Hey guys! Yasmin here, and I have special news for you. I’ve been thinking about this for a while,

and decided it’s time to make my vision become reality.

So since my favourite cartoon is HTF and Splatoon is my favourite video game, I’ve decided to do a crossover between the two by making Splatfests! Or in this case, I like to call them: Treefests.

So here’s how it’s gonna work:

They will be at least 2 Treefests every month of 2024. And the characters hosting it will be Russell and Handy. Russell will always represent the left side, And Handy will represent the right side.

A new Treefest will always be announced on Sundays. But voting won’t take place until Friday,

and the winner will be announced on Saturday.

Since you only have one day to vote, I’ll keep sending out art of the Treefest in case you forget to vote if you plan to do so.

But how will the voting work? It’s simple.

I’ll set out a poll onto 3 of my social medias: Amino, Tumblr and YouTube. I’ll put the links to the polls for all three when voting begins. Which ever team gets the most percentage wins.

Here’s an example:

Team 1: 78%, (YouTube) 54% (Amino) 91% (Tumblr)

Team 2: 32%, (YouTube) 46%, (Amino) 19% (Tumblr)

Team 1 would win as they have more higher percentages. Whichever team has more higher percentages would win.

There will be 24 Treefests in total, 2 each month.

And you guys can also make fan art of the Treefest with the characters representing the theme, or your own OC character supporting whichever team you want! You can also make a video of your reaction of the results! And yes, the first Treefest will be announced tomorrow, so look out for it!

We as a fandom don't talk enough about the fact that Morgoth didn't only know most of the major Noldor socially in Valinor, he was specifically familiar with and afraid of Turgon. TreeFest 2023 hosted by TreesLouisville

TreeFest was introduced to Louisville in 2022 as a way to celebrate Arbor Day and provide community members with an opportunity to learn more about and appreciate our community forest. TreesLouisville, Louisville Parks and Recreation, Jefferson Memorial Forest/Natural Areas Division and other partners will host a volunteer tree planting event, family-friendly activities like kids tree climbing, a tree giveaway, and opportunities to meet and learn about different “green” organizations in our city.
