🍪🍹🌊 As much as I love summertime and sea theme stuff, I feel like I want to make an oc who is not only a sea related cookie but also one that is entirely is tropical soda. Meet Sea Melon Soda Cookie, she's a sister to Sea Fairy Cookie and a very good singer on a tropical restaurant/bar. Sea Melon Soda Cookie is a very kind and hyper sister to Sea Fairy Cookie. Sea Fairy Cookie created Sea Melon Soda Cookie years ago before Sea Fairy Cookie break free from being frozen but instead of actual sea water, she added some magical rainbow tropical potion to make her scent sweeter, sea theme, but also tropical soda scent. Sea Melon Soda Cookie saws Sea Fairy Cookie as a mother figure but deep down, she is a sweet sister to her through and through. After being separated, Sea Melon Soda Cookie started her career as a singer and performing her favorite place such as tropical beach restaurants/bars. However, during the nighttime, she was hoping to see her sister again and hoping they will reunite despite their differences and flavors. 🍪🍹🌊

Infinite Chests
🌰 Season 8 already??? Wowee, time flies!
🍮 Yes! *giggle giggle* Presents for everyone!
🌰 To celebrate Season 8, an Infinite Chest event full of amazing surprises is going on! Do stuff around the game and get chests which could contain just about anything!
🍮 What’s in their presents…?
🌰 The way their chests are tiered is on a star basis from one star for normal stuff to six stars for the most legendary things you can get! You can only get one thing from this list per Infinite Chest, but you can open up to 30 at a time for all the goodies!
⭐️ Common Cookie Costume, Rare Jelly Shape, Treasure Incantation, 100 Crystals, 50 Rainbow Cubes, 100 Magic Powder, Blessing Ticket, Rescue Ticket, Breakout Replay Ticket, Bronze Sugar Crystal, Magic Candy Ingredient (Epic Cookie), Skill Gem, B-Grade Blueprint
⭐️⭐️ Rare Cookie, Rare Pet, Rare Treasure, Rare Cookie Costume, Epic Jelly Shape, Cookie Potion, Pet Potion, 300 Crystals, 100 Rainbow Cubes, 200,000 Coins, 500 Magic Powder, Enhancement Stone, Special Blessing Ticket, Treasure Enhancement Ticket, Quick-Run Ticket, Silver Sugar Crystal, Shining Skill Gem, A-Grade Blueprint

Tumblr media Tumblr media
🔎 Just a few disclaimers. Anything that was just added with this update and will be added this month isn’t going to be in these chests (Ex: Electric Eel Cookie). Just a little heads up before you don’t get too disappointed with not getting the new Legendary. The chest opening process will slow down and put on a special light show for you if one of those chests contains a 5-Star or 6-Star reward. 6-star rewards that give you multiple Legendaries will give you 3 or 5 copies of one Legendary, not 3 or 5 different Legendaries. If you get a Cookie Costume you already have, it’ll get exchanged for Rainbow Crystals as normal as if you got it from the gacha. Duplicate Jelly Shapes will get you their exchange value in Rainbow Beans.
That brings me to the Season 8 Commemorative Coins. Opening ANY Infinite Chest has a chance to drop a Commemorative Coin regardless of the other contents. Spend these in the Season 8 Commemorative Coin Shop for all sorts of great prizes, including a number of Lobby Designs you might’ve missed out on for any reason!
☁️ Tell the Editor that. He missed out on a chance to get two of them since he left his iPad at home before going back to college for a couple months and went a week into the Raspberry Mousse GCL update before getting his account synced with his phone. He was salty about it ever since. Why? City of Wizards stuff. Anyways, here’s what you can buy. Lobby Designs you already had will have an alternate (and not really worthwhile) option of 100 Crystals in their place.
“Tropical Juice Bar Under the Sea” Lobby Design (800 - New as of this update)
Legendary Cookie Potion (500)
Diamond Sugar Crystal (300, 3 available)
“Somewhat Suspicious Mirage Village” Lobby Design (500 - From April 2023’s “In the Shadows of the Dunes” update’s Lobby Puzzle)
“Legend-spun Millennial Forest” Lobby Design (500 - From October 2022’s “Curse of the Millennial Forest” update as a Team Fight Shop reward)
“Fragrant Lotus Palace” Lobby Design (500 - From August 2021’s “Fragrant Lotus Palace” update as a Diary Shop reward)
“Jelly Serpent Temple” Lobby Design (500 - From July 2021’s “Yogurt Dunes Escapade” Season 6 update as a Diary Shop reward)
“Moonlit Tower of Frozen Waves” Lobby Design (500 - From July 2020’s “Tower of Frozen Waves” update for completing Floor 10 of the Tower of Frozen Waves on the first phase - “Normal” difficulty. This includes the rerun of the event in 2022.)
“Mystical Wizard’s Desk” Lobby Design (500 - From January 2020’s “The Wizard Archives” update if you finished Chapter 3 and chose Historia Magika)
“Ornate Wizard’s Table” Lobby Design (500 - From January 2020’s “The Wizard Archives” update if you finished Chapter 3 and chose Conjurer’s Cookbook)
100,000 Coins (10 - 1,000 available)
500,000 Coins (50 - 1,000 available)
1,000 Magic Powder (100 - 1,000 available)

Planning an unforgettable party involves more than just food and drinks—it's about creating an atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression. At FunStarCraft, we specialize in helping you turn your celebration into an extraordinary event with creative, unique, and cute decorations. Here are some ideas to inspire you and make your next party truly memorable.
Personalized Banners
Start your party off right with personalized banners. Whether it's a birthday bash, anniversary soirée, or a themed gathering, custom banners featuring the guest of honor's name or a special message set the tone beautifully. Opt for vibrant colors and playful designs to make your banner stand out and add a personal touch to your event.
Balloon Artistry
Balloons are versatile and can be used in endless creative ways. Consider balloon arches, cascading balloon garlands, or even whimsical balloon sculptures. Mixing different sizes, shapes, and colors of balloons can create stunning visual displays that add a touch of magic to your party atmosphere.
Themed Table Settings
Create a cohesive look with themed table settings that complement your party's theme. Whether it's a rustic chic wedding, a tropical luau, or a sophisticated cocktail party, choose linens, tableware, and centerpieces that reflect the theme's colors and motifs. This attention to detail enhances the overall ambiance and makes your event feel thoughtfully curated.
Fairy Lights and Lanterns
Lighting sets the mood for any occasion. Fairy lights and lanterns add a soft, enchanting glow that transforms any space into a magical setting. Hang fairy lights overhead, drape them around trees or outdoor structures, and place lanterns on tables to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that guests will love.
DIY Photo Booth
Engage your guests with a DIY photo booth that doubles as a decorative element. Set up a themed backdrop, such as a shimmering curtain of metallic streamers or a floral wall, and provide a selection of props that tie into your party theme. This interactive feature not only entertains guests but also creates fun, shareable memories.
Creative Centerpieces
Centerpieces are focal points of attention on dining tables. Get creative with your centerpieces by incorporating elements that resonate with your theme—whether it's elegant floral arrangements, quirky themed figurines, or even edible displays like candy bouquets or fruit arrangements. Unique centerpieces add flair and personality to your tablescape.
Customized Party Favors
Show appreciation to your guests with customized party favors that reflect your party's theme. From personalized cookies to mini succulents in decorative pots, thoughtful favors leave a lasting impression and serve as keepsakes of a memorable event. Package them creatively to enhance their appeal and tie into your overall decor theme.
Interactive Stations
Enhance guest interaction with themed interactive stations. Consider a DIY dessert bar where guests can decorate their own cupcakes or a craft station where they can create personalized keepsakes. Decorate these stations with themed signage, colorful tablecloths, and coordinating decorations to encourage participation and add to the festive atmosphere.
Themed Backdrops
Create Instagram-worthy moments with themed backdrops that serve as photo ops for your guests. Whether it's a vintage-inspired scene, a tropical paradise, or a glamorous glittering wall, a themed backdrop adds visual interest and encourages guests to capture and share moments from your event.
Quirky and Fun Signage
Add personality to your party decor with quirky signs that guide guests or convey messages that align with your theme. From humorous quotes to directional signs leading guests to different areas of your venue, fun signage adds a playful touch and enhances the overall party experience.
At FunStarCraft, we're dedicated to helping you create unforgettable parties with our creative and unique decoration ideas. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, these tips will elevate your event and ensure it's remembered fondly by all who attend. Let your creativity shine and make your next party a truly unforgettable experience!

Unique Decorating Ideas for Party Rental Spaces Near Me
Planning a memorable event starts with an inspiring venue. Whether it’s a birthday bash, a wedding reception, or a corporate event, the right decoration can transform any space into a magical setting. If you're looking for unique decorating ideas for party rental spaces near me, this guide will help you create an unforgettable atmosphere that will leave your guests in awe.
Personalized Themes
One of the best ways to make your party stand out is by choosing a personalized theme that reflects the guest of honor or the event's purpose. From classic Hollywood glam to a tropical luau, themes provide a cohesive look and feel for the event. When searching for party rental spaces near me, consider venues that offer flexibility in decor so you can fully immerse your guests in the theme.
Hollywood Glam
For a touch of sophistication, transform your venue into a Hollywood gala. Use red carpets, gold accents, and vintage film reels. Add photo booths with Hollywood-style backdrops and provide props like feather boas and top hats. This theme is perfect for birthday parties, proms, or even a corporate awards night.
Tropical Luau
Bring the beach to your party with a tropical luau theme. Decorate with palm leaves, tiki torches, and colorful flowers. Set up a tiki bar serving exotic cocktails and play island music to set the mood. This theme works well for summer parties, birthdays, and casual weddings.
Creative Lighting
Lighting plays a crucial role in setting the mood for your event. The right lighting can make any space look extraordinary. Here are some lighting ideas to consider:
Fairy Lights and Lanterns
Fairy lights are versatile and can be used to create a whimsical atmosphere. Drape them along the walls, ceilings, or even on trees if your event is outdoors. Pair them with lanterns for a warm, inviting glow that will make your party rental space near me feel cozy and enchanting.
Uplighting and Gobo Lighting
Uplighting involves placing lights on the floor to project light upwards, creating a dramatic effect. Gobo lighting allows you to project patterns or even custom logos onto walls or dance floors. These techniques are perfect for adding elegance and sophistication to your event, making it a great choice for weddings and corporate events.
Interactive Decor
Engage your guests with interactive decor that doubles as entertainment.
Photo Booths
Photo booths are always a hit at parties. Set up a booth with fun props and backdrops that match your theme. This not only provides entertainment but also gives guests a keepsake to remember the event.
DIY Craft Stations
For a more hands-on experience, set up DIY craft stations where guests can create something to take home. This could be anything from decorating cookies to making custom jewelry. It's a fun activity that adds a personal touch to your event.
Furniture and Layout
The furniture and layout of your party rental space can greatly influence the ambiance. Here are some ideas to consider:
Lounge Areas
Create cozy lounge areas with comfortable seating like sofas, bean bags, and floor cushions. This provides guests with a place to relax and socialize, making the event feel more intimate and inviting.
Statement Pieces
Incorporate statement furniture pieces like a vintage bar cart, a rustic wooden table, or a chic chandelier. These elements can serve as focal points and enhance the overall aesthetic of the venue.

What is Dried Jackfruit?
Think of dried jackfruit as tiny bursts of sunshine in bite-sized form. It's simply dehydrated jackfruit flesh, concentrating all the flavor into chewy, convenient pieces. Unlike sugary snacks or processed treats, dried jackfruit boasts a naturally sweet taste with zero added sugar or preservatives.
Why Should You Stock Your Shelves with Dried Jackfruit?
Dried jackfruit isn't just another pretty (well, maybe not pretty) face in the snack aisle. Here's why it deserves a spot in your cart:
Sweet & Chewy Goodness: Craving something sweet that won't leave you crashing later? Dried jackfruit delivers! It satisfies your sweet tooth with its natural sweetness and boasts a delightfully chewy texture.
Superfood Powerhouse: Jackfruit isn't just delicious, it's packed with fiber and nutrients, making it a healthy alternative to sugary candy or processed snacks. Bonus points for being vegan and gluten-free!
Versatility is Key: From sweet to savory, dried jackfruit is a flavor chameleon. Toss it in your yogurt, cereal, or trail mix for a tropical twist. Craving something savory? Add it to stir-fries or curries for a meaty texture (it's a popular vegan meat substitute!).
Travel-Friendly Snacking: Unlike its fresh counterpart, dried jackfruit is lightweight and portable. Stash a bag in your purse or backpack for a healthy on-the-go snack.
How Do You Unleash the Deliciousness?
Ready to experience the magic of dried jackfruit? Here are some ways to incorporate it into your snacking routine:
Straight from the Bag: It doesn't get simpler than this! Pop open a bag and enjoy dried jackfruit on its own.
Trail Mix Masterclass: Elevate your homemade trail mix with dried jackfruit. Combine it with nuts, seeds, and other dried fruits for a power-packed snack adventure.
Yogurt Booster: Add a sprinkle of dried jackfruit to your morning yogurt for a chewy, tropical boost.
Salad Surprise: Take your salad to the next level with dried jackfruit! The sweet and savory combination is a tastebud explosion.
Baking Buddy: Don't be afraid to experiment! Use dried jackfruit pieces in muffins, cookies, or energy bars for a unique, chewy texture.
The Bottom Line:
Dried jackfruit is a healthy, delicious, and exciting way to add some variety to your snacking routine. So ditch the ordinary and embrace the tropical! Order your bag of dried jackfruit today and discover your new favorite snack obsession.

Magical Star Cocktail – Disney Parks
Tumblr media
Magical Star cocktail is a colorful and refreshing drink that is a popular menu item at Disney Parks around the world. This cocktail features a blend of tropical flavors, including coconut rum, pineapple juice, and passion fruit juice, that is sure to transport you to a sunny and exotic destination. Served in a souvenir glow cube, this drink is not only delicious but also provides a fun and whimsical element to any Disney Parks experience. While the recipe may seem complex, it can be easily recreated at home with a few simple ingredients and some creative presentation. In this context, we can explore the role of cocktails and drinks in the Disney Parks experience and how they enhance the overall theme and atmosphere of the parks. We can also discuss the cultural significance of tropical drinks and how they have evolved over time to become a staple of beach and vacation culture. Finally, we can highlight the joy and fun that can be found in creating and enjoying unique and colorful cocktails, both at home and in the magical setting of Disney Parks. More Delicious Recipes You Will Love: - Mac And Cheese With Red Wine Sauce – Jiko - Magic Cookie Bars – Roaring Forks and Riverside Mill - Mahi Mahi Tacos: A Delicious Seafood Delight I’m not a big drinker, at all.  But there’s something about a funky-colored drink with a glow cube that at Disney that makes you really glad you’re over 21. It’s a well known fact that, at Disney, my heart belongs to the Blue Glo-tini and I’m really, really glad that it’s one of the perks from “The Year of a Million Dreams” that stuck around.  But somewhere along the line, they created the Magical Star Cocktail, another fruity cocktail that became something of a signature drink at Disneyland and WDW. I actually got to try this drink for the first time my last trip at Coral Reef. I have to say, while it doesn’t trump that glorious Glo-tini, it is pretty darn good, and super, duper easy to make at home. Like the Glo-tini, it’s a fantastic drink for people who don’t like the taste of alcohol, but want to drink a little more adult. Plus, light up ice cubes make everything a little more awesome. Seriously! Look at this!  When I had this on 2/1/13 at Coral Reef, I thought it was so pretty I took a video! Conclusion In conclusion, the Magical Star Cocktail is a fun and delicious drink that is a popular menu item at Disney Parks around the world. The combination of tropical flavors, such as coconut rum, pineapple juice, and passion fruit juice, creates a refreshing and exotic taste that is perfect for a warm day or a special occasion. The addition of a souvenir glow cube adds a whimsical and playful element to the drink, making it a must-try for anyone who wants to experience the magic of Disney Parks. Whether enjoyed at the parks or recreated at home, the Magical Star Cocktail is a fun and creative way to bring a taste of the tropics into your life. Overall, this cocktail is a testament to the creativity and attention to detail that Disney Parks are known for, and it is a beloved menu item that has become a part of the Disney Parks experience. In addition to the delicious food and recipes, Disney World is also known for its unique dining experiences, such as character dining and themed restaurants. Whether you want to have breakfast with Mickey Mouse, dine in a replica of a sci-fi drive-in theater at Hollywood Studios, or enjoy a meal with an ocean view at the Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot, there's something for everyone. Sparkling already knows you as a regular at his juice bar.
In fact you're one of his favorite customers besides Vampire, Mint Choco, and Herb!
You're just a delight to chat with (and leave good tips, too, but he values company more than anything tbh).
The moment you come up to the counter, you don't even need to say a word as he's already mixing up your favorite drink.
"Glad you got my back, Sparky. I'm parched from my adventure out there. It's been hot for days on end."
"Well, not to worry my friend! This will refresh you in no time." He speaks with such charisma, keeping that charming smile on his face at all times.
Even when not working, Sparkling carries that same tireless energy everywhere he goes--whether it's the tropical soda islands or when he hosts costume contests and other events in the kingdom.
If he's part of your exploration team, he mainly stays behind you and throws magic cocktails if he sees you or another cookie struggling.
He usually only goes if there's a chance for him to grab ingredients for his establishment (and only he knows the safest ones to grab).
But even then it takes some convincing since he's...not exactly dressed for combat.
If the situation calls for it, he'll do his best to serve you and everyone else with healing powers.

The Main 6 Enjoying Lush
Gonna put a small disclaimer of sorts here XDDD I don’t work for Lush, I just love their products, and feel they’re pretty great. Okay, end disclaimer
Asra
Hair: Avocado shampoo/conditioner bar, New shampoo, Curl Power hair cream, and Jasmine and Henna hair treatment
Body: Let The Good Times Roll face and body cleanser, Intergalactic bath bomb
Face and Lips: Don’t Look at Me face mask and Unicorn lip scrub
Always says ‘hi’ to everyone working that day, they all know him and wait for the next time comes back to share new travel stories
Buys at least two of everything to last longer since he’s always planning for his next destination
Loves it when he can just take a day for himself and relax w/ Faust, but doesn’t do it as often as people may think
Nadia
Hair: Angel Hair shampoo bar and Power conditioner
Body: Goddess bar, Sticky Dates or Sleepy shower gel, Sex Bomb bath bomb, Cosmetic Lad moisturizer, and Therapy massage bar
Face and Lips: Brush Strokes face mask, Imperialis face moisturizer and Rose Lollipop lip balm
Usually comes in on her way home from work, or just orders online. She’s a busy woman, so she doesn’t always have time to do things in person
Will sometimes have joint spa days w/ Portia if they’re both free
Also has speakers in her massive bathroom to play either soothing tropical sounds or soft, relaxing music
Julian
Hair: Flyaway Hair shampoo bar, Big conditioner bar/cream conditioner, and Revive hair treatment
Body: Outback bar soap, Cup ‘o’ Coffee face and body scrub, and Black Rose bath bomb
Face and Lips: Cup ‘o’ Coffee face mask, Cookie Dough lip scrub
Portia introduced him to the shop, and the staff was so patient and nice, he can’t help but always want to go back. Totally gets flustered when they remember him
Will consider trying something new each visit. He likes to know all of his options
The first time he used everything, he swore he could hear himself squeak with how clean he felt. Also got so very flustered with how many people commented on how good he smelled. Total confidence booster XDDD
Portia
Hair: Seanik shampoo bar, The Golden Cap conditioner bar, and Super Milk hair primer
Body: What’s Up Doc? shower gel, and Gummy Bear shower jelly, and Toby’s Magic Cow bath bomb
Face and Lips: Cosmetic Warrior face mask and Carrot Stick lip oil
Came across the shop while out shopping, and now swears by it
Fell in love with how much they had for curly, bouncy hair
Is known by name at her local store, and also knows everyone who works there
Muriel
Hair: Soak and Float shampoo bar and Glory conditioner
Body: Whoosh shower jelly, Dirty Springwash shower gel, Aloe Bamboo cleanser roll, and Lakes bath bomb
Lips: None of Your Beeswax lip balm
Asra dragged him along after going with Portia on a previous run
Felt more than a little overwhelmed by all the options, but the person who ended up helping him was really nice about keeping his personal bubble, so it wasn’t so bad
Glad that he could have the website remember his previous order and he could just get more whenever he’s out. Doesn’t change his orders very often, but sometimes the holiday stuff is good
Lucio
Hair: Daddy-O shampoo and Candy Rain conditioner, Marilyn hair treatment, and Infra Wig hair gel
Body: Mimosa shower gel for the rest of the year, Yog Nog used with Rose Jam for the holidays, Conga shower jelly, and Each Peach (And Two’s a Pair) massage bar
Face and Lips: Catastrophe Cosmetic face mask, Cucumber eye pads, and Hot Lips lip mask and scrub
Was totally turning his nose up at the unassuming shop front at first. Why would he shop at a place that didn’t even have a gold sign? Then he stepped inside...
Spends way too much money because he uses practically everything daily, but the palace staff doesn’t mind because at least that means he smells far better than with the cheap crap he used to use (sorry not sorry Axe lovers XDDDD)
Also buys the makeup, but will tell others that he still uses the $300-$400 stuff. It’s his best beauty secret

Xylitol Research and Evidence
Xylitol is a non-sugar sweetener extracted from the birch tree. It is a five-carbon polyol that has effectively demonstrated itself to be cariogenic, by its action of neutralizing plaque acidity on teeth and repairing tooth enamel. Hence, it is also called the “magic bullet.”
The major production of xylitol goes to the pharmaceutical and oral hygiene industries and to confectionary manufacturers. It has 30% less calories compared to table sugar (calorific value of xylitol is 2.4 kcal/g, while that of sugar is 4 kcal/g) and is used in different food products for children like chewing gum, candies, gelatin, and in lozenges, toothpaste, and mouth rinses.
Xylitol and Dental Caries
Clinical trials on xylitol show that it plays a major role in prevention of dental caries in babies and teenaged children and in the fetus through the mother. Use of xylitol chewing gum is directly related to reduction of dental caries. Moreover, xylitol also reduces the s. mutans transmission from mother to infant.
Another research on children has found that xylitol candy, pops, ice, gums, puddings, and cookie help in arresting dental caries. Follow-up studies five years later showed that xylitol gum resulted in reduction of caries by 59% against no gum use.
Trials conducted in Finland, a major producer of xylitol, proved that children of xylitol-treated mothers’ had lower levels of s. mutans than those treated with fluoride varnish or chlorhexidine.
Other Impacts of Xylitol
Accumulation of excessive xylitol in the intestine leads to retention of water, which results in diarrhea. Consumption of excessive volumes of xylitol can lead to side effects such as gas and bloating. Xylitol which remains unabsorbed is eliminated after being broken into carbon dioxide. A report published by the European Union’s Scientific Committee on Food in 1985 stated that consuming 50 g of xylitol per day can lead to diarrhea. The Committee also affirmed that tabletop sweeteners that contain xylitol must be highlighted with a warning saying: “Too much of consumption may lead to laxative effects.”
The impact of xylitol is much less on the blood sugar levels compared with natural sugar, because of the gradual absorption rate of xylitol. This fact was approved in a xylitol review by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). This indicates that xylitol could help people with disrupted tolerance of glucose, a leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
Health benefits and risks of chocolate
Chocolate is made from tropical Theobroma cacao tree seeds. Its earliest use dates back to the Olmec civilization in Mesoamerica.
After the European discovery of the Americas, chocolate became very popular in the wider world, and its demand exploded.
Chocolate has since become a popular food product that millions enjoy every day, thanks to its unique, rich, and sweet taste.
Fast facts on chocolate
Chocolate consumption has long been associated with conditions such as diabetes, coronary heart disease, and hypertension.
Chocolate is believed to contain high levels of antioxidants.
Some studies have suggested chocolate could lower cholesterol levels and prevent memory decline.
Chocolate contains a large number of calories.
People who are seeking to lose or maintain weight should eat chocolate only in moderation.
History of Candy
Candy is made by dissolving sugar in water or milk to form syrup. The final texture of candy depends on the different levels of temperatures and sugar concentrations. Hot temperatures make hard candy, medium heat make soft candy and cool temperatures make chewy candy. The English word ''candy'' is in use since the late 13th century and it derives from Arabic qandi, meaning ''made of sugar''.
Honey has been a favorite sweet treat throughout recorded history and is even mentioned in the Bible. The ancient Egyptians, Arabs and Chinese candied fruits and nuts in honey which was an early form of candy. One of the oldest hard candies is barley sugar which was made with barley grains. The Mayans and the Aztecs both prized the cocoa bean, and they were the first to drink chocolate. In 1519, Spanish explorers in Mexico discovered the cacao tree, and brought it to Europe. People in England and in America ate boiled sugar candy in the 17th century.
Sour candy trends
Sour candy has captured the attention and taste buds of consumers who look for confectionery experiences outside of the standard of sweet, says Steve Schuster, president of Wisconsin-based Schuster Products, which makes a line of sour products called Face Twisters.
“It is extreme, and people like to push their sensation of taste,” he said. “They are now accustomed to this taste sensation and seek it because it moves beyond the norm.”
Jenny Doan, director of marketing for Warheads maker Impact Confections, agreed. She pointed to consumers’ palates becoming increasingly daring, especially as consumers experience more global cuisine.
“Globalization has exposed consumers to more sour foods across many categories — examples include Greek yogurt, fermented Korean kimchi, Chinese sour plums, etc.” she said. “Also food preparation techniques such as fermentation and pickling are gaining in popularity and spurring development for more sour foods and beverages.”
And the products in development come from several confectionery categories, including chewing gum, hard candy and chewy candy. Chewy candy also has experienced steady growth over the last few years. IRI, a Chicago-based research firm, reported the $3.73 billion non-chocolate chewy category grew by 3 percent in the year ending Feb. 24, 2019.
Of the Top 20 non-chocolate chewy candy brands IRI tracks, a quarter of them are positioned as sour candy, and at least another quarter have sour line extensions. Mondelez International’s Sour Patch Kids pulled in just over $197 million in the reporting period, while Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers generated $133.6 million.
The Untold Truth Of Gummy Bears
There are the people who love to munch on chocolate bars, from Butterfingers to Snickers, indulging in the perfect combination of sweet and salty. And then there are the candy lovers who are obsessed with anything chewy, gooey, and gummy. Gummy candies only seem to be rising in popularity, and really, there's a gummy candy in pretty much every shape out there at this point.
But despite the introduction of gummy candies like frogs, butterflies, and even mini soda bottles, gummy bears will forever be one of the most iconic gummy candies we turn to.
But what's the story behind these little gummy bears? How did they get their start, and what's in them that makes them so perfectly chewy? They're a ridiculously satisfying sweet when you're trying to curb a craving, but as it turns out, there's a lot more to their story than meets the eye. We decided to grab a handful and dig a little deeper. This is the untold truth of gummy bears.
The History of Lollipop Candy
The first incarnation of the lollipop candy was probably created by cave people thousands of years ago who collected honey from beehives with a stick. Not wanting to waste the sweet nectar, they most likely licked the stick, thus inventing the world’s first lollipop. Good for them (good for us). Archaeologists believe that ancient Chinese, Arabs, and Egyptians all produced fruit and nut confections that they "candied" in honey, which serves as a preservative, and inserted sticks into to make easier to eat.If the 17th Century English version doesn’t count as the first modern lollipop, you could look to the Civil War era for another early forerunner, when hard candy was put on the tips of pencils for children. The early 20th Century was the era of automation, which is when the birth of the lollipop as we now know it begins in earnest, but there are still discrepancies as to who is the true creator.
What Is Chewing Gum?
Chewing gum is a soft, rubbery substance that’s designed to be chewed but not swallowed.
Recipes can vary between brands, but all chewing gums have the following basic ingredients:
Gum: The non-digestible, rubbery base used to give gum its chewy quality.
Resin: Usually added to strengthen gum and hold it together.
Fillers: Fillers, such as calcium carbonate or talc, are used to give gum texture.
Preservatives: These are added to extend shelf life. The most popular choice is an organic compound called butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT).
Softeners: These are used to retain moisture and prevent the gum from hardening. They can include waxes like paraffin or vegetable oils.
Sweeteners: Popular ones include cane sugar, beet sugar and corn syrup. Sugar-free gums use sugar alcohols like xylitol or artificial sweeteners like aspartame.
Flavorings: Added to give a desired flavor. They can be natural or synthetic.
Candy
candy, also called confectionery, sweet food product, the main constituent of which generally is sugar. The application of the terms candy and confectionery varies among English-speaking countries. In the United States candy refers to both chocolate products and sugar-based confections; elsewhere “chocolate confectionery” refers to chocolates, “sugar confectionery” to the various sugar-based products, and “flour confectionery” to products such as cakes and pastries. This article is primarily concerned with sugar confectionery. Other types of confections are discussed in the articles baking and cocoa.

Tropical Rainbow Punch
Rarity: Legendary
Stamina: 290
Combi Pet: Volcanic Tiki Torch
Combi Bonus: Changes Bonus Time to SurferBro, giving the Cookie permanent surf effect while in Bonus Time and creates 3 obstacles to destroy.
Abilities: As the cookie runs, an energy bar (with 5 sections to fill) fills 1 bar per 10 seconds, jump is replaced with surf, when surfing, the cookie creates a Rainbow Tropical Popsicle Surfboard, gains a slight boost effect, and drains 1/2 of an energy bar section per 5 seconds. If the cookie destroys 10 obstacles while using this ability, gain +2,000,000 and 1 Alphabet Jelly that has not yet been collected.
Magic Candy: When Cookie Surfs, all Jellies turn into Soda Crystal Jellies (Soda Crystal Jellies grant +7,000 to Jellies original value and increased Cookie’s speed while they use Surf).
Volcanic Tiki Torch: Creates Flaming Tiki Potions at given intervals (heals 30 stamina and gives gradually increasing blast effect for 5 seconds)
Story: A Cookie that seemingly came out of nowhere... Tropical Rainbow Punch claims he had come from an island far away from the oven where he had found a magical lake of rainbow punch, drinking said Punch gave him the ability to bend the ocean to his will, transmuting the water into the same Punch substance he had drank from before. Occasionally he will travel back to the island, honing his surf skills and acting as a sort of guardian for the island. They say his powers are so intense, he was able to calm even the most powerful of sea creatures…..
Quote: “What’s up Bro? Wanna go hit the waves with me and that Soda Kid?”
Relationships:
[Admiration] Crab Apple Cookie- “Ahhh, so cute....... wait, what was I doing again?”
[Trust] Squid Ink Cookie- “Kid’s not doin’ anything wrong! Just give them a chance!”
[Friendly] Soda Cookie- “Whats up bro! Let’s go and surf some more!”
Crab Apple Cookie
Rarity: Legendary
Stamina: 150
Combi Pet: Duriant
Combi Bonus: +3,000 to all Jellies after first revival
Abilities: Cookie transforms at the start of the run into Crab Apple Leviathan, replacing Jump and Slide with two claws that destroy obstacles and collect jellies (While Cookie is in Crab Apple Leviathan form, creates Apple Stem obstacles at given intervals [Apple Stem obstacles act as normal obstacles]).
Magic Candy: When an obstacle is destroyed in Crab Apple Leviathan form, a secondary stamina gauge and a tertiary Apple Core gauge are filled until the cookie runs out of stamina. Dependent upon how much the Stamina meter is filled, Cookie will be revived in regular cookie form with up to 170 Stamina. Dependent upon how much the Apple Core meter is filled, Cookie will receive up to +80,000,000 . In cookie form, when obstacles are destroyed, Cookie gains +5 stamina per obstacle.
Crabby Coconut: Pinches Jellies at given intervals (Pinched Jellies grant Stamina Drain Nullification for 4 seconds and +1,000 to all Jellies that are the same as the Pinched Jelly).
Story: Crab Apple was not always the friendly Island-Dwelling Basket Weaving Cookie he is known to be today. Crab Apple was once a massive oceanic menace, terrorizing the seas and causing tempests everywhere he roamed. That was, until Tropical Rainbow Punch was able to lift the curse placed upon him by granting him access to the Rainbow Punch Lake. Now, with the help of Tropical Rainbow Punch, he is learning to control his powers.
Quote: “I used to be a monster y’know...”
Relationships:
[Admiration] Tropical Rainbow Punch- “He’s such an idiot........ but he is a cute one......”
[Friendly] Squid Ink Cookie- “I feel sorry for them, it’s not fun being called the monster.”
[Tension] Alchemist Cookie- “for the last time, I’m not that gross type of crab apple, stop asking me for flavor analysis samples!”
One of my older Cookie OC Pairings, TRP Cookie is the first image and CA Cookie is the second! Decided to make some tropical cookies a while back, Crab Apple is based off of an image I saw of some tropical apples that were shaped into little crabs. Art by @diond-drawingthings !
