My personal opinion is that people who aren't confident or don't completely trust their partner are jealous. Since Doflamingo is a person with extremely high self-esteem, the second option may be his reason to be jealous. He has a God complex, literally. That's why no one will envy you if you dare to look at someone else while in a relationship with Doflamingo. For him, this will mean you have no taste and no brain. In such a case, you will be punished.

It's what the canon tells us.

However, is it a healthy relationship if one partner doesn't trust the other? Such love looks more like a birdcage for two, where they both suffer. The first partner waits when the second one will betray, and the second is hurt because the first doesn't trust.

Now let's think again.

Doflamingo is a man who likes to control everything, yes. All of us know that. Therefore, we may think he will be satisfied with a state of affairs in which his partner is under total control. But still, family members for him aren't just tools he uses to achieve his personal goals. A person must be trustworthy to create such a strong group relationship in which so many people idolize one.

Yes, it seems Doflamingo's subordinates are just like him, with no moral principles, with the same cruel worldview, and it made their rapprochement easier. Who knows. But yet, even under these conditions, Doflamingo had to convince them all he is the man who can lead them.

So he can build a relationship full of trust. He trusts them because he knows they won't betray him in any case and circumstances. Logically, a loved one belongs to his family circle. But a highlight here is that this person is even higher than his family. Such relationships are always more rooted and more intimate.

I wrote earlier he might have trust issues. Of course, he has them because, from his point of view, his brother betrayed him, and his father was the reason their entire blood family had to suffer for a long time. Therefore, Doflamingo's S/O must prove to him that he or she is worthy of trust, as his found family did, to deserve his positive attitude. It will be really hard, but the result is worth it.

So my answers are:

1) Of course, he's jealous as hell.

2) But there is an opportunity to earn Doflamingo's trust, so the option in which he fully trusts his partner also exists.

2) However, I also have a headcanon, where he and his S/O together flirt with and seduce men and women for a bet because it's fucking fun.

Gintoki is a master chef, especially when it comes to baking

But he’s also incredibly lazy, he cooks once every two weeks and has shinpachi and kagura do the rest of the work

So sadly the world doesn’t really get to taste his cooking

If ya’ll were to bake together it would be at your place without a doubt

This lad is b r o k e, theres no way he can afford ingredients to waste on cakes or cookies

Especially with the little gremlin yato around

Baking together can be a nightmare or a dream

Cause on one hand i feel like he’d complain if you did something wrong and immediately over dramatically fix it

On the other hand he’d just be really happy(though he would look bored as always) spending time with his s/o

If you’re not careful he might add much more sugar than necessary

Gin has a sweet tooth of a god so expect really sweet things

Probably would say a few not so kid friendly lines when dealing with frosting or somethin

Gin would wear his pink little apron and he knows he looks good in it

He’d rest his chin on top of your head while you work on something

Might start a little flour fight depending on how playful he’s feeling 

Whatever the two of you make would be an absolute delight

The samurai would probably eat like 80% of it, but hey! Thats 19% less than usual so that just proves how much he loves you

Actually scratch that, he’d add a twist and make it a rated R line

Since you said you weren’t american i tried to make this not americanized (bc thats what i know) and relatively general so i hope i didnt trash this 

ok so i want to start this by saying i can actually see atsumu as a top tier type of bf to bring and heres why:

hes not gonna show up there and be awkward as fuck. Hes not gonna be scared to engage in conversation. Also not gonna be the type of s/o thats like “babe come with me to fix a plate”. His ass is gonna just GO do it

he makes a perfect balance between a dork and smooth talker so he can vibe with all your family. Bashful laughs and genuinely polite greetings when he first meets your parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles to being able to act a fool with you and your cousins when the older folk are away

so when you first approach him like “hey do you wanna come to my family’s cookout,” hes excited. For one- its canon that this man loves food and loves to eat so hell yeah hes in. Second, i can imagine the fact that you’re comfortable enough in your relationship to bring him (whos obvs not black) is a big deal. Like you want him to meet your more extended family? hes like “oh shit i gotta impress” (also people be out here demonizing him more than needed- hes an asshole but not that bad, so even before he was aware of the more cultural aspect of it and is super respectful and wants to learn)

So you pull up with him, and I can imagine him being lowkey nervous the day of/drive to and youre just like “relax, just dont be you” as a joke and he glares at you and youre just like “I’m kidding”

Give him a tiny pep talk, he’d appreciate it. It’d be one of the times you get the sweet side and not the “yall just wild ass best friends who are dating” type him.

The minute he steps out of the car he literally hits a 180 on you and suddenly isn’t nervous. The music is a vibe, your hand is in his, and that food smells good. Hes annoying though and as yall walk thru to the central location hes like “watch your family like me more than you”

Anyways when yall get there its not early but its not late either, so food is highkey still cooking, save for a few hot dogs (which i’m gonna say turkey or veggie for my own selfish indulging LMAO). And this mans does NOT care. He’s still gonna eat 2-3

Anyways, you make quick rounds with him by your side to greet: he straight turns on the charm. To the point where its like “OK but you didn’t even charm me like this sir.” And trust me he eats the compliments your aunties and shit shoot off at him up. (but also props to you because you bagged a man who is fine as fuck) 

Whether you say something or not, he asks YOU to go dance. So yall got your little red solo cups and he smooth grabbing your hand and just straight vibing with you. (he looked at youtube videos and learned to step much to your surprise so uh, you better know how to before he embarrasses you). bonus: when youre alone with close cousins later they like: spill the tea. his hips? d**k game gotta go crazy

anyways towards the later half of the day where the air is a lot more settled and everyone is just chilling, hes over with some of your guy cousins (lets say yall around the same age). Anyways you walk over after talking with your parents, beer in hand for him. Hes the type of bf to just wrap his hands around your middle even while your standing and you gotta give him the look that his hands better not slip lower. But yeah, your fam teasing anyways F in the chat

idk if hes more touchy because its getting late and the adrenaline and excitement for the day is winding down, or its because hes that comfortable with your cousins and they all friends now so if he wanna touch on his baby hes going to

hes actually really good at cleanup (now if only he’d exercise that not around your family lol). Hes handing out the foil, helping empty garbage cans, etc: yeah hes invited back, your family is impressed

yeah now hes tired, its dark its late and as yall are walking back to the car, he offers a squeeze to your hand. “Thank you for inviting me. I had fun.” He also loved seeing you being unapologetically black and you and not having to code switch and yeah he fell in love right then and there at the bright smiles and just pure joy (hes not gonna tell you that part tho, maybe if your sleep and he thinks you cant hear but don’t hold your breath on him voicing that)

bonus: he helped (kinda) with whatever dish you made. He also brought the extra foil, because he didn’t wanna fuck up and bring something stupid

Doflamingo seems to have some principles. Interestingly, his morality system combines permission to kill a blood relative and a ban on underage alcohol drinking. We see again that he's a strange person, and it only adds to his charm.

We all know one canonical fact. Doflamingo was going to help Law to destroy the whole world, as the boy wanted earlier. That's because Doflamingo had seen himself in Law. Plus, Trebol had done the same thing — gave Doflamingo a gun and a devil fruit when he was a kid.

So. If Doflamingo forbids children to drink alcohol, he probably had a bad experience with it. A reason can be this one because Doflamingo allows children to do terrible things. Who knows, maybe he has almost died because he was a little drunk. Dangerous life in a criminal environment could teach him such a lesson. I think so because none of the first members of his crew looks like a person who doesn't drink alcohol even when they were kids. That's why they couldn't forbid him. Besides, all of them, as we know, aren't particularly burdened by morality.

Doflamingo could take care of the children that way. Yes, it shows us once again that he knows how to take care. Moreover, he not only can do it, but he also wants. Doflamingo's personality has such a wide range, and that's what I love about him. His soul and mind have everything from the most terrible to the most beautiful.

We can only guess why Doflamingo doesn't want children to drink alcohol. And that's cool.

it will take a long while before he gives you anything in return and he won’t show his affection if you are able to witness it

instead, he does little things when you’re not aware of it, like covering you with the blanked when you kicked it off while sleeping or making sure that your favourite snack or beverage is always available for you
