"I don't understand why you keep trying to force me to make friends."

Hunter said absently, subconsciously pulling his beanie down farther over his ears. Luz raised her eyebrows.

"Because you're about to be seventeen and your only friends are the first people who were ever nice to you."

Hunter opened his mouth to retort, then shut it. It was true, he couldn't deny that.

"But why with other humans who-"

Luz watched Hunter's entire facial expression change as they approached the table of friends. They were all chatting amongst themselves, then welcomes Luz with open arms and excited words. Hunter didn't acknowledge any of them but a boy who sat in the back corner, scrolling through his phone absently. He only came back to consciousness when Luz nudged him and glanced over at the boy with a smile.

"Go sit across from him. Go talk to him!"

"What?"

Hunter said absently, blinking. Luz giggled at his expression as he shook his head and frowned at her, as if nothing had just happened.

"Alright, alright! We're sitting, we're sitting."

Luz laughed as one of her friends egged her on, and managed to get them squeezed into the table at the end. Hunter was sat across from the boy, and he pressed his lips into a thin line, glaring at Luz with a face between 'help' and 'what do I do'. She kicked his leg and went back to chatting.

He shifted, opening his mouth for a smart retort, but he managed to accidentally kick the boy across from him. He froze, staring at the boy for a moment before he scrunched his nose.

"Sorry! Sorry."

"Oh, no, it's okay. I've been over here taking up all the space since no one was sitting there."

He laughed, setting down his phone. Hunter blinked at him, unaware of the blush that crept onto his face at the boys smile.

"I'm Y/N. You're Luz's brother, right?"

Hunter smiled. "Yeah," He said softly, and offered his hand for a handshake. "I'm Hunter Noceda."

Another huntlow ballet study (a month in the country, 2019 ROH)

Hunters look is vaguely based on 1900s russian dress uniform and willow is in the "shape" of a hanbok. I've never drawn hanbok before, and don't have lots of knowledge of them so it's a sketch approximation (I tried my best whilst keeping to my time limit for this posing practice)
