I definitely understand she was in a hard position though with everything happening with Tom and her kits

Happy Pride Month! Drew some of my favourite gay Warriors ships! I have some more of these types of posts coming as well (two more gay ship posts, a "straight" ship post where the cats are in hetero relationships but they're lgbtq in some way, and aromantice/asexual post, and then some assorted pride headcanons)

Me? Getting inspired to make a theoretical bumble turtle tail map thumbnail? its more likely then you think, it's very very loosely based aesthetically around flowerfell and Secret Garden

Turtle Tail wracked by guilt has a dream where a Bumble who's eyes are covered in flowers takes her into a beautiful garden, and Turtle Tail almost gets lost in it, wanting to stay dreaming, but the longer she stays she gets more glimpses of Bumble's memories and pain, flowers growing over where the wounds that killed her would be with every new memory. Turtle Tail is forced to face that her best friend and girlfriend is dead, and she can't go back to the days before Tom, before everything went wrong, she has to leave this garden and face reality.

She begs for forgiveness, finally letting herself grieve for Bumble and come to terms with how badly she messed up, but Bumble meant it when she apologized on her death bed. So she lifts Turtle Tail's head after she cries for few seconds, and tells her that even if she is dead, it's not too late for Turtle Tail to be a better cat, to do what she couldn't before, to be kind like she was before, and that Bumble still loves her. Sometimes kindness is enough.

When Turtle Tail wakes up, she thinks it's just a dream, but finds one of the flowers that were covering Bumble under her paw, so she puts it in her fur and walks out of her den, completely snubbing Gray's Wing as she heads to Bumble's grave to sit by it. Silently promising that she will be better, and that she'll never let what happened to Bumble happen to another cat as she looks up at the clouds.

Turtle Tail and Bumble hypokits?

Martin - a black-and-white tom with a shortened tail and green eyes. very calm and laid-back most of the time, does his best to avoid conflict whenever he can. boring according to Tip, but the favourite of his housefolk. a good hunter, due to his patience and ability to step very quietly, but doesn't usually get a chance to catch anything other than a sparrow in his garden.

Tip - a tortoiseshell-and-white molly with hazel eyes. naturally good at finding things, and keeps lots of pretty twoleg trash she finds in the house or the garden. grooms herself the most, and has a very shiny, thick fur.

Pansy - a gray tortoiseshell-and-white molly with green eyes. determined and energetic, having trouble with staying in one place for too long. was never really suited for kittypet life, at a young age she managed to escape her housefolk and now lives as a loner in the twolegplace. she still tries to visit her littermates whenever she can, but sometimes she wanders off way too far and has trouble finding her way back. not very social, prefers to be left alone most of the time.

honestly I like it enough. It’s not something I’m nuts over (cause frankly pairings in general are something I don’t care for) but it’s something that I appreciate for what it offers up: Two old women who had lost everything at some point being there for each other.

I think it’s sweet how BlueStar and YellowFang are portrayed in the new ITW Graphic Novel but also unfortunately people don’t care about those moments because I never see waves of posts about that one panel of BlueStar and YellowFang rubbing their faces against each other while blushing; I see waves of posts about stupid fucking FireGrey I don’t care about them. Never does the old woman yuri get any attention it’s always the young man yaoi that gets fans screaming and crying and spam posting about it. Anyways preddy good pairing if I must say so myself.

FireStar/OneStar

I like it in the case of FireStar getting divorced once again and only in that case. I see some portrayals of this done in a way that makes it seem like the final straw that broke them up was OneStar being such an oh so meanie weenie to poor lil FireStar. When really it’s more likely for them to have broken up because OneStar got sick of how FireStar had treated him during the whole Windclan Civil War thing, practically forcing him into the position of leader when he didn’t want it.

it’s something that the fans use to further demonize OneStar. Like yeah he was mean as fuck to FireStar but you’re all annoying as fuck about it and also are wrong in how you view his rudeness towards him

Bumble/TurtleTail

Very solid pairing that I myself enjoy a lot. In recent times though I’ve felt my perception of it change in a little more of a negative light, but in a good way.

don’t get me wrong I really like the idea of a healthy TurtleBumble relationship but knowing what went down with Bumble in the books, it makes me imagine a relationship of the two that started out amazingly but slowly withered away because of TurtleTail practically turning her back against Bumble when she needed help the most. I like the idea of Bumble becoming more and more angry towards her because of this and TurtleTail feeling great amounts of grief and guilt but still unable to fully accept responsibility for Bumbles eventual death. With her even going as far as never truly apologizing to Bumble and kind of dunking on her physical abilities on Bumbles fucking deathbed.

The idea of Bumbles ghost growing angrier at this whole thing is amazing to me and the thought of Bumble herself being scared when she realizes she actually hates TurtleTail now is just -Chefs kiss- perfect.

aesthetic; i get cottagecore vibes tbh! mixture of turtle tail's wilderness and bumble's past as a kittypet

headcanons;

- bumble had always really wanted kits, but never found anyone she wanted to have them with.... until turtle tail!

- tom had agreed to act as their donor, but quickly became controlling, and told anyone and everyone that they were his kits.

- turtle tail fled to wind runner's camp, and bumble chose to stay with her housefolk, visiting turtle tail as often as possible

- unfortunately tom was well aware of this arrangement, and when he failed to convince bumble to lead him to turtle tail, attacked her.

- bumble made it to wind runner's camp, but unfortunately succumbed to her wounds that night.

- if she had lived, she would have continued to raise sparrow fur, pebble heart, and owl eyes alongside turtle tail, this time making the choice to move in to wind runner's camp. unlike in canon, wind runner would have allowed her to stay- anyone who fights off a cat like tom out of pure devotion to her mate and kits is perfectly able to survive in the wilderness in her books.
