sorry for coming into your mailbox for this, but i don’t understand the sabres - like tyson barely gets 10 minutes of game play a game, like no wonder he doesn’t improve or score or help the team.. he doesn’t get to do much!!

the sabres are clinging onto players that really aren’t doing a good job at the moment and it really really shows. i’m hoping that tyson gets some good ice time at rochester to up his game and show the sabres what he can do 😞

i don't get it either, and this has been an issue with the avs & wild as well. bottom six, pk role, no ice time, low-producing linemates, no consistency. what did they think would happen?

let's take a look back, actually. what happened when mackinnon got injured and he took his place between landeskog & rantanen? 7 points in 13 games. what happened when they put him on kaprizov's line? yeah, point production.

i haven't watched the sabres this year, so i'll take your word for it. my question is this: what was the point of not qualifying him, just to sign him for $0.5M less, if cap space was going to be an issue? why not let him go if he isn't a part of the long-term plan?

if rochester is where he needs to be right now, then fine, i'm sure he'll show up with his trademark positive attitude and work ethic. but this is getting worrying. it didn't work with a top-of-the-league team. didn't work with a stanley cup contender. it's not working with a rebuilding team. so where – and when – is it supposed to work, exactly?

I'm sure she would be a bit confused at first, more since she knew about Lia and Nori's relationship. However, I'm sure that said confusion would change to happiness as soon as she realizes it means her son's happiness.

And Lia and Nori? They would be trying to hide it, but with Lia's mom having passed away a few years before, and Nori's mom not focusing on anything but making him "perfect" and "successful", both of them are awfully starved of a mom's affection.

And if Holy notices this? She's going to be extra sweet. After all, that's the least she could do for the people that are so loving and caring of her son.

Sypnosis: Percy just cant wrap his head around the fact that you, the sweetest girl in camp, was dating Clarisse la rue, the meanest

you were like Percy's older sister. from the moment he arrived at camp you were sweet on him. you sat with him at the cabin 3 table when he was alone, you baked blue chocolate cookies for him whenever he felt homesick or just missed his mom, and you even helped him pack whenever he had a quest. So when he found out that you were dating Clarisse, his biggest hater, he almost exploded. Clarisse was the complete opposite from you, from even before the moment he arrived from camp, Clarisse hated Percy, she attempted to dunk his head in a toilet, constantly picked on him, and picked him to spar against her just to beat his ass. why on earth would should a sweet girl like you want to date such a horrible girl like her?

"why do you even like her? she's a menace" you and Percy sat at the cabin 3 table, even though Percy has Tyson as his company at the table now, you and him had a lot to catch up on, especially your relationship with Clarisse. "a lot has changed since you left Percy, clary is not a menace, she's just a troubled kid like all half-bloods are, you just seem to be a major outlet for her anger that's all." all Percy paid attention to in your little speech was the nickname you called her, 'clary'. it swim through his brain. the way you said it with ease made him feel sick. the nickname made her seem nice in a way. like he could see her like how you saw her through your eyes. it made him want to gag a little. " i just don't understand how you could like someone who's so mean to me" he pouted a little, seeming genuinely hurt. all these people at camp and you just had to pick her. " oh Percy, it isn't that simple, maybe one day you'll understand" you glanced at Annabeth, but Percy didn't seem to notice. "love!" Tyson suddenly shouted which made Percy jump a bit, as it didn't seem he was listening to your conversation . "yes Tyson, love" you gave him a loving smile and patted his hand

My thoughts on Percy Jackson as someone who is reading it for the first time (i’m on the Last Olympian) spoilers ahead!!!

- Past Nico would absolutely lose it meeting Present Nico. He’d be like strong emo boy? I lov him.

- Clarisse and Thalia have kissed at some point. They never spoke of it again.

- I love Sally Jackson. I’m waiting for her to have a seen where she grabs a sword and just cuts down a mf for her son. stab Kronos in the foot Sally! You got it bbg!

- Tyson tries to teach himself how to sew and makes a pegasus plushie for Percy. Nonnegotiable. He stabs himself in the fingers, has to get help from a crowd of cyclopes.

- Zoe is baby. Shoulda been better protected, deserves her place in the stars

- Dionysus has a stick up his ass or smth bro calm down why is your enemy a child. Same with Ares

- Percy coming back to find that Grover is dating a bush is fucking hilarious

- Percy seeing Aphrodite and saying she looked like Annabeth? Top tier.

- Also, I know Percabeth is the THING but him and Rachel was kinda cute

- Percy, dyslexic, solemnly reading the prophecy INCORRECTLY to a room of other dyslexics is just….Chiron, darling,,,,read it out loud or smth. Spare the poor boy

- OH MY GODS AND the way Annabeth said she’d heard it when she was ten and had had nightmares ever since??? Gurl literally admitted she had dreamed of Percy dying and it scared her real bad for YEARS

- There’s literally no way the prophecy actually means Percy permanently dies. Someone else does, or he does and then is reborn. There’s no way he just dies in five days

- bro has no chance against Kronos, why does he keep trying to stab him and then acts surprised when his sword just bounces off the Titan’s skin??

- ADHD does NOT help with battle sense. I speak as an ADHD who was tried MMA. It did not work out. These halfbloods are fucking lying.

- Why no Persephone children? I wanna be a Persephone child

- Grover shoulda become the next diety of the wild, or just a part of it, something stronger and magical tho

I watched episode 8 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians last night….gosh!!

I have to say one of my favorite parts was the reveal, I had chills through the entire sequence. I’m happy Percy didn’t find out until the end because it made the reveal so much better and incredibly sadder.

Charlie Bushnell is amazing as Luke. Seeing him breakdown while still not putting his personal feelings in the way (for the most part) and seeing him lose it when Percy brings up Hermes! 😮‍💨 Honestly I just kept thinking of how much Luke is allowed to be and feel betrayed and he’s allowed to be angry, go off man.

But when Annabeth saves Percy and takes off the cap.🧢 Seeing Luke’s face made me so sad, again absolute chills because there is a huge history with Luke and Annabeth and Charlie and Leah really really got that message across. Imagine someone you’ve seen as your brother and best friend be a minion of Kronos and eventually have no remorse.

And in the end it was seeing Annabeth being upset that made him run away in my opinion.

Side notes:

1. I am so so excited for season 2!! Silena Beauregard!! Can’t wait to see her and more of the Aphrodite Cabin!! (That’s my cabin btw) And of course my boy Tyson of course!! Plus after reading the Sea of Monsters, I am so excited to see Charlie as Luke being this official, in a suit bad guy.

2. When Percy got back to camp, and Annabeth was like don’t look at Clarisse, who looks upset and mad as she should be. I find it so funny that Percy and Annabeth were able to detect everything in the series like the lotus flowers, crusty, but not Clarisse not being the lightning thief. She’s not Percy’s friend clearly and it never once occurred to either of them that she’s upset because Percy beat her dad and her cabin’s ego?! I love Clarisse and can’t wait to see her redemption and proving Percy wrong, she is hero and a great fighter and deserves the world.
