my silly little headcanon about gerry and gertitude is that he stole her makeup often as a kid to experiment with different looks. it pissed her off because he was using her good, expensive makeup. she bought him his own one day, because she was tired and reaching for her foundation and finding it empty.

bonus points: he still uses hers sometimes. even when he does have makeup
