A lot of therians talk about how vocalizing in a certain way makes them feel more in tune with their animalistic nature, but personally I feel very comfortable being quiet too. I don’t make sound because most of the time I just don’t need to. I like to only speak when spoken to and I find making too much noise attracts too much unwanted attention. Thinking about it though, I do make this cawing sound when I get startled or bump into something, that I just can’t help lol
Anyone else relate to this?

After a very bad mental health day partly worrying again if my nonhuman nature will scare my love off he takes me in his arms and slowly feels the bridge of my nose petting me with a finger,"you're a vulture you're my vulture boy and this is your beak because you're a vulture" the entire day of panic, spiral and racing thoughts not only was I finally calmed I was physically relaxed.
He had no clue I was worried about that and he knew I was in vulture shift from a gif I sent him and the fact he remembers about the shifts I don't even know I was taken aback by the sweetness.
He's right I AM a vulture and this IS my beak.
My point is acceptance is beautiful

Tumblr media
I really like this one! Turkey vultures are so cool, we have a lot of them where I live.
Again sorry for the quality! I think I need to make the canvas size larger next time.
Color representations:
Grey and coloured stripes - color of vultures, their red skin, and blue/green iridescence
Light yellow circle - their use of smell to find food (beak color) and their important role in cleaning up the environment
Dark circle - their association with death and eating dead animals, also their association with diseases* (a misconception)
*some people believe they carry cholera and anthrax, but they actually completely destroy cholera when it enters their digestive track, which is pretty metal.

Hey there fellas
This is a kin blog.
Why is this a kin blog? Because I am kin and this is a blog about my kin. For those who don’t know what otherkin is: it’s a person who’s self is connected to a nonhuman creature, through reincarnation or psychological means.
On this blog I’ll prolly just post things related to my kin, like mood boards or art, among other things.
If you’re here to hate on otherkin? I’ll tolerate it. If you just wanna vent or talk about your kin? Go ahead, m’dudes. This is just a regular old kin blog.
So uh yep. See ya ‘round, kiddos.

Hi! Could I get some snack ideas for a Vulturekin and Pigeonkin? No bird-meat (chicken, turkey, etc) but everything else is ok! Preferably sweeter snacks but savoury will do fine! Thanks!
Tumblr media
Sure thing!
Cinnamon Ants on a Stick
Easy Granola Bars
Candied Almonds
Pecan Snack
White Chocolate Snack Mix
Sweet Party Mix
This may be more appealing to the Pigeonkin, but enjoy! ~Shadow

Carnivore/scavenger therian enrichment idea I'd you eat meat (especially to any other vultures out there unless your a palm nut vulture probably).
Buy a rotisserie chicken eat it alone so you can shift comfortably as this may cause a shift or a already happening shift to get stronger and eat it with your bare hands.
I do this occasionally and it triggers a strong shift along with food aggression but it feels so good to shift like that for me personally.
Even if you're not one who shifts I recommend, hope this helps someone

Had a great adventure today accompanied by a tiny human, showing him the farm and the animals letting him get sun and air.
I miss seeing all the pretty green trees and I'mooking forward to the array of warm coloured leaves this autumn.
On our way there I swear I saw a turkey vulture I stared at it long amd hard to hell I'm damn sure it was and of course it gave me excitement.
When we got there after a long while one flew above us for a minute it was awesome and I'm still stoked it was decently low and a rare sight where I live this time of year so quite a rare treat indeed.
My husband has found young vultures on the property before many years ago so I expected to see one eventually thankfully I was there are the right place and time.
I may focus on my Yak theriotype as that's usually my strongest one but I'm still also very much a vulture and have my gear for it even create make up surrounding it and of course I collect bones.
