I saw ur RID headcannons for fixit and I loved it!!! Do you have any saw/nsfw thoughts on RID bumblebee? He’s personally one of my favorite bumblebee iterations as he radiates tired dad vibes. With his dorky yet serious personality he doesn’t get enough love in my opinion! I wanna peg the man so hard till he forgets his worries 💅✨

YESSSSSSSSS I love RID 2015 Bumblebee. I know he's not the most popular version of Bee but the dorky dad vibes really work for me with this iteration. And you just know he's way too stressed and could use a good frag to unwind for once.

Like every other iteration of Bee, this Bumblebee is pretty protective of you. He definitely veers more on the side of 'protective' than 'possessive' compared to some other iterations, and he's a LOT better at tamping down that jealousy, but it still rubs him the wrong way when someone is taking up a bit too much of your attention. At the same time though, he's really self-conscious about his image as a leader, so it's SUPER hard for him to ask for what he wants when he's feeling needy.

There's a lot of things he'd like to try that he keeps quiet about because of those self-image issues, and one of those things is roleplay. Officer/criminal, injured bot/mechanic, and especially cowboys. He'd be really interested in trying out all those dynamics in the bedroom if he could just get out of his own head for a while.

He's one of the harder Bees to get to agree to receiving, but BOY does he love it. He's so loud when he's the one getting fragged and, again, he's pretty self-conscious about it afterwards. In the moment, though? He's completely gone, panting and groaning and begging for an overload.

Prefers when he has the space and the privacy to take his time with you. There's nothing wrong with a quick romp in the woods or getting handsy at the far end of the salvage yard, but it's nothing compared to having all the time in the world to feel you, taste you, bask in your presence. He's able to unwind around you in a way he doesn't always feel like he can around his team, so he really wants to savor the moments when he gets them.

Bumblebee

Bumblebee would seem...off-put for a short time in regard to trust, as any animal-featured Cybertronian had seemed problematic or was a cause for concern, especially concerning Steeljaw, Thunderhoof and his other pack members. He'd come to quickly appreciate your headstrong nature once his trust is being earned. He appreciates your determination and even finds amusement from some of your quips back at Sideswipe whenever he gets to be somewhat overly boastful at times. He appreciates creative outlets as well, and no matter yours, he's always asking how your projects are going and if you'd had a moment to listen to any poetic drafts that he had to share.

Sideswipe

As snarky, sarcastic, and headstrong as Sideswipe usually is, your headbutts resulting aren't too laced with gratuitous enthusiasm. He can be a handful, and you aren't afraid to express annoyance when situation calls. It took a short while for you to warm up to his flamboyance and outward extraverted nature, but you would both find some equal ground in music tastes and even enjoy roughing up some Decepticons whenever the time called for it! Sometimes it takes a bit, but he's a genuine teammate, and you tend to give him that much of a reminder when needed, as well.

Grimlock

Grimlock finds comfort in a fellow comrade with an alt. mode that is non-vehicle, like his own. He enjoys spending what time would allow, especially considering that you both are seemingly high energy as animal-alt modes. Being a 'goat-bot' adds to a hot-headed temperament that requires running off excess energy. Grimlock require somewhat of the same if he gets too excitable or irritable. He's got a big heart though, and you both share that common trait, as well.

Depending on whether you're a mischievous troublemaker or a heroic vigilante, would greatly depend on whether you are a comrade or someone in need of a positive role model. She does, however, appreciate your presence on the Autobot's team, and she very much admires your hard work to maintain a headstrong, heroic narrative. She'll probably even ask you for some advice on how you manage to be so headstrong, even in the tougher times. I mean, even if it's part of the caprine/goat nature, you're still grateful that she admires that much, for sure.

Fixit

Fixit at first, would probably be a little perplexed by the choice to be heroic as an animal-alt. mode and not directly taking sides with Steeljaw and his unruly pack, and he appreciates the fact that you'd be more than willing to talk any emotional duress out with him when it may seem harder to express any difficulties with any of the other teammates. He does what he can to mediate where you may even find it tough! You also take good care and management to not destroy his things when you decidedly need to scamper about or headbutt something with a tougher hide!

Yandere Soundwave who loved reader in TFP. They get stuck in the shadow zone (without reader). When they come back in TFRID2015 they see reader there who's part of Bee's team.

Some thoughts. Be warned I literally rambled here?? Idk what I can even title this so....read or whatever. You know what, ignore me literally I have no idea what I was trying to say 💀💀 Also note the tags please

I wanna start by saying, Bumblebee is my favorite part of RID2015--a series which I would like to also say I do not hate in like manner to some of you.

However, I do find it insanely funny how Bee literally turns into the most awkward Young but Not Young but Also Definitely Not Old Dad™ who apparently can't be "as hip" as the immature children he has for a team his fellow teammates. Like also literally he has a rebellious child phase when he clashes leadership styles with Optimus (who is by the way, so OOC and badly handled in this series but that's another conversation I will have eventually) and so yea.

Bee going from the character he was in Prime to the character he became in RID2015 is actually really amusing because it feels like a teen who is at this point is in his mid 20s, wishing he could be 16 like the rest of his team but then constantly remembering why it's better he's not. Also interesting to see him in a role different to "the kid character" and actually "the leader."

(Unfortunately, our "the kid character" is not half the character Bee was in Prime--like his role as the "most immature member of this group" does not excuse most of his actions, and does not justify the writing decisions that led him absolutely no character development whatsoever 😀)

Anwyays. In a way, it does benefit Bee's team more to lead in his way rather than Optimus', which is again, another interesting thing I wanna talk about another time. Watching it always makes me miss the vibes Team Prime had. Were they always holding hands? Sort of not. But at least they were mostly mature and all seemed to grow and change as a group and as individuals, in a way that expanded on who they all were rather than changing completely their personalities. But that's also because they give off young adult vibes, which is why--going back to my original topic here--Bumblebee's sort of change in character actually makes some sense (he's kinda still like a kid, and by the time of RID, he's finally a bit more grown up, though not as old as Optimus. In equating to human years, I'd call TFP Bee 19 oldest, in RID, probably 25) and so.

It's not bad, it's just...really interesting, and funny. And I absolutely live for it 😹

Here's the recently revealed Transformers Legacy Evolution RID 2015 Universe Strongarm. I know that this may seem to go against what others have been saying but I kind of like this. I know it's a repaint/remold but I like this. I don't know that I'll buy it but it does look good and it's nice to see RID 2015 getting some love in Legacy Evolution.

I haveth a theory

RID15 was maybe not supposed to have Bee? As the focus

Why?

Because upon a mismatched rewatch

I realized WHY Bee's face felt off, why his entire design felt disconnected

He looks like Smokescreen.

Because when compared to each other

The math does not math with the Bees

They do NOT look alike AT ALL.

So maybe, and honestly I think it'd make so much more sense, Smokescreen was meant to be the focus of RID15.

Because the way Bee is written almost feels more like Smokescreen than Bee.

But as Hasbro is known to do, put Bee in the lead role instead for the recognition seeing as Smoke was Secondary casting.

It just feels....right? In some odd way but yeah enjoy that lil theory.

Day 2: Private/Respect

Day two is here, I got inspired by one of the fics I’ve read where Megatron looks on in disdain at the mockery that new council is making of the last of Primes

Using Optimus’s name and image as a tool for their propaganda, for things he would have never stood for.

I’ve found that making a small comic was the easiest way to illustrate my idea, did I forget that Megatron appearance changed after the movie? Yes I did and we’re gonna ignore it

Below there’s a small snippet that I wrote, it came to mind while I was drawing this

[Megatron always held respect for his greatest enemy, for his dearest love, he never could have fathomed a life without Optimus…and yet here he stood looking at a statue built in his memory, memory of a great leader who sacrificed himself to save his planet.

Megatron nearly scoffed, Optimus always had a hero complex jumping at any chance to sacrifice himself for the sake of others. His naïveté was frustratingly endearing and stupid to no end. In the end the Prime managed to achieve his life long dream of giving his life for his cause, Megatron thought spitefully but he knew it wasn’t the truth, he knew he was just trying to deflect the blame, to sooth his grieving spark with anger.

He knew Optimus, knew what he stood for, inadvertently he was the one to know his enemy best. After millennia of battle and constant back and forth of their struggle they came to be quite familiar with each other. And now Megatron knew that Optimus would be looking on with those sad optics of his at the current state of their world.

Hot anger bristled in him at the thought.

“They desecrated your name, dear”, talking to a statue must be a new low for the ex-warlord but he couldn’t stay silent anymore, not when looking at a poorly made replica of his Prime, “You would have never stood for this ridiculousness”

Optimus wouldn’t allow founds that were desperately needed for reconstruction efforts, to be wasted on another meaningless statue. He wouldn’t allow for his name to be smeared on everywhere to justify different agendas. They disrespect every single thing he stood for..

Oh absolutely. I really love RID 2015 Sideswipe too! He needs more lovin'.~

I think Sideswipe ping-pongs back and forth between two modes. Mode one is him being an absolute brat, disobeying and teasing and pushing your buttons with the express purpose of being put in his place. Mode two, on the other hand, is him trying really, painfully, obviously hard to impress you. Most of the time he likes the fight but sometimes he just really, really wants your praise. He doesn't know how to ask for it outright, so it usually ends up with him talking big and showing off, peacocking to try and get a sliver of your attention.

And oh does he crave your attention. Sideswipe can't stand when your eyes (or worse, your hands) are on any bot save for himself. He's possessive, and he revels in everyone else knowing that you belong to him and he belongs to you. Despite that, he's not actually super into the risk of getting caught, especially by his team. Not to say he's against the idea of a quick romp in the woods or parked at the back of a drive-in theater (cause he's definitely up for that~), it's just the idea of his teammates specifically catching him in any matter that could be seen as vulnerable that twists his tanks.

He doesn't like the idea of someone driving him around in theory, but BOY does he eat his words once in practice. He can feel everything; the slide of your fingernails along the grooves of his seat stitching, the way your hands wrap and clench around his steering wheel and clutch, or when you drag a teasing touch up and down the rubber seal of his window panes. It all revs him up something furious.

I also think Sideswipe talks a big game, but is incredibly inexperienced. Even if he tries to be more leading or dominant, he either ends up fumbling and letting you take the reins, or getting so praise-drunk and dumb in the processor the minute you start telling him what a good boy he's being.
