hello, my beautiful beloveds!! ❤️ a very happy (early) new year to everyone!!! here comes 2025, with its many surprises and opportunities. i am wishing you all well with this new year, and i hope everyone is doing well!!! that said, i am sad to say that i was unable to update transcendence this month. chapter 19 has proven to be a worthy opponent (it’s being a little shit and i am this close to throwing my laptop at the wall ☺️) so i’m afraid you’ll have to give me just a little more time. however, i am here to share some snippets of the chapter that i HAVE written with you, with the hope of making you smile and also as an apology!!! you may find them under the “keep reading” sign !!!! <3

anyway!!! im leaving this here and hope it brings you a bit of joy. please enjoy, please smile, please be happy, etc etc. i am also aware that i have 20 something unanswered comments on the latest chapter. i promise i will be getting to you before the year ends—i am a drowned wet cat begging forgiveness at your doorstep, at this point. this year has had NO mercy.

i will also take a moment to yap. this year has been full of challenges and many struggles, on a personal level and then on a global level. it has been a hard year, both emotionally and physically. but ao3 and fandom (bsd, in this case) always brings with it escape and happiness, no matter how momentary. i would just like to express my love and gratitude for each of you this year. i am honoured to be blessed with such beautiful readers, that are now some of my best friends if i may be so frank, and i know the majority are on ao3 so they may not even get to read this, but i would still like to say thank you. transcendence has been my saving grace this year, and so have you all. thank you so much, really, for everything, and i hope you guys get everything you’ve ever wanted this year. may 2025 be kinder to us, in all the ways that count. consider this a token of my friendship, love, and gratitude. thank you ❤️ i will now stop yapping!!! <3
