what is your second most favorite thing about roscobell and what is your second least favorite thing about roscobell (can be the character, creating, writing, etc)

(hi mike (wakowski?)) i think the favourite would be figuring her out in general, actually! she has a pretty convoluted path to walk in order to get to the endpoint i have in mind for her and it’s really fun puzzling out what things she would do and wouldn’t do in line with her morals and familial obligations. as a character i would say i enjoy how selective she is about what she says and to whom, and the way working her pov as she interacts with people who aren’t merilance, i feel, is fun because i get to explore a lot of different sides of her :-)

my second most unfavourite thing about her is probably that she has a really particular way of speaking — i wanted to make distinct dialects between different locations and people/s, but because she’s such a major character, it’s difficult to present her thoughts in a way that both matches her narration to her dialogue while making it not boring or repetitive to get through.
