Finished her reference sheet! Atleast her current design. Some fun facts, she is the older sister of Bria (yes the Canon character, I have taken her under my wing kinda) she was in the Emperors Coven. She followed Steve (yes that Steve ♡♡) into the coven even though she wanted to join the potions coven. Lots of yummy drama along those lines which I am a large fan of. I'll have more art and story soon when I come out with her story sheets (basically just text around a drawing of her during that time). We love Matilda in this house ♡♡♡

Aspen was born into a family of beast keepers hailing from Bonesborough, who are known for their work in the rehabilitation and conservation of the wildlife found in the Boiling Isles. They’re known to be well mannered and down to earth, but will never pass up a chance to let loose and get rowdy, more so when an injustice presents itself. Their Palisman, which takes the form of a parrot (Scarlet Macaw), is quite the spontaneous and ecstatic fellow who often acts as Aspen’s little “hypeman”. He can pick up on sounds and voices -mimicking them almost all too perfectly. Although able to “speak” in phrases, he prefers chirps and squawks as his primary form of communication. Just like all Palisman, he grants the ability of flight.

Aspen is enrolled in Hexside, where they join its Beast Keeping track, wanting to follow in their families footsteps. Later on when Hexside allows multitracks, they join its Illusion track. They become acquainted with Edric Blight, maintaining a friendly rivalry with the latter. They hang out, with Aspen partaking in his various schemes, such as offering the use of their families pet griffin for Edric to pose with for his illegal firework business.

In this, she’d be a spy for the Emperor’s coven, mostly spying on Hexside and it’s students+teachers.  One of her first task would be to see how easy it is to study more than one track at the school, hence the Beast Keeping and Illusion dual uniform. On top of being a spy, she’d likely do odd jobs and dirty work for Belos. No one other than Belos and a few higher ups would even know she works for him. She isn’t a pure basilisk, she’d likely be a chimera that was created when Belos first tried to bring back basilisks. She needs to feed on both magic and blood to stay alive although eating a lot of one or the other can curve the hunger for the remaining one. Probably somewhere between 15-17yo Her palisman would be a bat Post reveal spy/fighting outfit.
