Force, I am SO frustrated with the Filonification of popular Star Wars. People keep on trying to make arguments about Star Wars, yet they refuse to actually watch Star Wars and make sensible criticisms about it because they’re literally just parroting whatever weird non-canonical shit Felony spit out in an article last week.
I was looking at this article:
And I was legitimately trying to look at the criticisms and see if I can agree with any of them, but they don’t make any sense and I can just feel Filoni oozing off them.
So imma rant, got it?
Mistake Number 1 that led to the fall of the order: They were too much into politics.
More specifically, the article claims that “they very much had a hand in the flipping the Senate” with reference to the Vote of No Confidence for Valorum in tpm, but it’s been a minute and a half since I saw the prequels, so I read the Wookie summary, and I might’ve missed something but I don’t think there’s any mention of them, like, voting or doing anything significant in the Senate in ep1? I feel like it would’ve been mentioned if it was even vaguely implied that the Jedi mind tricked the senate or lobbied for the vote to go one way or another, but it isn’t mentioned anywhere and it don’t square with what I remember, so I’m guessing they just made this up and convinced themselves it was canon? Tell me if you can figure out what they’re talking about or if there is a canon basis I missed.
Other than that, I do not remember a single scene where we saw the Jedi do anything more political than take orders from politicians or exist in the senate building in the prequels.
Mistake Number 2 that led to the fall of the order: Suppressing Baby Murderer’s emotions.

A Take, certainly. So this one’s talking about Anakin’s grief over his mother’s death, which I agree would be a fucked-up thing to suppress. That’d suck. If it actually happened because
the Jedi do not know that Anakin’s mom is dead. They do not know that Anakin and PadmĂ© went to Tatooine, since they were ordered to stay on Naboo. They are utterly unaware of everything that happens on Tatooine aside from Yoda feeling the Tusken Massacre in the Force. Yeah, Anakin told Obi-Wan that he’d had dreams about his mom dying, and he didn’t do anything about it, but that wasn’t Obi Wan suppressing Anakin’s emotions—that was just him saying that it sucked that he had a bad dream, since I don’t think Anakin said it could’ve been a vision or anything, so this one doesn’t land at all. Where did they get this idea???
Mistake Number 3 that led to the fall of the order: ‘Allowing’ Maul to take over Mandalore (somehow?)
I can feel my brain cells dying. Maul joined up with a terrorist group and some crime gangs to forcefully take over a neutral system. None of that was ‘allowed’ by the Jedi. They also say that the Jedi ‘sent’ Obi Wan to get rid of Maul when I remember Yoda telling Obi Wan some shit like “Send anyone to Mandalore the Jedi cannot” and then Obi Wan went to Mandalore anyway and it didn’t do shit. Anyway I feel like the author of this article might own a ridiculously annoying cowboy hat. Just a hunch.
Mistake Number 4 that led to the fall of the order: Baselessly Exiling Ahsoka (Baselessly?? There very much was base)
So. Wrong Jedi Arc my beloathed. Here we are again. The article claims that the Jedi “exiled Ahsoka Tano on mere suspicion alone and didn't even confirm whether she was involved in the bombing of the Jedi Temple or not”. Which. Hmm. So, there was a big investigation into the bombing that pretty definitely said that Ahsoka was almost certainly the bomber. It wasn’t ‘mere suspicion’, it was all the fucking evidence very clearly pointing to her. She ran away, she worked with a damn separatist assassin, she was found in a warehouse filled with the bombs. The audience know she was framed, but the characters don’t because the whole point of framing someone is to convince the other people they did it. If the Jedi had exiled her for this, they would’ve been being very reasonable and justified. Will also point out that the Jedi were forced by the Senate to exile her and did not want to. They apologized and let her back in as soon as they possibly could.
Also there’s this weird (actually!) baseless claim that Ahsoka was one of the most powerful Jedi in the Clone Wars. Which has no proof because it’s untrue—she’s a padawan with max 2 years of training. There’s no way she’s more powerful than a fully trained knight, of which there were still quite a few. But of course she is, because she’s Felony’s beloved OC who can do no wrong.
Mistake Number 5 that led to the fall of the order: Not giving Baby Murderer power
I am convinced that no one involved in writing or editing this article has actually watched RotS, and has only ever listened to Felony talk about RotS. They claim that ‘they invited Anakin over to the Council as a pseudo-member and his only task was to spy on the Chancellor. Not only was this political meddling once again, but it was also an insult to Anakin’ oh no, they insulted Anakin, clearly this means he’s justified in murdering them! Also, the Jedi Council apparently wanted to appoint Anakin, they weren’t literally forced into it by Palpatine. You know, that scene where Palpatine is like “yeah, I’ve forced the council to put you on the council even though they don’t want you there. You’re my spy on the council now” that didn’t happen actually. The Jedi were completely evil in not allowing the unstable baby murderer a full seat on their governing body when they were forced to put him there through nepotism. Them asking the only guy who’s close enough with the chancellor to investigate him because he’s overstayed his term and is overreaching with his powers is also completely evil and awful and unjustified. Uh huh.
Mistake Number 6 that led to the fall of the order: Mace Windu Wants To Kill Palpatine Right Away (direct quote from the article)
Yeah, you read that right. I can’t make this shit up, but filoni sure as fuck can. So, Mace Windu learns that the shady Chancellor that’s been overreaching with his authority and has overstated his term is also an evil Sith that has manipulated both sides of the war to gain power, causing the deaths of millions, including a shit ton of Mace’s people and friends, because said chancellor drafted them to fight in the war that he created. This would make Mace pretty damn justified in killing Palpy imo, but Mace specifically goes to arrest him for his crimes. Palpatine then kills three other Jedi Masters in cold blood and attempts to kill Mace, and when Mace beats him he still tries to arrest him—y’know that whole “You are under arrest, my lord” bit?—until the guy tries to fucking electrocute him with his fucking hands and it becomes clear that there is no way to take him in peacefully. Only after palpatine murders 3 people in front of him, attempts to murder Mace in combat, and makes it clear that he cannot be taken in alive does Mace attempt to kill him. No matter how you slice it, that’s not him wanting to kill the bitch right away.
Also the article tries to say that Anakin wanted to bring Palpatine in because he recognized that he should stand trial, which is technically what he says, but he also screams “I need him!” in that same scene so I think we know why he really doesn’t want Palpy to die.
Mistake Number 7 that led to the fall of the order: They didn’t train Luke and Leia
Now this might seem baffling because the article is supposedly talking about things that caused the fall of the order and Luke and Leia weren’t even born until after the fall of the order, but I can assure you that the article does not explain this in any way.
Still, let’s pretend this makes sense with the subject of the article and press on. The article asks what was stopping Obi Wan from training Luke as a Jedi on Tatooine. I feel like the answer might have something to do with the fact that the twins were so powerful that the Jedi were afraid that the emperor could sense them if they were next to each other. Formal training would make them stronger and more likely to be sensed, so they didn’t do it until they had to. This probably would be the most reasonable thing in here if the article wasn’t about what caused the fall of the order.
Mistake Number 8 that led to the fall of the order: Not telling Luke about Vader
Yet another Thing That Lead to the Fall of the Jedi Order that somehow happened after the fall of the order, but if I focus on that I might start screaming, so we move on.
This article leads you to believe that all the problems in ESB could’ve been solved if only Obi Wan had told Luke about Vader. Hmm. Yoda says in RoJ that Luke wasn’t ready for the information when he was told at the end of ESB, which seems very true based on the fact that Luke was unable to accept the information when told, was described by George Lucas as suicidal afterwards, and is suddenly unable to consider killing Mr. Evil Baby Murderer Space Fascist afterwards because of their family connection, and you want Obi-Wan to tell him earlier?
You know that OT Luke would, upon hearing that information before Cloud City, have immediately jumped in his X-Wing and raced to confront Vader. If he found Vader in that state, Luke would’ve been even more unbalanced and unfocused, which would’ve lead to him losing the duel worse and being either killed or captured by Vader, since Leia wouldn’t have been close enough to save him.
Mistake Number 9 that led to the fall of the order: Not believing people who had been dead for 1,000 years were back without proof
I want you to imagine a hypothetical with me: a guy that is somehow vaguely influential in politics walks up to the UN and tells them that Leif Eriksson and the Vikings are back and coming to kill everybody. This man has no proof beyond what he and a couple of people with him say , and there has been no indication of this at all before he shows up. I know in that scenario I’d want the UN to throw him out until he had proof.
That’s the modern day equivalent of Qui Gon telling the Jedi the Sith are back. He’s making a huge claim with no evidence. You can’t expect the Jedi to immediately believe him no questions asked. The instant there’s actual proof of this, we see the two most influential and powerful Jedi, Mace and Yoda, talking about how they need to look out for other Sith. They are taking the threat seriously, they just aren’t omniscient like the audience.
Mistake Number 10 that led to the fall of the order: When they were enemies of the state who would be killed if they didn’t hide, they hid
Truly, a horrible mistake. Now they’re mad at Obi Wan and Yoda for going into hiding, unlike other survivors of Order 66. Other survivors such as Kanan, Ahsoka, Cal, and Quinlan, perhaps. All of these characters went into hiding. Cal and Kanan were forced out of hiding, and Ahsoka helped with the early rebellion while remaining in hiding, but pretty much every order 66 survivor tried to go into hiding.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go cry.

When an “Abnormality” Occurs, Corrective action (To Prevent Recurrence) and Preventive Action (To prevent Occurrence of Similar abnormality) Needs to be taken

!
How?
CAPA includes control points, control levels, etc. This step is the key to the improvement of your performance.
To Prevent recurrence of the abnormality, you need to understand the situation in great detail, analyze the causes at a deep level, and take action to eliminate the cause.
To prevent the occurrence in similar areas, you need preventive actions. These actions include revision of SOP’s, control points & control levels along with regular skill updation of the concerned.
Also, Read Implementing Lean Maintenance System to Improve Factory Performance
Abnormality Analysis Framework
When any abnormality occurs, the root cause(s) of this abnormality must be known or analysis to be done & necessary corrective actions are required to be taken to prevent the recurrence of this particular abnormality. This corrective action brings in a gradual improvement in the performance level.
The occurrence of the abnormality can happen due to the following reasons:
SOP’s are not available
SOP’s are available, followed by the people but still, abnormality occurred.
SOP’s are available but not followed by the people
Analyze Abnormalities in the Industry Through Daily Management- Once an abnormality occurs, an analysis of the same must be done to conclude one of the above reasons due to which the abnormality happened.
Let’s Understand all the above three reasons:
a) If the conclusion is that the abnormality occurred because the SOP for doing the job was not available and the job was not done as per the standardized way, requisite standards operating procedure must be prepared by the concerned persons, all the people who are required to do this particular job must be trained and a system should be incorporated to ensure that jobs are done as per the standardized procedures.
b) While standards are available and followed, these are not adequate to achieve the desired level of performance. Therefore, these standards should be reviewed for adequacy and requisite modification should be made in these standards & training to be provided to all the concerned members.
c) While Standard operating procedures are available, these were not followed by operating people, further analysis should be done to find out the reasons behind people not following the standards
Also, Read How to Address Cost of Poor Quality and Customer Complaints in Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chains, Retail, Hospitality, Hospitals.
These reasons Can be:
People are not aware of the standards.
Standards are too difficult to follow.
People are aware of the standard but difficult to follow.
People are aware of the standards but knowingly not following.
Also, Read How To Sustain Daily Operations In Lean Practicing Companies Through Application Of Standard Work Methodology

Padme and The Forces of Destiny
youtube
My apologies, but this seems to have become tea Tuesday. So let’s talk about Padme in FoD, starting with the above episode. There is a beast of some kind attacking a dock/warehouse. They are unable to contain the beast. This has never happened before. Then a ship comes, and it is the Queen! Why is she alone? Where is her protection detail? Where are her handmaidens? This makes no sense. Regardless, Padme asks how they normally handle this situation. So, she clearly wasn’t called in, otherwise one would assume she would have been briefed. Therefore, she is here for some other reason, an unspecified one, but if that’s the case...why is she wearing her “combat uniform” from TPM? Was she expecting to go into battle? It might have made sense if she’d been called in, (although why would you call the Queen about this sort of thing anyway?) I don’t understand. Then Padme goes in and sorts things out, and that much is in-character, but the rest? That makes no sense. More than that, her compassion and quick thinking are admirable, but the whole thing was so simple to sort out that I’m sure the guards themselves would have manged it in the end and arrested the poachers. This whole episode falls flat. It’s very poor writing.
The Impostor Inside
Note too that in all other FoD episodes with Padme, she is involved in a fight. (It’s not necessarily a bad thing; I really quite enjoyed Unexpected Company, for instance. The problem is context.) There’s never a focus on her actual job, where her interests, talents, and area of expertise lie: POLITICS. Even in the episode where Padme is preparing a diplomatic dinner, which is as close as we get to that, she is dressed like this:
Tumblr media
Why is she wearing what she wore to her execution on Geonosis? Padme would only wear that if she’s going into a danger zone, but right now she’s about to head into a very important dinner meeting. Why is she not dressed appropriately? This is Padme, we’re talking about. She is highly fashion conscious.
Not only that though she doesn’t even know who her handmaidens are, and what they’re up to. When the imposer handmaiden leaves, she calls out,
“Excuse me, what is the meaning of all this?”
Like she doesn’t even know with whom she was working. Padme is friends with her handmaidens and knows them all by name. She knows who they are, where they are going. I find this dialogue all very suspect. And of course, instead of showing her political prowess she gets to whack an assassin. It’s the same old refrain.
The Starfighter Stunt
This isn’t a bad episode per se. It’s very in-character, but Padme already knows how to fly a starfigther. It’s in the movies. She flies one from Naboo all the way to Coruscant, and maintains the formations with all the other pilots. She’s never been in a real dogfight, but she knows her stuff. I could easily see her and Ahsoka, (and Anakin), having fun piloting together, but Padme is not a beginner. She’s done this before. Why are they acting like she hasn’t?
This is why I am always nervous about new Padme material.

openGauss|High Performance-Kunpeng NUMA Architecture Optimization
Kunpeng NUMA Architecture Optimization
Availability
This feature is available since openGauss 1.0.0.
Introduction
Kunpeng NUMA architecture optimization mainly focuses on Kunpeng processor architecture features and ARMv8 instruction set, and optimizes the system from multiple layers, including OS, software architecture, lock concurrency, logs, atomic operations, and cache access. This greatly improves the openGauss performance on the Kunpeng platform.
Benefits
Transactions per minute (TPM) is a key performance indicator of the database competitiveness. Under the same hardware costs, a higher database performance means the database can process more services, thereby reducing the usage cost of customers.
Description
openGauss optimizes the Kunpeng NUMA architecture based on the architecture characteristics. This reduces cross-core memory access latency and maximizes multi-core Kunpeng computing capabilities. The key technologies include redo log batch insertion, NUMA distribution of hotspot data, and CLog partitions, greatly improving the TP system performance.
Based on the ARMv8.1 architecture used by the Kunpeng chip, openGauss uses the LSE instruction set to implement efficient atomic operations, effectively improving the CPU usage, multi-thread synchronization performance, and Xlog write performance.
Based on the wider L3 cache line provided by the Kunpeng chip, openGauss optimizes hotspot data access, effectively improving the cache access hit ratio, reducing the cache consistency maintenance overhead, and greatly improving the overall data access performance of the system.
Kunpeng 920, 2P server (64 cores x 2, memory: 768 GB), 10 GE network, I/O: 4 NVMe PCIe SSDs, TPC-C: 1000 warehouses, performance: 1,500,000 tpmC.
Enhancements

If you watch Maul's fights throughout the Clone Wars, you'll see he actually does have various different styles of combat. The thing about that final fight with Obi-Wan is that
a) my man's delirious by this point, almost. He's been wandering the desert, haunted by the ghosts (whether real or only in his mind, we don't really know because Filoni never clarified) of Satine and his brother for what? Days? Weeks? And he's lost and dehydrated and was already kinda kooky before he became lost in the Jundland Wastes. His (irrational) anger is the only thing keeping him going. So, when he fights Obi-Wan, he's not in his right mind, is what I'm saying.
b) Sam Witwer has pointed out that Obi-Wan senses how unhinged Maul is at this point and purposefully manipulates him into attacking in the same manner he did during TPM. That pose he changes into was an imitation of Qui-Gon Jinn, because he knew Maul would not resist the chance at killing the Padawan in the same manner he did the Master. Only Obi-Wan is not a Padawan anymore. He has grown so much wiser. He was goading Maul into fighting using a certain method because he would be more predictable and easier to defeat. Well played, Master Kenobi.
I'm not saying you don't have a point about the fight being one-sided, or about Maul having his spikey head so far up his metal butt that he never realized that until it was too late, but to dismiss him as a warrior by claiming he never evolved his combat style is unfair. Maul was an excellent fighter, a master of various martial arts. In fact, it's been pointed out several times that he got by more on his fighting prowess and training than in any ability with the Force. But old man was addled by this point. He was also done, from what I interpreted in that episode. Maul wanted to die. He wanted things to end for him, one way or another. On the surface, Maul was so certain he would win, but deep inside, I think he wanted Obi-Wan to cut him down. Kinda reminds me a bit of Merl from TWD when he gets drunk off his ass and attacks the Governor's warehouse fortress or whatever. Not exactly a suicide mission, but he wouldn't mind dying, if it came to that.
The one aspect of his that hadn't changed by this point would be the thing that caused his downfall at Obi-Wan's hands in the first place: his arrogance (for lack of a better word). He thought that of course, he would succeed in killing Kenobi, because he had to. It was the same during his youth: he had no real choice but to follow through. Which goes back to how Obi-Wan understood his enemy so well on this, that he acted accordingly to get Maul to behave a certain way.
Maul had a set sense of honor that he lived by, such as when he killed Vizsla through the tenets of the Death Watch. Even when he killed Qui-Gon, one could argue that he fought honorably, and went straight for a lethal blow on his enemy, not prolonging the man's suffering. (That's probably why he failed with Obi-Wan... my man got careless and smug and started playing with his food, so to speak.) Obi-Wan knew he wouldn't be able to resist the "poetic irony" of bringing his fighting style back full-circle.
P.S.: I never got the impression that Maul was terrified of Anakin becoming Vader. Rather, he was terrified of Sidious, period. If he had truly feared Anakin, he wouldn't have orchestrated the Siege of Mandalore to get the guy to show up accompanied by Kenobi in order to kill him. At the time, he thought he could take both of them on. (He was wrong, of course.) Anyhow, food for thought.
Obi-Wan fighting Vader again retroactively makes his last encounter with Maul absolutely hilarious. Like, Maul, DUDE. That's the guy who chopped Vader's limbs off and went toe to toe again with him only a few years ago and survived! Vader, the guy whose foretold coming had you raving and ranting in terror because you have extreme Sith-related PTSD. Your traumatized ass hasn't changed fighting styles since TPM and you're taking on the guy who took on Vader several times. Really.

How to read your tire size?
One can find the tire size of their car from the user manual of the car. Similarly, a sticker is mounted on the inside of the door just beneath the hook.
It has the specification of the car wheels and related size details written on it. If you still have your stock wheels you can also see the size of the tires written on the sidewall.
There is a lot of information on the tires' sidewalls, but the information we want is written in the form of 200/60R15 92S.
Let’s break down all the numbers and letters, the number may also start with a P205/60R15 92S where the P represents the passenger vehicle. There are other letters as well:
“P”= Passenger Vehicle
“LT”= Light Track
“ML”= Mining and Logging
“MH”= Mobile Home
“ST”= Special Trailer
“TR”= Truck
The next number we have is 205. Now 205 represents the cross-sectional width of the tires which is 205 mm.
The next number is 60. This 60 represents the aspect ratio of the tire. 60 is basically in percentage means 60 percent of 205 mm which turns out to be 123 mm. So, this 123 mm is basically the height of the sidewall or the tire.
The letter R represents the structure of the tire and it stands for Radial. The other two configurations include D for Bias Ply and B for Bias Belted tires.
The 16 after the R represents the diameter of the car rim. It tells us about what diameter rim is this tire suitable for. Use the right rim size to install into the tires.
The 92S represents the load index and the speed rating of the tire. Figure 92 tells us exactly how much load the tire can handle. This maximum loading in kilogram and pounds is also mentioned on the sidewall of the tire.
Always have a better load index grade. Never go below the mentioned weight. The fewer quality wheels on a heavy-weight car is a bad decision and are not practical.
This tire can withstand a load of 380 kg or 1389 lbs (pounds) of force.
One might also think that my car weighs much more than 1389 lbs so how can my tires withstand such weight as the actual weight of the car is a lot more. This is because most of the weight is equally distributed on the suspension of the tires and the tires do not have to withstand the entire weight of the car.
The S with the 92 tells us the car's max speed rating, which in our case is 180 km. This means that the car cannot go beyond 180 km.
Thus, it is easy to comprehend and look into any tire and be able to read and understand the specifications mentioned on the tires.
With these simple tips on how to read Tire Size easily, you should be able to buy your car rims and car tires without any difficulty.
Tire sizes matter, so only the right car rims should be used by looking on to the user manual, or tires specification sticker placed in the car door. One can also confirm the tire specifications if the stock tires are present.
