Ghost in the Shell by @bluepeachstudios (aka @amevello-blue) lives rent free in my brain, it has such a grip on my heart, and I ended up sketching this and coloring it over the course of like. A week lol. But gosh was it worth it, and so fun to work on. Thank you Ame for this amazing AU you created!

I haven't drawn any iteration of TMNT in almost 5 years - so sorry if this looks a little wonky, haha. I already struggle to draw hands and turtle hands don't make it any easier, but this was genuinely a lot of fun to work on!

(While working on this I. Also made a little mood playlist of songs that I thought fit Ghost, that's how strong the brainrot was. But I know Ame has an official playlist already haha - still, if anyone's interested I can always link my own playlist in a reblog!)

Usually I'm a little hesitant whenever it comes to bots/ghosts/ais. They're pretty much a hit or miss experience for me. Like don't get me wrong I understand they're not gonna be perfect buuuuttt, sometimes the occ-ish-ness can be a little too much.

Though I gotta give props to anyone who takes the time to build these things cause I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to.

This is a great au created by @venelona-turtle-den and what's great about this program is how the ghost reveals what happened little by little after you gain Leo's trust slowly but surely.

They do it by dropping hints in-between comments here and there. And guys this shit is like Steven Universe where it begins all cute but, as you get deeper you learn more of the darker truths about old friends and the Mad Dog Crew....

I haven't been drawing a lot lately because of being plagued with schoolwork, so after careful planning I can finally present new OCs part of my new AU called TMNT Street Punks Next Gen. (basically if the original TMNT and the Street Punks had a child).

This only took me two weeks to sketch and two nights to color. It was so much fun!

Blood/Gore warning! Just in case—

My first major post to a new fandom and I brutally kill a main character. Shouldn’t have expected much else from myself, honestly. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Anyway, context if my subtle background hints weren’t enough (or ya just want a little bit more info):

Post movie, Leo couldn’t be saved, and everyone went home mostly expecting him to be dead. There was very little hope for his survival, really, and they all had injuries to care for themselves. While they did plan on trying to check later on, (at least to get a body), with Donnie building a portal and Mikey trying to unlock his powers, in the end, they didn’t have to.

Within a few days, things started happening gradually around the lair (moving objects, closing doors, flickering lights, etc), until eventually they were getting texts from Leo’s number. No one really wanted to believe it, whether out of fear of what his presence implied or straight up not thinking ghosts were real, but eventually, as Leo texted things only he’d know (and the general acknowledgment of Hamato spirits being a thing), they came to be… open to the idea.

Draxum confirmed that ghosts were fairly common amongst yokai, separate from spirits, and with that Donnie dived head first into researching it, determined to see the ghost and get solid proof that it was, in fact, his twin.

In that research, he came across information on a ghost’s appearance. He didn’t pay much attention to it, or the dread that settled in his stomach. He didn’t care. He didn’t.

But Leo does. Leo really, really does. And that’s two reallys.

Okay, everyone says two Donnies in the finale is funny, but I think it's also pretty symbolic.

And I wanted to do something sweet about Ghost, because I have a deep respect in my soul for him and his story😌

For @somerandomdudelmao 's Cass apocalypse au!!!! I love the idea of Raph being Casey's dad before Leo took over parenting. Raph deserves to be a big soft dad.

So. Cass' Apocalyptic Series by @somerandomdudelmao just ended.

I have many emotions none of which I can properly convey through words or anything. CAS itself has been a continuing beacon of creative light that's been lovely to see progress, and has inspired me through so many things, and I could go on about it but I cannot get into it without crying so I won't, I hope the sentiment comes across.

Cass did fanart of Ghost in the Shell HERE. It was like. I dunno. The third or fourth drawing of GitS I'd gotten from someone else? And the fact that Cass of all people had done it was like, wild to me at the time. I was still kind of reeling from the fact that people even liked my work at all? But Cass said it was good and I was like "oh damn must be good then" and kept writing. She also did THIS animation of Ghost which I still cry at whenever I watch it it's fine.

THEN THE PEEPAW POLLS HAPPENED. OH LORD. I made so many friends. I met so many people through that. I've never. In my life had this many people I could just talk to at any time. I never knew what to say either so I ended up just hanging out and getting dragged wherever the wind took me. It got me into doing polls in general!

Ghost made it to the FINAL ROUND??? Still confused about that. Then Uncle Tello won and Cass did a comic and I wrote something and I cried when I read the comic and I was still kind of processing so I ended up drawing something as well.

Then the next time GitS and CAS met was at the TMNT AU competition. It happened. Like almost DIRECTLY after Uncle Tello died in CAS so I was processing again and I do that through Ghost apparently so I drew a lil comic and wrote a lil somethin.

And then they never met again! But I like to think that some version of Ghost somewhere got to see the end.

GitS Part 2 has been kinda hard for me to write. I had to take a big break from it due to health stuff, and getting back into writing it wasn't as easy as before. And even after Part 2 is over, I still have the movie to do. My interest in TMNT is never going away, even after GitS I have other projects I want to finish, and that I've wanted to work on while writing GitS, but. y'know.

I'm determined to finish it. Drawing an x on my wrist. I really want to give Ghost the ending I've been imagining. And Cass has been someone really cool to look up to while I've been working on that.

So. Yeah. If Cass can get to the good ending, maybe I can do it too.
