I remember super specific stuff like there was an elder who blew something up to reroute a river because he needed the water for fire savety and he is kind of mentoring wwx. And some of the elders imply to lwj to court wwx. And there is a kind of scholar equivalent to a discussion converence and the Jiang scholars get so much shit from the Lans for not supporting wwx talent because he is like a once in a generation genius and they usually have systems in place to support people like that but the Jiangs were afraid of madam yu i guess. It was multichapter fic and I'm pretty much sure it was finished. It's basically story, where Wei Wuxian transmigrates from modern times into cultivator setting, summoned by mistake, by his counter-part here and basically hijacked their body? And was then promptly attacked by Lan Wangji, who thought it was original

In cultivator setting, Wei Wuxian was also known as a Yilling Laozu - ancient and mad with grief over Lans killing his husband few hundreds years ago. The present Lan Wangji is reincarnation of said husband, but due Yilling Laozu Wei Wuxian not letting him go, he couldn't properly reincarnate or something? Like - he is still man's husband, Lan Wangji, but a little bit different and that stops him from falling in love with YL WWX?

(There was also something about how this Wei Ying was summoned, because Lan Wangji from that universe probably died, before they had a chance to meet.)

Anyway, after getting (i think?) stabbed by Lan Wangji he got taken to Cloud Recess, then he somehow winded up in Lotus Pier, growing close with Jiang siblings. Also, Wei Wuxian from the modern times was some kind of doctor or inventor (?) and he tried bringing some modern solutions there.

17. For fic finder, I remember it was a multichap canon dovergent wangxian fic with inventor wwx. Tho I am not sure if that tag was used. The most notable part of it was Madam Jin bringing evidence of jgs putting his lot in with wrh complete with bills, transactions, correspondences etc. Jgs tries to discredit her by being a misogynist. That's when madam Jin uses a wwx custom binding spell on him and then says "I am a quick study when I want to be" to wwx and then she says "thank you for your instruction" because she learned the spell from jzx who saw wwx teach it to jc in cloud recesses lectures. After that she tells jzx to take the sect leader's seat and there was resistance from jin elders in the same scene and also in other later chapters. A) It was a post-sunshot campaign au..I think someone basically heard wwx getting yelled at by jc and flinching away from his touch. That gives rise to rumours that jc is sexually abusing wwx. Everyone starts pitying wwx and it comes to a head at some sort of banquet..?

B) A post-canon wangxian fluff fic. I think it might've been a 5+1 sort of fic but im not sure. There was one particular scene where wwx is just hanging out with other lan spouses and they are all complaining about their husband but wwx is silent cause lwj treats him really well..After he says so one of the women say "how long will it take your husband to realise if I kill you and take your place?" To which wwx replies "like right away"

He builds a garden with various monuments one of which is a boulder tied down with ropes to represent the Xuanwu. Eventually he senses something and goes to the burial mounds where he drags a reborn WWX from the blood pool. He takes him home to rehabilitate. On the way he stops at an inn to bathe him. Thats all I remember<3

I am looking to build my roster of clients, and have created my own service, moukies editing, with the express intent of promoting my skillset and establishing myself as a freelance editor.

If you don't know what sensitivity readings are, they are essentially having someone with the lived experiences of your characters (for example, black characters, gay characters, non-binary characters, Muslim characters, disabled characters, etc.) read over your manuscript and point out what they feel is realistic, authentic, and resonates with them, as well as areas of improvement and stereotypes that are harmful and reductive in nature.

The purpose of a sensitivity reader is to help you avoid those pitfalls and polish your manuscript with the experience and authenticity of someone who shares the identity of your characters.

If you book with me, you can expect in-line comments within your document (preferably Word (.docx) format, please), as well as a write-up at the end. My aim is to ask you pointed questions, help you realize areas you excel in and areas you could work on, and get you to think critically and be introspective about some unconscious biases or habits you may fall into within your writing.

A few months ago my doorbell rang unexpectedly. In the spirit of curiosity, I went downstairs to see my surprise guests, who quickly revealed that the purpose of their visit was to share with me the good word of the Lord. I graciously expressed my lack of interest, and thanked them for stopping by. To their credit, they left agreeably, and neither tried to make me feel like an unrepentant sinner, a hateful reactionary, or someone who was actively obstructing their ability to exist. We went our separate ways without conflict, something only possible in a culture that values freedom of religion.

Which includes our culture, for the most part. It’s a standard tenet of classical liberalism: you believe how you want to believe. Even for those who see the United States as a “Christian nation,” most are content to let others have their different faiths, so long as they’re not proselytizing or engaging in acts of violence. Live and let live.

Door-to-door evangelism is a kind of activism I can respect, even when I disagree with the message. Compare this to the kind of activism happening at Kellie-Jay Keen’s ‘Let Women Speak’ events: people screaming at and physically assaulting people with whom they disagree. Even if we aren’t completely aligned on exactly how much free speech we should tolerate in a civilized society (shouting fire in a crowded movie theater? I say no!) and whether there is a meaningful difference between objectionable words and physical violence (I say yes!), it remains true that every person has a right to express their thoughts and feelings. Likewise, opponents have a right to express their disagreement. But they do not have a right to respond with physical violence.

The question of “when is violence justified” is out of scope for this essay. However, I think most people would agree that when those Jehovah's Witnesses showed up at my door and tried to persuade me to join their church, neither of us possessed the right to bring physical violence into that conversation.

Gender identity ideology, the belief that there is a gendered spirit that exists separate from the body, is a religion in all but name—and its successful penetration of our institutions depends on it not being seen as a religion. What makes it a religion and not ‘a natural progression of enlightened thought,’ as gender activists claim, are three things:

1. A hysterical disregard for evidence-based, reproducible research. ‘Children are dying! No time to wait for studies!’ 2. The levels of initiation (like Scientology), in which one can ascend up the ladder from ‘cis ally’ to some variant of ‘trans’ (or chic alternative), often combined with increasingly complicated and risky “gender-affirming” surgeries. 3. Resistance to any kind of critical inquiry (of even its most extreme positions). “Trans voices” have unquestionable authority and must be treated as gospel.

Understand that I'm not attacking religion here. I’m saying that gender activists framing their belief system as the only morally justifiable worldview and calling for all unbelievers to be shunned is the type of thing that religious fundamentalists would do, not civil rights activists.

Nor am I attacking gender identity ideology. I just want it to be understood for what it really is. As an increasingly alienated leftist, I’ve seen too many of my own friends absorbed into this leaderless cult, suddenly unwilling to contemplate or discuss any other perspective. Whether they’ve adopted it intentionally or through community osmosis, the believers argue that gender identity ideology is true, has always been true, and to express anything other than wholehearted support is equivalent to injury.

I do think it's possible for people to believe in gender identity without resorting to intolerance or the worst excesses of the self-appointed revolutionary vanguard. But those people, quietly trying to live their lives, are not the theatrical attention-seekers who publicly delight at forcing ideological compliance. Part of my motivation in writing this is to inspire a more nuanced conversation about "trans rights" in the culture wars. It is a legitimate subject worthy of discussion. What rights do trans people have, and not have? In what cases, if any, are their rights more important than the rights of women who want to have single-sex spaces? If the gender identity activists truly want to create long-term change that actually benefits their demographic, they will need to do politics instead of just bullying their neighbors into submission.

It is the lack of willingness to have discussions about the thorny areas where their wants come into conflict with the wants of others that make this such an intolerant movement. And the one message we keep hearing is that if you do not believe as the gender activists do, you are a problem, and your lack of proper belief justifies the use of violence against you. This is a textbook example of religious extremism.

What is the significance of it being religious in nature? Because religion occupies a special niche in our culture: it shapes our ideas of the sacred and the profane. But even though there is widespread disagreement on the specifics of what constitutes each, we've managed to form some kind of common ground along the lines of respecting each other's personal freedom to act and believe as we choose, so long as our actions and beliefs don't interfere with others exercising their own freedom. ‘The Golden Rule,’ if you will. Most people, I think, would argue that people are free to worship however they choose. Of course, this ideal picture of tolerance is not always the case. History is full of crusades and jihads and persecutions for heresy under various names. Human society has a long relationship with the virtues and the horrors of religion. We know what it is, even if we still struggle with it.

So we can recognize, understand, and even empathize with a person motivated by religious fervor. We can respect the passion shown by a person in a state of religious ecstasy. But none of that requires that we unconditionally lower our psychic boundaries and adopt their beliefs at gunpoint. If such a person can accept that they will not convert you, and go their own way, there is no issue. But if that person threatens you with social repercussions or even physical harm for not assimilating, that is extremism.

Therefore, we hold religious people to certain standards. We accept their idiosyncrasies, while reserving the right to arrive at one’s own faith uncoerced. If we see gender identity ideology for what it is—a religion dressed up as a civil rights movement—we would be much less willing to entertain those ideologues in our schools and institutions. Also, in the United States, thanks to the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, the legal standing for gender identity ideology in government goes away completely once it is accurately classified as a religion.

Gender identity ideology as a religion further means that we can (and should) have reasonable boundaries around how children are exposed to it. Here's a fun thought experiment: Would you be OK with a devout Christian, Jew, or Muslim going into your child's public school kindergarten class to lecture them about Jesus, Moses, or Mohammad? Probably not. If you were at the grocery store and you ran into a 6-year-old wearing a crucifix who told you that you were going to hell unless you devoted yourself to the church, you'd probably walk away from that encounter thinking, “well, that was weird and disturbing." But right now, gender disciples around the world are perfectly on board with a 6-year-old girl telling them with complete certainty (to the extent a 6-year-old can be certain about anything), "I am not a girl, I am a boy." No need to critically examine the circumstances, because it is a holy sign. Even the Abrahamic religions have a concept of Age of Majority, but in the world of gender identity, no age is too young to be sacrificed on the altar of hormones and surgeries.

Here's another thought experiment: next time you read the words “transwomen are women,” imagine it says “Jesus is Lord” or “Praise Allah.” It’s the same thing!

The most important difference between gender identity ideology and other religions is that it has no concept of the divine. There is no greater power at the center of the belief. The highest authority of gender identity ideology is the self. Thanks to social media, never before have young narcissists been able to organize with middle-aged narcissists so effectively, and then claim to speak for all queer people. The rest of us are not given the choice to opt out. Gays, lesbians, and bisexuals are forcibly conscripted into this doctrine, or we are excommunicated.

Humans are social animals. We are deeply influenced by each other. It’s one of the reasons that politics and religion exist. So, considering this kind of cultural dispute isn't anything new, why is the conversation about transgenderism so fraught?

Because the issue of men trying to be women (and vice versa) mirrors the central, much larger conflict in our society right now: the issue of humans trying to be God. There is a mischievous aspect of our nature that seeks to be subversive, to upend conventions, to do the impossible. This inclination to push against our limits has brought us the great technological gifts of the modern era. Yet this mischievousness is a double-edged sword, like so many other aspects of human nature that walk a fine line between adaptation and maladaptation. The only way out of this unsolvable predicament is to put down our fantasies, and to stop the foolish exercise of insisting to be that which we are not.

Am I anti-trans? No. I am anti-delusion. I want to live in a world where people are free to play with gender expression in self-love and with full, conscious acceptance of their bodies. The notion that anyone could be born in the wrong body is among the cruelest ideas to emerge from the unholy marriage of postmodernism and late-stage capitalism. There’s no profit to be made in teaching us how to love ourselves, but every gender-nonconforming person that embarks down the pathway of medicalization becomes a prisoner of the gender industry, and a customer for life.

We can argue all day over how much of the self is caused by nature versus nurture, but understanding the mechanics of our own existence is secondary to finding the ability to live at peace with one another, and to share in both the joys and hardships of life. Let us not be children, demanding that we submit to each other’s capricious, imaginary worlds. Let us be adults, willing to talk to each other as living beings worthy of mutual respect.

Aromanticism in Academic Papers (day 7)

Today is the last day of ASAW 2024. It's been fun compiling all of this research for you! As ASAW ends, I thought it'd be a good time to look forward. We are part of a wider community after all, the queer community. And as a whole, the queer community is also underrepresented in relationship research.

Today's paper is: Queer Intimacies: A New Paradigm for the Study of Relationship Diversity by Phillip L. Hammack, David M. Frost, and Sam D. Hughes (2018). [stable link]

This paper puts forth 7 ways in which relationships differ from the normative path, and how these perspectives need to be included in academic research more. These assumptions and corresponding "axioms" are that:

Relationships involve 2 different cisgenders, as opposed to homosexual relationships and relationships involving trans/non-binary gender identities

That intimacy is directed solely at one gender, and that attraction does not change, as opposed to plural sexual orientations such as bi and pansexuality and changes in desires

That intimacy is between only two individuals, as opposed to polyamory

That intimacy is characterized by equality and symmetry of role and status, as opposed to consentual power asymmetry often found in kink and BDSM communities

That intimacy is characterized by romance and sex, as opposed to asexual and aromantic intimacies that do not involve romance or sex

That family structures consist of biological offspring, as opposed to chosen families

That forms of intimacy can be known and catalogued, as opposed to the fact that intimacy forms are always situated in their place in history, and that new ways of being intimate with other people are always being invented.

This paper stresses the need for research to be done into these other forms of intimacy that are not usually focused upon.

Now for today's post, I'm going to be focusing on point 5 because I can speak to it personally better. For the sake of brevity I am focusing this on aromanticism, as that is what this whole week of posts has been about. If you have the ability to read this paper though, don't neglect the other portions. they deserve better and further research too.

The authors carefully detail some of the history of asexuality research, and then present the primary holes left to fill in the research. They ask why there has been a difference found in rates of ace men and women having a romantic relationship and for analysis to look beyond the gender binary. They ask for more research on the direct experiences of aros and aces in relationships. The relational forms present in our community are unique and deserve "Legitimization through empirical documentation and systematic inquiry". The authors ask what unique forms of intimacies exist? how do individuals make meaning of these relationships in a culture that privileges sex and romance? and how do partners navigate stigma? What distinctions exist in the experience or expression of asexuality and aromanticism across diverse gender, race, class, and sexual identities?

This paper by Hammack, Frost, and Hughes gives us a charge. To go out and research this. These are only the most obvious gaps in literature from 2018, some will be closed, but that means more will have been opened. We should try and research this, or facilitate those who do. If you ever see a chance to participate in a survey on aromanticism or whatever identity you have, Take it. Even if you aren't in the position to conduct research personally, you can always take part in it. Support organizations like AUREA which provide vital resources not just to the community but to researchers! take part in the aro census ! You have the chance to help facilitate important research in something that is sorely lacking representation in academia. So please, if you have the chance, do it.

Hi, sorry to ask you again so soon, but I have a couple of new questions.

For context: in my book I have this emperor: Zeus the Mad, he is a libertine and (being honest) a preeetty bad ruler. This man has only two legitimate children: a son named Erictoni and a daughter named Athena. In this culture children are only legitimate if they have come from the woman in the relationship.

His son is branded as crazy since he was a child because he suffers from hallucinations; his daughter, on the other hand, is a very intelligent and educated woman.

Years go by and his daughter has seven children, each one from a father (that's why I was informing you about how legitimacy works for them), Annabeth, Sammuel, Beckham, Oliver, Sofia, Elizabeth and Lucia. The emperor doesn't like any of his grandchildren very much, but he has a special hatred for Oliver, for being a trans boy. One day, in a fit of rage, he breaks a jar of wine over the boy's head, leaving him in a very worrying state (not the first time he does something like this.)

That night the youngest of the siblings, Lucia (who is quite afraid for her brother's life), sneaks into the emperor's rooms and slits his throat while he sleeps. When she does this she is only nine years old. The only people who know who did the murder are Lucía and their mother.

Because of what I've already mentioned to you, Athenea is the one who inherits the throne.

Okay, now for the questions:

1. How would the people take the death of this emperor? And the coronation of his daughter?

2. How would the nobility of other countries/empires treat the children of the empress, since she is not married?

3. What investigation would be made into the emperor's assassination?

4. What psychological marks might these events leave on the children?

With a mixture of unease and fear. He may be hated but he's still a figurehead to the country and his death is happened at the heart of the royal palace, amongst all his guards and where he should have been most powerful. The family will be uneasy, the government will fear a national enemy, the people will start to question the infallibility of the royal family. They will probably welcome the daughter if she's an improvement on her father but if she had a particularly bad and public rift with her dad rumours of her involvement in his murder will sprout.

With respect. They may not be illegitimate but they are still of Imperial blood.

A large one. The Emperor died at the palace, murdered in his own bed, with all his guards around? Everyone will be on this inquiry. Everyone is a suspect.

It would make them very afraid. I mean I can't really stress how significant this type of murder would be. An Emperor, the most powerful man in a vast Empire, is killed at the seat of his power with every measure of protection around him. The children may not mourn him but they will likely start to grow paranoid about just how safe they are at the palace and have trust issues.

the usage of colour in the sea beast is literally so genius im never gonna look at anything the same again. spiderverse had a similar effect on me, just the artistic VOICE that this movie exudes with its colour palettes is intoxicating

i think a reason why werewolves appeal to trans people but are terrifying for cis people is because trans people are not inherently afraid of transformation and change. changing your body into something more empowering and heavily removed from your old self is a dream for a lot of trans ppl but for cis people its evil, wrong, scary, violent, etc. hence the differences in how the little gay people on here talk about werewolves vs pop culture depictions of them

Actual woman with disabilities are more likely to be abused and this perfectly abled guy wishes “he was born a woman who was paralyzed from the waist down”. And of course he admits it’s derived from sexual fetish and envy over his wife’s shoes and wearing her dresses without her permission while she was recovering from CANCER.

A man in Norway is sparking outrage on social media after he was sympathetically interviewed about his decision to begin identifying as a disabled woman.

On October 28, Good Morning Norway (God Morgen Norge, GMN) aired an interview with Jørund Viktoria Alme, 53, an able-bodied male who now identifies as a disabled woman. In the interview, Alme stated that he had always wished he had been born a woman who was paralyzed from the waist down.

Alme, a senior credit analyst for Handelsbanken in Oslo, has received positive coverage in Norwegian media since he first announced his trans-disability publicly on Facebook in 2020. He has given several interviews, often alongside his wife, Agnes Mjålseth.

Despite having no physical handicaps, Alme currently utilizes a wheelchair “almost all the time.”

In addition to gender dysphoria, Alme claims to have a Body Integrity Disorder (BID), citing a “dissonance” between how he perceives himself and how his body functions. “I have struggled with this every day my whole life,” Alme told Vi, a Norwegian outlet, earlier this year.

“It is a cognitive dissonance: in the same way that I experience being a woman in a man’s body, I experience that I should have been paralyzed from the waist down. This is not a desire to be a burden on society. It is about the wheelchair being an aid for me to function in everyday life, both privately and at work,” Alme stated.

Criticism of Alme’s “identity” has been so substantial that Norway’s TV 2 news program featured the perspectives of four disabled women in the days after his interview was broadcast on GMN.

Emma Sofie Grimstad, 18, was one of several women who hit back at Alme’s disabled “identity.�� Earlier this year Grimstad spent two months in a wheelchair after she contracted Guillain-Barré syndrome, an acute inflammatory disease which attacks the nerves and can cause paralysis.

Grimstad criticized Alme, referring to him as a “person with functional legs who chooses to sit in a wheelchair,” and pointed out that “there are many who don’t have that choice.”

“I don’t think everything should get airtime,” Grimstad told Norway’s TV 2 news program. “[Alme’s] interview can harm people who are in wheelchairs and do not have a choice. It can even lead to suspicions about people who have no visible illnesses,” she added.

Noomi Alexandersen, 23, was another woman whose concerns were highlighted in TV 2‘s report. Alexandersen has cerebral palsy, which means that she does not have full use of her left arm and foot.

“This leads to the to ridicule of those who face challenges related to their disabilities on a daily basis,” Alexandersen said, who added that Alme’s “identity” felt like an insult to the disabled community.

Chair of the Young People with Disabilities, Ingrid Thunem, told TV 2 that she had personally received several “inquiries” in response to Alme’s interview on Good Morning Norway last week, and pointed out that, “many experience being accused of pretending they need assistance.” The coalition consists of 38 organizations and groups of young people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, and in total, represents approximately 25,000 people.

Immediately following the women’s critical remarks, TV 2provided a definition of Body Integrity Disorder (BID). The brief statement sympathetically portrayed Alme as having a “deep feeling that certain body parts or functions feel foreign or do not belong.”

Following this, Alme responded to criticism leveled against him.

“I have struggled with my own shame and prejudices for 50 years before I was so bothered by BID that I finally had to open up about it,” Alme told TV 2. Alme went on to say that he aims to facilitate “diversity and inclusion.”

TV 2‘s statement on BID, sometimes also called Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID), also referenced a condition called apotmenophilia, which is defined in medical research as “a syndrome in which a person is preoccupied with the desire to amputate a healthy limb.” The term was coined by sexologist John Money in 1977, after he spoke with men who wanted to become amputees because they found the idea sexually arousing. Money is largely credited as having coined the most commonly understood concept of “gender identity.”

A 2005 study of people with BIID found that it largely “overlapped” with other paraphilias. In the study, 90% of respondents were male, and, of the total participants, 87% admitted to feeling sexually attracted to amputees. Nearly one-third stated that they had at least one further paraphilia, or sexual fetish, including transvestism, fetishism, masochism, or pedophilia. Researchers remarked that there were “similarities between Gender Identity Disorder and this condition.”

In September, Alme confessed to iNyheter that his identity as a disabled woman was sexually motivated. When the question of whether or not he was acting on the impulse to live out a sexual fetish was broached, Alme replied, “I don’t know, maybe so.”

“I often hunted for beautiful shoes that I bought for Agnes. Once I found a pair of shoes for her. Then I discovered that they had a pair of shoes in a large size. So I bought them too. There was a lot of excitement in buying a pair of shoes with high heels,” Alme told Vi.

After Alme began ordering women’s shoes online, his wife Agnes questioned whether he had been wearing her dresses in private. When he told her he had, she responded with shock, which later turned to frustration.

“When I heard that, I was shocked. And angry – which basically means I was scared. I felt that he had destroyed everything we had together and that I had to leave him,” said Agnes.

Yet despite his wife’s outrage, Alme started dressing as a woman at home, a situation that “became a strain” for her, as she was struggling with a recent cancer diagnosis. Agnes has been open about her difficulties in accepting her husband’s fetishistic behaviors, and has said that she initially “tried to leave” him twice “in despair and grief.”

Agnes, a board member and principal for a kindergarten in Molde, had previously worked with children who had disabilities and were in wheelchairs, which caused her to feel concerned about her husband’s behaviors.

Alme has told Norwegian outlets that his desire to be disabled stems from a childhood memory. He recalled feeling “envious” of another child with a leg injury who was using crutches while he was an elementary school student.

“My reaction was an intense interest. My heart pounded, my pulse increased and I was activated in my body. I was incredibly focused on him and what this was all about. Everyone gathered around and was going to try the crutches, while I kept my distance. I was so afraid that someone would find out what was going on inside me,” Alme told Budstikke.

Initially, Alme told Agnes that his dressing in her clothing, preoccupation with shoes, and desire to use a wheelchair was a sexual fetish – a narrative which he shifted to focus on Body Integrity Disorder after she expressed her distress.

At Alme’s urging and explanation of BID, Agnes has since said that she accepts her husband’s new identity.

“He is a wise and upbeat person, and I realized that the wheelchair thing is something real. So I found ways to support him. At the beginning I told him: ‘You have to give me some time.’ I knew from my work with children that when you get time and peace to think, things go well,” Agnes said.

Vaishnavi Sundar, a filmmaker and representative for the women’s rights organization Women’s Declaration International, has spoken with over two dozen women from various countries who have divorced or left their husbands over issues relating to a self-declared “gender identity.”

Her upcoming film, Behind the Looking Glass, will feature interviews with these women, who are sometimes referred to as “trans widows.”

Speaking to Reduxx about Alme, Sundar expressed concern for his wife.

“It’s not unusual for trans-identifying men to claim profound victimhood and demand their wives to play along. In some cases, these men go a bit further by claiming additional levels of marginalization; for example, self-identifying as Jewish, or claiming to suffer from some sort of bodily disability,” Sundar explains.

“This just seems to me as a way to satisfy their sexual perversion that thrives on being helpless, or being looked at as someone who is further disenfranchised, therefore warranting more attention etc. In one example, a man claimed to have polio growing up, while there was no proof for it whatsoever.”

Sundar says that the wives of men who launch into a paraphilia-driven lifestyle change are sometimes trapped by circumstance, citing potential financial, parental, or emotional dependencies.

“So even when they find this behaviour confusing, absurd and downright abusive, they stay married, are forced to justify the fetish, and play along,” Sundar says.

“It is highly traumatizing for women who are forced to stay in the relationship as it is a form of emotional violence. She’s expected to enact a lie day after day and is punished for daring to challenge it. She is forced to question her own identity in the process and spends the rest of her life as a ‘lesbian’ in some cases. Not to mention providing for his sexual demands and managing the household while he goes off throwing all their savings on clothes, shoes and makeup.”

Since airing the interview with Alme, Good Morning Norway has received numerous outraged replies posted under the article on their Facebook page.

One woman, the mother of a child with a disability, remarked that she had to undergo a difficult application process in order to receive financial assistance when purchasing a wheelchair. Another commenter called Alme’s “identity” a “mockery,” while another suggested that he had a sexual fetish for the disabled.

Good Morning Norway stated in their post that they would be actively deleting “offensive” replies. One individual claimed to have seen 900 comments to the article the day prior, and expressed shock that at the time of his reply, only 47 comments were available.

In other words men found another way to further inconvenience women who or socialized to be helpful and perfectly healthy men found a way to barge into spaces for disabled women.

The attention was on the wife while she recovered from CANCER so of course he had to come to terms with his trans sexual trans disabled identity. How else was he going to make the situation about himself.
