Oi, boa noite! Tudo bom? Acabei de ler seu texto sobre gramática e queria trazer relatos. Até pq eu to escrevendo uma série de ensaios falando sobre a minha opinião sobre os jogos da tag e isso é um dos assuntos.

Eu percebi que recentemente tem rolado um culto na tag à "escrita normativa". Na verdade já tem anos, mas parece que quanto mais o tempo passa, pior fica.

Pessoal quer escrever muito e quer escrever bonito. E de verdade, tá tudo bem pra mim. A forma como você escreve tanto faz. Mas eu tenho preguiça, eu escrevo o mínimo possível, da maneira mais clara possível justamente pq acredito que a jogatina tenha de ser rápida e fácil. Quando me deparo com essas pessoas, muitas das vezes eu acabo não entendo o que a pessoa tá dizendo pq ela se preocupa tanto com escrever bonito e "certo" que começa a utilizar palavras que tu não usa no dia a dia e eu me pego pesquisando sobre a palavra pra manter uma interação em um rpg de tumblr.

Já rolou uma vez de a pessoa não querer interagir comigo pq eu não escrevia direito. Já aconteceu de uma interação seguir um rumo diferente pq eu não entendi a palavra. E o contrário também. Acho que eu escrevi de forma tão simples que a pessoa simplesmente não entendeu o que eu quis dizer.

E eu até compreendo quando o rpg é de época e tudo mais, mas creio que há um equívoco. Tipo, eu posso narrar a cena como uma pessoa de 2023, mas fazer o meu personagem falar como uma pessoa do século XVI.

Sei lá, só achei legal comentar sobre isso.

Nós nunca, nunca, devemos julgar alguém pela maneira como ela escreve. Independentemente se é um julgamento pejorativo ou "bom" — nenhum esteriótipo, no fim do dia, é bom. Eu gostaria de aproveitar e fazer alguns comentários, se não se importar! Pois algumas coisas que você mencionou são discussões que existem nas ciências da linguagem e por entre os estudiosos da escrita, da língua etc.

Clareza é o conceito mais complicado da escrita — e todos estamos fadados a falhar nela. E de verdade, não importa se escrevemos de maneira "elaborada" ou "simples". Em fato, o que é escrever de maneira "simples" ou de maneira "elaborada"? Vale uma reflexão. Mas, só porque não colocamos palavras diferentes, não significa que estará claro. Porque às vezes algo que escrevemos está super claro para nós, mas para outra pessoa pode não estar. Isso é muito comum, não conseguirmos transmitir a imagem como imaginamos. Por isso, quando não tenho certeza, por exemplo, eu gosto de perguntar! Acho muito válido, inclusive. "O que você quis dizer com esse trecho?", "Eu interpretei assim…". Todo mundo possui seu próprio estilo! Nem sempre está atrelado ao fato de querermos soar mais ou menos algo; algumas pessoas simplesmente escrevem de jeito x ou y.

Além disso, tomar um rumo diferente pode não ser ruim! Mesmo que tenha sido devido a uma interpretação diferente da intencionada. Afinal, escrita é exatamente isso, não é? Ler e interpretar. Quando escrevemos algo e colocamos no mundo, não podemos garantir com quais sentidos ela irá circular; essa é a mágica do roleplay, eu diria.

Vou admitir que eu sou culpado de incluir algumas palavras diferentes. Porém, não para soar mais bonito ou chique: mas porque o significado descreve muitíssimo bem o que quero dizer! Mas, realmente, pode ser cansativo ficar perguntando ou pesquisando! Especialmente quando estamos jogando. Entretanto, também acho que sempre estaremos fadados a procurar o significado de palavras. Expandir o vocabulário é uma coisa boa! Às vezes a gente não conhece a palavra não porque ela não é usada ou caiu em desuso, mas porque não é da nossa região, não é do nosso contato imediato. Descobrir palavras novas pode ser uma experiência muito mais impactante do que imaginamos! Tanto do nosso próprio idioma, quanto de um estrangeiro.

O que me lembra, também, que só porque uma palavra tem definição x no dicionário não quer dizer que o significado dela seja aquele! É um lembrete importante. Então temos que tomar cuidado.

E personagens também possuem vozes; igual às pessoas na realidade. Alguns falam com mais gírias, outros com menos; às vezes a pessoa possui uma caracterização específica com a muse dela. Pense nisso!

Mas, dito isso, seu relato é uma experiência válida! E não pense que estou descreditando. Foi legal, mesmo. Seu estilo, que você considera simples, deve ser respeitado da mesma maneira que o do próximo, que às vezes pode ser considerado elaborado. É legal termos discussões sobre escrita, porque não é uma experiência e nem uma ciência objetiva e singular. Devido a diferentes fatores, temos percepções e noções diferentes de como nós e outros escrevem. O que é elaborado pra um, pode não ser pra outro; o que é simples pra um, pode não ser pra outro — o mesmo com curto, longo, muito ou pouco… não é uma questão tão simples!
