There's a stereotype that "black people love watermelon." Watermelon itself is not racist. The perpetuation of that stereotype is. You're allowed to like and talk about watermelon. It's just a fruit.

Gotcha. I'm sorry if I sounded stupid. I just didn't understand. I tried Googling "watermelon toothpaste" to see if there was some pop culture reference or something that I was missing and I kept seeing articles saying the cartoon was bad because of the watermelon but none of the articles explained why watermelon was bad.

Where do I begin… I’ll say a few, because this could be soooo long! Norman Reedus, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Fassbender, Kenichi Matsuyama…

    tinydaryladventures Questions 1. Do you think things would have gone down relatively the same way with Shane if Lori had never had an affair with him? 

  Hm… probably not, but who knows. Shane wasn’t one of my favourites, but I guess he has this motivation, this dream (to be with Lori, to replace Rick), and otherwise he would have never betrayed Rick. He loved Rick, when he said that he was his brother he really meant. He would have followed him everywhere.

2. Which character do you think you’d most likely be friends with in real life? Why?  I’d like to say Daryl, but I know that it would be Dale or Hershel. I may be wrong, but I think we are somehow alike, and every word they said I agreed. That Dale’s speech was simply amazing (and also, he liked reading!). Hershel was a realistic voice, and I can really sympathize with that.

3. How would you have handled Lizzie? 

To be honest, I don’t know. That episode really shocked me and made me think. I guess I would have tried to open her eyes until the very end, but that is not wise. I’m afraid I wouldn’t survive to ZA. 

4. Why do you think people keep looking to Rick as the leader even after everything they’ve been through? 

Because that’s what the script says. (Sorry, I had to do it xD).

  Rick has this leader aura. He can make wrong choices, but he is still a leader. Nobody in the group has this aura, except for him. Also, he was police officer, somebody you can trust.

5. Hardest character death to deal with? 

  Dale’s. Hershel was really, really sad, but somehow I knew it. Mika’s death shocked me too. But Dale’s… I didn’t see that coming. 6. If you could choose the next person to die (from the group. You can’t just cop out and pick a Termite :-p), who would you choose, and why do you want them dead (or at least want them dead over other people)? 

  Wow, this is the most difficult one. I honestly don’t know. Everyone is necessary right now. But if I have to say a name I’ll say Beth. I don’t hate her, I understand she has mental strength (I think that is the most value strength) and that is very important to keep your humanity, but, without knowing what Terminus actually is, I think it is a place where only the strongest ones survive. Beth is strong, I get that: but she is not the strongest one.

  I could also say Judith. But humanity needs to repopulate, and this trauma would break Rick into pieces (more than he is right now). 

7. Do you have any pets? 

 No.

8. Coke or Pepsi? 

 Coke. 

9. Would you have eaten Daryl’s snake? 

Yes.

10. If you could do absolutely anything in life, without money or location being an issue, what would you do? 

I would read, write, eat and sleep. I would travel everywhere I’d like to. I would buy a stationer’s shop and I would spend the days just enjoying it by my own.

11. You’re allowed to visit any one place on Earth right now. You have unlimited spending money and travel around that area. Where is it? 

England, probably London. I’ve never been abroad and London is that city where great stories happen.
