Historical fencing is great cuz you can literally go "this blows, I would rather be getting hit with a 3 lb steel bar rn" in basically every situation and mean it with your whole heart

Because I'm evil, a little headcanon for my Lavellan and Cullen:

Throughout Inquisiton Cullywully is down bad for Lavellan, but she's into Solas. No prob, he knows how to be respectful and professional and keep his crushes to himself. They still grow close, she helps him through lyrium withdrawal, he looks up to her, they play chess together frequently, etc etc.

Solas 'dumps' Lavellan for reasons unknown and baffling to everyone, given how very obviously he still cares for her. Lavellan is extremely sad and angry and embarrassed and emotionally closed off. Cullen doesn't touch this situation with a ten foot pole because he's not a moron. He's supportive but not stupid.

But then Solas is gone.

A year goes by.

Then two.

Lavellan and Cullen still play chess frequently. They talk about their families. His siblings are teasing him about settling down. Maybe Leliana and Josie are wink wink nudge nudging the pair, hoping Curly could fix what Chuckles broke.

Cullen caves and makes the ask. Can there be something here? Can they be more?

Lavellan politely declines. There's not nothing reciprocated. She thinks that, maybe, if any number of things had gone differently she could have said yes. But she's still hopelessly in love with Solas, which only gets reinforced in the most heartbreaking way in Trespasser. She can't in good conscience accept Cullen's heart when her own heart is outside her chest, off doing nefarious things to the Veil.

But because it's a 'No' tinged with the slightest bit of 'Yes', Cullen has in his secretest heart of hearts the littlest bit of hope that her mind might one day change. And this hope persists for ten years as she occasionally helps with his ex-Templar rehab center and they chat and play chess and his siblings like her oh so much. She's never anything but friendly, and he never asks again, but the hope remains like an ember.

Until one day, Inquisitor Lavellan goes to Minrathous and never returns. She goes to Minrathous and leaves Thedas forever and finally finally that tiny bit of what could be dies on the vine.

idk if this is an unpopular opinion among unbreakable bond enjoyers but i honestly dont think sonic raised tails in the literal sense of the word. i mean yeah theres no parents in the picture here so sonic is probably the closest thing to a caretaker figure that tails has but even then i dont think sonic himself ever really saw it that way he probably thought they were just hanging out

Anyway Kaname and Zero’s body types. I didn’t want either to be easily twinkifiable/feminizable/chickifiable, so I tried to set body types that were muscular and different enough to not be considered lithe.

I also got the ✨courage✨ to give them body hair bc realistically they wouldn’t be hairless, they’re men permanently in their 20s in a weird apocalypse and they’re men so.

For Kaname I see him as some kinda stocky fencer-type—though fencers don’t have a specified body type you get it because fencers=weird ominous gracefulness and high society, all that.

Zero in part 1 I’d say is kind of scrawny but then part 2 because he acts feral/like a dog half the time he runs on all fours and thus has very strong arms. But that’s paired with the fact he doesn’t drink much blood not cuz of a sense of honor, but because even when he swears not to wallow in self-pity anymore he’s still self-flagellating.
