they now have a basement, which i turned into a hot spring i was inspired by the traditional onsen i went to when i was in japan it cost around 8k to make and it's not done yet, but will gradually add more things. i also want to add a gym so that they can work out there instead of the garden

Don't worry, the kids had a fun trip too! Cadence took them to the splash pads and played with them for hours. Marshall loved every moment, but Cindy wasn't expecting it to be so hot and humid.

Happy Winter everyone!

I took a small break to actually play with some of the new expansions I got for the holidays and spend some time with my husband. We had a good time this year but it was a struggle to get into the spirit on my part for sure. When I came back to the drawing board I was still feeling a bit burnt-out, started and demolished quite a few different concepts then finally stopped and reflected a bit on it. I watched some videos on tiny winter houses I had liked before and tried to get the juices flowing. Finally as I was watching I asked myself, what would be my dream winter vacation? No one around but my husband and hot water under falling snow and trees with fireplaces everywhere. Another video started and I had the fuel I needed, and so came this little love letter to my beautiful man!

So without further ado, I present Pine Falls Treehouse! This luxury Sim BnB treehouse will be the perfect romantic getaway you always dreamed of! Your own hot spring, sauna, full kitchen, and what I can only describe as the nap/video game room. Built to appreciate the snow in style and ALONE. And I think after this year a lot of us could use just that! Since it is a rental and based on a real life Air Bnb, I tried to make it feel like it with complimentary thermoses and snack packs, board games, and little things the host might have left for you, because those things are just so satisfying and I will never understand why lol.

The only cc items I used were:

Ravasheen - Counter Fit Fridges (thank you so much for these, all your mods are absolutely wonderful)

Max20 - Easy Bends Fireplace (thank you! I love your mod themes)

These items are totally replaceable functionally but without them I could not achieve the aesthetic I REALLY wanted, if you don't use CC this house could still be used with a little touchup. It also still looks really good in spring if anyone is curious. It blooms with those purple Granite Falls flowers and ivy all over, I was kind of surprised how pretty it was actually.

Another HOTD Sims House Update!

I have made Jeyne Arryn's Lesbian Mojo Dojo Casa House as voted on in this poll. Gonna post the outside here, & then pictures of the interior will be below the cut

the welcome mat is a cat, because I decided Jeyne & Jessamyn are cat moms. They deserve to have cats named after dead family members & problematic lesbians. It's what they would want

Héctor is toddling about the house now, and he looks like a mix of Luisa and John. He has grown on me a lot and now it is hard to imagine my life without the boy. No matter what, he is our son, and Andrés and I are his family now that John has left. I introduced Helen to him and she cannot help but love him either. Of course, he is too young to understand the nature of our relationship yet. Helen likes being an auntie to little Héctor and she keeps me company while Andrés is at work.
