Re-inviting & Re-visiting
Conceptual design by Daniel Lie Jia Kua
Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the site was refurbished in 2019. It has successfully attracted young artists and made the courtyard more lively. The location is utilised for ongoing festive activities, but it remains uninviting during off-peak season. The project aims to redesign the place for local workers as a hanging spot during their break time. A series of transitional spaces for hangouts and reminiscences of the past is created.

It’s always so hard to put into words how this day has changed us all. Since we lost Scott. It has now been 7 years. Sometimes it feels like 7 minutes, others it feels like 70 years.
I wouldn’t be who I am without having discovered Scott and his music. He touched so many and I’m so glad his words carry on and @tinychanges are doing so many good things in his name. Of course, I wish Scott was here to make those tiny changes himself. But he already did so much in the time we had with him.
Thinking of everyone like me, especially Scott’s family and his closest friends, who are hurting today. I’m glad we all have each other to hold onto.

Located in Pristina, the pavilion is designed for intersecting animal communities and human use, The pavilion is modular, vertical structure composed of various cuboid sections. Each section is designed to accommodate different animal habitats, incorporating elements such as nesting areas, planters with vegetation, and spaces filled with natural materials like twigs and leaves.
