A Little Mod Showcase

Mods created by @janesimsten and @littlbowbub that add flavor to old fashioned game play. You should check out both of these awesome creators though, they have more mods than I'm showing you here!

Archery Skill by JaneSimsten. This mod comes with multiple bow options, three different target ranges, and options to compete with your fellow sims. Kids can practice their bow skills too.Also, its a 10 level skill! This is just a fun flavor to add to any country living save.

Of course if you are into archery, maybe your sims also want to go hunting? You can do that with:

Marksmanship Skill by JaneSimsten. This mod brings your sims rifles, pistols, and 3 different lengths of shooting range to practice their marksmanship. For funsies, you can also get into duels with other sims with this 10 level skill.

The cool part for archery though? This one comes with a hunting spot that works with both guns and bows! Once you reach skill level 3, you can start the hunt. Hunt for multiple critters. These animals actually show up in your inventory and your sim can place them in the world if you need something a little more gruesome for your story telling. That said, you don't actually see any animals killed with this mod - a shot is fired and an animal appears in your inventory.

If you want to use these animals that you've hunted for meat, you can do that with:

Medieval Cookbook by Littlbowbub. This one is so much more than a cookbook - but I will always stand by Jess's recipes and craftsmanship. If you have the medieval cookbook mod installed, you can click on the animal you've hunted and carve it for meat that can be used for cooking.

If you don't want to deal with hunting by marksmanship or archery, the medieval mod has a nifty sign post that comes with it that allows you to do SO MANY rabbit hole activities! Really. You can go to a rabbit hole for fishing, hunting, gathering herbs and plants - which LBB has added some custom herbs for cooking that can be gathered!

You can also go search for firewood, which you want to keep in mind if you get the add-on for this mod that requires firewood for all fireplaces and fire places to light them. You can also download a couple of fun options for custom cooking fireplaces. Using the actual cookbook then, find a variety of medieval dishes to pick from!

Going for hard mode in your sims game? Install this mod with LBB's Homestead Helper and related homesteading mods to be forced to make very part of every food item your sims want to consume.

The Functional Spinning Wheel by JaneSimsten. The spinning wheel looks awesome and the animation is flawless. You get the option to spin thread or pull yarn. With this mod installed, that thread and yarn are required for knitting and cross stitch. Fun side note, if you play as a spell caster, they can cast a spinning wheel curse on a newborn like Sleeping Beauty and isn't that just the neatest thing?

Rideable Dragons by JaneSimsten. Guys, I was not prepared for this little fire starting, flying lizard to amuse me so much. You purchase the egg and hatch the dragon yourself. They start out as manageable smallish sized child dragons and grow up into great big dragons. The dragons have behaviors attached to them like Cottage Living animals, so you can pet them, clean them, feed them, give them gifts. They stay in one spot and do not move around on the ground though. That;s a good thing, Until you train them not to start fires, these guys are hazardous to your lot!

This comes with a 10 level Dragon Rider skill. At level 5 you can begin to take your adult dragons for flights. Its fun. Watch them in Tab mode if you really want to see how far your dragon and riders are going.

Climbeable Tree by JaneSimsten. This one is a little thing that is lovely for screenshots. It will take your sims a few tries to learn how to climb the tree the first time. It appears to be related to the fitness skill though.

Blacksmithing Skill by Jane Simsten. This one is cool. The blacksmithing skill is another 10 level skill. You mine the ore you need to craft from rocks that come as part of the mod (their in the rock category in landscaping!) Then you make that ore into ingots. The ingots can be made into swords, maces, pole arms, sword racks, suits of armor, and more! This would make for an awesome way to make that medieval weapons shop that every town needs. It takes some serious time and effort to get started though!

Lute Skill by Jane Simsten. Its a lute, with custom lute noises! 10 level skill, options to write and license songs and romance other sims are here. Our bards can have lutes!

Playable Harp Skill by Jane Simsten. Guys, the animations and the custom sounds on this are so lovely. I feel like I've stepped into a lovely wonderland when my sims are playing the harp. It just feels magical. 10 level skill.

There are more and I may get to them in the future, but this is what I played with today and it was lovely. Thanks to Jane and Jess for all of their hard work to make our games more magical!

[30/01/2024] Fixed issue where Sims failed placing books back and being unable to reach bookcases and fridge

Honey Production (Mod)

Hi guys! I’m very pleased to present to you the Honey Production Mod!

This mod gives you 3 brand new functional objects, around 60 new craftables, new custom skill, custom animation and shelves to keep your craftables on.

1. Wild Beehive

Can be found under ‘Outdoor Activities’ and it costs 55$, has 3 recolor options

This is a tree log that contains one hive. It has bees visual effect and one interaction - Collect Wild Honey.

This interaction is available every 12 hours, and has 50% chance of success, if your Sim collect succesfully honey, they will find in their inventory a basket filled with honey (tha can be sold on Plopsy), if the interaction fails, they will end up with uncomfortable buff and no honey.

After your Sim gather Wild Honey, they can use the Honey Press, to filter it - which will give 6 jars with wild honey. The jars can be consumed or sold to a Health Food Store for profit.

2. Honey Press

Can be found under Outdoor or Indoor Activities, it costs 340$ and has 5 recolor options

Once a Sim has collected a basket with wild honey from the beehive or honey form the Bee Box (Seasons EP), they can perform different interactions on the press.

The interactions come with custom animation. Filtering Wild Honey result in receiving 6 jars with wild honey that can be collected for the press.

To press raw honey requires 1 jar of honey collected from the bee box (Seasons EP required!). The interaction gives three jars with random type of honey.

Jars of Honey may be used to eat, cook, combat cold  or sold for profit.

2a. Honey Types

There are in total 25 different types of honey!

However, your Sim can produce only 5 out of them, depending where they live. With 3 types of honey being common for most regions, and 2 types being specific only to certain regions.

Multiflower Honey can be produced in all regions! Clover, Acacia and Sunflower are also common types of honey.

Based on regions:

Komoberi - Alfalfa, Acacia, Clover, Heather or Multiflower Honey

Henford-On-Bagley - Forest, Clover, Eucalyptus, Dandelion or Multiflower Honey

Newcrest - Sunflower, Manuka, Buckwheat, Multiflower or Macadamia Honey

Oasis Spring - Acacia, Multiflower, Chestnut, Macadamia or Avocado Honey

Sulani - Orange Blossom, Clover, Sage, Thyme or Multiflower Honey

Brindleton Bay - Rosemary, Acacia, Sunflower, Rapeseed or Multiflower Honey

Willow Creek - Blueberry, Multiflower, Lavender, Clover or Linden Honey

Windenburg - Pinetree, Multiflower, Tupelo, Wildflower or Clover Honey

All Other Worlds - Sunflower, Acacia, Clover, Multiflower or Clover Honey

You can find all honey in debug mode, when you search by their name.

Pinetree, Chestnut, Wildflower and Sunflower Honey have energizing effect when consumed. Which means they will increase slightly your Sim’s energy.

Clover Honey contains more calories than other honey.

Multiflower, Orange Blossom, Dandelion, Lavender and Linden Honey do NOT help combating sickness. All other honey boost the immune system and helps overcoming sickness if your Sim is sick. The honey collected from the wild beehive has stronger effect for combating sickness.

All honey can be consumed or sold for profit to Health Food Store.

All honey is tagged as sugar, so it can be used in cooking recipes and is fully SCCO compatible!

3. Mead Brewer

Can be found under Outdoor Activities, it costs 350$ and has 11 recolors

Sims with the proper ingredients may use their  harvested honey to brew mead for consumption or profit. There are 36 mead types.

The Mead Brewer works off-the-grid and it doesn’t break (or it’s extremely rare, in my playtest it didin’t break at all). To begin brewing first your Sim needs to light up the firewood. Then they will be able to see the interaction to make Mead.

Mead Brewing

Brewing requires Mead Brewing Skill, the higher the skill, the  more types of mead a sim can brew. When a brewing cycle  has completed the fire in the fireplace will stop automatically and a Large Barrel will be produced.  This Barrel can be broken down into 6  Mead Bottles, that can be sold (read below) or opened and consumed. Each bottle contains 6 cups with Mead.

Mead Brewing Skill

This is a brand new 10-level skill, which allows you to turn your Sim into professional Mead Brewer gifting them with this rare skill set.

Mead Brewing skill is required to unlock different Mead types and selling interactions!

To obtain the skill, your Sim can either use the Mead Brewer, or buy skill books from the bookshelf or computer.

At level 1 your Sim can craft only the Classic Mead and as the skill grows more recipes are unlocked.

At level 6 of the Mead Brewing skill, your Sim can sell their mead at Farmer’s Market - the profit is multiplied by 2.

At level 10 your Sim can sell their mead to a Liquor Store, the profit is slightly less, but if you have Get Famous, they will gain fame points.

Mead

Each cycle of brewing gives you a barrel with mead.

Each barrel contains 6 bottles of the said Mead, that can be sold or open and drank. 

Depending of  the type mead, there are a few possible buffs your Sim might get. Also, if your Sim keep drinking after the 'Relaxing Remedy buff’ wears off, there is a chance your Sim might get a dizzy buff from the alcohol.

4. Extra

I also created 3 different shelf designs where you can store your produce, or build your own Mead cellar.

         4t3 Convert from Simverse’s (TSM) Computers Set

A 2 items mini-set that finally makes using the computer a little bit more medieval on the game! Originally converted from Mt4 by Simverses, and now converted from 4t3 by me! Now, you can use a book, or a parchment to use as a computer!

They’re fully recolorable and you can use any pattern (wood, stone, etc) to match with your medieval house or castle!

ALL CREDITS GO TO @simverses! IT’S NOT MY MESH, AND IT’S NOT MY TEXTURES, I JUST CONVERTED IT TO THE SIMS 3!

I’ve made this same book at the past, but it was supposed to be used with a specific desk that was in that same set. Now, there is a flat version, where you can use it in ANY you want! Plus, a totally new “computer”! Enjoy! <3

Murf's Top 50 Mods - Part 3 (2020 - 2023 Edition)

I made a Top 50 list (Pt 1 and Pt2) back in 2016, talking about mods that I've used & love. But with all the goated content that the amazing TS3 community continues to churn out, I NEEDED to update my list! This one in no way diminishes or negates the other mods I've already listed--like, I shouldn't have to sit here and explain how NRAAS continues to carry TS3 on its freaking shoulders, ok. This is just MORE mods, the Top 50 most RECENT ones I've tried out since, like, quarantine.

I am a VERY niche simmer--I love fantasy gameplay, so my fave mods are the ones that not only offer general quality of life improvements, but also add new abilities and interactive objects inspired by different cultures, time periods, or genres. So y'all already KNOW which ones have earned my top spots. They're not based on which mods are "better," just which ones I personally have been using the most.

1: Smooth Patch, LazyDuchess

I've already gushed about this mod, but oh well. Like--I use an EFFTON of CC. My Live Mode gameplay itself doesn't tend to lag so much as my game's slow to LOAD, slow to save, CAS is a nightmare, I can do my taxes waiting for the Misc Decor section to open, etc etc. But the Smooth Patch loads everything so much quicker for me! 😭

One thing is that on the EA App version (curse you, EA) the Master Controller package didn't work on my end, so I took it out, but everything else has been great!

2: Search Mod, LazyDuchess

Speaking of the Misc Decor section -- HOW LONG did we ask EA for a Search function y'all? Only to be ignored. Then the second TS4 is released, it ain't got a effing thing in it, but it's got a Search function??? 🤔 ISTG it's like the simgurus were told to take all of the TS3 community's best suggestions, and poach them for TS4 (like vampire coffins--NO I'm not over it!). WHY do modders have to do your frikkin job for you, EA?! I call EA lazy all the time cuz EA you suck, so it's the most ironic thing ever that LazyDuchess is out here KILLING IT.

My ONLY "complaint" about the Search mod is the position of the icon. I use A LOT of Collection Files, and I noticed that the Search icon actually covers the Delete button when in the Collection viewer. So I can't delete items in collections with the Search icon in the way.

But this is a MINOR nitpick--I almost never delete items, it's just something I noticed is all.

3 - 8: OCCULT MODS: EVERYTHING by @puddingface1902

Y'all already know the Enhanced Witches mod is my favorite mod ever made. But PF1902 also made cool enhancements to the Fairies, Genies, Vampires, Werewolves, and Mermaids too! My sims are usually Nraas hybrids (e.g.: Sakura is a faery, witch & plantsim; Magnus Bane is a witch & genie; etc.), so it's FANTASTIC having so many new abilities for my magical occults. 😍

9 - 11: OCCULT MODS by xantak22

Even more occult mods at MTS are for enhanced Plantsims, Ghosts, and Mummies! I was dying for more Plantsim abilities, omg, they're my 3rd fave occult after Witches & Fae.

12: Sim Control Tools by Knight

Sooooo many quality of life mods have come out! ^0^

I've been ABUSING the Teleport To Me function, to quickly get sims off of lots & where I need them to be. It also lets sims unlock more Social/Romantic interactions. (Now all we need is a way to interact with sims from EA's useless thumbnails.)

13 - 18: @anitmb's mods

There are SOOOO many--most I've yet to even try. But so far newer ones I've been using are the Deck of Cards (FINALLY something other than EA's bulky AF poker table!), Farm Mod (look at all these CHICKENS!), and Hunting mod so my 8000 archer sims can actually hunt! (Ofc I've also used the Woodcutter and Anvil mods in my older gameplay posts, too.) And @mspoodle1's edit of the Cup of Tea mod is so pretty.

19: @mspoodle1's Poker table

Another excellent cards mod is this medieval style poker table I use a lot now, too.

20: @omedapixel's Wildflowers DR

I like EA's default wildflowers from SSNS, but Omeda's are just sooooo much nicer. (I haven't gotten around to trying out their Harvestable Plant DR yet.)

21: Swordfighting mod by CyrusBanefort

En garde! This mod is so freaking epic!

One thing I've noticed is that the game lags while it waits for the mod to boot up (a message has to first pop up saying it's running when you first launch your saves). But other than that this mod is excellent.

22 - 24: Yoga rugs

I've long been using the yoga rugs by Kitabalibar and the edited one from @mspoodle1. But now there's the newest one by @twinsimming, with brand new animations & features. The more the merrier I say, LOL. What's especially neat is the kids wobbling around as they try to do yoga! :3

25 - 30: TheSweetSimmer's mods--so cute! :3

Omg so frikkin many, I can't even catch up! The interactions are so freaking precious, like from the More Toddler Interactions (cuddle, look at, etc) & Biggest Little Mod (hug legs), I've never had so much fun playing with kids! <3 And I LOVE that they can Catch Butterflies and Pick Flowers--you'd think plantsim children would be able to do this by default, EA! Honestly, just grab everything by TSS, your kid sims will thank you!

31 - 33: @spheresims Medieval/Nature/Tribal mods

Y'all know I'm crazy about the Functional Fireplaces mod (the cauldrons, baby! 😈), but the One with Nature and Wildlife Hunting mods are great too, perfectly complimenting the off-the-grid realness.

34: @olomayasims/Cmomoney Smoking Mod Overhaul

The original smoking mod was on my first Top 50 list, so it's awesome seeing it get new upgrades, interactions & animations.

I've never smoked IRL, but sooooo many of my sims just puff-puff away; I'm such an enabler. U_U Now all we need is cigars and pipes!

35 - 38: Callia-Evergreen/Camkitty's CAS CC for animal hybrids at MTS

Not a "mod" per se, but whatever--my list my rules! I love ALL of their CC, but I get SO MUCH use out of animal-themed CC like the digitigrade sliders, wolf feet, lizard tails, and fae wings. Do check them out if you like to play with horror and monster-sims!

39: @greenplumbboblover's Sheep

EASILY one of the most incredible mods I've ever seen. Like....HOW? (Once @omedapixel's Goats are done I'm gonna start screaming someone do llamas pleeeeeaaaaase!!!)

40: Arsil's musical instruments mod

I used the sax most recently in my IWTV gameplay, and it was excellent, perfect for the NOLA vibes! However, although I use the flute A LOT more (for my Untamed gameplay--it's been such a GODSEND!), I really wish the hands were positioned better, preferably using the poses from Chisims' flute poseset. (But I don't eff with poses/animations, otherwise I'd do it myself. U_U) Ah well, it's still one of my fave mods though.

41 - 42: Flower Arranging mod by zoe22 + @mspoodle1's Florist Collection

Guys, I've been wanting this mod since FOREVER! ^0^ (I swear, the best thing about TS4 is all the 4t3 conversions, LMAO!) I just wish Teens could Dabble and use it, too--all they can do is stock the table.

43: Just Sit/Nap Anywhere by FloTheory

Sometimes you just want sims to fall asleep anywhere, DANG, EA!

44: @sweetdevil-sims' Toddler Food DR

Cuz EA's food is UUUUUUUUGLY~! I kept forgetting to install it, only to be rudely reminded every time I had to look at my toddler sims eating MUD.

45 - 46: @mspoodle1's mail pen quill DR and @omedapixel's pencil quill DR

I looooove quill pens IRL (ballpoint pens, not the fountain pens--I'm way too messy), so having mods that let my sims use them too is 👌

47: Fireflies Enhanced! by Canibal_MLO

I love anything that enhances the wildlife and collectibles/harvestables to be more dynamic and interactive. And I was JUST about to do a firefly catching scene for my IWTV insp. gameplay, so this came right on time! The falling leaves effect is delightful, but I kinda wish it was falling flower petals instead, cuz ofc I do. 🌸

48: Unicorn Aurora DR by Canibal_MLO

GORGEOUS. This mod replaces the unicorn mist with northern lights, like.... I love the genius ideas simmers have.

49: Custom Plumbbob Color tool by CrossTheMersey

What a neat idea! Although the default Maxis colors are ingrained in my psyche, with the iconic green plumbbob, as soon as I saw this mod I knew I wanted to at least try something different and play around with it.

50: @aa6x7's Teru Teru Bozu + other edits [Honorable Mention]

I rave about Cmomoney's Time/Weather Mod all the time, I use it constantly. AA6x7's Teru Teru Bozu (Japanese "Sunshine Monk" charms) is kinda like a simpler version of it, as it just resets bad weather back to Sunny. But it's such a cute idea and perfect for my gameplay. I don't have anywhere near the kind of free time that I used to, so my simming has been put on the backburner and I've missed all kinds of cool and exciting releases. But trust: I am taking note, so that I know what to try once I have time.

I wanted to make a gift for the couple of people that offered to help me with my neighborhood terrain. This one is for @12raben and I hope it fits in somewhere in their medieval game.

First I converted this armorer shop sign from @dravenxivsims4cc, originally from The Witcher 3.

Then I cloned this functional water cooler by @simi-simmer using meshes by @soloriya from TS4. I wanted to make it so you could place the barrel anywhere but there was too much clipping on most surfaces, so the barrel sits on a little table instead.

There's still some clipping, of course, but not as bad. Don't mind the fact that I placed vines that eat half of the mesh for the preview picture. :P

The object can be found under appliances with the dishwashers; it has 6 wood recolors and 2 subsets. I made also a decor only version that you can place everywhere.

I imagine you already have a default for the game's water glass, but in case you don't I made you one using a mug by Soloriya as well.

What your plans for future mods? I love you work

Thank you nonny! :) Lots of things actually! But it’s funny that you ask because I was thinking of releasing a list of things I had in mind :p

After I finish the Interests & Hobbies mod, I actually had the following idea:

1. Better parenting system.  Every time I play ts3, all the baby and toddler stuff just feels... so bland. Now, the Sweet toddler did a great job adding more flavor to that! But I’d like to make a bigger mod that specifically focuses on that issue itself.

2. Creating a program that should make creating functional objects easier There’s a reason why TS4 has more moddable stuff compared to ts3, and that’s because EA moved everything that once TS3 had done in C#, is now in XML. So I might start working on this while creating the Interests & Hobbies mod, just so that I have to write less code and click more boxes ;D And know what would help for the non-programmers out there! 

However, I’m not sure yet whether I should write this program as a website (I am a web developer anyway, so it would bring me a lot of joy to do that) or just as a regular .exe program :). The plus side for a web version is that mac people would be able to join in!

3. Better occult system. I’m noticing a lot of awesome suggestions people have for the interests & hobbies mod regarding supernaturals and making better interactions for occults :) So I might split all those interactions and put them into a different mod, unless people rather want it to be part of the interests mod?

4. Shareable stories: I actually was working on this before but scrapped it since back then I didn’t have the right thoughts on what I wanted out of this mod. But I do now :)

Basically what it’s supposed to be is that for each household in the game you create their own stories and how things should be. So, for example, You’d like to share your storyline of the families in Sunset Valley! Where Agnes resurrects her husband and making sure that Kaylynn decides to become a maid, etc :) And being able to share those with others!

5. Better minor animals!

I used to own 2 parrots with who I did pretty much everything with, and in the sims we don’t exactly do much with these types of animals. Possibly I’d also like to include wilder animals like foxes and (I guess tamed) wolves that actually do stuff rather than just randomly heckling your sims lol. And just better birds in nature, because birds are great :p

6. Default replace the scenery where it becomes more updated to its current year

TS3 with tons of mods can be super pretty! And more update-y looking, but there doesn’t seem a lot of different textures to choose from that fits your gameplay style (Some have a very cartoony style, others more realistic) So I’d love to do something with sceneries because I adore pretty sceneries!

7. Introducing functional skyboxes!

I think I might have found a way to get entirely rid of EA’s skybox and doing it, I guess, my way :p Having done skyboxes in Unity and Unreal engine before, I think I might have figured out how to do this. I really would like to make this in such a sense that other creators can make their own as well! It would mean I have to do the programming, but I’m totally fine to sacrifice myself for that :p

8. Having more realistic houseplants :)

This includes watering them, or even grow your own indoor plant! Whether that’s against a wall, the ceiling or just a regular plant on a table/ground, I really just would love the plantmoms/dad among us to feel like their passion is also possible in the sims :)

9. Anything else really that I suddenly come up with. Which happened with the medieval head and the realistic butterfly mod (Which I’m still shaking my fist at lol and working on and off for it.)

And of course, I'd love to do a ‘community’ requested challenge, since you all really gave me back that community feeling that I once felt when TS4 wasn’t released yet :) I really appreciate all the feedback you all give and the amazing ideas shared when I’m working on a mod! It really feels like we’re doing this all together!

Honey Production (Mod)

Hi guys! I'm very pleased to present to you the Honey Production Mod!

This mod gives you 3 brand new functional objects, around 60 new craftables, new custom skill, custom animation and shelves to keep your craftables on.

1. Wild Beehive

Can be found under 'Outdoor Activities' and it costs 55$, has 3 recolor options

This is a tree log that contains one hive. It has bees visual effect and one interaction - Collect Wild Honey.

This interaction is available every 12 hours, and has 50% chance of success, if your Sim collect succesfully honey, they will find in their inventory a basket filled with honey (tha can be sold on Plopsy), if the interaction fails, they will end up with uncomfortable buff and no honey.

After your Sim gather Wild Honey, they can use the Honey Press, to filter it - which will give 6 jars with wild honey. The jars can be consumed or sold to a Health Food Store for profit.

2. Honey Press

Can be found under Outdoor or Indoor Activities, it costs 340$ and has 5 recolor options

Once a Sim has collected a basket with wild honey from the beehive or honey form the Bee Box (Seasons EP), they can perform different interactions on the press.

The interactions come with custom animation. Filtering Wild Honey result in receiving 6 jars with wild honey that can be collected for the press.

To press raw honey requires 1 jar of honey collected from the bee box (Seasons EP required!). The interaction gives three jars with random type of honey.

Jars of Honey may be used to eat, cook, combat cold  or sold for profit.

2a. Honey Types

There are in total 25 different types of honey!

However, your Sim can produce only 5 out of them, depending where they live. With 3 types of honey being common for most regions, and 2 types being specific only to certain regions.

Multiflower Honey can be produced in all regions! Clover, Acacia and Sunflower are also common types of honey.

Based on regions:

Komoberi - Alfalfa, Acacia, Clover, Heather or Multiflower Honey

Henford-On-Bagley - Forest, Clover, Eucalyptus, Dandelion or Multiflower Honey

Newcrest - Sunflower, Manuka, Buckwheat, Multiflower or Macadamia Honey

Oasis Spring - Acacia, Multiflower, Chestnut, Macadamia or Avocado Honey

Sulani - Orange Blossom, Clover, Sage, Thyme or Multiflower Honey

Brindleton Bay - Rosemary, Acacia, Sunflower, Rapeseed or Multiflower Honey

Willow Creek - Blueberry, Multiflower, Lavender, Clover or Linden Honey

Windenburg - Pinetree, Multiflower, Tupelo, Wildflower or Clover Honey

All Other Worlds - Sunflower, Acacia, Clover, Multiflower or Clover Honey

You can find all honey in debug mode, when you search by their name.

Pinetree, Chestnut, Wildflower and Sunflower Honey have energizing effect when consumed. Which means they will increase slightly your Sim's energy.

Clover Honey contains more calories than other honey.

Multiflower, Orange Blossom, Dandelion, Lavender and Linden Honey do NOT help combating sickness. All other honey boost the immune system and helps overcoming sickness if your Sim is sick. The honey collected from the wild beehive has stronger effect for combating sickness.

All honey can be consumed or sold for profit to Health Food Store.

All honey is tagged as sugar, so it can be used in cooking recipes and is fully SCCO compatible!

3. Mead Brewer

Can be found under Outdoor Activities, it costs 350$ and has 11 recolors

Sims with the proper ingredients may use their  harvested honey to brew mead for consumption or profit. There are 36 mead types.

The Mead Brewer works off-the-grid and it doesn't break (or it's extremely rare, in my playtest it didin't break at all). To begin brewing first your Sim needs to light up the firewood. Then they will be able to see the interaction to make Mead.

Mead Brewing

Brewing requires Mead Brewing Skill, the higher the skill, the  more types of mead a sim can brew. When a brewing cycle  has completed the fire in the fireplace will stop automatically and a Large Barrel will be produced.  This Barrel can be broken down into 6  Mead Bottles, that can be sold (read below) or opened and consumed. Each bottle contains 6 cups with Mead.

Mead Brewing Skill

This is a brand new 10-level skill, which allows you to turn your Sim into professional Mead Brewer gifting them with this rare skill set.

Mead Brewing skill is required to unlock different Mead types and selling interactions!

To obtain the skill, your Sim can either use the Mead Brewer, or buy skill books from the bookshelf or computer.

At level 1 your Sim can craft only the Classic Mead and as the skill grows more recipes are unlocked.

At level 6 of the Mead Brewing skill, your Sim can sell their mead at Farmer's Market - the profit is multiplied by 2.

At level 10 your Sim can sell their mead to a Liquor Store, the profit is slightly less, but if you have Get Famous, they will gain fame points.

Mead

Each cycle of brewing gives you a barrel with mead.

Each barrel contains 6 bottles of the said Mead, that can be sold or open and drank. 

Depending of  the type mead, there are a few possible buffs your Sim might get. Also, if your Sim keep drinking after the 'Relaxing Remedy buff' wears off, there is a chance your Sim might get a dizzy buff from the alcohol.

4. Extra

I also created 3 different shelf designs where you can store your produce, or build your own Mead cellar.
