How are the relationships with the Autobots and remaining Decepticons? Do any of them help rebuilding, like seen in the movies with the Vehicons?

What about Shockwave and Starscream, are they gonna cause any trouble?

Do the Predacons stay on Cybertron & help out or are they more neutral?

Do you have any plans for who is coming back to Cybertron after the war?

Questions for your Megatron focused story:

Where does he travel to, just around the universe?

What's his view in the situation, is he bitter about his defeat in any way?

Are there any after affects from the Unicorns possession?

Are we gonna get some insights about him and Optmius before the war?

Is he and the totally-not-his-nemisis-ghost gonna get into any fights (with eachother or some space monster) ?

And in general, what inspired you to come up with this AU?

On the main story on Cybertron:

The relationship between the Autobots and Decepticons is a little complex. The first group Autobots and Decepticons that return got tired of the fighting, and with no Optimus or Megatron checking up on them regularly, they’ve kind of settled into an unofficial ceasefire and truce. Team Prime is suspicious but if Prowl and Jazz trust them, they’ll give the Decepticons a chance and work with them in rebuilding Cybertron, though the tension between the two factions is still prevalent. Everyone contributes, though there are those who cause trouble due to their hate for the other faction.

Starscream has a weird spark, and after he died from the Predacons at the end of the movie, he roams around as a ghost still trying gain some kind of power, only to be faced with the consequences of making everyone’s lives terrible and hate him, even a certain Autobot flight frame that refuses to acknowledge his presence till Starscream realises that he has to be better bot or be alone. Shockwave…I’d say he returned to his solitude and experiments, somewhere in a lab in the depths of Cybertron. Sometimes Predaking and his pack of Predacons drop by for scratches and snack on a failed experiment. As long as you don’t run into him and easy to catch, you’re screwed.

The Predacons are neutral and don’t bother with the rebuilding efforts, Predaking was more focused on finding more Predacons to expand his pack and re-establish the Predacon population. After finding all the Predacons that come out of the Well, the pack lives in the caverns of Cybertron, hunting the creatures down there and wanting to be left alone.

For those coming back to Cybertron: first wave

Autobots: Prowl [Commander], Jazz [SIC], Pharma [CMO], Chromedome, Rewind and Superion

Decepticons: Strika [Commander], Slipstream [SIC], Hook [CMO], Lugnut, Blitzwing and Devastator

This is the working list for now, very much subject to change.

Megatron side story:

Megatron is wandering, trying to find purpose after leaving Cybertron his actions in the war are absolutely going to bite him back (Unicron, DJD) at least he has company in a ghost that still likes to listen to him recite poetry

Megatron is not bitter, more lost and depressed. He recognises all the terrible things he did as a warlord and it haunts him that it took being possessed by Unicron to see his error in his ways. He avoids interactions with other Cybertronian, half because he knows he has a target on his back, half because he worries that he’ll hurt someone else. Megatron mostly lives under a rock in terms of knowing whats happening in Cybertron. He only catches up whenever Soundwave tells him what happened lately or whenever he makes brief visits to the planet.

Unicron’s possession left very weird side affects. One of them being that Megatron can tap into a bit of the God’s power and can see dead sparks, which is why he can see and interact with Optimus. His optics become purple when he does it and he doesn’t like looking in the mirror when he does it.

Yes, absolutely. I want to expand the heck out of pre war Orion Pax and Megatronus. Once Orion opened his optics because of Megatronus, he becomes a menace to the Caste system, due to having data at his digits and connections. A series of events snowballed to a planned coup on the day of the Council hearing. Of course, things don’t go as planned and the war happens.

Optimus and Megatron get into verbal arguments alot, especially during the first few months when all the dust had settled. Optimus doesn’t know why he follows Megatron around, is it out of pity? Or is it because Optimus himself is alone and only Megatron truly understands him, all sides, not just Optimus Prime. Megatron gets into fights, either for his survival or being tried by 2 Primes on his crimes. Fought the DJD once on his own, almost died so he avoids them carefully. His new purpose involves ridding the galaxy of Dark Energon deposits, so I guess he fights alot of Zombots.

This AU came about when I got invested into TFP and wanted to change the sequel, RID, to something that would make sense in the TFP universe. And like everything, it snowballed from there. Thank you for your ask, this is my first one ever and I love to share more about this Post-war AU.
