Got an anon ask ‘who my least fav turtle is if Leo is my favourite’ and it made me realise I don’t draw my ACTUAL favourite turtle enough, so it might really look like that 😤

I wanted to doodles just the three recent ones but my brain went brrr, and my hand slipped and kept slipping until I got the whole orange fam (could probably still add a few more, maybe later). Anyway, MIKEY SUPREMACY ✨🧡🍊💪 (I love them all but he has a very special place in my heart).

Something that I was kind of thinking about is how the Turtles were kind of shown to be good at gardening during the episode 'Anatawa Hitorijanai' when they are given gardening tools & something that I was sort of thinking about was how the Turtles have kind of been shown to like plants.

In the script for the scrapped season 2 episode 'Gourd Almighty' Donnie says that Botany is his true passion & we have seen Leo keep a plant at the entrance of his room which might possibly be a reference to how there have been previous iterations of Leonardo who have been shown to like gardening, other iterations of Turtles have also shown an interest in plants as in the IDW comics Raph has expressed an interest in farming which kind of makes me wonder if Raph has an interest in farming as well.

Something that I have kind of wondered about is if it is possible that all the Turtles have some interest in plants & that is why they have been shown to be good at gardening.

Been doing some pose and anatomy studying, as well as an idw comic study.

Of course I had to draw my boi 03 Mikey in an idw inspired style. Ok it's literally just my style but with cool comic like shading but my point still stands.

Anyway, whoever said "don't shade with black" clearly doesn't know what they are talking about, this looks great/j

I really don't draw Mikey enough, he's literally my favorite and I draw him the least.

I love pens, and an definitely going to draw my turtles like this again, literally the most fun I've had drawing in a while. (probably cause it's traditional, but still.)
