Unapologetically in pain from Ellie having so much fun with Riley. All the little things that meant nothing to us as kids meaning the world to them. The escalator, the Photo Booth, the merry go round, the spirit Halloween. Unfair😭. I absolutely love the way they showed their teenage romance it was beautiful and pure and so realistic. And the idea that Ellie sat there with Riley all night so afraid, but resigned that they would die together. And then knowing that Ellie never turned, and waiting and waiting for it to happen but it never does.
