ALSO Also Galvatron: One of those planets that used to be under Cybertronian control was home to a bunch of psychic space elves, who in celebration of their independence, quickly devolve into hedonism, causing the birth of a MALICIOUS WARP ENTITY.

Also ALSO also Galvatron, one of the planets that had cybertronians on it gets targeted by the FUCKING QUINTESSENSONS, because of leftover tech. Said quintessons "uplift" this planet using golden avatars, and turn them into a galactic superpower.

Also also, The Quintessons eventually hijack incredibly powerful technology of Iron. Causing a horrible, horrible war.

And remember those space elves and that warp entity? The entity's gestation causes space storms so bad that said Imperium is cut off from it's colonies. Right after a devastating robot rebellion.

That's right! Galvatron is indirectly responsible for the creation of both the Imperium of Man and Slaanesh!

Ok ok ok. So on a whim I decided to start watching Transformers: Robots in Disguise from 2001 and everything in episode 1 is SO CHOICE.

Am I really to believe that Megatron, who in this cannon has already conquered and stripped many other worlds of their natural resources, isn't able to figure out energy sources on Earth without a humans help? Like things he knows from other planets would still be applicable??? Earth isn't super special in the types of energy it has available. This honestly is a tiny weirdness tho and maybe resolves itself in future episodes, not a major point.

BECAUSE WHY DOES OPTIMUS TAKE THE CHILD??? Why why why would Optimus take a small, squishy human boy FROM ANOTHER CONTINENT and bring him to a GIANT ROBOT BATTLE where he is now IN DANGER?? The boy can't like fight any of the predacons or offer any help? He is a child?? Like he basically kidnaps this child FOR NO REASON. He could have just *went* by himself and stopped Megatron and brought the dad back. The child just sits there scared for 90% of the fight before LITERALLY RUNNING INTO DANGER AND CALLING MEGATRON A LOSER.

Ok ok but maybe Prime had a good reason for all that, whatever, bigger concerns.

Why was Sideburn flirting with a normal car??? The car is not animate??? IT CANNOT HEAR OR UNDERSTAND YOU 😭😭😭 That car will not smooch or fuck you it is not sentient. Ok ok but whatever weird car flirting(?) that's fine.

HOW DID OPTIMUS INSERT HIMSELF INTO THE CHILDS PHONE CALL?? So if you are a probably more sane person and haven't watched this series, the child's dad (the world's foremost energy expert) is being threatened by Megatron at a conference and the child sees this on TV before the broadcast is cut short. So the child calls his dad to see if he is okay, his dad gets out like half a sentence and the call is cut short. Then as the child's tears hit the phone, Optimus just CONNECTS TO THE PHONE?? Like I want to make this very clear, the child does not get a call and answer it, Prime just appears on the screen, tells the child everything will be fine and to meet him at the entrance to a park in 5 minutes.

Was Optimus monitoring the child's call? Did he have the child's phone number? He responds to what the child was saying before he magically connected to the child's phone. Does he read the child's mind?? What kind of surveillance does Prime have on this CHILD and WHY???

In conclusion: This is so bullshit and hilarious and I love it. Transformers is great.
