Get ready for a long post, folks.

I already posted this to my Twitter, but this is my crappy photoshop on some free app skills because this upcoming tour you BET I will finally see Taylor with my own two blue eyes through lots of tears, probably more tears then when I watched rep tour on Netflix. And trust me, there were a LOT of tears especially when she played All to Well which is one of my favorite songs. It’s one that has been with me through a lot from friends leaving me and falling for people only to not have it work out. It’s a song I play the most on my guitar, honesty.

When my friend Abby from TulipSwift (on YouTube) called me one day when I was in the library on campus studying telling me she got a dm from Taylor Nation, after I left I cried as I was so happy for her. She even FaceTimed me after the show in Columbus to tell me she and her friend met Taylor. Abby is the sweetest person and she so deserved that moment and going to NYC with her for BookCon was amazing 🥺. Such a pure heart. Playing and fangirling over Taylor’s music with her and even making a lip sync video for her channel to Forever and Always is something my 10 year old self always has wanted in a friend since I usually did that myself by myself for years. Wow that actually sounds depressing I didn’t mean to do that 😂.

Also following Liz and Teresa Bissonette on twitter and Instagram for a while now since I found them and met their gorgeous selves through my cousins (because they’re best friends and have been for so long and it’s honestly amazing), seeing their love and passion for her and her music makes me feel less odd as I have always gotten crap for liking Taylor. Also, GO CHECK OUT LIZ’S MUSIC ON ITUNES AND STUFF. SHE’s FANTASTIC AND I LOVE HER AND SHE PROBABLY THINKS IM ODD BUT ITS FINE.

I’ve been waiting since 2009 as I was ten years old when I first bought the Fearless CD in Nashville and then playing it NON-STOP in the car for the entire summer (sorry, dad) to see her in concert. Going to concerts was never a thing my family did so I have only been to two in my life: Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds and Lorde’s Melodrama (I cried during that tbh).

Finally, I will get a T-shirt from the tour for myself and not from my cousin who got one for me during Speak Now. Finally, I might actually have enough money to at least get one ticket and if I might have to go by myself, then I’ll try my best (but don’t tell my mom even though I’m 20 now)😭💜.

FINALLY, I will have even more of a chance to go. My mom has gotten me 1989 tickets for my 16th birthday but she had to cancel them or didn’t end up getting them because I lived out of state with my dad and let me tell you, I was so sad.

This is turning more emotional the more I write, but it’s something that I kind of pushed off for the longest time. It sounds dumb and kind of over dramatic, but when this one person’s music has been with you and you listened and played to it nonstop during a lot of difficult times in your life, it holds a really big and special place in your heart. I’m going to stop writing this now because I’m actually crying. Due to college, I have been doing that a lot lately 😅.

Here’s to seeing Taylor one day light up the stage with my own eyes 💜
