look down at her and not focus on Bobby, she tilts her head towards the picnic table and Jax goes without a word. She feels Bobby move around her to head into the clubhouse.
Staying where she was, she breathes deeply to shake the Image Jax painted when he yelled. Her heart still broke for her living men, no one should see a friend die, let alone the way Opie went out.  she sees a mass of black leather come into her eyesight, she glances up at Tig as he pats her shoulder before looking past her to Jax “I'll go talk to him.” everyone files inside, her husband and father included. She might not be VP anymore but she refused to leave Jax's side like this, he was still her brother. Turning she sees Chibs and Jax watching her, she slowly walks over to the little bit of space left on Chibs side and straddles the bench so she can see them both clearly. As Chibs pulls a pack of Ciggs from his pocket she holds out her lighter to him as he speaks “We did what we had to do, Jackie.” He turns to her as he hands her lighter back once he lights his cigg “I know your off balance lass but you know it had to be done.” she nods, she knew it did but the way it happened could have been better. Jax leans forward, he elbows coming to rest on his knees as he looks between the both of them “I know. Things are gonna get bloody, guys. I'm not sure if Bobby's gonna be able to roll with that. I need to know that I have you both in my corner. I need you both or I'll get lost.”
Her eyes well as she stares at her club brother, Chibs stands seeming to tumble through his own thoughts before tossing his half finish cigg way and turns back to Jax “I've always been there, and I always will. Come here.” she watches Chibs as he stares Jax in the face hard for a moment as he stands before the older man. “I love you, kid. Understand?” Jax nods as Chibs grabs his face, kissing his cheek and bumping his head against the younger man he turns to her, holding his hand out she grabs hold, letting him pull her to her feet she crashes into his side as he wraps an arm around her shoulders, kissing the top of her head. “I love you to girl. I'm gonna get cleaned up.” She pats his back and watches him head inside. Turning to Jax she sees him watching her, turning to face him she gives him a tired grin, her hand coming up to cup his cheek. Watching a very small smile appear to match hers she pats his cheek roughly. “I want to be angry but I can't because I have no idea what you all saw that day in county. It changed something in the three of you I might never understand. But I'm not going to duck and run. I love you all too fucking much to do that. You all will break my heart more times then I'm going to be able to count I get that now, but I will always be right here for you. To yell, to comfort and nurse you idiots. Don't doubt that brother.” he nods, yanking her forward by her cut he holds her tight for a moment, his cheek rested on the top of her head. They would make it through this shit she refused to let it happen any other way.
Later that night
After her talk with Jax, she had buckled down at the shop for a few hours to lighten the load for the next day. Gemma had been around more which helped tremendously, she hoped this was the first steps of Gemma getting her shit together. She had told Juan to head home when he was done and she would meet him there, she needed to drop of her statement to Roosevelt at the police station before heading home and honestly that had been just as draining as she had thought it was going to be. It had gone from running in to drop of her statement to sitting down and going through it and honestly she was tired of having to remember it and picking at it. She was ready to move on. Pulling up to the house she felt her body already losing some of the tension as she sees the porch light on and the living room light shining through the break in her dark curtains. Getting off her bike she makes her way to the door, opening it she expects to find her husband on the couch, asleep or playing one of his many games but when he isn't there she is surprised. She hears the sound of sunny claws on the wood floor, kneeling she wraps her arms around the excited pit with a grin. She scratches his head with both hands as she speaks softly to him. “Hey, my handsome boy. Sorry I haven't been hanging with you much. I'll bring you to work one day this week. Get you out and about. Deal?” she holds her open palm out to him, giggling when he hands her his paw, pressing a kiss to his head she narrows her eyes as she looks around. “Wanna help me find daddy? Sniff him out for me boy.”
She grins when the pup licks her cheek and takes off for the backdoor. Putting her stuff on the side table by the door and sliding off her boots she follows. Seeing the fairy lights on she pushes open the door, letting sunny charge into the yard to play for a minute, when she turns she sees her husband at the outside table, food covered and a smile on his face. She had to bite her lip to stop the wave of emotion as he stands, making his way over to her, she curls herself into his chest as he wraps his arms around her. She inhales deeply as the scent of his body wash swarms her, her hands move to grip his shirt on both sides. “I got your text about being held up with Eli. Thought I would go ahead to do the cooking and did the laundry for you.” she tilts her head back she smiles up at him. “I can tell I'm married because the words ‘I cooked and did laundry’ got me weak in the knees.” he chuckles and shakes his head, looking down he sees Sunny at their feet, letting her go he kneels down and pets over sunny’s  head as the panting dog licks his cheek. “Dinner time pup.” he looks up at her as he continues “Food is still hot. Finished about ten minutes before you pulled up. So all we need is drinks, grab those while I feed him?” she grins, grabbing his face as he moves to stand she pulls him closer, pressing her lips against his she melts into him as he yanks her closer. Pulling back he grins, his brow kicked up “What was that for? Not that I'm complaining.” She smiles, her hands rubbing his shirt covered sides “For being up handsome. Just for being you.” His smile losses the teasing edge as he stares at her, leaning his head down he kisses her forehead before turning to go into the house. She saw the raw emotion before he did though, her husband still wasn't used to being praised, but until the day she died, she would get him used to it.
AN: Hope you liked it. Let me know your thoughts and I'll see you next time.

What’s the Point?
Kozik x OFC (Tawnie Trager)
Request by Anon: Can I make a request for Kozik please? Based on the song Illicit Affairs by Taylor Swift - the lines ‘don’t call me kid, don’t call me baby, look at this godforsaken mess that you made me’ have a hold on me. Maybe something with her being a member’s family/daughter/sister and have to hide from the club. Some angsty goodness but a kind of happy ending if you can!
Warnings: language, angst
Word Count: 2.2k
A/N: I read this and immediately thought of Kozik and Tawnie, so I hope you don’t mind that that was the pairing that I went with! All the other fics I’ve written for them have been so light and fun and a little chaotic because of who she is as a person, so this was a really fun switch-up. I was only able to handle the angst because I know that it’s all gonna work out in the end 😂 Hope you enjoy! (Other Kozik x Tawnie fics can be found Here)

Running around behind the backs of everyone had been fun at first. There was a type of rebellious adrenaline that coursed through her veins each time they scampered off to his dorm during or after a party. Sneaking out of the house without alerting her father late at night to head to his place became a game of its own. They were like a couple of teenagers, thinking with everything except their brains.
As the days went on, though, a quiet but incessant voice began to pop up in the back of her mind. She’d be shimmying back into her shorts in his room, or taking her boots off just outside the front door of her house so she could get up the stairs quietly in the small hours of the morning, and that’s when she’d hear it. When there were no other distractions, no hormones or need for doing the opposite of what she’d been told, it didn’t seem quite as fun anymore.
Tawnie was many things, but stupid wasn’t one of them. She knew full-well why she and Kozik were keeping things between them a secret. It wasn’t like either of them were seeing anyone else, it wasn’t anything quite so scandalous. But she knew that he was on thin ice as it was with her father, and if he found out about the two o them everything was just going to implode on itself.
When the waves of loneliness began to flow over her while she crawled into her bed, one that felt so empty now, she couldn’t help but to wonder if it would really be as bad as they’d made it out to be in their minds.
It wasn’t like she was the type to be afraid of disagreeing with her father, or with anyone else for that matter. This felt different, though. It wasn’t about the prospect of a fight between her and her father, or rather, it wasn’t just about that. She didn’t put emotional stock in much, but she people she cared about, she cared about with everything that she had. Being in the position of having to let go or be locked in permanent arguments and tension with either Tig or Kozik wasn’t someth9ing that she wanted. For the sake of the bubble that she’d created, she kept her mouth shut. But it was getting exhausting.
“Kozik?” she watched him from the bed in his dorm at the clubhouse as he pulled his shirt back over his head.
“Yea?” his face was still flushed, a gleam of sweat still on his forehead.
“You ever think about, you know,” she wasn’t a woman who had the word nervous in her vocabulary, but she found herself fussing with the edge of the blanket, what we’re gonna do?”
“Do about what?”
“Us. This,” she gestured between the two of them.
His brows knitted in confusion, “What do you mean?”
“I mean, I don’t wanna have to sneak around forever. I like you, and I’m sick of trying to fucking hide it from everyone.”
He sighed, nodding, “I know.”
“So, now what?”
“I just,” he ran his hands back through his messy blonde hair, “I don’t think now is the right time, T.”
Her laugh was completely devoid of any humor, “Then when is gonna be the right time? You’re patched back into Redwood—you’re here for good. Not like my dad can take that away from you now. Why bother keeping this a secret?”
“I don’t expect you to understand it, Tawnie, but it’s not that—”
“No,” she cut him off as she got up from the bed, “Don’t do that. Don’t talk to me like I’m some fucking kid, like I didn’t grow up in the middle of this club. I know how it works.”
“Then you know why it’s complicated.”
“It’s really not, Koz. If I’m not worth the work to you, don’t waste my fucking time.”
She quickly pulled her shorts on before blowing past him and out of his dorm. He called after her as she stormed down the hall, pulling her shoes on in the process. Anger gave her tunnel-vision, and she didn’t even notice that Juice was walking in the opposite direction. He saw the look on her face and he was about to ask her what was wrong when her shoulder abruptly slammed into his. He wasn’t even upset about it, knowing that it wasn’t really on purpose.
“Hey, you okay?” he asked.
“Fuck off,” she called back over her shoulder. However, as soon as the words left her mouth, she felt guilty. Stopped in her tracks, she took a breath before turning around to face him, “Sorry. I didn’t mean that,” she shook her head, “Shitty day.”
He nodded, “Need anything?”
Her smile was half-hearted but as genuine as she could muster, “Nothing you can give me, unfortunately.”
“Okay,” he studied her face for a moment, “Sorry.”
She chuckled, “Me too.”
There were a few beats of mildly uncomfortable silence before she gave him one last sad smile and kept on going, her anger quelled but only for the moment. Juice watched her walk away, wondering if there was something that he should be doing or saying, but he didn’t know what. It wasn’t like the two of them were overly close, but he still cared.
She was gone and out of sight when Kozik came back out of his dorm, looking frustrated but not nearly as rageful as Tawnie had. Confusion flashed all over Juice’s face as he tried to figure out if the two things had anything to do with each other.
“Hey,” Juice figured the worst thing that could happen is that another person would tell him to fuck off, “you talk to Tawnie?”
“Yea, why?” Kozik’s brows immediately furrowed.
Juice shrugged, “I don’t know. She just blew past me and seemed upset. Super pissed off.”
“It’s a Trager thing,” Kozik tried to downplay it, “They all get heated like that.”
Juice wasn’t sure that he bought it, but he also didn’t have any evidence to prove that anything else was the cause of her bad mood, “Okay.”
That night, when everyone was partying into the small hours of the morning, Tawnie and Kozik found themselves on opposite sides of the clubhouse. They hadn’t spoken to each other since their argument that morning, and she was very good at ignoring people when she put her mind to it. She hardly even spared a glance in Kozik’s direction unless she was talking to someone who was near him.
He hated how much it stung. She spent most of her night near or behind the bar, a good way to stay busy and also away from him. If anything, it felt like he spent more time staring at her than usual, or maybe it just felt that way because this time she wasn’t always staring back, looking at him with a smile already on her face.
He couldn’t hear what she was saying, but he saw the way that she waved Happy over and gestured to the door. The man gave her a nod, and she flashed him a smile, giving him a light squeeze on his forearm before heading towards the door to the clubhouse. Once the door swung closed behind her, Kozik was immediately up out of his seat and making his way over to Happy.
“Hey, Hap,” he tried to seem as casual as he could, “Where’s Tawnie taking off to?”
He nodded towards the door, “Said she was heading home early—didn’t feel good.”
Kozik nodded, rapping his knuckles against the bar, “Right. Thanks,” he tried to walk quickly, but not too quick to close the distance between the two of them.
She was just getting to her car on the other side of the parking lot. She was shaking her head, and Kozik could only imagine what she was thinking in that moment. Taking a deep breath to try and prepare himself, he half-jogged across the lot to get to her before she could sit down in her car.
“Hey, Tawnie, wait a second.”
Whipping around, anger settled onto her features once more, “Wait for what?”
“I’m sorry,” the apology was genuine, but it still felt empty when nothing was going to change.
“Good to know,” her jaw clenched but she could feel the lump building in her throat.
“Come on, don’t do this.”
“Do what?”
“Push me away.”
“What’s the point of letting you in if this is going anywhere?”
That hit him harder than any punch ever had, “You don’t think it’s going anywhere?”
“Not if we have to keep fucking lying,” she was trying not to yell, but it was difficult.
“I just need time to figure it out.”
Shaking her head, she told him, “There’s nothing to figure out, Kozik. We either start taking this seriously, and tell them,” she gestured at the clubhouse, “Or I’m just going to cut my fucking losses now. I hate,” she blinked hard, staring up at the night sky in an attempt to drive back the tears that were building in her eyes, “I hate that I let you do this to me, that I let you make me like this.”
“Like what?”
“Like a goddamn mess! Like some pathetic girl just waiting for a guy to say that he really does love her. It’s bullshit. I won’t do it. I’m not going to wait around and beg. You can either choose to do this for real, or we can just end this right now. I’m not spending forever in limbo because you’re afraid of those guys in there.”
“What, and you aren’t afraid of what Tig is gonna say?”
“I’ve dealt with my dad my whole life. I can handle him. You need to decide who you’d rather piss off more—me or him.”
The statement hung in the air for a moment before Kozik took a deep breath and replied, “I’m sorry, T. I know this isn’t fair to you.”
“You’re right,” it was the first thing she’d agreed with him on all day, “It’s not.”
“Can we talk about it?”
She scoffed, “What’s there to talk about? You either want to keep treating this like some fucking affair, or you want to commit and actually do this.”
“You know I want this.”
“Do I?”
His heart sunk inside his chest, “You do. You know that I care about you. If you thought that I didn’t, you wouldn’t have wasted any of your goddamn time with me.”
She knew that he was right, but she didn’t want to cop to it. Gnawing at her bottom lip, she tried to figure out what to say, “I don’t think that I’ve wasted my time. But I think it’s going to turn into that if I don’t make it clear that for this to work we gotta step the fuck up and really do this.”
He nodded, “Okay.”
“Okay, what?”
“I don’t want you to feel like you’re wasting your time. I don’t think that this,” he reached and gently held her hand in his, “is a waste of time.”
“I don’t want it to be,” she watched as his thumb traced over her knuckles, “But the amount of shit that I’ve had to lie about over the years for this club, because of this club, I just,” she shook her head, “I don’t want this to get added to the list.”
“Do you trust me?” his eyes were desperately searching hers.
She paused for a moment before finally nodding, “Yea, of course I do.”
“Then don’t bail on me. Please.”
“Give me a reason not to,” her voice that was usually loud and carried across rooms, now fell softly into the night air, “Give me a reason to think that this is going to get better.”
Pulling her close, he caught her lips in a kiss. She knew that she should’ve wanted to pull away, not give him the satisfaction, but she just couldn’t do it. Kissing him always felt like calm in the middle of the chaos, and calm wasn’t something that she came by often. Her hands gently cupped the sides of his face as he leaned into her, pressing her back against the side of her car.
When he pulled his lips off of hers, he let their foreheads come to rest together, soaking up the fact that her hands were still delicately holding his face. Her thumbs ran lightly along his cheeks as she let her eyes shut.
“We’re gonna figure this out, Tawnie. I promise.”
She gave a slight nod, “I wanna believe you.”
“Then do it,” he pulled back so he could look her in the eyes, “Believe me.”
Her heart pounded inside her chest. Everything that she knew about what it meant to love a man in the club was telling her to turn around, get in her car, and cut the cord with him for good. But she’d always been someone who loved a challenge, who thrived off betting on the longshot. If there was any shot at them making it work, she didn’t want to lose it, not when the payoff could be one of the greatest things she’d ever had.
“Don’t make me regret this, Kozik. Please.”
“You won’t,” he pressed a hard, quick kiss to her lips, “You won’t.”

The Crow and The Sparrow
So I did it.  I posted a chapter of the Tig Trager fic that I started a while ago.  I don't know quite where it will go - but here it is.  I popped it up of AO3 as well
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
Tig Trager, man of action, Sargent at Arms, Brother and all around slightly psychotic bad ass could not believe that he had found himself reduced to this - sneaking around grocery store. to find out what he could about some random chick that he had seen around town.  He knew almost nothing about her, but from the moment he had seen her going into one of the local Coffee houses two weeks ago.  She was a little bird of a woman who never seemed to raise her head to look around her. From what he could make out she seemed to have a figure, but it was mostly hidden under a sweater.  She had long brown wavy hair that she tucked behind her ears when she wasn’t using it as a shield to hide herself away.
After he had seen her the first time he had found himself noticing her more and more, until he eventually realised that he had started to  go out of his way to find her.  He had managed to set up  a ‘chance’ contact when he realised that the coffee shop was her go to destination every couple of days at 10am he made sure that he would be there at the same time and ‘accidentally’ bumped into her as she was heading out.  He had been surprised at how petite she was next to his larger frame,  Her eyes had been a deep rich brown and her mouth had been full and had turned up into a small but sweet smile as she had apologised to him for her clumsiness,.  Her voice had been quiet and tinged with obvious nervousness but still warm. Her hand on his arm had been gentle but warm although all he had been able to see of it had been her finger nails which were painted a deep red that had surprised him,  He had returned her smile with as soft of a smile as he could manage and had reassured her that it wasn’t a problem.  He had held the door open and watched her a she walked away, her head back down and her hands sunk into her pockets.  That night her face and those deep eyes had shown up in his dreams, staring at him as she sucked on his cock.
He had been worried when she had missed her regular stop at the coffee shop earlier this week, he had waited for over an hour for her to come in and she had failed to show.  He had written it off as nothing but his concern wouldn’t ebb, so when he had seen her as he had ridden through town he decided that  it was time for him to see what was going on.  He had parked up his bike and followed her on foot, trying his best to remain inconspicuous, which in retrospect he probably hadn’t managed based on the fact that he was still wearing his kutte and k-bar but sometimes you just have to seize the moment.
He had been watching her now for 20 minutes as she seemed to check and weigh up every purchase that she went to make - he wasn’t sure why she was being so picky but maybe she was just a fussy shopper. he didn’t really understand women and the way that they shopped, maybe this was how they all did it?  Christ he hoped she was done soon as it was boring as hell.  Noticing that some of the employees were staring at him suspiciously he picked up some random boxes off the shelf and dropped what ever it was into the basket he was carrying,
Another 15 minutes later and she seemed, at long last to be done and heading to the register,   He was surprised at how little that she had in her cart but there are consequences for fussy choices he supposed.  Noticing that there was another customer who was about to get behind the mystery woman in the register line he rushed ahead and barged in from of the older lady who huffed at him.  Mystery woman didn’t seem to be aware of the small commotion which made him frown, she needed to be more careful.  Charming was a peaceful town, but like anywhere there was danger,  Some people would say he was the danger, but really he was a pussy cat.   He found himself fidgeting and huffing as he tried to get her attention.  She seemed to be oblivious to him, or was ignoring him, either option was unacceptable to him but just as he was about to tap her on the shoulder, the crazy old woman he had cut in front of managed to ram her shopping cart into the back of his ankle.  “Fucking hell! Seriously!” He whipped around and glared at the crazy old bat who glared right back.  “Crazy old broad” he muttered under his breath turning back around to his mystery woman only to see that she had moved forward in the line and her groceries were being rung up.  God Damn it! that stupid old bat had distracted him and now he had missed the  best chance he had to initiate some contact with the little bird in front.  Turning to glare at the old woman again, he started to load his random selections onto the conveyer belt - noticing he had bought crackers, soy sauce, coconut milk, tissues and lube, well at least one of the items he picked would be useful.
“That’ll be Thirty five dollars and sixty nine cents” The board cashier mumbled to the mystery woman and then he heard her soft voice again “Oh um… wow ok…um let me just take a few items back, um..” He noticed that she seemed to be  flustered and trying to make decisions about what would she would take,  She seemed to be deciding between the meat and vegetables and had already put the toilet tissue to one side.
“Miss I either need you to pay or move to one side” The cashier tried to move her on and was obviously making her uncomfortable “Oh of course um, just give me a second” The Cashier met her response with a huff of annoyance and an eye roll and Tig  could see that mystery ladies hands were shaking and she tried to move the items out the way and he realised that this was the chance he had been looking for.  With a cough to catch the cashiers attention he realised that mystery woman had also turned around and that she was blushing with embarrassment.  Her eyes met his briefly before she looked down and in that moment he noticed tears that were about to overflow. Shoving his had into his pocket he pulled out his wallet and pushed his items forward.  “Hey man look just give the lady a break,  How about you just ring these through too and i’ll pay for both the groceries”  The cashier sighed and rolled his eyes in annoyance but began to pull Tig’s random items up.
Mystery woman looked up in surprise, her cheeks still bright red “Oh no Sir, please I cant let you do that, I’m just going to leave”  Tig smiled as gently as he could at her “Nah doll it’s nothing just a few bucks, its like my good deed for the month”
“But you don’t even know me!”
“Sure I do, we met in the coffee shop, remember, that makes us old friends’  She gave him gentle smile but seemed reticent to make eye contact with him.  Before she could object any further the cashier interrupted them to ask for $52 and some change.  Tig growled under his breath at the interruption before turning back to the bored little shit who dared interrupt him.  “Bag the goods dip shit” he growled as he pulled out his wallet to pay for everything.  The douche bag cashier had nervously thrown all the groceries into a couple of bags mixing them up but Tig didn’t care, he grabbed his chance and the bags and gestured to the mystery woman to head out of the store while thinking that if he came across the guy outside of the store he may well give the him a bit of a fright.
Pausing just outside the store he turned to face his mystery woman and put the bags on the ground as she in turn looked up at him through her eye lashes, her cheeks still stained pink.  She smiled slightly “Thank you, I really am grateful for your help,. you need to let me pay you back, I mean it might take me a few days to come up with the money but I promise that I will get you what I owe”
Tig couldn’t help but tease her a little “Well you know if you lay off the coffees for a couple of days you might find it easier to afford the groceries”  He tried to soften his words with a smile but it was clear almost immediately that she didn’t see the humour in his words
“What! Oh no no, really I don’t spend all my money on coffee, honest.  I wouldn’t do that and then expect someone to get my groceries, I swear! Please you have to know that !” tears started to flow from her eyes as her breath seemed to catch in her chest and she attempted to not just full out cry.  Tig felt like an ass, damn it that is not what he wanted ! He sucked at dealing with emotional women,  What the fuck was he supposed to do now? “Hey doll. come on it’s ok I was only teasing” He crouched slightly to try and make eye contact and reassure her that he was serious.  She wouldn’t make eye contact but she did nod her head in acknowledgement.  “Tell you  what doll how about I take you for a coffee and you can tell me whats got you so down?” Maybe if they went somewhere she was comfortable he could get her to talk some more.
”Umm”  She was unsure of going with him, he could tell maybe she wasn’t as oblivious at it had seemed in the store but he could also see that she felt that she owed him for helping her out.  One of the things that made him a good SA was being able to capitalise on weaknesses when he saw them so he pushed just a little harder.   “Come on doll - I promise I’m harmless, mostly” That got a smile so he continued “We’re already like friends - so now we’re gonna be friends having coffee.  I’m Tig” he held out his hand.  Her brown eyes finally met his for longer than a second and he saw her take a deep breath before holding out her small hand “Belle, it’s nice to meet you Tig”

-------------------------------------------
Music blared from the speakers of the stereo she set up outside in the storage unit. Teagan moving outside to work on the Chevelle some more after finishing up the last of her stress cleaning endeavor, having taken it upon herself after the guys left to spend the rest of the morning elbows deep in reorganizing the entire bar and kitchen areas, using it as a way to distract herself from the anxiety that still loomed at the back of her mind.
Until Gemma came back in from the office at least, taken aback at first by how much Teagan had managed to accomplish in just a few short hours. “You need a better hobby, Sweetheart.” She had stated sarcastically as she poured herself some more coffee.
“C’mon now, out with you.” She shooed Teagan out the back the door. “Delivery guy just dropped off a shit load of parts for your car. Go do something more productive, that doesn’t end in me having to explain to Clay why the Clubhouse got redecorated!”
And now here she sat, unboxing and organizing parts in the order they needed to be used. Knowing she couldn’t get much done work wise without having a second pair of hands, and with everyone gone for the day she was burnt on actually accomplishing anything. As she stood, beginning to organize all her parts, dragging one of the tool boxes over, she jumped as the storage door rattled as it was slid up and opened.
“For fuck’s sake, Gemma! I’m fine in here! You didn't want me in the clubhouse, you didn't want me cleaning...what else is there to-” As Teagan ranted at ‘Gemma’ she ground the heels of her palms into her eyes as she turned. When she finally lowered her hands, the black spots soon fading, she stopped short, staring at the dark, curly haired woman smirking at her, green eyes burning in excitement.
“Last I checked,” She started, waltzing into the room, stepping over the scattered car parts. “I only looked like Gemma?”
“Holy fuck. Tawni! What the hell are you doing here?!” Teagan cried, making her way over to her and wrapping her arms around her neck, both women squealing in delight as they hugged.
“Well, I just got back from my trip.” Tawni said as she let go of her friend. “I was up in Washington for a while, checking on a few friends. I was going to come down with Kozik, but shit got tied up.” Tawni gave a shrug as she spoke, shoving her hands into her back pocket. Teagan chuckled and shook her head, stepping back to lean against the car with a sigh.
“Well, shit. It’s still good to see you.” Teagan sighed. Tawni smiled and nodded in return.
“Yeah, you too. When did you blow back into town?” Tawni asked, looking around at all the parts, picking up a few to inspect them. Teagan smirked and swiped the part from her hands, setting it aside with a snide smirk, making Tawni giggle.
“Is that supposed to be funny?” She teased. Tawni smirked, realizing what she meant.
“Hey, honey. If the boot fits?” She teased back as Teagan chuckled and shook her head.
“It’s a long fucking story.” Teagan stated, gesturing to her still healing face. “One that I’m fairly certain calls for a drink...or a bottle. That’s up to you.” She smirked.
Tawni gave a low whistle and stepped closer, touching her face gingerly. “Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Who the fuck did ye piss off, Teage?” Tawni asked, a subtle hint of her accent coming through.
“Some of Darby’s dipshit crew members...Bradley to be exact.” Teagan replied with a small sneer at the memory that was still fresh in her mind.
“Bradley. Tha’ fuckin’ snake. Hasn’ he gotten ‘imself killed yet?!” Tawni cried with a sneer of her own before she went to Teagan and slid her arms around her neck, pressing her cheek to hers. “‘M’sorry, babe. Wish I was here when it happened, I would have kicked his arse.”
Teagan chuckled in response and shooed Tawni away, making her giggle. “It’s cool...he’ll get what’s comin’ to him sooner or later.” She replied with a sly smirk. “You said hi to Gem yet?”
Tawni giggled and shook her head. “No. I saw your ‘Quinn’ girl parked out front where the other bikes usually are, and I had to come see you first.” Tawni giggled with a small smirk. “Besides, I see Gemma all the time. I’m nothing new.”
“Well, it’ll be a goddamn miracle she doesn’t call out the entire Charming Police force when she sees us walk in together.” Teagan gave a small laugh as she wrapped an arm around Tawni’s shoulder and tugged her forward towards the Clubhouse. Tawni laughed as well, sliding her arm around Teagan’s waist.
“Oh, please. We were not that bad...it was a few bitch fights, that’s all.” Tawni said. Her lips twisted up in a smirk as she added, “Besides, we were still friends after it.”
“True…except for that one time I hotwired the Principles car and we spent two days in Juvie. You didn’t speak to me for like a week.” Teagan mused with a thoughtful and mischievous grin. “But memory lane aside, it’s a shame I busted ass all morning cleaning the bar…’cause that shit’s about to get wrecked!”
Tawni tossed back her head and laughed, Teagan giggling as the two women walked and talked their way to the clubhouse. Gemma looked up at the sound and went to the door of the office, leaning against it, smirk on her face as she shook her head.
“Oh. Shit.” Gemma muttered.
~
It was late, around 2am, when the guys finally rolled back into the lot at Teller-Morrow, finding it extremely unusual when they noticed the loud music bumping from the Clubhouse the second they cut the engines of their bikes. A round of questioning glances making its way through the group.
“What in the hell is going on here?” Clay muttered in a disgruntled tone as they made their way to the door, pausing briefly just outside at the sounds of the loud drunken laughter that could be heard from inside over the music that was blaring. Clay turning to fix Tig with a glare, hand on the door waiting to open it.
“Why the hell you lookin’ at me?” Tig stated defensively.
“Maybe because she’s your Sister.” Clay ground out between clenched teeth, not in the mood to deal with whatever nonsense was happening on the other side of the door.
“Jesus…” Tig muttered under his breath as he stepped forward, Clay opening the door and gesturing for him to enter first as he stepped aside. Tig groaned outwardly at the scene that lay out before him as he stepped inside, shaking his head, the rest of the guys entering cautiously behind him.
“TIGGY!” The two women exclaimed -- Teagan with a little less enthusiasm -- from where they sat on the bar. Tawni climbing over the top of Teagan, using her as a foothold as she climbed down upon spotting her Uncle; Chibs. Hugging Tig briefly before nearly tackling the Scotsman that stood directly behind him.
“Jesus...are you high?” Tig questioned as he approached his Sister who was now struggling to climb down off the bar, watching as she slipped, landing on the floor with an audible ‘THUD’.
“Teagan…” She corrected drunkenly as he reached down and pulled her up, steadying her as she swayed a little. “And as a fuckin’ kite.”
“The hell you guys doin’ havin’ a party without us, anyway?” Jax inquired with a curious grin as he propped a elbow against the bar, plucking one of the half smoked blunts from an ashtray and relighting it to take a hit.
“T-Think of it as a loooong awaited reunion of BFF’s.” Tawni chimed in drunkenly before dissolving into a fit of uncontrollable giggles that Teagan soon became a part of. Tig turning to share a scathing look with Chibs.
“Aye, well, as lovely as tha’ is; party’s over. Time for bed Lassies.” Chibs stated as he ushered Tawni forward towards the hallway, ignoring both her and Teagan’s protesting, which was eventually silenced by a stern look from Clay.
“Fiiiiiiiiiiiine.” They both whined in unison.
“You two can continue your little ‘celebration’ some other time.” Clay stated flatly as he headed for the door of the Chapel. “But in the meantime, party’s over.”
~
“Looks like you two had quite a night.” Gemma stated sarcastically as she entered the Clubhouse to find both Teagan and Tawni, trash bags in hand, cleaning up their mess from the night before. Both girls groaning in disapproval at the intrusion of sunlight that the open door was providing as Gemma purposely held it open for longer than necessary.
“Don’t remind me…” Teagan all but gagged as she covered her mouth with the back of her hand, pausing her cleaning efforts for a moment as she struggled not to be sick. “I can still taste the tequila.”
“So I suppose a round o’whiskies is ou’ of the question this mornin’, then?” Chibs chimed in sarcastically as he rounded the corner of the hallway and entered the room, leaning up against the bar with an amused grin as he watched them.
“Why you gotta be like that?” Tawni whined as she turned to glare at her Uncle. His grin widening as he glanced behind her to find Teagan, staring him down what he assumed was supposed to be a menacing look, but her disheveled appearance only made it all the more amusing. Chibs coughing into his hand to cover up a laugh as she rolled her eyes and went back to cleaning up empty beer bottles as Tawni turned around to do the same.
“Well, as entertaining as this is,” Gemma mused as she passed through the room to the kitchen, no doubt heading for a cup of coffee. “I’ve got work to do. Which reminds me, there’s a couple of rigs need picking up in town, when you get the chance. I have the paperwork in the office.” She added, stopping in front a Chibs for a moment, giving him her own look before continuing on to the kitchen.
“Aye.” Chibs sighed as he pushed away from the bar and started towards the door. “Ye lassies try not to have too much fun now, ye hear.” He teased, ducking to avoid the stray boot that was aimed at his head by his Niece as she started shouting -- what Teagan only assumed to be expletives -- at him in Gaelic. Chibs’ laughter echoing through the Clubhouse, even after the door had swung shut behind him as he headed for the shop.
“I need a shower...and about eight more hours of sleep.” Tawni mumbled as she retrieved her boot, tugging it back on before returning to finish clearing off the bar, Teagan wiping it down behind her as they finished cleaning up in mutual silence for the sake of the roaring headaches that plagued them both from the previous nights events. Teagan finally taking a seat and resting her forehead against the coolness of the bar top when Gemma hollered at her from the kitchen.
“For the love of God...just put me out of my misery already.” Teagan groaned as she slid off of the barstool to see what Gem needed.
“As fun as that sounds, I feel like a shower is of greater priority at the moment.” Tawni gave a smirk as she patted Teagan on the back quickly before taking off down the hall to her room.
“Bitch!” Teagan yelled after her as she started for the kitchen, giving a small smirk of her own a Tawni yelled back,
“Jerk!”
Gemma was standing at the counter, piece of paper in hand, when Teagan rounded the corner. Grabbing herself a cup of coffee before leaning against the counter with an expectant look as she sipped at the contents of her mug. “You yelled?”
“Engine for your car finally came in.” Gemma stated matter of factly as she slid the piece of paper across the counter, Teagan picking it up to inspect the phone number that had been written on it, along with what time and where she could pick it up from. “I’m sure Ope would let you borrow his truck since Chibs won’t be back with the Tow-Truck for a while.
Teagan gave a nod and tucked the piece of paper into the back pocket of her jeans as she straightened and grabbed her coffee, taking a sip before she said, “Is Ope here yet?”
Gemma nodded with a sigh. “He should be. I think he’s heading out with Chibs. You might be able to catch him.” She said. Teagan gave a soft groan, not really wanting to have to chase the man down, but she would for the sake of her car. Teagan set her coffee down on the counter before rushing out, catching the tow truck just as it passed.
“Hey!” Teagan shouted, waving her hands to get their attention as she came up to the passenger window, Opie stopping the truck and rolling the window down. “Hey, Opie, can I borrow your truck? My engine came in and I want to go pick it up.”
“For the Chevelle? Shit, already?” Opie asked, throwing the truck in park as he dug through his pockets for his keys. Teagan lit up despite her headache, if only briefly, excited to get things going with her car.
“Well, I’ve been here for a few weeks already. I ordered it when I found out Tig kept the damn thing.” She shrugged in response, reaching in and swiping the keys from Opie’s outstretched hand. Opie chuckled and nodded.
“Just don’t fuck it up my truck?” Opie asked.
“Aye, are ye still drunk?” Chibs teased. Teagan narrowed her eyes at him, smirking as she gave a small shake of her head, pocketing the keys.
“No.” She scoffed playfully. “I’m hungover, not drunk. There’s a difference, Scotty.”
Chibs snickered as Opie put the truck back in drive, waiting for Teagan to step away. “Well, we’ll just have to see abou’ tha’ when I get back, won’ we?” He teased, his voice low so only Teagan could hear. Her lips pricked up as she fought the goofy grin that threatened to spread across her face.
“Don’t you two have work to do?” She teased back, stepping away before turning and going back to the clubhouse. Opie chuckled and shook his head as he drove off.
“Dude. Really? You’re gonna mess around with Raven? You do remember her, right?” Opie asked as they drove down the street. Chibs sighed and nodded.
“Aye. After’ las’ nigh’, seein’ her wit’ Tawni. I forgot how close they were before.” Chibs stated.
“And that still doesn’t change your mind? Or the fact that she’s Tig’s little sister?” Opie asked. Chibs scoffed, brushing the comment off.
“Och, i’s jus a bit’o fun. Nothin’ serious.” Chibs said, earning a snicker from Opie as he rolled his eyes..
“Right.”
~
Back in the clubhouse, Teagan still needed a little more of a pick me up, spiking her coffee with just a touch of whiskey, the thought of tequila making the back of her throat closing up in attempt to stop the threat of potentially throwing up. Tawni’s laughter perked her up a bit as she turned to see her walking down the hall with Juice. Teagan smirked and turned on the barstool, watching the pair, as she was still invisible to them for the time being.
“Come on, Tawn. You used to be as bad as the rest of us...you really don’t fight anymore?” Juice teased, grabbing a fistful of her side, making her squeak, laugh and jump as she turned to him, trying to pry his fingers away. She bit her lip as Juice moved his hands, Tawni’s hands around his wrists, pulling her closer as he moved his arms behind his back. Her laughter died off, slowly, as they got a little closer.
Teagan desperately wanted to witness this historical event, something that would make her ‘affair’ with Chibs pale in comparison to his precious niece flirting with a member, but she was still a decent enough friend that she cleared her throat, making her presence known and making the pair jump and move away from each other, both of them afraid it was Chibs. But Tawni sighed when she saw it was just Teagan.
“See? Even ask Teagan.” Juice said, diverting the moment as they approached the bar. “You can’t tell me you believe her, that she doesn’t fight anymore.”
Teagan shrugged.  “Well, I haven’t exactly been around lately, but...I believe her.”
Juice sighed and shook his head as Tawni went behind the bar, pulling out a beer and opening it before she handed it to him.
“I told you. You don’t see me as often anymore. I’m fucking mature, thank you.” Tawni giggled in reply as Teagan swung back around to the bar and leaned over her coffee cup with a soft groan. Tawni looked over her best friend and giggled. “Hey, I’m gonna hit the store. Gonna get some things to make my Nan’s hangover stew. Wanna come?”
Teagan shook her head and sat up, saying, “Nah. I have to go pick up my engine from the shop.”
Tawni gave a small pout, but shrugged it off and wiped down the bar, double checking everything before she left. The deviousness of Teagan’s mind began working as she sat back and added, “But, um...Juicy, why don’t you accompany her? I do still remember our dear, sweet, little Tawni likes company when she shops.”
“It’s called impulse control, and I’ve gotten a better hold on it, thank you...Bitch…” Tawni stated with a giggle. Teagan snickered and shrugged, going back to her coffee. Tawni glanced at Juice and said, “But I would like the company...especially being hungover.”
Juice smirked and set his beer down, leaning a little closer. “Yeah. Sure. I don’t have much to do today. I can come.” He said. Tawni bit her lip and smiled with a nod.
“Cool. I’ll go grab my stuff and meet you out front?” She said. Juice nodded and watched her as she walked off, letting out a heavy sigh as he smirked and bit his lower lip. Once she was out of sight, Juice chuckled and turned back to talk to Teagan, but stopped and jumped when he saw the fierce look she had fixed him with. He glanced around before he said, “What did I do?”
“Nothing...yet. Just make sure you’re well aware, that not only will Chibs kill you if he finds you with her, but I will break your face and cut off your balls if you ever hurt her…” Teagan threatened, making Juice’s eyes grow wide. “Don’t forget who I am, Juice.”
“No. Nope. No. Never. I-I promise.” Juice stumbled.
Teagan glared at him for a moment longer, then smirked and chirped, happily, “Good. Then have fun! Oh, and, if I were you, I’d make the first move? Tawni really wants to make good on her promise to Chibs about not messing around with members, but if you initiate, she won’t see it as her breaking the promise.”
Teagan giggled and wiggled her fingers at him as she left the clubhouse, with a little sing-song, “Have fun!”
