anyways this is an idea that i had where on one of hunter and luz's gg missions, luz gets hurt and hunter comes back without a scratch. this leads to Bad Times For Everyone. except me. and bill. we had a blast.

so over a year ago i made this as a collab piece with @yogurthoopsart 's au @toh-tagteam-au, where i did half a comic and they finished the other half with their au hunter interacting with my au's characters and we posted them together.

they uh, never finished their side of the collab sadly, and it's been over a year, so i guess since the collab seems to be off after i asked them if it was.....i might as well post my half since i spent so much time on it and would rather it didn't go to waste.

It's really a shame, i was looking forward to having seen it finished and seeing more adventures of this au crossover, especially with their hunter and my au characters and sharing it with you guys, but i hope this will suffice despite it being old now.

If King’s Light glyph really was influenced, in-universe, by his admiration of Titan Luz, then it makes me wonder about the glyphs of other Titans, particularly his dad. 

I recall people comparing the Titan’s Light glyph to the Collector, considering visual similarities. However, we also know Titans develop their glyphs pretty early in life, and while we know Titans mature much more quickly, their overall lifespan is likely enormous given the decay rate of their bodies, and there doesn’t seem to be any consideration between the Collector and the Titan as childhood friends. The Titan was likely an adult when the Collector first showed up...

Which again, if it’s not the Collector, were any of the Titan’s glyphs inspired by people she knew? People important to her, who acted as formative influences?

Kudos to @toh-tagteam-au for pointing out King’s Ice glyph, which doesn’t seem to resemble anyone or anything we know of (besides the gem on Lilith’s dress from S1?), so maybe it isn’t that deep, or it only applies to one or a few of a Titan’s glyphs... Makes you wonder if any of the Titan’s spells immortalized anyone, who were as dear to him as Luz is to King; Making them dear to Luz as well, who feels fond towards her first spell and mourns its loss as she does the Titan’s.

Part 31!

Before this, the Golden Guards weren't required to be together 24/7, which means they were able to split up to do the work they were assigned. They tended to stick together when they could for some tasks, but it was more efficient to divide the busy work that took them to opposite sides of the castle.

Yes! I've actually been planning a number of original stories for a few years. There's two main ones which are...

Commoners Die In One Hit: My take on an isekai story where a class of high schoolers and their teacher are transported to a fantasy world. They have to work together to survive in this hostile world.

I actually based this concept off of me being bored and rolling stats for a bunch of Dungeon Crawl Classics characters. The first part of the story is structured like a DCC funnel, where a bunch of characters go in and only a handful of characters come out.

Guilded Cage: Five assassins, each belonging to a major guild, are sent to a dinner to uphold an ancient treaty between the guilds preventing them from going to war. Unfortunately, the guilds all sent their worst members, because it turns out that one of the attendees has to die to uphold the treaty.

It'll probably be a while till I start on either of these (and the names might change along the way) since I've still got fanfiction I want to write first.

📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?

You know, I was just thinking I needed to update my fanfic rec list. Honestly, there's way too many I want to recommend, so I'll just pick my top three four.

A Witch in Wartwood (and it's sequel) by Discet (@discet)

This fic! Oh man... This is the fic that got me back into writing! It got me hooked on swap AUs! It is the fic of all time.

The Oracle Bakery by freakxwannaxbe (@freakystrashdump)

I never thought I'd be enjoying an OC fic this much, yet here I am recommending it. Most notable for me for having the best Belos characterization I've read. Also, I really like the worldbuilding of Oracle magic, which doesn't have a huge amount of focus in canon.

Canon divergence ahoy! A fun story about the Collector getting adopted by Eda. I just like the Collector.

A comic, not a fanfic, but still one of the most fun swap AUs I've read. I mean, I enjoyed it enough to write a fanfic based on it, so... I really like it.

And what the heck, I'll recommend Fighting the Stars by FruitDragon as well.

🕶️ What helps you focus when you write?

Music! I've got a whole bunch of playlists that I put on in the background while I write. I have one playlist full of the Yuru Camp soundtrack that never fails to put me in the zone for writing really angsty scenes.

I also make sure to keep myself hydrated and fed with snacks (my fav is frozen raspberries).

🧪 Do you research for your fics?

Of course! Whenever I'm writing, I'll usually have the relevant fan wiki open in another tab for quick reference. And if anything comes up that might require specialized knowledge, I'll do my best to search it out.

I mostly work with fics that don't require too much research, but it does come up from time to time.
