My take on the book After reading this book I have mixed feelings about this one as sometimes it bored a lot and sometimes it thrilled me and kept a Suspense throughout the book and in end also and that made me read this book till the end. The story is still confusing to me but I think I have known enough to understand what happened and what could happen. Classical novels always intrigue me to read them and if I see the story is not making any sense I stop myself reading forward but this one intrigued me to read and finished it and it gave me a good time. This book is for classical novels lover with a Suspense that will give you an amazing time as now I could say that ... Have a happy reading and keep inspiring people to read and make their lives beautiful. Glimpse There has been a murder of an old businessman Andrew Jakes in his own home and his young wife Angela Jakes has been brutally raped and was tied with the dead body of Andrew Jakes. Detective Danny McGuire tried all his might to solve this case but they couldn't find the real culprit behind the murder of old man Andrew Jake and his wife Angela Jakes left to live a secluded life giving away all the property to the orphanage as she couldn't live there where her husband and she was abused. After ten years the same things happened in another country and this coincidence alarmed the detective who never slept in peace after that incident where he saw the beautiful young women Angela Jakes and he wanted to solve the case but never had that luck but this time young woman is in custody and he thinks he can solve this dead case. Would he able to solve the case which hasn't been solved a decade ago to know more go grab this book and start reading. Well... as promised to few of my followers that I will talk about the book I read, so here it is THE PHOENIX by #sidneysheldon followed by #tillybagshawe . Story starts with very ineffectively. Protagonist is blessed with some sort of mind reading magic and everything is turning into easy coincidence.she is unaware of the world in the start and later she turns into an agent and an assassin. Like how?!! And Lo And Behold!! Suddenly comes a twist to join a secret group to assassin a "bad woman" which u can't figure till the end of it as its not described. Too many characters and not established well. Very jumbled up subplots and secondary characters r just fill ins(they r not providing anything to the story). Tilly Bagshaw couldn't inculcate the legacy of sidney Sheldon's trademark labyrinthic mystery with a strong plot/subplot/characterisation and the perfect end. As soon as u reach to an end WHAT!!!! book is over! There is no end even for an open ending, it finishes in between as if few pages r missing. In total I wouldn't recommend it to seasoned readers and better I read it online rather to buy a physical copy. Vários casos e mistérios acontecendo simultaneamente. E o tempo todo nos instiga a querer não apenas solucionar os crimes, como também esperar/ tentar adivinhar a próxima vítima e tentar relacionar todos os casos a Nikki. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ Com certeza ela desperta nossas suspeitas de envolvimento, mas parece que falta algo que outro personagem apresenta como suspeito. Aliás os principais “suspeitos” sempre fazem a linha tênue entre sou bom, mas faço algo ilícito. Isso nos deixa doidos! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ Aliás o que nos deixa doidos também é uma lista de nomes que Nikki menciona no início do livro relacionando com: amei, decepcionei, odiei e poderia ter amado. Então a cada novo personagem que aparecia, eu corria ver o que ela falou sobre a pessoa kkkk! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ O geral eu gostei bastante, MASSSS... achei que a princípio criou-se uma atmosfera de mistério muito forte e o final foi morno. Nada além de um desfecho lógico, beirando ao óbvio se não fosse por uma amarração forçada entre os vários acontecimentos apresentados ao longo da trama. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ Eu gostei demais da experiência e foi um prazer ter a minha miga Steh @stebookaholic comigo em mais uma LC! I am struggling to find anything bad to say about this book, and do you know what, i absolutely cant.  It was sheer perfection, the blend of glamour and glitz and hollywood against the backdrop of 2 very beautiful locations in different parts of the world.  There was not a single character i didnt like, well apart from the very slimy Harry Greene.  Synopsis:  Sabrina Leon, tortured classic movie star pain in the bum makes a huge faux pas and calls the director of her biggest movie a slave driver, well that doesn't go down well as he is a black man whose grandmother was a slave and all of Hollywood turns against her and nobody will give her any work and she ends up in rehab against her will, and then made to shoot a movie for free by the only director in the world that will hire her, the very dashing Dorian rasmirez.  Dorian casts super gorgeous Viorel Hudson as his leading man in the movie who by lack of a better word is a complete tart, and the film shoots in a rambling English house where we come across the very understated Letitia Crewe and her adorable son Abel.  We are also introduced to some secondary characters Chrissie Rasmirez, Dorian's promiscuous wife, rival movie director Harry Greene, a few agents that aren't worth mentioning, some fellow actors whose names i honestly cant remember they are so insignificant, and the brother of Letitia's Calvin Klein model looking obnoxious jerk Jago Crewe and the housekeeper of the house Mrs Drummond.  The story is about a movie, love, passion, parenthood, responsibility, family, obligation and hope, all set against a backdrop of the most shallow place on earth, celebrity.  There was some twist and turns in the story, and things i didn't see coming and it kept me turning the pages, and the end 9 pages well, the minute the 1st word came up on that last chapter i started smiling, and i didn't stop until 9 pages later when it was all over and i was totally and utterly satisfied by the ending.  I sincerely hope and i dont know if anyone else will agree that Tilly brings these 4 main characters back at some point in another book. I would love to see Viorel and Sabrina and Dorian and Letitia again.  Lets face it, 99% of us will never be rich or successful or famous, and we all dream of winning the lottery and being able to live the most fabulous life, but until that happens spending money on this book will allow you to disappear into that world for a few days and live vicariously through the richness of the world created by Tilly.  I had never read any books by Tilly before, in fact i had never heard of her, i have of course read some of her sisters books and loved them, and only made the connection when another reviewer mentioned it but do you know what, comparing them against each other is like comparing mature and mild cheddar cheese, each have their strengths, and some people will always prefer one to the other, crap analogy i know but i cant think of anything else to say other than i was so impressed that I am now off to order her other books.  LOVED IT !!!!
