* He wasn’t really sure if he could touch it or pet it like you do with cats, so at first he watches you and how you hold your pet

* He puts off touching your hedgehog until he’s sure he’s doing the right thing

* ‘Squishy’ he thinks, smiling when your hedgehog pushes his nose forward

* Then he rubs the little hands and finally checks the top of your hedgehog

* ‘Not that sharp’ he was surprised

* He starts getting more comfortable and boops your hedgehogs nose every time he visits, smiling when he can tell your hedgehog was waiting for him

* Oh and he also got a hedgehog character in his game to look after (easier to maintain than he thought)

Bokuto

* He was so excited when he found out about your pet hedgehog

* He would gush over the photos you showed him and wiggle his finger at your phone as if he was petting it

* You planned for Bokuto to come over to meet your hedgehog and he couldn’t hide his excitement

* He’s been practicing

* Yep, he’s been practicing on a cacti

* They’re both spiky, so he needed to know to how pet your hedgehog without hurting himself

* When he saw your hedgehog, he couldn’t help but play with its feet, rubbing and tickling it gently

* When he got to petting the top of your hedgehog, he braced himself

* He carefully touches the top , feeling it out

it isn’t until the sun is barely creeping up on the horizon that he comes home. he’s sweaty, discombobulated, and most importantly, he wants nothing more than to sleep in a bed, rather than a cramped bus seat.

that, and he also wants to see you.

you’re laying against the kitchen counter in an uncomfortable position. the laptop in front of you is shining delicately on your face, accentuating the drool spilling from your lips. the paperwork from your job is sprawled all over the surface around you. and you’re fast asleep.

tobio approaches you quietly before leaning down to see if you were really sleeping, although he knows the answer before he even has to check. it’s evident in your rhythmic breaths, each one heavy and resounding in your lungs. he finds himself taking a quick picture of the scene.

for a while, he sits on the stool next to you, his head in his arms as he watches you rest. you’re adorable like this, he thinks, though he knows if he ever told you that you’d chastise him to no end. when you finally begin to stir awake, the hint of a smile on his face widens.

“tobio?” you whisper, the sleepiness still riddled in each syllable.

“hi,” he says a bit louder than he means to. “you didn’t have to wait for me. you should’ve gone to bed.”

you shake your head and begin to lift yourself up from the counter. “‘s fine. i wanted to wait.”

at that, tobio smiles a little more.

mornings like these are rare — he tells you not to stay up for him, knowing that he’ll be home late. but it’s hard to conceal the fact that he adores it.

with steady arms and a warm touch, your boyfriend carries you to the bed, not without a soft kiss to the forehead and a promise to make you breakfast later. for now, it’s time to rest.

Tobio Kageyama Headcannons

- he can be really sweet sometimes

- when he gets tired he starts mumbling incoherent gibberish

- kageyama and tsukishima have so much blackmail on eachother its crazy

- he definitely regulates his diet somewhat to maximise his volleyball performance

Snow Day!!

We got some snow where I live (and I'm finally out of my slump) so here are some Haikyuu characters enjoying a Snow Day!!

Kageyama and Hinata try to play volleyball but the cold makes it hard for Kags to use his hands (he refuses to touch the ball through gloves) so they go insane and start a snowball fight that turns into an all out war.

Tsukki is making snow-men. Yamaguchi helps him. They make snow-man versions of the entire team and send pictures to the rest of the team.

Noya and Tanaka find Kageyama and Hinata and join the war efforts. They text the other 2nd years for re-enforcments (Who show up with sleds to use as shields).

The third years show up to watch some of the war, but leave for Suga's house to drink hot chocolate and watch a movie.

Asahi falls asleep at Suga's house and Daichi wakes him up by dumping a bucket of snow on his head while Suga records it.

Asahi catches a cold from his wet hair, so the team shows up at his house to caroll him back to health (Nishinoya's idea). Asahi's parents have to shoo the team from their property.

I was planning to post more over break but kind of did the complete opposite. Consider this an apology. :)

Kageyama - Classical. I feel like he'd like classical music and listen to it frequently but I bet you he listen's to Mitsiki and Marina secretly while crying.

Sugawara - I feel like he'd like hip hop and Techno I feel like he would unexpectedly listen to the songs with a couple (ALOT) of curse words in them. If someone points it out, he'd just smile and nod.

Asahi - Pop just like Hinata but he would also vibe to lofi music. Seems like a guy that would listen rio romeo with Kiyoko and talk about her songs

Daichi - Seem's like someone who's into jazz (Extra headcannon he was a band kid in middle school)

Tanaka - I have no clue why I think of this but I think he'd listen to Intros and endings from romance dramas while daydreaming about dating Kiyoko and crying with scenarios he created in his head. Kiyoko - There’s not one type of genre she would listen to it all and would be open to her choices would Listen to Rio Romeo and Ado Yachi - Defiantly listens to Indi Pop and Indi Rock, if someone would ask her who are here top artists on her playlist Rio Romeo, Marina, Melanie Martinez and Mitsiki will be the top.

Nishinoya - I think he'd like EDM. Or just party music he would vibe to it and sing along. A side headcannon he remembers Eminems Song word for word escpeially rap god so he will flex on it and Tanaka would cheer him on.

Tsukki - Rap He seems like the guy who would enjoy twenty one Pilots and Artic Monkeys

Yamaguchi - Lofi Hip hop but I also get a vibe that secretly he wouldn't mind listening to Metal Just My opinion though.

Aoba Johsai

Oikawa - Indie Pop/R&B he 100% listens to Marina and The diamonds. K-Pop and J-POP lover with tendou they both secretly bond over it and talk about it in there own GC.

Iwaizumi - Hip hop/Electropop Mattsun - Hip-Hop And Rap. Mattsun and Makki both vibe to the same genre of course. Hanamakki - Hip-Hop and ALSO Rap Mattsun and Makki both vibe to the same genre chaos. Yahaba - Synth-Pop Watari - He listens to Pop Rock and Funk Kiyotani - Heavy Metal and Punk is what I would say if he would listen too though he actually listens to Indie Music and Soft Lofi but if somebody catches him he would give them a glare and they would walk away so fast. Kindaichi - Techno and Pop Rock he seems like he would be into that Kunimi - Listens to Rock and Metal secretly along with sometimes Pop. I head cannon he might secretly be a metal head but he doesn't mind to listening to other genres at all.

♧ his lips taste like cherries because his lips get chapped easily so he applies cherry lip balm every thirty minutes, more or less.

♧ there are multiple reasons why he decided to go to italy and there are two that are more important than the rest. the first one is the most obvious, the contract that ali roma offered him. he thought he'd be a fool not to take it as it is not only a massive career opportunity, but a massive life opportunity as well, for both him and his partner. and the second one is so he has an excuse to learn italian and impress his partner (not that he actually has do that. his precise sets are jaw dropping enough).

♧ the sight of his partner in his t-shirt is his favorite thing to see. more than seeing them dressed up, seeing that a volleyball game was in his team's favor, anything.
