A not-too-hefty box is passed to you in the hotel lobby when you return to rest for the night. Asked kindly by the staff to double-check its contents, you settle down on a nearby lounge chair before opening it up to inspect what’s inside.

You find a Liyuean tea set, fit for a group of four, the colour of the teaware a beautiful earthy brown, reminiscent of your dearest back in Liyue. In the hotel lighting, light bounces off the surface of the teacup you’re cradling in your hands and reveals an underlying pattern of sheer golden dragon scales. A breath. Oh. Setting the cup back into its cushioned groove in the box, you pick up a sealed bag of tea leaves. Zhongli was the one to introduce you to mixing different types of teas to create a layered taste that you couldn’t find anywhere else. No one else knew your tastes quite like he did, always so frustratingly addictive. You read the attached tag, “An aphrodisiac blend of tea leaves, so I am not the only one left wanting.” That sly dragon, desiring you carnally even miles away.

Of course, no gift from Zhongli is complete without a letter. It’s a little strange that the envelope is not sealed properly, terribly unlike your lover to flub up. But he does seem to always forget to bring his wallet around, perhaps a mindless slip. You know how excited he gets when it comes to matters concerning you, so you chalk it up to enthusiastic forgetfulness.

After removing the letter from the box, you gently close the lid. His letter is written on paper with a stunning gold trim, one he reserves only for letters to you. The words are evenly spaced out, neat, pleasing to the eye (and maybe looking at his handwriting feels a little like coming home). His letter reads: 

“In loving correspondence to my heavenly pearl,

First of all, it is simply wonderful to hear from you again, my pearl. It puts my mind at ease to know that you are still here, present, on Teyvat with me. I know not what I would do if I never heard back from you, I have lost too much, I cannot lose you too… Forgive me for being direct, it must be the aching longing to see you again.

Moving on, I suppose we must address the issue which you deem so pressing. I am sure you will be delighted to hear that I am no stranger to the concept of having multiple lovers, for you are simply just that magnetic, my pearl. This dragon has learnt to be more than generous over the countless millennia I have existed.

(The handwriting seems to get a little more compacted together starting from here, as if he’s growing increasingly frenzied the more he writes.) However, when it comes to you, I wish to be a little selfish. I’d love you to love me, most. I am willing to share but let the two see that only I can please you, that I was the first to capture your heart. Perhaps, if you allowed it, I could even restrain their hands as they watch on at the sight of you pounding into me, marking me up with bites that leave lasting marks. “Thought we’d find you here! What do you have there?” Kaveh’s voice rings out from before you. Looking up, Alhaitham and Kaveh greet you. Kaveh sports a blinding smile while Alhaitham’s face, although appearing neutral, radiates a sort of softness towards you.

“A reply from my lover in Liyue after I sent them a love letter recently.” Your eyes roving over Zhongli’s words in your hands again, you miss the way their eyebrows pinch slightly at how tenderly the words “love letter” rolled off your tongue. 

“Is it the one with the brown tea set?” There’s a tinge of… something in Kaveh’s voice. 

“Yes, he did send me a lovely-” Your mind stills. You’ve never mentioned anything about a tea set yet. The box is closed. The envelope was strangely open when you first took it out.

Your gaze snaps up to them, and they share a conspiratory glance before Alhaitham leans in, whispering lowly next to your ear.

“Kaveh and I were simply thinking we could get a… headstart on showing how much we want to worship you, our prince.”

Victorian Supermassive

OK so I started picking over the Hackett family tree again and actually doing what I set out to do last time(until I went to rest my eyes in the early evening and woke up at 3am lol)

I'm focusing on this section of the tree undercut

so that big Hackett ancestor people talk about?

Septimus Hackett(54) was 3 years old when in 1893

When Jeff and Marie Whitman married and died, the next sibling close in age

Annabell Hackett(51) would have been 5 that year

Looking at the other siblings

Benjamin Hackett(15) died 20 years prior to Septimus being born

Mattheus Hackett(24) and Suzette Hackett(20) both died in the same year a decade before Septimus was born

George(66) was born in the same year as Suzette(although I doubt they're twins due to the higher likelihood that they wouldn't have made it at the time)

And Thomas(29) 2yrs after Benjamin's death

So it seems like there was a time when it was Benjamin/Mattheus being a year apart and then when they were 4/5 when George and Suzette were born and then when they were all between the ages of 10-15 Benjamin died, Thomas is born 2yrs later when the younger two are 12 and the next oldest is 16

This seems to encapsulate one era of this generation, when Thomas is 8 Mattheus and Suzette die leaving him and a 20yr old George as the only surviving siblings and 8yrs after that Annabell was born(with T and G being 16-28 and 30/18/2 when S came along)

Looping back around to 1893, the surviving Hackett siblings at this time would be George at 33, Thomas 21, Annabell 5, Septimus 3

Side note about Azariah(75) and Ellen(78) really be out here having kids from 20/25-55/60, Thomas died 2yrs before his mother and remaining parent and Septimus would have been 23 when she died with George being 43 and Annabell being 25(does anyone else get the feeling this generation had some wolfish problems in early development?)

Okay so back to the main point, this information can 100% be used TQ/tdim Victorian era content, you want the whitmans to know the Hacketts? It's entirely reasonable, hell I may add some of this into my 1880 little hope au and I fully believe that the general family tree can be utilized this way and it very much resonates with how I connect these games and how I'll manage to care for the quarry

There are a lot of cursed werewolf non-con, dub-con, and/or mpreg fanfics in the Quarry tag on AO3, sometimes people like to read them and live-react on the Brainrot server and I always end up live-reacting to their reactions.

I feel like making Dylan a weak and waifish perma-victim in Quarry fanfic has mostly fallen out of fashion (THANKFULLY--not sure what game those people were playing tbh because as I recall Dylan pretty easily held his own and canonically didn't so much as sniffle at having his HAND chainsawed off... but I digress...) but that was weirdly popular early on in the fandom I guess? I said I volunteered to drive him to 'the wolfbortion clinic' and it's become a running joke that I will take anyone to get un-preg'ed.
