International Friendly, not so Friendly
Summary:where Kylian is pissed about the game against Germany
Tumblr media
"Maman?"
"Oui?"
"Where is papa?"
"Getting ready for his match love, that's why we need to get ready and head to the Stadium to watch him play"
Today is the first International break of the year  that means Kylian is gonna be back to Captaining the team again
"I can't find my shoe Maman"
"Here it is Babe"
"Thank you"
"You're welcome"
"Ok let's go"
Claire and I make our way out of the house and to the Garage where the car is parked
I buckle her up in her seat and we start making our way to the Stadium
When we arrive it's noisy, the sound of French people dominates the stadium, cheering and chanting the player's names as they do their warm ups
As we arrive I spot Kylian and he only notices us after 10 minutes and sends us a wave and a kiss
Claire gigles and kicks her legs that barley touch the ground  in her seat as she watches her father do what he loves
Kylian occasionally sends waves our way and the only thing they are doing is making claire more excited
The game starts a small Volkswagen car comes onto the pitch and Kai Haverts picks it up
The refs blows the whistle and Kai kicks the ball to Tony Kroos who send it to Florian Wirtz who shoots the ball and sends it hitting the back of the net
The German players Celebrate the goal
And the once dominating sound of the French has now stopped the only cheers coming from the German Supporters that only take up a small portion of the Stadium compared to the French that take up most of it
I watch Kylian's reaction and he doesn't look pleased to say the least, turning my head and looking next to me I see the once excited and giddy girl with her mouth open and eyes big, just like her father's in that very moment
"Maman what happened?"
"They scored ma cheri"
"Merde" she says
I turn with my head and looks at her with a shocked expression
"Claire who taught you that word?
"Uncle Ethan"
"I'm gonna kill him"
The game goes on and by the time it's full time Germany have won
Again the Sound of the French has now died down
Partly because some had already left in the 65th Minute when they saw how the game was going to end
The score is 0-2 and understandably all the French players want to get off the pitch as soon as possible
"Maman"
"Oui?"
"Can we go get Papa and go home now"
"Yeah let's go"
We make our way down and wait for Kylian to take his shower
After 30 minutes he comes out and gives Claire and I Hugs
"Ca va Papa?"
"Oui ca va ma cheri, je très bien" he says putting a fake smile on his face
We make our way to the car in silence, Kylian buckles Claire up and I go to the driver's seat and start the engine
The whole car ride home is silent, the tension is thick as hell, I don't want to say anything so I'll just keep quiet and focus on the road
When we get home Kylian gets out of the car, unbuckled Claire and they make their way into the house while I get that bags we went with
I enter the house and walk to Claire's room to leave her bag in her room and as I'm about to walk in i hear Claire and Kylian talking
"Why are you upset Papa?"
"We lost Claire" he says taking out some pajamas from her wardrobe
"But we'll get them next Time right?'
"Mhm, c'mon arms up so we can get you into this shirt"
Claire lifts her arms up and Kylian helps her get into her Pajamas
"Papa?"
"Oui?"
"Did you get hurt?"
"No, my love, I just need to get some ice on my foot it will be fine, c'mon teeth"
They walk to Claire's bathroom and she brushes her teeth
"Whach abut unchle TchTch, ish he gonna be fun?"
"What?"
Claire spits her toothpaste out and says
"I said what about uncle Tchou-Tchou is he gonna be fine?, he looked really hurt during the game"
"I don't know, but I hope he is, we need him for Tuesday's game"
"Yeah"
"Ok Bug, bedtime now, c'mon"
Kylian Carries Claire to her bed and tucks her in
"Bonne nuit papa"
"Bonne nuit ma cherie"
"Je'taime"
"Je t'aime aussi"
He closes her door and finds me standing in the passage
I don't say anything to him but I come in for a hug and he lays his head on my shoulder and sights
"Merde" he says
I slightly chuckle a bit and he looks at me and asks what
"Your daughter said the exact same thing when I told her they scored"
"Where did she learn that from?"
"Ton Fére" ( your Brother)
He laughs and we walk to our room and get ready for bed
The next day I'm woken up with my Daughter barging into the room and her hair all over the place
"Claire, tu veux quoi"( what do you want)
"Je veut mon pere"( I want my father)
"Kylian,  C'est ta Fille, Elle veut toi" I say (you Daughter wants you)
He wakes up and looks at Claire who's stood at the end of the bed
"Hello Bug, what can I help you with?"
"I made something for you" she says using her shy voice
"Ok let's see it"
She hands Kylian the card  she made him filled with a whole lot of glitter
She drew a picture of Kylian kicking a ball and scoring a goal
"I saw how upset you were yesterday so I made you a card to show you that next time you can do it pasque t'es mon pére"(because you're my dad)
Kylian smiles, gives her a hug and kiss on her forehead
"Where did you find the time to make this love?" I ask
"I stayed up all night"
"What Claire?"
"C'mon"
We walk into Claire's room and see papers and glitter everywhere
"Merde alors" I say ( Holy sh*t)
"Mon deiu" Kylian says ( My God)
"Claire, how did this room get like this?"
"I was making Papa's card and I thought if I'm making a card for Papa then Maman will feel left out and she'll feel bad and think I don't love her and don't want you to...
"Breath Honey" I tell her because she was rambling without taking breaths
She takes a deep breath and continues talking
"I don't want you to feel bad or think that I don't love you so I made you a card aswell, here" she says
She walks to one of her drawers and pulls out a blue card
"I made it in your favorite color so you'll like it more"
I take the card and look at the picture that Is drawn
It's a picture of me and Claire
"Aww, amore merci, c'est tres beau" ( love thank you, it's so beautiful)
"De rein Maman" ( you're welcome Mom)
"Now we need to get you to sleep because you're gonna be cranky the whole day if not"
I help her out of her pajamas since they have glitter glue on them and need to be washed, I then give her one of my shirts to wear and the stupid child starts imitating me, making Kylian laugh as he watches Claire being funny
I chuckle and say  "Go sleep in my room Claire"
"Ok, j'taime Maman"
"Je t'aime aussi ma cherie"
She walks to my room and climbs on the bed
"Get the brooms" I tell Kylian
"What why me?"
"It's your fault she did this in the first place"
While we're cleaning the room Kylian speaks up
"You know we're actually lucky to have her as our Daughter"
"Yeah we are, she really is an Angel "
"Well most of the time"
"We've birthed a Comedian"
"That's definitely true, can you imagine how she's gonna be when she's older?"
"Oh God please, don't say that, I can already see it"
He laughs and gets back to sweeping the Glitter the floor

Toni Kroos: The Green Field Maestro Who Says Goodbye
Tumblr media
Amidst the roar of a stadium filled with emotion, Toni Kroos, the gridiron maestro, said goodbye to the world of football he had loved and who had loved him back. After a tense UEFA EURO 2024 quarter-final match between Germany and Spain, Kroos walked off the pitch for the final time1.
Kroos’ career has been filled with unforgettable moments, from his 2014 World Cup win with the German national team to his success at big clubs such as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. At the age of 34, Kroos decided that it was the right time to hang up his boots2.
Kroos is known for his extraordinary ability to regulate the tempo of the game, his sharp field vision and his accurate passing. He is the architect in the middle of the pitch, controlling the flow of the ball with the composure and intelligence that only the best players in the world possess.
His retirement announcement touched the hearts of many fans, not only in Germany but also around the world. Even rival fans felt sympathy for his departure, a tribute rarely accorded to a player.
Kroos not only leaves a legacy as an accomplished player, but also as someone who inspired the next generation. From youngsters who dream of being like him, to teammates who admire his professionalism, Kroos’ influence will continue to be felt long after he leaves the pitch.
When Kroos walked off the pitch in Stuttgart, he not only left shoe prints on the grass, but also a trail of memories in the fans’ hearts. He may have said goodbye, but his story and achievements will live on, retold from one generation to the next.
Toni Kroos, the maestro who calmly directed the ball, has now handed over the baton. However, the music he created on the gridiron will continue to resonate, a symphony that will always be remembered as one of the most beautiful in football history.

Benzema will leave Real Madrid
Karim Benzema will leave Real Madrid this summer, the club announced on Sunday, and he is now expected to sign for Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad.
ESPN reported on Thursday that Benzema had decided to leave the LaLiga giants after 14 years, to accept a lucrative offer from a club in Saudi Arabia.
Benzema is Real Madrid's second-highest goal scorer of all time and has won a joint-record 25 trophies with the club -- including five Champions Leagues and four LaLiga titles -- as well as the 2022 Ballon d'Or.
Stream on ESPN+: LaLiga, Bundesliga, more (U.S.)
"Real Madrid C.F. and our captain Karim Benzema have agreed to put an end to his brilliant and unforgettable time as a player for our club," Madrid said in a statement. "Real Madrid wants to show its gratitude and all its affection for a player who is already one of our greatest legends.
"Karim Benzema's career at Real Madrid has been an example of behaviour and professionalism, and he has represented the values of our club. Karim Benzema has earned the right to decide his future … Real Madrid is and will always be his home, and we wish him and his entire family all the best in this new phase of his life."
The club said an event would be held at its training ground on Tuesday to pay tribute to Benzema.
ESPN reported earlier in the week that Benzema had been offered a two-year contract worth €400 million to move to Saudi Arabia in January, the same deal as Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United.
The centre-forward had been expected to stay at Madrid for one more season until June 2024 but is opting instead to accept a new challenge.
Benzema joined Madrid from Lyon in 2009 and, after a difficult start, found a place alongside Ronaldo and Gareth Bale as one of the club's most successful forward lines.
He took on the mantle of Madrid's lead goal scorer when Ronaldo left in 2018 and had a career-best season last year, scoring 27 times in LaLiga and 15 times in the Champions League as the club won both trophies. That form was recognised when Benzema was awarded the Ballon d'Or in October.
The Madrid captain has struggled with injuries this season, missing the World Cup, but still scored 18 goals in 23 LaLiga games.
His 25 trophies at the club -- a record shared with Marcelo -- consist of four LaLiga titles, five Champions Leagues, three Copas del Rey, four Spanish Supercopas, four UEFA Super Cups and five FIFA Club World Cups.
The Hard Tackle lists three strikers Real Madrid can sign following the departure of Karim Benzema this summer. The end of an era at Real Madrid is near. In a way, one phase has already culminated, with no player signed before 2010 left in the squad when the transfer window reopens this summer. And when Toni Kroos and Luka Modric exit, the dominant team will have ridden into the sunset. But the latest Real Madrid legend to depart is Karim Benzema, who should soon move to Saudi Arabia.
For a third successive summer transfer window, Real Madrid will lose the club captain after Sergio Ramos and Marcelo’s departures in 2021 and 2022, respectively. But Benzema’s exit has the potential to hurt Los Blancos more as they do not have an alternative to the Frenchman in the first-team squad.
While Eder Militao, David Alaba, and Antonio Rudiger have filled Ramos’s void, Alaba and Ferland Mendy are solid left-back options. But Carlo Ancelotti does not have a single recognised striker in the Real Madrid squad to replace Benzema when he calls it a day in the coming weeks.
The 35-year-old is the most successful player in Real Madrid’s history, winning a whopping 25 titles with them. On top of that, the veteran striker is Los Blancos’ second-highest scorer ever. So whoever replaces Benzema at Real Madrid following his departure will have big shoes to fill at the Santiago Bernabeu. With that in mind, The Hard Tackle lists three candidates to succeed the French attacker this summer.
Our list begins with a player at the peak of his powers who has carried his team throughout this season. And with Tottenham Hotspur not playing any European football next season, he might be ripe for the taking. We are, of course, talking about Harry Kane.
The English international has been a goalscoring extraordinaire for Tottenham for nearly a decade. And come rain or shine, he has been a prolific scorer for the North London club. That has never been truer than the 2022/23 season, as he netted 32 goals as Tottenham struggled throughout the season.
Recent reports have suggested that Kane has become the priority target for Real Madrid to replace Benzema. But Los Blancos will compete with Manchester United for the 29-year-old’s signature in the summer transfer window. That said, they will have an advantage in the chase as Tottenham will not sell to another English club.
But Kane has Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League record in his sights. So that gives Manchester United a slight advantage, albeit a minor one. But trophy-winning pedigree gives Real Madrid enough ammo to turn Kane’s head. And there is no doubting his quality and how he is the perfect candidate to fill Benzema’s void at the Bernabeu.
Our list continues with a player closer to the twilight of his career instead of his peak years. But he will not cost Real Madrid anything, enabling them to focus the budget on other big-money arrivals ahead of an expensive rebuild. We are talking about Roberto Firmino.
The Brazilian international has been a legendary performer for Liverpool for nearly a decade. But his stint at Anfield is ending this summer. And like Benzema at Real Madrid, the 31-year-old is leaving Liverpool as a free agent in July.
But Firmino is 31 years old, four years younger than Benzema. And his style of play resonates closely with what the Frenchman has brought to the table throughout his Real Madrid career. The only drawback is the gulf of output, with the Brazilian nowhere near as prolific as Benzema.
Meanwhile, Firmino is also a target for Barcelona, apart from several Serie A clubs. But widespread reports have suggested that the Merengues are the front-runners to sign the Liverpool veteran. In addition, with Endrick arriving next year, landing a short-term solution like Firmino makes a world of sense.
The last name on our shortlist is a bit of a left-of-centre option, considering there have been no reports linking him with Real Madrid. But the potential this teenage prospect has shown in his young career makes him an enticing prospect. We are talking about Vitor Roque.
The 18-year-old recently made his debut for the Brazilian national side and is the talk of the town in his homeland. And Vitor Roque’s progress has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Barcelona, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
But Barcelona cannot afford his high price tag and might push to secure his services next year. That will give Real Madrid a window of opportunity to launch the offensive and beat the Blaugrana to the teenage sensation. As for what Vitor Roque will bring to the table, he is still rough around the edges.
But there is a physical nature to the 18-year-old’s game, and he also runs the hard yards off the ball. That trait, in particular, might make him an ideal successor to Benzema at Real Madrid. But with Endrick arriving as the long-term solution next year, signing another teenager might not be the most sensible decision.

Felix Kroos (spring 2018)
Sorry for spelling or grammar errors. This was also recorded before the World Cup 2018 in Russia.
youtube
N:     Hello, nice to see you. Tell us: who are you?
F:      I’m Felix Kroos. 27 years old and Toni’s brother.
N:     So you grew up in Greifswald. You are slightly younger but nevertheless you are pretty close age-wise. How was that like? Has there ever been anything other than football at home?
F:      Yeah, I mean because of our small age gap we did almost everything together. The same interests; really we did everything together. Sports was always on top of our list. And it wasn’t necessarily always football. I guess we started with badminton. We even went to practice badminton, since our uncle worked as a coach. Our mother also used to play it. But in the end it came down to football very quick. We were maybe five or six years old around that time. So from that day on, for us it was only football. After a while we recognized both that we can play rather decent (smirks) and it’s even more fun if you successful doing it. So we committed doing it and now we are here…
N:     What turned you off badminton? It also a nice sport…
F:      Sure, but for me one reason was the fact that you were able to win more trophies why football was better.
N:     So it was all about winning…
F:      Yeah, maybe it was all about winning even back then… but I would say almost every boy played football on the streets before and it was just fun. So this automatically led us to football. My father worked as a coach as well… so we almost had no other choice. But we liked it (laughs)
N:     (laughs). Did he also directly coached you guys?
F:      Yeah, yeah. He basically followed everything over the years from the very beginning. He stopped once we got into professional areas of football. But he definitely followed our path for a very long time.
N:     Where you actually able to deal with him in a neutral way? Or did have moments sometimes where you would think „Oh come on dad! You saw I scored!“ How was that like?
F:      (smirks). Sometimes like this; sometimes like that. It wasn’t always easy. You didn’t want to be lectured by him all the time especially once you grew older. Because once you were getting home it was all about football again – so in that sense we never really had a breack (smirks). But in the end you can say that it helped us. I think thats one of the reasons why we are at the point we are today.
N:     Were you able to say for yourself, „I dont want to play football anymore“ Or was that something that never really reached your mind?
F:      I never really had any thoughs about that. It never reached me. I was rather successful and it was still fun. A great mixture success and fun. So thats why those thoughts never came up – no.
N:     What did you think, did you do different than your brother to be successful? Did you do things differently?
F:      I think so. Talent was there – but thats not the only recipe you need. We did a lot of extra stuff. Extra sessions. Which was something – again, we were able to do together. Everything around has was put aside – we had to renounce alot oft hings in life. But also because we wanted it. This – adding talent and hard work, brought us to were we are today.
N:     Were you able to give yourself some extra love and support because you did everything together?
F:      Yes, I think so. Like I said, we were always together since we were little kids. We were everywhere on the road together. And we became even closer once Toni left home for Munich at the age of sixteen. We became closer. We had almost daily contact with each other. We dont even need words anymore, we always know what one thinks the other is thinking. Support is always there. Regardless what happens. Thats something everyone knows from the other.
N:     But it is crazy isn’t it, if somebody leaves home so early in life? I mean you are still a child right?
F:      Yeah. I couldn’t imagine it at that age myself. It was definitely a brave step, but Toni was always a guy who made clear decisions. Sure he had some thoughts about it, but he always stood behind his decisions. And he always was striving for the best. It was the path which led to Munich (laughs).
N:     Sure. But until 2010 he was always the youngest player on the pitch. Thats something you have to accomplish right?
F:      Yeah definitely – he always was the best. Since he was little. In every team he played. Striving for the best was always something he was used to. The fact he beats records doing it – may not be normal, but forseeable.
N:     Does it maybe come from yourself. That you look into the mirrow and say to yourself „I’am the best“?
F:      I don’t. (laughs) I can’t speak for others. I don’t think Toni does it too – saying „I’am the best“. He is just convinced of his own strength. He knows he is good, if he performs well and shows his skills and does what he does best. That he doesn’t have to be afraid of something. And he knows it – every day. Without him standing in front of the mirrow telling himself everyday how good he is. (smirks)
N:     If you go back to your childhood. Do you remember your first football? How did it look like?
F:      Well that was very long ago. We have become older ourselves over the meantime (smirks).
N:     Was it like a real ball – or didn’t you start with a small, light rubber ball?
F:      No, I think it was a real one. Anyway we grew up very protected. We didn’t lack anything. Maybe because we didn’t need much – except a ball (laughs). But I think it was a normal football – even back then and you never let someone else take it away from you.
N:     Did you have posters of famous football players in your room?
F:      Yes. I was back then – because oft he geografical distance, Rostock fan. So in that regard I had posters of Rostock players, but I cant tell which players percisely. Toni was a Werder fan – Werder Bremen fan. But he had almost everything on his walls. Football players – but not exclusively from one club.
N:     But baskatball has also been a great deal. NBA, right?
F:      Yeah thats when basketball kind of came along – the older he got. „The older he got“ (rolls eyes) well were aren’t that old yet – you have to be careful saying that (laughs). But to a degree where we are watching more basketball on TV than football.
N:     Perhaps to get some distance…?
F:      Yeah I mean you deal with football almost every day. I think it’s important to see something different once in a while. And to focus your interest on other things. Without lacking your focus on your own performance – your own job, so to speak. But nevertheless I think it’s important to see other things as well.
N:     Did he lace up your shoes?
F:      I could be, yes (laughs). I really don’t have good memory on that one. But sure he did. He did quite some stuff being a „big brother“.
N:     Did you share food in a brotherly fashion?
F:      Ehm, well sure we did have arguments at home like you usually have as siblings but in the end nothing bad ever happend.
N:     Favorite food?
F:      With regards to Toni it’s very easy: a Schnitzel with potatoes. He even eats fried potatoes without anything - without onions. He is very simple on those terms.
N:     How about you?
F:      Back in the day it was – I don’t know if people remember them, but yeast-dough dumpling from grandma. (laughs). Really good – even today! (laughs) But I like to eat everything: sushi, meat, Döner, everything.
N:     Well it all tastes great.
F:      Yeah (smirks).
N:     Ok, back home. I would like to know, have there been like special agreements, code words, nicknames during your childhood? Something that bonded you together? Did you went off road with bikes… or…
F:      There was always a sort of competition between us two. We really made a competition out of nothing. Even then we did a bike tour, the question always was „who gets to the finishline first?“ We were always looking for competition. It was always about winning. And we were both different in that regard. I was the grimly guy that and Toni by contrast was always very smooth and easygoing. He had to laugh about everything I did, which (laughs) made me sometimes really angry. We were very different in that regard. Yet – we always wanted to compete. Almost everywhere and thats something that has bonded us together.
N:     How does he deal with loosing?
F:      Sure he doesn’t like it. But he has a very relaxed way of dealing with defeats….
N:     And you?
F:      It’s fine now. I would never say I like to loose, but you realize that there are more important things than loosing a football game.
        (10:00min)
N:     You are a successful football player yourself – If something doesn’t really go well, how do you deal with that? Do you speak with each other? I mean it is a lot of pressure… all the fans in the stadium… everybody watches every move you make very closely…
F:      Yeah sure. Both of us know how it all works. Everyone of us has experiences in that regard. So we both can feel how the other one is feeling. And that there is always support. But like I said: we don’t need a lot of words. We know from each other, what the other person is thinking. Sure we do have some words of encouragement occasionally. He uses them more for me than I do for him (laughs)… Since he wins more often. Just the fact, that each of us knows that the other is there for you – and that he knows how it looks like with the other brother, thats enough.
N:     And your mom? Do you have to go to your mom sometimes? (laughs)
F:      (laughs) No, you have to comfort her more sometimes than yourself… (laughs) But there is always support coming from them as well. They are rooting for us everytime… sometimes more than they anticipate. In some situations they are more upset than us. I mean they almost gave up everything for us. They have always been there for us and brought us to where we are today.
N:     Crazy unconditional love…
F:      Yeah… like I said, they did almost everything for us. Without reservations. We didn’t miss anything in our childhood, we had everything. And maybe you try to give something back in our age or our position now.
N:     Support…
F:      Yes, you know realize that there are things in life more important than football. Things that ARE more important. Sometimes you should never forget. Even now with Toni’s Foundation. We are doing a lot of things and try to support many people. People that weren’t as lucky as we were. You get to know that football is not everything…
N:     But I would guess it is difficult isn’t it? Because you have a certain amount of income… when you see a nice car. Do you think if you get to know a sick child or meet their family… I mean does that change something within yourself?
F:      Yes, absolutely! I remember going into one special hospital for the first time. I have never seen anything like this before. It’s really difficult, yet – I can recommend to everyone to take a look for themselves and see how strong these people are. How good these people cope with their fates and circumstances. You are nothing against that as a football player. Those are the real everyday heros! Like I said, I would recommend everyone to see this on their own. Because you quickly realize that your problems aren’t as bis as they seem…
N:     Yeah I can imagine. Will you be in Russia?
F:      I will definitely watch the first game live in the stadium. I have to look at my schedule after that. How long do I have vacation? But sure, I will at least see one game in Russia.
N:     Have you ever been there before?
F:      No.
N:     Are you excited?
F:      Well it wasn’t my number one travel destination. But if you can connect the two, it gives you an opportinity to see Russia. I look forward to it.
N:     It’s nice there.
F:      Yeah, we will see.
N:     I can recommend it. Do you have a special wish for your brother? Is there something you want to tell him?
F:      No, not really. Of course you wish him health and success - generally speaking. He should just enjoy it. I think not many football players are able to play at a world cup. And maybe in a few years you will look back and you start to feel sorry for not enjoying it. So that’s why I think he should just enjoy it.
N:     What about Real? Do you sometimes visit Madrid?
F:      I haven’t been to a game yet. It just doesn’t fit my schedule…
N:     …because you both are playing at the same time…
F:      Not being able to just go there for a short trip - it annoys me pretty much. I have been to Madrid a couple of times, just to see him. But I think at one point I’ll be able to watch one of his games live. Yet I follow every game via I-pad or TV.
N:     Well, I guess he watches your games as well…
F:      Yeah, yeah – if he doesn’t play at the same time as I do, he watches my games too. We always watch each others games.
N:     What about your future? Is there something you want to achieve?
F:      I just try to… ehm try the best under the current circumstances. So that I don’t have to regret something later. I don’t want to plan what I want to do in one year, two years. I want to do whats right now and what I think is right. So with that I won’t regret anything later on. (laughs)
N:     What I always want to know – I also have siblings. Two brothers who play in Croatia. What’s it like to go onto the pitch with everyone chanting your name?
F:      It’s a nice feeling – everytime. It’s never a daily routine. It’s always special.
N:     Are you nervous?
F:      Tense – yes. Nervous, yes maybe a bit. But not in negative way. Also positive…
N:     …motivating…
F:      Yes, motivating. It’s always something special – every time. It never became a daily routine and it never will be… And I think thats something which a lot of players will miss once their career is over. Those moments.
N:     Goosebumps right?
F:      Yeah…
N:     Once Toni got to play for Bayern Munich for the first time… How was that for you? Where you there?
F:      I was watching it on TV – yes. I think he was a subsitute player that game. And I can remember very vividly that he made to assists that game. I just went like it went before through his youth. It was the perfect first game… I think he played for some twenty minutes… but I think that was more emotional than his world cup win. Because it seems that you finally reached the place you always trained and worked to get to. That your dreams have finally come true… thats a moment you probably will never forget.
N:     Exactly, you are living your dream… but there are so many other players – so many others. And sometimes it just takes a few minutes and your spot on the team is gone. How can you motivate or calm yourself so you dont get discomfort or fear of not making it? Everybody is interchangeable. Do you really get away from that fear? Sure you finally fulfill your dream but it doesn’t mean anything…
F:      Yeah, I mean often dreams are different than reality. Sure, if you in the game for some ten years, you can‘t say „Now I have fulfilled my dream!“. Not everyday is going to be like that. It’s always hard work. Nevertheless there is always a sense of satisfaction. Because, I mean, not many people can say about themselves they fufilled their childhood dream. Thats why investing a lot in it is always worth the cost. Everybody should always believe in it – in themselves. Regardless whether it works at the first opportunity or the next. If you have a dream – you should follow it.
N:     Don’t you sometimes crave for a relaxed time with slippers and a beer in your hand… or not (laughs).
F:      Well sometimes I do have those thoughs (smirks)… just let everything go. Not to think about what do I have to eat now. Or can I stay up later than usual? The ability to just decide freely what you want to do… it‘s something you look forward to but maybe in a couple of years down the road. You know the time will come – someday…
N:     As long as your body can handle it…
F:      Yeah right.
N:     Do you have real close friendships with other players with teams you’re playing in?
F:      Yes, I do. Not many but…
N:     Is it because of the competition?
F:      No, No… I don’t think so… I think it takes a year to build a friendship. And… I mean I played in Bremen for about six years now… and it felt I played with over 100 different players. You can‘t build friendships with that, players have come and gone over that period of time it’s not possible. But there are one or two guys among the players who stayed there for six years like I did … where you have a stronger bond and you made friends with. It’s possible - but very rare.
N:     But do you still have a relationship to Greifswald, to Rostock?
F:      Yes Greifwald, because grandma and grandpa still live there. As well as uncle and aunts.
N:     Can they live in peace or are they…
F:      Yeah, they have their peace.
N:     Everyone knows…
F:      ….well yeah everyone knows them. Sometimes people ask. But no, uncle and anuts are still there. My cousin moved there with his small family lately. My parents still live in Rostock. Mostly family but not really friends still live there.
N:     You are in Berlin?
F:      I’m in Berlin, yes. I like it.
N:     Well thats not far from home right?
F:      No, thats fine. If we only had a good airport it would be easier to reach the city (laughs)
N:     (laughs) Hey don’t grouse about Tegel airport! The nice thing about Tegel airport is two steps you are out of the plane; two steps you get through the airport; two steps our out of it!
F:      Well, yeah….
N:     Ok, I see. You want the new international airport…
F:      (laughs) But I guess I won’t be in Berlin once its finished.
N:     So you do have dreams and you want to play somewhere else?
F:      No. But I won’t play for another ten years. Thats pretty clear to me. I already know I will be going back to Bremen once my career is over. And yes, if the new airport needs another ten years to get finished it will be difficult for myself.
N:     Thankfully you dont need an airplane to Bremen. (laughs)
F:      Yeah (laughs).

World Cup Togel Hongkong Calendar Poster
World Cup Togel Hongkong Calendar Poster
Designer David Watson of    play bazaar   design studio Trebleseven has created the poster to support Soccer Aid.
The idea is simple: sales of the A1 double sided poster raises money for Soccer Aid - a British charity event which raises money for UNICEF.
The front side of the poster (below) lists all the groups, A-H so you can clearly see which countries are in which group. A calendar runs down the right hand side listing chronologically all the matches to be played in the tournament.
 World Cup Calendar Poster
The reverse of the poster (below) functions Togel Hongkong as a bold World Cup calendar - showing clearly what games are being played on each day.
The A1 double sided poster, produced in collaboration with G&B printers and PhoeniXmotion paper, is currently on press but will be available to buy soon for £10 (£7 for the print, £3 for post/packaging).
 Johannesburg Fan Parks.
Johannesburg's Fan Parks are located at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown (official FIFA World Cup fan park), Innes-Free Park in Sandton and Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown.
In Nelspruit the fan park is planned for Bergvlam Hoerskool, in Durban on the Beach Front and the fan parks are yet to be announced for Polokwane and Rustenburg.
South African Breweries (SAB) will provide the beer at all the Fifa Fan Fests and will increase production ahead of the finals to meet the increased demand.
 Ballack Out Of World Cup
Michael Ballack has probably played in his last major tournament for Germany. Chelsea's German midfielder limped out of the FA Cup final with an ankle injury sustained in a tackle with Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The ankle injury rules their Captain and inspiration out for eight weeks and means Germany manager, Joachim Low, will have to rethink his team with less than a month to the start of the tournament.
Germany are in tough looking group with Australia, Ghana & Serbia, and Ballack is still an integral component of the team, nearing 100 caps and having played in every major tournament since 2000. He will be greatly missed and will be a difficult hole to fill.
So who will step into Ballack's shoes? Low has called on the squad to pull together and for the younger players to use the opportunity to grow into major roles. Germany are traditionally a side who go for experience but Low's provisional 27-man squad has a real youthful look to it, with six players aged 20 or 21.
Bastian Schweinsteiger has had a fine season for Bayern Munich who have captured the Bundesliga title and could win the Champions League. He's a cert for the centre of the park. Alongside
Schweinsteiger will be Hamburg's Piotr Trochowski. Depending on Low's chosen shape this leaves at least one, maybe two, midfield spots.
Lazio midfielder, Thomas Hitlsperger, played in nearly all the qualifying games but is also missing from the squad after being snubbed. His January move from Stuttgart to Italy was Low's reason for leaving him out. Other absences from the squad include Simon Rolfes & Aaron Hunt to there will be a posse of youngsters vying for the final midfield berth.
Mesut Özil (8 caps), Marko Marin (7), Sami Khedira (3), Toni Kroos (2) and Christian Träsch (2) are all 23 or younger and Low will be keeping a careful eye on them all as he ponders the best replacement for his talismanic skipper.

England vs. Germany In The Euro 2021 Round Of 16 Match Lineups, TV, Streaming, Odds, And Forecasts
Tumblr media
England vs. Germany: On September 16, this became the suit to watch for Euro 2021. When England and Germany meet, they don't hold back. And in this natural football rivalry born out of excessive-stakes fits in the main tournaments, Tuesday’s Euro 2021 round of sixteen elimination game has predominant implications. A loss could constitute a failure for both international locations. However, the winner may have an extraordinary shot at making the event final with less-heralded fighters (however much less dangerous) on the horizon: Sweden and Ukraine are in the quarterfinals, followed by Denmark and the Czech Republic in the semifinals. Euro 2021A loss could constitute a failure for both international locations. However, the winner may have an extraordinary shot at making the event final with less-heralded fighters (however much less dangerous) on the horizon: Sweden and Ukraine are in the quarterfinals, followed by Denmark and the Czech Republic in the semifinals. England is thought to have the most talented squad in its history, and it hopes to capitalize on that talent and win its first-ever Euros. This might be its first-class risk since it hosted the tournament in 1996: This round of 16, as well as the tournament semi-finals and final, are all taking place at Wembley Stadium in London.
Tumblr media
Germany has won the Euro competition three times, but the last time was in 1996 when the Germans knocked off England in their own style at Wembley Stadium due to identification. They enter this round of 16 sports with plenty of question marks from an erratic institution level and a lame-duck headteacher (Joachim Low is leaving after the event). But they also have a protracted status recognition of rising as much as winning trophies, while others have counted them out. That German never-say-die spirit has intimidated many combatants around the world, and it's likely to return to play on Tuesday, albeit with England bearing the burden of the "favorite" designation and a legitimate cause. to playing domestic, Gareth Southgate’s group didn’t concede a single intention in its organization video games. However, it was not particularly convincing in terms of performance and goals scored. Blend all those ingredients together with a huge 40,000-person crowd expected at Wembley, and you’ve got yourself the makings of a classic.
Tumblr media
How can I watch England vs. Germany in the United States? Date: Tuesday, June 29 Time: 12 pm ET ESPN is a television channel. Spanish-language TV: Univision, TUDN. Streaming: FuboTV, ESPN app, TUDN.television. ESPN will convey England vs. Germany in English, with Univision and TUDN presenting the Spanish-language coverage. Each network will need to be available on FuboTV (free 7-day trial). Starting Lineups England (three-4-3, left to right): Jordan Pickford-GK — Harry Maguire, John Stones, Kyle Walker — Luke Shaw, Declan Rice, Kalvin Phillips, Kieran Trippier — Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka Germany (3-four-3, left to right): Manuel Neuer-GK — Matthias Ginter, Antonio Rudiger, Mats Hummels — Robin Gosens, Toni Kroos, Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich — Thomas Muller, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz.
Tumblr media
How will Germany play? Low's most effective change to his 3-four-three starting lineup at some point at the group level was to move it to the front three. He brought on Leroy Sane for Thomas Muller in the third organized game against Hungary. The front three of Muller-Werner-Havertz will face England.Leon Goretzka is also a viable option for Ilkay Gundogan, who is still recovering from a head injury. Low needs to be expected to play on the counterattack against England, which explains the choice of the rapid Timo Werner (he is also fresh). The Muller/Sane choice changed into another exciting one, with Low ultimately choosing Muller's savvy to begin with. Sane will come off the bench. Southgate's choices England has developed unique formations beneath Southgate, and numerous English media outlets effectively predicted Southgate to counter Germany's three-four-three formation with an equal formation, introducing a third vital defender. There has been no agreement on which wing should be used.It turns out that Kieran Trippier will take the place of Bukayo Saka.Luke Shaw was chosen as the left wingback ahead of Ben Chilwell, who has been under pressure to self-isolate in recent days after being in contact with a COVID-19 great case case (Scotland's Billy Gilmour).Mason Mount, an English midfielder, has been in Chilwell's shoes and hasn't been educated very often. He was also not included in the starting XI. Many need to see Jadon Sancho inside the mix given his experience against German players for the duration of his time together with his membership group, Borussia Dortmund, in Germany. However, he’s performed six mins to date and if he, it's going to be off the bench. England vs. Germany: odds & predictions Southgate has been doing his best to downplay it, but this English group is under strain and the burden of expectations, the group and the history of failures will make for a charming dynamic and one which the Germans need to surely play into. Germany could be satisfied with sitting again and letting England have the initiative and the ball. In that scenario, Low’s men will look to pounce at moments of high pressure and on lightning-speedy counterattacks. German attackers Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, who each play for Chelsea FC in London, have the skill set to shine in that form of the game. England also doesn't have much of a home-discipline advantage: it hasn't beaten Germany at Wembley in the last seven meetings.Given the English team we’ve seen within the organization — tight, worrying, and unsure of itself — this isn't always a gap you want to widen towards Germany. England has recently "delivered it home," but it won't get this pregame prediction until the country's squad has proven that it has its own many complexes and is comfortable strutting among Europe's elite. Prediction: England 1, Germany 3 Odds courtesy of DraftKings - England to win (90 mins): +138 - England to improve: -one hundred thirty - Draw (90 minutes): +230 - Germany to win (ninety mins): +210 - Germany to strengthen: +110 - Germany will win, and each group will score between +500 and +500. - Germany -zero.25 Asian Handicap: +165 - Germany +0.25 Asian Handicap: -124 - Over 2.five total goals: +108 - Overall ball possession by way of Germany is under 51.5%: +one hundred twenty. PhantomVSN is planned for suffering segments with ACC (All Condition Control) covering and to verify the last thing. So you understand they are set up for use in each and every atmosphere condition.
The general target of the balance model is to oblige smart cuts in all the heading, and it plays out very well in the game. Adidas Copa 19.1

While the fitting offers a comparable name as the OG Copa Mundial, COPA 19.1 is worked off the ground with bleeding edge development. Adidas endeavored to draw out the best calfskin boots (pleasant fit, fragile padded touch) with progressively momentum features, for instance, a strong match and reduced water ingestion. COPA 19.1 is maybe the mildest projection in the market. It similarly marries its ideal shape with one of the gentlest, most superb pillowy calfskin upper I've anytime had. In any case, to ensure the thin shape is taken care of, Adidas has presented a "burrito tongue". It similarly diminishes any mass as an untimely idea and trim zone and verifies it your feet.
The effect of burrito tongue is of most extraordinary essentialness as it imitates the weight of Nike Tiempo Legend 7's Flyknit tongue. The adaptable band of burrito tongue didn't expand unnecessarily and kept the feet to some degree secure. Regardless, I had a nice space for my fingers, and perhaps I was brushing myself against sensitive fogs.
Specialists
Best calfskin spikes
Diminished water ingestion
Mildest projection
Engaging arrangement
Cons
Low solidness
Doesn't have a by and large phenomenal ground balance
Nike Tiempo Legend 7

One explanation we've included such an enormous number of kangaroo cowhide spikes in this summary is in light of the fact that this material is the best choice for a huge bit of the defenders. It's totally pleasant, offers a splendid first touch, and feels wonderful when you pass the ball. As opposed to strikers and midfielders, you don't by and large need to have a super-light shoe that is expected for shooting or running at top speed (disregarding the way that adroitness can be useful for fullbacks).
Nevertheless, the material isn't the primary remarkable thing about the Tiempos. They incorporate an extraordinarily created heel that incorporates sponsorship and protection, and the lower leg trustworthiness is mind boggling. Like most Nike spikes, these are a great option for central defenders. Nevertheless, they're not unassuming, and the outsole can isolate after some time, especially on the off chance that you're on and on shooting.
Experts
Really pleasing
Incredibly fragile upper
Versatile anyway stable arrangement
No slippage by virtue of perfect fit
Cons
Not really tough
Adidas Men's Nemeziz 19+
The thing has the going with judgments
Adidas is to be certain the rulers of central midfielder spikes. Players, for instance, David Silva, Paul Pogba and Toni Kroos use their things for the straightforwardness and control they offer.
Nemeziz 19 is exceptional in light of the way that it packs most of Adidas' best advancement into a single pair of spikes. You get semi-round spikes that give incredible spryness, which makes sharp cuts and turns less complex. For further help while spilling, these spikes go with the authorized "status work" outer material, that improves contact and control. The surface also holds the ball while passing and shooting, making it a breeze to put the ball definitely.
As you envision from Nemeziz's line, 19 is completely extreme, it should in any occasion one full season, dependent upon how consistently you play. Furthermore, they have reasonable expenses and landed in a heap of spectacular tones. You really can not switch Nemeziz 19 as a central midfielder.
Stars
Unprecedented control
Incredibly cleaned
Light and facilitated
Reasonable expense
Cons
Poor clamminess confirmation
Adidas Men's Predator 18+
Buy From Amazon
The thing has the going with judgments
While Adidas Copa Mundial prevails because of its gem and undying arrangement. The Adidas Predator 18+ addresses the contrary side of the range: the latest projection advancement in soccer. The Adidas Predator course of action is the best choice for an extensive parcel of the world's most observable footballers.
David Beckham, Mesut Ozil and Dele Alli consider as a piece of Adidas Predator customers, so you understand you will be in a respectable association. This "Primeknit" adaptation, made of first rate built material, gives a customer more comfort and a spikes affiliation that isn't just found in standard spikes. This stand-out component makes Adidas Predator 18+ one of the most pleasant of the bleeding edge time, similarly as one of the best laceless spikes for this game.
Experts
Incredible and ever-enduring structure
Used by top soccer players
Genuinely pleasant
High quailty
Cons

Mexico vs. Germany: Match preview, lineups and how to watch
Will Mexico compromise the way they play against a fearsome Germany squad?
Germany, 2014 World Cup champions, will play Mexico in a Group F match on Sunday morning. The match will be held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow at 11 a.m. on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports Go.
Mexico says they won’t compromise the way they play, but Germany is built to punish that
Before the match, Mexico coach Juan Carlos Osorio spoke about the upcoming game against Germany, and made clear that his team wouldn’t change the way they played no matter who was the opponent.
From ESPN:
“We can compete with them,” Osorio said in the pregame news conference on Saturday. “We think we have a good chance to match up against the best team in world football and go head-to-head against them.”
”I completely believe in my players and I believe that with the midfielders we have we can dispute the possession,” added Osorio later on. “We have to respect the opponent, but ... we will not change our idea of playing. We’ll always go toe-to-toe.”
Before I go further, I should point out that this could entirely be him playing possum, and Mexico will come out tomorrow in a practical, defensive formation that seeks to limit Germany’s ability to do what they’ve shown they can do.
But if they do what Osorio says they’re going to do, come out and try to beat Germany at the possession game, and press high through the midfield, and really go at them, I’m nervous for Mexico’s chances. I admire his decision, and Osorio might believe it’s best to keep his team’s confidence high and buy totally into an identity.
The problem is, the Germany team is built to break down teams that try to do this to them. Germany’s midfield is among the finest in the world. (Well, every position for Germany is among the finest in the world.) They are extremely good at breaking out of high pressure, linking passes, and getting the ball into the feet of their attackers, who are very good at scoring. This isn’t the same side as the last World Cup, but if you remember the Brazil semifinal where Germany won 7-1, you know what can happen when a team decides they aren’t going to change how they play against the Germans.
Toni Kroos, Julian Draxler, Sami Khedira, Leon Goretzka, Mesut Ozil, Marco Reus, Thomas Mueller, all options for coach Joachim Löw to break down a Mexico press. They’ll be taking on an exciting, energetic, though slightly raw Mexico side which as of late has, in friendlies, looked a bit disjointed. You can’t be disjointed against Germany.
I hope I’m wrong. I pray I’m wrong. I want Mexico to play high pressing, possession-oriented, beautiful soccer and for it to work against Germany. But as my colleague Kim McCauley wrote this morning, this has been the World Cup of cold reality so far. The practical teams have done well. The teams that want to Go For It have failed. Such is tournament soccer. Let’s hope this match bucks the trend.

— Rodolfo Landeros (@RodolfoLanderos) June 17, 2018
Can Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez score in his third straight World Cup?
Chicharito has led the Mexico front line for years, and remains the leader of the team’s attack in Russia. However, a spotty year for West Ham, which saw Hernandez struggle to find consistent time and only score eight goals, has some Mexico fans concerned he isn’t in the form you want a striker to be in heading into a World Cup. We will see.
It’s time for the Timo Werner show
Werner is just 22 years old, but after two back-to-back electrifying seasons for RB Leipzig, which saw him score 42 goals in two years, he’s ready to lead the front line for Germany. He’s only made 14 appearances for his country so far, but he has eight goals in those 14 appearances, a haul that’s sort of flabbergasting. Mexico’s defensive line will have their hands full.

If you’re in the United States, you will undoubtedly hear hand-wringing and angry chest-thumping about not rooting for your most hated rival. While Mexico is a rival on the field, off of the field our countries are entangled so deep throughout history that no amount of xenophobia masquerading as patriotism can erase it.
FMF State of Mind: Mexico hoping for deep World Cup run after ghastly year
On paper, you might think this Mexico team is coming in as hot as ever to the world’s biggest celebrated sporting event. After all, El Tri ran past everyone in CONCACAF qualifying en route to finishing first in the hexagonal with a five point difference from first place to second place. They also scored the most goals (16) and conceded the least (7). Osorio’s overall record of 30-9-9 is deceiving yet positive to the naked eye.
Bavarian Football Works: How should Germany line up against Mexico?
As far as the squad makeup is concerned, Germany have several new faces debuting in Russia. Gone are the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Miroslav Klose, and Philipp Lahm. Joshua Kimmich steps into the shoes of the former Germany captain, while the much of the core of the team has been retained from 2014.
