@the-invisible-introvert-2004 This is for you!
-
This theory is actually somewhat ironic, and you'll understand why is just a moment.
It goes like this: we, the audience, will watch a new episode or read a new chapter and, in our excitement, will comment on it, some even analysing it or posting pages or clips.
As readers, hidden behind a fourth wall, we able to see and learn a lot more than the characters in the story itself, such as knowing Izuku used to be quirkless, All Might has a debilitating injury, 1-A is taught by Eraserhead, Aizawa's quirk, and so on.
And we will comment on it without even thinking. We will makes posts about how cool a character's quirk is, how heartbreaking a backstory is, even theories that prove to be correct.
What we don't realise is that All For One has a quirk that allows him to see past walls - including the fourth one. He is able to find our comments, our posts, everything about MHA.
As such, we are the traitors. We are the ones who posted about All Might's injury and declining time, we are the ones who outed Izuku's past quirklessness, and we are the ones supplying information for All For One.
Now, this was an early theory, and it has holes. Such as the USJ being a surprise to the readers/viewers too, meaning that we weren't the ones to leak this information to the League of Villains.
The irony serves in the point that Yuuga, the real traitor, is the only one to consistently break the fourth wall and stare directly at the audience. Which could also lead into the viewers being the traitor, as it could be how he knew of Izuku's quirk, but, again, there are holes.
If AFO could read our comments and messages, he probably would have found Izuku early on and just killed him when OFA was passed onto him.
And if Yuuga could see past the fourth wall, it would require a quirk, which he wasn't born with, (though, it is established that quirkless people can handle more than one quirk), and it would mean that he would have reached out to Izuku earlier with the audience being highly aware of how compassionate Izuku is.
The idea is really cool, and makes me kind of wish it did happen, but alas. Holes early on in the USJ, and it would have led to different arc for Yuuga.

UH GUYS LUXU ISN'T THE TRAITOR AND I HAVE PROOF AND IS IN FACT SOMEONE ELSE
But you aren't going to like it. Theory below.
Okay so we all know about how the Master has said that Luxu is traitor. But I don't think that is all there is to it. Luxu is the traitor to the Master of Masters (MoM for ease of use).
Luxu and his lack of sigil connection
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is from Gula the man with the Lost Page, which is the key to finding the traitor and contains information about them. This is where issues with the "Luxu is the traitor" MoM statement comes up. Luxu has never had a sigil to claim as his. With the reculence symbol it was given to him by Master Xehanort and is arguable lost its importance to the story with Xehanorts death and the death of the organization.
2. Has prime opportunities to fight or heavily defect yet doesn't
The second and biggest reason that Luxu isn't the traitor is that the master lays out all the faults with his plan and even tells Luxu that the foretellers, the MoM, and himself will be killed for his goal. Luxu from then on has every justification and opportunity to rebel with no one else around for generations, yet continues to follow his role.
Now for the second item. The actual traitor is the Master of Masters. Heres the evidence.
MoM actually has a sigil connected to him.
Tumblr media
This is the "sigil" that appears on the MoM book, coat, and in the middle of the stained glass for choosing a union.
Tumblr media
All of these can be more tied to the MoM than Luxu as the book of prophecies is something he wrote and would have a hand in picking out the cover. Along with that, union member seem to not know of Luxu but know of MoM so his sigil being in the middle of the stained glass wouldn't be too far gone.
2. Scaredy-cat
Tumblr media
This is when MoM is talking to young Xehanort about the coats that ward off darkness. The thing is... His plan hinges on him letting darkness into his heart. Yet, due to his statement he is unlikely to follow through with absorbing darkness into his heart, becoming a traitor to his own plan. Now in speculation, Luxu would likely retaliate due to the fact that wasn't the plan and due to the fact others have suffered just for the MoM to back down at the last minute, making him a traitor against the MoM.
3. (Most unstable point) MoM goes behind everyones backs.
A. Plans to murder the people that follow him and does not tell them.
B. Pretends like the traitor is among the foretellers when he actually gives the traitor role to Luxu, and doesn't even tell them.
C. Does B to get darkness into the foretellers hearts unwillingly (based on their actions).
Final Thoughts
People are accept the Master of Master's words at face value when its been shown that he believes in a more "actions speak louder than words" philosophy and I think we should take that same idea to him.

No matter what people say about Trey, Ace is The Most Normal Character. He plays basketball. He's good at card tricks. He likes eating hamburgers. He's used to getting a lot of attention because he's a youngest child. He teases everyone constantly but sometimes he can be nice. He's 5'8". He had a girlfriend in middle school and the relationship failed immediately. He could transfer to my school and I wouldn't blink an eye.

so the traitor thing
everyone has a theory and i feel like i've seen everyone's name thrown out at some point but i'm just throwing my two cents in the ring so that way someone can yell I TOLD YOU SO when we finally find out (hopefully me)
Tumblr media
spoilers through ep 15
so the traitor thing was something touched early on and then not often since, getting sprinkled throughout just enough to remind us that while we need to get close to the ghouls, we still need to be suspicious
i wanna say eye roll but im so fucking locked in to trying to figure this out
anyways, despite the super sus vibes from the beginning, the first we really hear about the traitor is actually when taiga brings it up in episode 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
taiga's implying he knows who it is. he also knows a lot more than he's letting on, which i'll get into some other time, but this moment is also bookended by a couple moments of the most lucid taiga we've seen yet. in both episodes where taiga is featured, he's shown figuring out the anomalies before anyone else, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's known all along
another time we see the traitor mentioned is ed. he's such a weirdo i love him
Tumblr media
what a freak <3
anyways he doesn't really give us any more info, just tells us that he knows. which also doesn't surprise me because apparently he can read the text boxes like he's deadpool or something.
but it continues to be sprinkled throughout the story, and we even get little hints that someone betrayed jin last year. so: who is it? 1. someone heavily involved with the ghouls and knows enough personal info that it's fucked them over (and potentially caused the clash, but that's a theory i'm still mulling over) 2. someone smooth talking and sly enough that they can get away with it
there's some obvious choices and some off the wall choices, but my basis is coming from a writing standpoint and is based mainly on themes....which is SO unfortunate, because he's one of my favs and if he's the traitor i'll cry
but i think it's haku
cue crying here
the instant a traitor was mentioned, my immediate gut instinct was haku--which in all honesty, that could be on purpose! they could have made him really obvious so we're looking away from who it actually is. but either way, my gut was screaming haku purely from the way he was introduced to us
Tumblr media
a white knight swooping in to save us? promises our safety right away? tells us his main job is to clean up after the other ghouls because the teachers send him in?
i think it speaks for itself right there
not to mention if you pick him as the one you save right at the beginning, this is his intro:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
suuuuussspiiiiiiiciiiiiooooouuuuuussssss
he's one of the ones that i believe has a plot relevant intro, and it's also because of this and his line in episode 15 that makes me think if he IS the traitor, then he doesn't really want to be. he's super flirty with mc as well, and while i think a lot of that is an act to get him to trust us, i think at least a little of it is genuine. this could just be because i'm a sucker for the classic trope of "i was supposed to hurt you but then i fell in love with you," but it is SO easy to see that with someone like haku.
unless he really is just duping us and i fell for it. but it's moments like this that make me think mc is slowly turning him back to the ghouls side
Tumblr media
anyways, so we get into episode 15 where he talks a little more about his past. starting off in clementia makes sense i think. my guess is that it was a healing/holy house centered around sending spirits on and quieting the undead (more on defunct houses in a different post) so with his shrine fam, that fits. then he transferred to frostheim (well known family. again, makes sense.) and then ended up in hotarubi, another one that fits. the only suspicious part is him leaving frostheim last year and the timing of it. him and yuri would have left at the same time tohma was transferring in, presumably at the same time the clash was happening. he's got inside deets on three houses (one now gone) so that just adds to the ways he'd be able to wiggle in anywhere
not to mention in episode 15 he drops the line "make a deal with darkwick" several times. it almost feels like a callback to the classic haku traitor line
Tumblr media
taiga voice "slimy motherfucker." anyways he says two or three times in episode 15 that he made a deal with darkwick. how often is he dealing with darkwick?
also, there was the break in at jabberwock. ren didn't say anything was taken, so i'm hesitant to say the traitor did this. this could have been any number of people just trying to get info on ren and what his stigma can do. ritsu said that he thought it was a professional, which makes me think it was a ghoul since they'd be able to make a quick getaway.
i've seen haku be associated with tanuki several times. tanuki are japanese "raccoon dogs" that are often depicted as tricksters in folklore, much the same way foxes are in western europe and coyotes are here in the states. while they're tricksters, they're not necessarily malevolent, and i feel like that fits with haku as well.
like i said earlier, i don't think haku necessarily wants to be the traitor. this whole story just feels...tense? i don't know if that's the right word, but it always feels like haku is waiting on something. the few conversations where the other ghouls seem a little suspicious (namely rui) and when he's talking to the teachers, it's always felt strained. so my two main guesses with haku are
1. he's being blackmailed into this. maybe he fucked something up and darkwick is covering it up for him as long as he feeds them info (was he at fault for yuri's medical mistake? is that why zenji died? does he feel guilty and that's why he's doing so much for a ghost now?)
2. he's the traitor willingly because something happened that made him distrust the other ghouls and side with the teachers, but mc is slowly making him realize the ghouls aren't all bad and deserve to be treated with respect. also, episode 15 has him admit he always takes the easy way out. saving his own hide would certaily be easiest.
i just realized i keep referencing the teachers all the way through this. i think the faculty are the antagonists of the story. they've felt slimy from the beginning and the more we talk the less i trust them. fight the power
i'm still not completely sold on haku, though. it can't be any of the first years because they weren't here for the betrayal last year. i don't think it's jin, tohma, or alan because they're all actively trying to solve it i think. zenji's dead, yuri seems like he was trying to run away from it and also actively avoids the other ghouls. i also don't think it's romeo because i think taiga would have done something crazy if it was. other traitors on my shortlist are: rui (can move in shadows, faculty could be holding a cure for his curse over his head), subaru (i think he could be guilted into it), and taiga himself (but he's not aware, only suspecting. memory suppression, constantly guessing who people are...it could be!!)
so that's my traitor theory! i'm sure i'll come up with more theories (hopefully in a more coherent manner) as more episodes come out.
send me who you think it is! ask and dms are always open

pvp wemmbu traitor theory has overtaken me. Help. take this pvpciv mutinyduo drabble i did because ive been thinking about them literally all morning
“You know, if I’m being honest… I really didn't expect to see you here. A part of me thought you’d be dead by now.”
“Is that really the first thing you have to say to me in so many years?” Wemmbu shot back with an air of jovial teasing in his voice, the same kind he used around Evbo and the other diamond swords. It felt wrong this time, though, facing one of the ghosts of his past as a ‘defender’ of a nation he’d tried to help wipe out.
Zam just smiled, flipping a thin braid over her shoulder as he adjusted the trident strapped to his back. If it had been anyone else— if she hadn’t been Zam and if he hadn’t been Wemmbu, if Julie or Minute or Ferre or, gods be damned, Evbo— that smile would have certainly spelt bloodshed. Even now, he wasn’t sure whether or not she was about to drive the trident into his illusory self’s chest and flounce away as Zam had probably done with Julie and Ferre.
“Well, diamond sword Wemmbu, I don’t think I should have anything further to say to you,” Zam commented airily, surveying the walls of the Gold Sword level surrounding the both of them. “Unless you’re alone right now?”
“Why else would I have talked to you at all, man?” Wemmbu grumbled, rolling his eyes when she just laughed. “Hurry up and drop down or the others will start getting suspicious.”
“I don’t think it’s much of a reach to say that you decided to fight me for fun and not kill me. I mean, you are a hologram right now. Right?” Zam tilted his head, a sharper grin than before spreading across his face as she surveyed Wemmbu casually from head to toe. “I mean, it’s not like you haven’t lied to them before. That’s, like… your whole thing. Being untrustworthy, I mean.”
Not to Evbo, Wemmbu wanted to tell her, but he bit it back, partly in an attempt to convince himself that he was doing a good job of being an infiltrator and also because it felt mean to admit it out loud to himself. Not that he wasn’t proud of being able to be trusted, but— seriously. Evbo was a kid. And Zam was just standing in front of him, looking just as proud and angry as he had the day that he and Wemmbu had been exiled, a mirror image of their younger, madder selves.
He didn’t know how he felt about it. Looking similar to Zam. It left a familiar bitter taste in his mouth, and he shook away those thoughts before turning away from his… current ally. “I thought you said you trusted me to get you through it this time?”
“Well, sure, but I did most of the work,” Zam replied, and, well. She… had. The video journal of Parrot pinned up against a wall, a trident held to his neck as Zam twined Parrot’s bow string and arrow fletch around the man’s own wings flashed in Wemmbu’s mind, and he chuckled nervously.
Wemmbu wondered if the trident in his inventory would ever be turned against him in the exact same way. If Zam would ever take the extension of his own self and skewer Wemmbu through with it.
“Come down,” Wemmbu said in lieu of a proper response, sighing when Zam stuck her tongue out at him. “Your Highness.”
“Asshole,” Zam punched his hologram in the arm, even though he had to know Wemmbu couldn’t feel it. “Fine, then. I’m coming down now. Tell Evbo to wait for me so I can do my villain speech. And go get in position or whatever, I don’t want you getting speared on Minutetech’s sword, of all people.”
“Fine,” Wemmbu parroted back, laughing when Zam narrowed her eyes and thrust his trident into Wemmbu’s hologram, effectively severing his connection to the Gold Sword level.
He sobered quickly though, climbing off his perch and making his way back to the dropper on the Diamond Sword level to rejoin the other Diamond Swords, making up some random excuse for why he’d taken so long with ‘interrogating’ Prince Zam. Not that Minute was around to pick through his argument properly, anyway. The most scrutiny he got was from Julie, who just frowned a little.
Evbo, though, still clung to his side like glue, and Wemmbu felt a little sick again, knowing just how much the boy trusted him.
And when Zam finally made his way down to the Diamond Swords, Wemmbu ignored the sharp glint of knowing malice in the Prince’s eye.
Maybe if he pretended it didn’t exist for a little longer, he wouldn’t have to come to terms with the reality of his situation.

The hardest hit county has the highest avoidance of vaccine rates standing at 18%.
That mother f—ker Kennedy actually has doctors there giving out doses of Cod Liver Oil to sick kids because he falsely believes that it’s high dose of vitamin A will cure or prevent Measles. It doesn’t and these people are suffering needlessly.
These anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists should be jailed for child abuse. The Measles is a terrible disease to suffer through and can, and already has, cause death. The outbreak has spread to other counties and other red states where vaccination rates are low. Measles had been eradicated in the United States ages ago but thanks to Republican conspiracy theorists its back.
All it takes is one celebrity that believes in anti-vaxx conspiracies to cause major outbreaks. Just look at all the harm Jenny McCarthy caused with her “vaccines cause autism” lies. Wikipedia actually had to put up a page to prove that was hoax but millions followed that dumb bitch’s lead. Now they have a celebrity vaxx denier in the White House passing out mountains of lies and conspiracies about diseases. A conspiracy theorist with no medical training or education. Modern medicine isn’t something you can master by reading quack stories from bogus internet sites in your spare time. It takes trained medical researchers and doctors whole lifetimes of study and practice to know what’s safe for you.
F—king cod liver oil isn’t going to do shit for you. In fact the average American already exceeds the daily recommended amount of Vitamin A.

I'm so intrigued that I watched Arcane and ended up getting kinda attached to the m/f couple and the m/m couple, and not the f/f couple. Like, this is the complete opposite of my typical mode of operation what is happening here
tbf I don't care very much about jayvik, but timebomb really endeared itself to me
It's not that I dislike caitvi, and I'm very, very glad that it exists in its full, uncensored glory - and with a happy ending! I was just never sold on it somehow. I kept almost getting it, and then being put off (by Cait's classism & cop tendencies, or the timing, or whatever). And I really wanted to like it! And I do like a lot of it, I'm just not attached :(
I can't tell if caitvi just isn't for me or if the writing slipped up somewhere, because a lot of other people seem to really like them together. Perhaps a bit of both
anyways, caitvi are lucky they're hot
