Zoya

WIP: The Secret Guild for Heroes

Name: Zoya

Pronouns: She/her

Age: 16

Powers: Element Manipulation

Zoya wants to escape from her overachieving parents, from the never ending pressure, from a reality that doesn't understand her. And she does exactly that when she signs up for the Guild. A few days in, she realises that she may be being offered more than what she bargained for. A friend long assumed to be dead, powers beyond her imagination, worlds of her dreams- Zoya is excited for her first mission with the Guild.

Edit: Getting a lot of queries about this so here we go. I did not name this character after myself. I named myself after this character. When I joined tumblr and needed a name, I thought who better than my favorite oc. I'm called Zoya because she's Zoya. So that's that. Hope things have cleared up!

Name: Sonia

Pronouns: She/her

Powers: Time and space travel

Sonia is one of the most unique Heroes to ever exist. And she is proud to be the best at everything she does. Except that people rarely ever like that in others. Sonia and her twin brother, Samarth, joined the Guild three years ago. It's their first mission without a supervisor and Sonia needs it to go well. A frustrating rivalry, a new friend, and general annoyance at people with lesser competence- Sonia is determined to prove herself to everyone.

I'm planning a new wip intro soon. It's the one with TLQ characters and has a similar plot but I've planned this one instead of pantsing like TLQ. Anyways, I have the synopsis ready. Just need to format it before posting. I'll probably do it by tomorrow or the day after.

10. Do any of your OCs contain any symbolism in themselves/their story?

Holly and Malika from A Human Heart. Throughout the story, the contrast between humans and machines is highlighted. Holly is a robot and Malika is human but their personalities are in stark contrast. Holly is more 'humane' than Malika has ever been. Their journey would bring out the metaphor of 'humanity'.

11. Which character has been through the most design changes?

Little Leo from The Secret Guild for Heroes. They've been through personality changes, physical design changes, moral changes. They were originally supposed to be a god, now they're a wizard (unless I change my mind again).

12. Which OC is most likely to kill somebody?

That would be Gustave Laurent from The Secret Guild for Heroes. He's got a short temper and great control over his powers. In fact, he wants to kill someone new everyday and would have happily done so if it weren't for his moral compass (i.e. Zoya).

15. Which OC/s make you think of yourself the most?

Without question, Zoya. Sonia and Eva too contain many aspects of my personality but Zoya and I are so similar she could be called my alter ego. In fact, when I first started using social media, I used the name Zoya as an internet name because by that point I'd started to identify with her. She was my favorite oc at the time, she still is.
